2701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 18, 2021, 07:47:54 PM
Lille honestly taking their hard path for sure. They managed to beat PSG and then got a tie against Montpellier just so PSG could get closer again. Now there is only 1 point difference when it could have been 3. In any case they are doing well and this was just a mishap but I think they need to recover a lot better and keep winning games for a while, go on a winning streak for example, if you get like 4 winning streak, league is basically over and they will become champions most probably, but they end up winning the hardest ones and losing to easiest games, it is really weird.

In any case, if PSG ends up winning the league I will not be shocked, it is obvious that they are the better team in the league, haven't been playing proper football in the league this year, but at the end of the day it is PSG and no matter how little they cared about the league, they could still win it.
2702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: April 18, 2021, 07:16:12 PM
Even a pro trader can lose at times, but it's great to see that you have a trading strategy that actually works for you, so many traders lack this and that's why they end up with losses, filling your bag while the altcoins market is done is a really good strategy, just like now the whole crypto market is in red, buying some potential altcoins won't be that bad cause after the correction there's gonna be a pump, i'm not sure bitcoin turns bearish when altcoins pump, I think they both go together but altcoins dump more if bitcoin dumps a little.
When your factor is on your favor, definitely you will get all of the strategy will be working for you. I believe this is what happening with OP. Because, I'm not seeing OP' strategy will be working on all the times because I have noticed both bitcoin and altcoins are moving sometimes in same direction and sometimes in different directions.

So, having this is as a strategy to make use of buying and selling bitcoin or altcoins may not be profitable in all times; probably it may work for some times and I believe only in those times OP had traded and found this strategy profitable
2703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a few beginner questions regarding crypto trading on: April 18, 2021, 06:35:41 PM
Now if you are not good in making your computer secure or keeping valuable information from being hacked or stolen from a vault, as many says here, then you go to save your coins to a reputable exchange.
If someone is unable to take care of his computer secured for storing cryptocurrency and for other information then definitely they will be unfit to be existing in this crypto space. You may find me too rude here but I am sorry when you are not good in securing yourself then there will be no point of getting into this crypto space.

Because, we are into a open source era and everything is all about making sure about security by cryptography. If you are not good in securing yourself then there will be no point of earning/trading/storing your cryptocurrencies.

I never agree with leaving off your capital in trading exchange itself. You may leave some money in exchange for trading purposes but do not leave your good profits in exchange itself.
2704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you don't need to HODL or trade Bitcoin on: April 18, 2021, 04:52:17 PM
Having read through the thread, the only valid point I saw OP make was that Ethereum has more features compared to Bitcoin thanks to its smart contracts. Aside from that, there's nothing more about why we should invest or trade Ethereum instead of Bitcoin especially since ETH transaction fees and throughput is similar to that of bitcoin  - slow and expensive.
I do not see any valid point; I understand OP is a bitcoin hater and there will be no point of keeping this topic here probably it needs to be moved into altcoin boards as it is for altcoin lovers. Bitcoin got 1 MB block and 10 minute confirmation for reasons but same thing in ethereum shows the lag while designing (1 MB block and 10 minute confirmation are fine for an asset as bitcoin was designed by having gold in mind).

I don't even see why Ethereum should take the front row when it comes to investment or trading in this space.
Yeah, only bitcoin haters will keep emphasizing that. That is why I believe that OP kind of people should be barred to create topics outside altcoin boards, just my opinion.
2705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 18, 2021, 03:33:49 PM
I was not able to watch this game (Lakers vs Jazz), but did really Lebron get a T after Clarkson slap him a little?

Lebron James Got's Technical For Delaying the Game After Jordan Clarkson Slapped Him

BTW, I guess this was JC's first start as a Utah Jazz and he really did everything to win but come ups short.

Yeah, Clarkson was really instrumental in leading the Utah Jazz and force an overtime.

However, the team really come up short, KCP and Dennis Schröder, scary tandem. But I don't like the rumour that Knicks want Dennis Schröder, but are reportedly unlikely to get into ‘bidding war’ for him.

And with this win, Lakers firmly on the 5th spot, like 3 games ahead of Portland.
This match really upset many of my friend that bet on Jazz that time. Drummond miraculously show a very strong game which is sufficient to shutdown a strong team like Jazz. Actually I was surprised too that Lakers perform that well without there Aces. Ggwp to the betlords who bet on the underdog Lakers that time.  Cheesy
Jazz is really playing like a proper team, they are really good, with everyone on the floor they are going to be a huge threat in the NBA for sure. However I feel like it is not the league for teams anymore, it is the league for superstars. I mean look at teams, with Nets having so many, Lakers having 2, Clippers having 2, Bucks having an amazing one, Nuggets have Jokic (and had Murray), it is really looking weird. Look at Suns, they "look" great right? Anyone even doubts that they won't win it this year?

