I made an order a little over an hour ago and paid it in full a couple of minutes later. However, no confirmation was shown in the order page, like it was never received. My payment now has 4 confirmations in my wallet, it went through quite a while ago, but the site failed to register it. Now the order is displayed as "Expired", even though I paid for it. I ordered from Bitmain a couple of times before and this is the first time this happened to me. Anyone else ran into this problem?
Before you ask, yes, I sent the BTC to the right address.
Did you include a small transaction fee in the payment? Otherwise it can take hours to confirm.

So are they worth 1BTC each?

Hey all. I placed an order on the Bitmain website on 1/24 about 9am Pacific time here in the USA. I paid for my purchase promptly, and my order status showed the payment confirmed within 45 minutes of the purchase. As I write this, order status still shows unshipped. My understanding was that I had placed the order in time that it should be shipped before Chinese New Year. Keeping fingers crossed that's the case. I'll post back if my status changes. Curious if anyone else is in this same situation? Thanks 9AM PST on the 24th is 1AM on Saturday 25th in China. Its the weekend. Chinese New Year doesn't start till the 31st Jan.

Bitmain is not responsible for this situation, unless they bought the whole UPS secretly... It's the courier's fault and fixing a plane can take ages since one loose screw can cause deaths. I'm sure UPS is hoping to get it fixed ASAP because the plane doesn't only carry miners. That ups plane has loads of other customers' parcels delay. E-mailing bitmain is a viable way to get an answer, but only if UPS told them. Complaining bitmain doesn't make the situation goes better, moreover, it's not bit main's fault. If you want to complain, complain UPS's policy. Im sure bitmain is getting spammed by loads of pm (including me ). The reason why people are worried, is that its not UPS's policy to hold goods on the ground in a broken aircraft, they have standby aircraft to resolve this sort of issue pronto. In any normal situation they should have offloaded the shipments from the broken plane onto a new plane by now and it should have been airborne and on its way two days ago.

After fail in a price negotiation with Bitmain, someone here starts to troll. It is sad that he cannot stop our customers keep buying Antminer and getting their investment back, and cannot push up the difficulty by his worthless words. And his "big thing" in the thin air will just not push the difficulty up as easy as he trolls. Bitmain does big things in mining industry, and we know it is not easy to make it so big. Last hours of sales before Chinese New Year. Can't stop the trolls unfortunately, they are either angry, frustrated or paid by other companies to try and derail the competitors thread. My miner is stuck in Mumbai, not your fault, and appreciate the offer of a coupon, any chance we could get them on our account in time to order another miner? Biffa, the next shipping date will be after the Chinese New Year, and we will have enough time to discuss, decide and issue a coupon for affected customers. Understood, I was just worried that my Mumbai delayed miner might never arrive. As you can see I've dealt with that concern now

He has no competitors dude as long he is making the chip. No one can beat him. That is called monopoly Doh, his competitors are chipmakers.

I've started a poll. Hopefully it will bring some negative attention to the lack of a response from BITMAIN and force his hand. Everybody affected by this delay by UPS has valid reasons to be concerned. These units are extremely time sensitive and late delivery could mean the difference between ROI and losing money. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=431890.0Just stop calling UPS about it n00bs I don't know about you, but Bitmain has been VERY responsive to my PMs and emails ( webmaster@bitmaintech.com). Have you tried both methods instead of putting him on blast?? I find people are much more responsive to positive emails and messages than the opposite. I've worked in the services industry (food service, customer service, wait staff) for a long time before I became an IT Professional and it just amazes me that some people (IMHO) have this entitlement mentality and way too much unrealistic expectations. Consider some things may be out of their control. Keep in mind, the time zone difference, too. Bottomline, compared to other mining hardware companies, I've gotten more timely communication from Bitmain than BFL and Hash Fast combined! Thats exactly what I was advocating, what I was saying is don't call UPS because its the worst thing you can do and they won't help, all it might do is arise suspicion especially if people start telling them what it is they are waiting for and why its so important that a couple of days delay will matter. Contact BITMAIN not UPS.

UPATE on airplane hijack:
Plane was stuck for customs reasons, and lady from UPS told me that this is common and delay might be up to 2 business(working) days.
Lady adviced me that package should be with me on monday form 9-7pm. Last scan was done on mumbai which means that cargo left customs and after scan is ready for shipping to another hub.
I hope all this is true. Because if not till monday will loose easily 1 BTC.
Bitmain cmoon man, wake up and give us an answer.Only you can contact directly mumbai and chase them about this issue.

