2701  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would like to know if anyone has heard of BitClub Network on: August 20, 2015, 06:25:54 AM
obvious ponzi. see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1152263.msg12190311#msg12190311 - faking user testimonials is a great indicator for a shady company. looks like OP here is was shilling hard for them
2702  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitClub Network: MLM promises, false testimonials and PoS coin - AVOID on: August 20, 2015, 06:13:57 AM
They must have them on a different rotation somehow, the rapist is still listed in that group of 'satisfied investors' when I load it up.

Quite likely, there are various different addresses which are run by MLMer's high up the food chain, you'll see at the bottom of the page which member is "sponsoring" the version you are looking at. On this page he's vanished completely, (only three dots representing "Members who love us")
One huge red flag for anyone undecided is that you cannot sign up for the BitClub Network without a referral, just as a customer off the street, so to speak.
You MUST use a referral page, otherwise you get this:-

Think about that.
If you've read that absurdly complicated page of their referral commission structure, you won't be surprised to learn that over 30% of all new 'investment' goes solely on maintaining the referral payments.
https://bitclubnetwork.com/compensation.html

Q: Why would a legitimate company only take investments through third parties at a cost of 30+% commission, rather than allow direct investment and receive 100% of the money?
A: They wouldn't.

the most funny thing is they're too dumb to use a decent translation software. the German used in the testimonial is broken to the bone.
2703  Economy / Services / Re: Coinomat.com - Signature Campaign! [STARTED] on: August 20, 2015, 05:54:37 AM
Same here. Can't check my current stats just now. How about those who will make a post now? You think guys it is counted?

the post count is linked to your bitcointalk profile. so you won't lose anything, even if the bitsig site is down. the numbers will parsed again once it's up
2704  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if my account has positive trust is it value pushed up? on: August 20, 2015, 05:27:49 AM
as mentioned above, if it is surely its a recipe for disaster with scammers and such :/

it is not a good idea to sell the account with positive trust because it might get abused

I think most people in the right mind wouldnt sell the account only because it took so long to increase their rep, even if they sold that account for a premium. only cause it would make the community like crap or bite them back later down the road.

if you follow the digital market section, you'd see a lot of people literally don't care about anything. there are so many account sales, even hero accs with trust...
2705  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its time for the campaign runners to raise your pathetic rates on: August 20, 2015, 04:59:14 AM
you can earn 0.10 bitcoin per week with coinomat's signature campaign for example. if you got the time that is. I'd say it's a great rate.
2706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin / Altcoin Wallet (local vs hosted) on: August 20, 2015, 04:55:38 AM
there is block.io - online wallet. you can use it for bitcoin, litecoin and dogecoin. remember: a 3rd party is not really secure.
2707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 20, 2015, 04:43:07 AM

2710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT? on: August 19, 2015, 12:19:08 PM
Scaling blocks are needed in the future, but not from 2 rogue devs through an altcoin. no to XT
2711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which bitcoin wallet is the safest and the most convenient? on: August 19, 2015, 10:39:15 AM
safest and convenient: electrum

in terms of security vs convenience I'd go with ninkip2p. multisig wallet with desktop and mobile client and 2FA

2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving into LTC until XT issue is resolved? As a safe haven? on: August 19, 2015, 06:48:23 AM
If I had to choose, I'd convert all my bitcoin to BitShares BitUSD - and convert it back after the storm is over.

don't think it's needed for the current XT drama, doubt it'll see consent.
2714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gavin is so desperate about his fork? Is he hiding something? on: August 19, 2015, 05:25:19 AM
Gavin himself said Satoshi never spoke to him again after mentioning the CIA, but Satoshi's last message was to put Gavin in charge. It doesn't add up.

No it doesn't but it's all stuff that comes from Gavins' mouth. We have no evidence for nothing of that, do we?

Was the "let's put Gavin in charge" msg signed with Satoshi's key?  Or did Satoshi actually disappear get disappeared before it was written, so that msg could be plausibly confirmed by his subsequent absence?

If we're going to declare Satohi's latest post to the list as fake until proven otherwise, let's do the same for his "Gavin is in charge" decision.

If it's not signed, agnostic is the proper trust level.

doesn't matter at this point. once bitcoinxt goes south, Gavin won't have a place to come back to. he decided to go rogue, and I hope no one will welcome him back
2715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with all these people switching to BitcoinXT? on: August 19, 2015, 05:07:16 AM
What's up with all this shilling on BitcoinXT? it's just an altcoin at this point
2716  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any game site to earn bitcoin? on: August 19, 2015, 05:01:34 AM
you can play games in Tremorgames and get paid in their local currency. they offer bitcoin payouts, if I remember correctly
2717  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 19, 2015, 04:50:26 AM
But there was no SEC investigation  Roll Eyes

Wonder how long before we start seeing charges from other 3 letter agencies.

indeed, this is only the beginning. maybe we should call a new season instead of the last chapter? there's lots of entertainment
2718  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 18, 2015, 07:48:13 PM
alright, it's official popcorn time!

coindesk article: http://www.coindesk.com/sec-files-suit-against-brother-of-gaw-miners-ceo-amid-investigation/

is this the final chapter?
2719  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY CPIG BTCLend xpyerr.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: August 18, 2015, 06:08:38 PM
wow thats classic  Grin its almost like he is retarded
at last some satisfaction. these people need some harsh punishment  Kiss

Mumbly fuck halftard brother Homero doesn't have to put on a tard act. He always sounds like a 6 year old on two bowls of fruitloops. Random buzzwords repeated over and over with absolutely no actual content.

He had to have been coached to do that.  Coached by a halfwit.  So im guessing another Garza lol

yep, he showed those muggles from the SEC who's boss. a great act, but that won't help them.
2720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite? [ XEM or NXT ] on: August 18, 2015, 05:17:25 PM
NXT is working and contributing. I like XEM wallet more though, but that's only cosmetics.