I mean it is obvious that they are not going to win it this year, and yet they won so many games. Which is why regular season matters but not as much as people imagine it is, obviously most of the time best team becomes the first team, but that is not required, I remember plenty of times Lebrons teams finished under first seed and still went to finals all the time.
2706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 18, 2021, 12:42:05 PM
The problem is that both Eoin Morgan and Andre Russell are not in very good form with the bat right now. And more worryingly for the Kolkata Knight Riders, two of their in form batsmen (Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi) just threw away their wickets. Right now Morgan and Nitish Rana are striking the ball really hard and if KKR want to win this match, then these two need to build a decent partnership and stay there for 10+ overs.
Yeah, just now Dinesh Karthik came in after Nitish Rana also threw away his wicket. Chennai pitch is something special which kills the sprit of T20 matches. I mean we want high scoring matches to enjoy the day but 2nd batting side is simply suffering even they are chasing low scores (but today is different case thanks to Maxwell and ABD).

I guess today RCB is going to win their first ever 3rd consecutive victory on the history of IPL. I mean they never got 3 consecutive winning streaks and if they win today that will become possible on this 14th edition of IPL. Let's watch how KKR batsmen taking match from here.
2707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters are getting axed harder on: April 17, 2021, 05:01:41 PM
I think most of this project team see hunters as being toothless because they know the worst you can do cannot affect their project. They name you different names just to make you look like a fool in the eyes of investors.

Until there is a way to deal honorably with these team, hunters will continue to suffer
In order to make this go away I have been suggesting to use USDT or BTC as payment because that is the only time it could be realistic, give that to escrow that bitcointalk forum believes in and you are golden. If one place does this, some others will follow and when they follow others will have to follow. Look at everything in crypto, usually things are not trustworhty and bad and suddenly one place makes it more trustworhty and better and all other places start to follow up on them, why? Because if they don't they will not be invested.

So, if one bounty does the bounty properly like I suggest others will follow because if they don't people will not apply to them. We have to make sure to pressure the bounty campaigns with this suggestion and our request in order to make them all realize we want this.
2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Million BNB Burnt today on: April 17, 2021, 07:03:16 AM
If you are not aware of this, Binance today burnt 1 Million BNB worth $500 Million dollars. What is the expected price jump in BNB due to this?
Are you kidding? That is half of billion dollars? Even they are not doing this, I am sure BNB will keep going with bull run as it got many real world applications. Honestly I somehow could get their intention for burning this much amount of BNB coins. Yes, in some sense, we need to understand it like binance is caring about its investors and to get them best possible benefits, they are doing this kind of other activities which are always leading to assured appreciation of coins.

I read binance's sister concern wazirx also burning some multiple of its exchange token to fire up its rally. Already wazirx token is on good rally like BNB coin. I guess binance is dominating in crypto space by all these.
2709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: April 16, 2021, 06:44:40 PM
The dogecoin has already pumped up twice with the help of popular persons like Elon Musk, now that many people are trying to invest in Dogecoin, expecting to have another madness on doge. So what if, Elon Musk and other popular experts stopped supporting this meme coin, is there are a possibility that Dogecoin reaches 1$ on its own?

Well, like what I've said, this is just a meme coin, no utility, no usage but what do you think will be the realistic value of Dogecoin for the upcoming years?
I remember saying it would NEVER be 1 dollar, it was a pipe dream that some doge investors had and it would never be there and I literally mocked and joked about "idiots" that thought it would be possible. now I am looking at the price and I can say that I am the real idiot, I have been around for years and I had like 5 million doge from some casino jackpot I won, and sold it right away because at that point it was like 3k or so and I thought that was a lot of money.

If I keep that much money, today it would have been something much more special and I would have so much more money. In any case, I was wrong, but I would still not buy it, it doesn't make sense to me. I invest into the technology most of the time, and I invest to make money of course but I still feel like investing into something and hoping that Elon would tweet about it doesn't make sense to me.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 16, 2021, 05:29:59 PM
I'm in crypto gambling world, it's more than four years. Time to time there was changes in my gambling activity. Firstly, I started it for fun purpose and never took it seriously. But at some point I got addicted to gambling. Spend a lot of time daily and didn't manage my fund properly. Though I never took money from other people to do gamble. But those days are gone. I took a break from gambling for few months (at the first quarter of 2020) and after that I gained control over my gambling habit. No one helped me to get out of this situation, I myself controlled it and nowadays I have fun from gambling.
It's good that you are out of the problem now and even better is that you didn't require any help from someone else either.