All ASIC manufacturers are scams, and if anyone went to investigate in person and came back to report a great company...what would they be? That's the rule.
I remember the shit Orama took here and how KNC were a scam. I'm sure he does too.
I'm unlikely to be interested in these but if I change my mind I'll pop on a train and go look. I'd keep that info to myself unless someone asked politely, the less ASICS out there the better and I'd not fancy the grief I'd get for sharing info. I'm sure someone much closer than me will do just that rather than fuck about with another scary international shipping drama. It's very close to a lot of miners over here. Well worth a day trip.
Problem is people have done day trips before, doesn't always mean much. Yes obviously if its a total scam then a day trip would be good. But look at the parent company, look at the light industrial estate the are on, its obvious even the parent only buys other people chips and makes controller boards with them. They aren't a chip fab by any stretch of the imagination, I would think that at best if they are legit they have an "in" on some up and coming 20nm chips from China and are preparing to fab up the boards to hold them.

It seems that KnC considers selling preorders as unfair. Is it? What is board's opinion on this? In US we are perfectly in our right to sell preorders on pretty much anything: tickets, iphones, game consols (PS4, Xbox) Why it is fair to sell used Jupiter for triple the price, but "not fair" to sell a preorder?
What? Every batch barring the upgrade boards have been preorder. What are you referring to? He means selling your pre-order to someone else.

A question for those in the UK, has anyone had a call from UPS about the value of an Antminer without calling them calling UPS first?
Yes me. Check my last 5-6 posts in this topic, which are precisely about this. Got an email to confirm the value and was told I can pay over the phone later this evening or directly to the courier during delivery on Monday. I understand you got one Cyper, I was really asking who else got a call because the shipment is in Mumbai and would not have gone through physical clearance in Castle Donnington so I am confused as to why you got singled out for such a call. His probably isn't in Mumbai, think it shipped earlier than that one. Actually just checked and it is: The email I received after my phone call from UPS is from sdeаrden@ups.cоm and it starts like that: This e-mail is frоm UPS Brоkerage at East Midlands Airpоrt. We are respоnsible fоr cоmpleting UK Impоrt Custоms fоrmalities оn yоur behalf fоr UPS shipments. We are cоntacting yоu because we need mоre infоrmatiоn frоm yоu in оrder tо cоmplete Impоrt Custоms fоrmalities оn a current shipment. Ah, so pre-clearance, hopefully that means the stuff is in transit. I'm hoping its this one: http://www.flightradar24.com/UPS15Left Mumbai 17:51 local time

In the same way as rejections. Out of the Accepted, x% were rejected and x% were hardware errors.
Ah, thanks. So of my miner's total work: 1.406% are rejections 2.76% are HW errors =4.166% of empty work. The above is based off my current 211 configuration, but this difference would not cover the much wider gap of machine reporting versus poolside of my previous 251. So, I think the test should be extended to 231 and then 251. Perhaps I'll try temus's latest configuration, which is different altogether. What is WU, by the way? Thank you. From https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/blob/master/READMEThe output line shows the following: (5s):1713.6 (avg):1707.8 Mh/s | A:729 R:8 HW:0 WU:22.53/m
Each column is as follows: 5s: A 5 second exponentially decaying average hash rate avg: An all time average hash rate A: The total difficulty of Accepted shares R: The total difficulty of Rejected shares HW: The number of HardWare errors WU: The Work Utility defined as the number of diff1 shares work / minute (accepted or rejected).
BAS 1: max 67C 3.27V | 62.29G/62.19Gh/s | A:140813 R:256 HW:2860 WU: 852.0/m
Each column is as follows: Temperature (if supported) Fanspeed (if supported) A 5 second exponentially decaying average hash rate An all time average hash rate The total difficulty of accepted shares The total difficulty of rejected shares The number of hardware erorrs The work utility defined as the number of diff1 shares work / minute
The cgminer status line shows: ST: 1 SS: 0 NB: 1 LW: 8 GF: 1 RF: 1
ST is STaged work items (ready to use). SS is Stale Shares discarded (detected and not submitted so don't count as rejects) NB is New Blocks detected on the network LW is Locally generated Work items GF is Getwork Fail Occasions (server slow to provide work) RF is Remote Fail occasions (server slow to accept work)
The block display shows: Block: 0074c5e482e34a506d2a051a... Started: [17:17:22] Best share: 2.71K
This shows a short stretch of the current block, when the new block started, and the all time best difficulty share you've found since starting cgminer this time.

R: is rejected, and HW: is hardware errors. A: is accepted
A:159374 R:2242 = 1.406% rejections How are HW errors quantified? How do I make sense of the 4403? Thank you. In the same way as rejections. Out of the Accepted, x% were rejected and x% were hardware errors.