I had a similar story back in the day when Primedice was the only betting site, I have to admit that I was quite addicted and would continue playing for extended periods without realizing that I am missing out on important tasks in real life. I used to skip my office and would make some excuse to my boss about not being able to attend meetings. But this was only until one day I lost a massive amount and thankfully that turned out to be the turning point for me and I haven't gambled too much since then at all. I gamble occasionally but I know what I am doing, and is meant for fun most importantly now.
2711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe with bitcoin? on: April 16, 2021, 04:54:47 PM
Today we are experiencing a virus and that is the coronavirus or the NCov19 that is becoming pandemic immediately in just a single week and today there are a lot of people still going outside even there is a quarantine. The reason why? They need to go outside just to buy foods and things they need and also pay their bills they are prone to the virus also the virus can now be attached to the tangible things like money if they are already infected and touch the money with the virus it is rapidly spreading immediately.
Throughout the pandemic lockdown none of the online companies that we have here in my country added bitcoin as an option for making payment online on their website, and it would have been really good if they did that so that those of us likes and are making use of bitcoin can use it to make payments on their site.

The options we had on most of the sites were usually debit card options and USSD, and other options like that, and nothing about cryptocurrency. I wasn’t able to make payments using the coins I had in my wallet and the only thing I can do with it is just to be making peer to peer transactions and nothing much.
2712  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin marketcaps might hit $1 Quad. as Coinbase is listed on Nasdaq on: April 15, 2021, 11:19:07 PM
Hmmm Roll Eyes you’re kind of making it seem like without all these things that we are not going to keep moving. Whether there are such things happening or not, the market will always continue with its growth, what these things are doing is that they are fastening the speed at which we are moving to that level you’re talking about. But whether they are happening or not, the community will keep on growing and we are going to get to that level no matter what.

It is clear that we expect the price of Bitcoin to continue to rise and fiat to devalue but 30 years is so many years that making predictions seems to me like playing fortune teller with a crystal ball.
And nobody can make that prediction for you, no one can do it and tell you when it’s going to happen. The thing is that we should always appreciate how far the community have gotten, and we shouldn’t be letting some things like this to bother us too much.
2713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 15, 2021, 06:24:29 AM
Do you have any Facebook page or in any kind of social media that has someone who gives you a warning when you trade or not? I have been in many Facebook groups but its not what I am looking for.
Why you need any social group to warn you; I by here itself warn you NOT TO TRADE because when you're not good at predicting market fluctuations like when you need to enter and when you need to exit; then it would be much better investing only on bitcoin with the long-term planning to enjoy easy profits. Definitely trading is not for you people who are not interested in learning technical analysis.

When you are depending on someone else for your trading decisions then definitely one day or other you will get failed because no one could care about you more than like you do. So, just believe in yourself and be wise by becoming an investor.
2714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'The Simpsons' know who Satoshi Nakamoto is! on: April 13, 2021, 09:09:24 AM
In one scene in a episode I don't know which season it shows a crypto holder buying a jet ski with a device that looks like a ledger nano or hardware wallet or whatever. The crypto holder must be rich to walk in a shop and buy his own jet ski lol.

But in that episode the producers wrote a message on screen saying they know who Satoshi Nakamoto is  Shocked

I believe in a future episode they will reveal who Satoshi is when Btc at its price peak or something, who knows?
Very funny bro Cheesy that’s just a joke there is nothing like them knowing about who Satoshi Nakamoto is, they are just playing and trying to raise people’s expectations. They don’t know who Satoshi is, and right now I don’t think that there is anyone that really knows who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is, I believe that he was able to cover up his tracks pretty good so that no one will get to know who he is unless he decides to reveal himself.

Even those that he worked with claimed they never saw him, and that’s because he never wanted any of them to know him and only communicated with them online only.
2715  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: April 12, 2021, 04:09:16 PM
Dices are boring, slots are great  Tongue . If you want better suspense then slots are way better but dice are faster if you want to grind chips
I think that's fine with me. I mean I like slots, I like dice, I like poker, I like sports betting. I do not get why people think that you have to choose from them, if you are a person who can stop himself from gambling too much, you could gamble on many different games. Slots are not really that complicated, you do hope to get many different things and 3 scatters for bonus and all that but you do nothing to get there, it is all about luck, I feel like that works for other games as well.

I personally do not gamble to win money, I gamble to have fun, and most of the time I have to accept that winning means fun, but if I end up losing 100 times and win 1 time and that 1 time is a huge amount, even if I do not break even that would still be a cool gaming for me. Bet 1 dollars for 100 times and lose them all, then won 90 dollars on the next bet? That's good enough for me even though I lost money.
2716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous a red flag? on: April 12, 2021, 03:08:24 PM
I'm doing a research on a new project right now and I see that the team decide to go anonymous, is staying anonymous a red flag for newbies?

That’s always a huge red flag for me, I don’t invest in projects that the devs are anonymous and trying to tell something to me lol, that would be stupid, I don’t care if it’s cryptocurrency, if you’re going to be selling anything to me I should at least know who you are and your social media pages to verify your claims of who you are before I think of whether I should be investing in that project that you’re trying to market to me.

Of course I have seen projects that are anonymous and became successful, but few of them, and scammers are now just trying to take advantage of that being anonymous of a thing to scam everybody and get away with it. So if you really care about your money and you don’t want to lose it, then I suggest you leave that project , there are so many other projects that are in the market.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is this bull run going to be over? on: April 11, 2021, 06:28:21 PM
As long as there is still a lot of positive news emerging and also before the Bitcoin price experiences a deep correction,  there is no need to worry about the bull run going to be over. I am still optimistic that the bull run will continue, so I have no plans to sell my Bitcoin at the moment.
Indeed I cannot know the future, because I am not a fortune teller. But I can predict from Bitcoin price movements in the market and also from the many articles I have read. And I haven't found anything that will end the bull run, so I conclude that the bull run will not end any time soon.
When bitcoin goes up, altcoin prices go up in usdt, but they usually either move slightly higher or stay same or even drop in bitcoin pair and that means there is one more step for them to go higher, and that is what we are seeing right now, because bitcoin stays around the same price but alts go up in bitcoin price and that is what I think would be the real alt season and we are at the start of that, I think things could double from here before we can say alt season is over and time for bitcoin to take over again and go up.

The real game changer will be when institutional contribution happens to altcoins, there is really a low amount towards ethereum but that's about it, and that is why I can't really stress enough how important it will be when the real change comes when those companies start to invest their big amount of money into altcoins.
2718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin get back to 60K this week? on: April 11, 2021, 04:24:48 PM
Bitcoin just reached $60k recently and people are eyeing for Bitcoin to reach a new ATH again within the month. But I feel like it’s backing up its price again, but I hope to it won’t dump to like half of its current value now. People might panic and would for sure sell most of their assets, good thing for some so they are able to buy back again Bitcoin at a lower price; bad for some and for those who bought Bitcoin at around $40-$50k if it’ll really dump half its value now.
I think it is bad for everyone, I understand that there could be some people who hope for buying it low and getting richer when it goes up. However when a crash happens and it drops there are two type of situations that doesn't help people who want it to go down so they can buy cheaper. One of them is the fact that when there is a big crash it takes time for it to go back, remember how we were 20k and then dropped to 3k and when it reached back to 20k that was like 3+ years later, and that is why it is not easy to buy at the bottom and waiting.

Secondly many people who say they will buy if it crashes ends up seeing bitcoin as a dangerous thing when it starts to drop that much, I mean there is no way to know what they will think, if you see bitcoin going from 60k to 10k instead of buying at cheap, you may fear and get scared and decide not to buy.
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 11, 2021, 03:58:17 PM
It is going to be a difficult game to predict who will come out on top as that can go either way.
The Spurs failed to beat their upcoming rivals last two times at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but will count on their good home form. But Manchester United has been in better momentum, and they are very hard to beat while they  are playing away from home and I expect from them to remain undefeated at the away grounds. I think that we wouldn't see lot of goals in this match United tend to keep it low scoring when facing big teams this season in the Epl while Mourinho is expected to use his tactics and park the bus.
Yeah, I just do not see how United could close the difference, even if they win both extra games, they would be 66 points whereas City is 74 points, and there aren't really that many games left, I think this would be just a way for them to stay at the second spot and that's it.

The real deal here is that Liverpool had a horrible horrible horrible season and at one point people were talking about (including me) that maybe they would miss the whole european competitions if they keep this up, thanks to their luck other teams lost some games and now they are fifth and it looks like they could even go higher and that is going to end up not being that bad at all. I can't really say where and how it will happen, but I can easily say that Liverpool will get another win when chelsea loses or gets a tie and they will move up, they are prime to go higher for sure.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 11, 2021, 01:35:47 PM
If you are a regular gambler, I suggest you to use other eth wallets or at least play with other coins with cheaper fee.
That must be the "practical solution" for the current situation. I have long back switched to TRX for gambling and trust wallet sometimes charges me zero fee to my trons and sometimes in cents (when moving TRX worth of $200 and above) but never asked in dollars. Honestly TRX seems like a good replacement for the people who loved dogecoins for gambling and cheaper transactions.

unless you want to wait for 3 years to process your withdrawals, you can use some of the other coins such as XRP or LTC for your withdrawals.
Not a joke; I agree. You simply portrayed the trend of big fee frustrations. I guess most crypto gambling houses accept LTC and your concern of less volatility, I agree LTC must be a good choice. I use TRX but some occasions I bought TRX for 150 sat but when I am gambling with them they were worth less than 100 sat (but right now prices bounced back to 200 sat from 88 in less than 2 weeks of time).
