2701  Economy / Economics / Re: How Flexible Are You With Pricing Options? on: August 25, 2022, 09:04:58 AM
Any buyer will always lower the price, and this price is unlikely to suit the seller. Therefore, there are different markets for goods. In my country, the central markets are always more expensive, and the prices for goods there suit buyers since the stratum of the population itself is better off.
But exactly the same goods can be purchased at a different price if you go away from the center of the country. Those who are not satisfied with one price can always afford lower prices with just some effort.
But all the same, buyers' demands will aim at lowering prices simply for the sake of profit.
2702  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clipboard Virus on: August 25, 2022, 07:13:47 AM
The OP is interested in cryptocurrencies, and at the same time does not know how to install operating systems. For me, this is nonsense. How can you trust your computer in our time to anyone at all? Master or friend, father or mother. If you're worried about security, just don't trust anyone.
Drop everything and learn how to install Windows, and maybe Linux. The wizard will easily install a licensed Windows for you, according to him, but in the same way, he will install a keylogger for you and will monitor and log your every word. Learn to monitor the task manager, what is running on your computer, regularly watch startup, there can be many such trifles. Sometimes antivirus can skip malware as hackers advance in their knowledge. You also have to keep up with the times. Constantly learn about new dangers.
2703  Other / Meta / Re: Why here people dont want to hear truth ? on: August 25, 2022, 06:41:37 AM
It is rather unwise to speak of the truth in our time. Today, there are no clear concepts like "yes" and "no". For each person there is only one truth, depending on the vision of this truth or untruth. You shouldn't go far. Just take a look at the media. Does it really happen there? I doubt. Any information that a person perceives positively for himself is his truth. But in the same way, the same information is perceived by another person who will deny it.
True, justice and all other moral concepts in today's life do not exist as a single irrefutable definition.
2704  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need Community Feedback About Exposing Old Accounts on: August 24, 2022, 09:31:14 AM

They deserve a neutral tag for not earning 100 merits or for not ranking up? I'm scared of your judgement though.
If you were theymos, you could shut down the forum for not receiving a merit score for one month.

Why not? Well, let's figure it out. You and the purchased account are applying for a place in the company's signature. But the rank of the purchased account is higher than yours. And they accept him simply by skimming through his latest posts. But you are not accepted, because there are no more places. Then you go to ask why it happened. And you discover for yourself that the account is not so good; there are many inconsistencies in the languages, presence on the forum, change of mail, password, and language, and in general, it is clear that the account has changed its owner.
Are you swallowing injustice and waiting for the next chance? And the scammer, who just bought an account, walks around and boldly declares to everyone that he was ill, that his dad and grandfather died, that he learned five languages and other lies.
But at the same time, he personally does not deceive anyone financially.
Is everyone ready to ignore it? I doubt. If someone does not mark such cases with a negative tag, there will be those who still do everything right.
2705  Economy / Reputation / Re: CPNpr Changed Hands? on: August 24, 2022, 09:04:02 AM

Hello sir, This account of mine belonged to my grandfather, Because his age, he does not use this account anymore.  The account was inactive for about a year.
A few days ago he gave me his account. Now  I am the owner of this account.  And that why I have  changed the mail of this account.  I applied for signature campaign with my account.  Later I see that my account has got reported.
So I request you to remove my negative feed back.

Are you so dumb that when you see negative reviews, you still hope that someone will believe you? I wonder why you are so stubborn in your lies and stupid that you cannot honestly live on the forum?
After all, check out the 2015 reviews. I think your "grandfather" was a swindler, according to your "truth" ?
Also, your real grandfather would be upset by your behavior.
2706  Economy / Reputation / Re: tomos81 Changed Hands? on: August 24, 2022, 08:24:24 AM
He just wrote me two PMs, with the same content, within five minutes of each other.

I won't reproduce the PMs here, but he basically says he is the same person and has lost access to the address to sign the message with.

Deep down I feel a little sorry for him.

But we see a lot of cases on the forum of wanting to take the fast track to make money, and that's not how things are done.

In this forum you can earn money by being a decent person, without cheating, without buying accounts. There are countless examples of this.

This is what account buyers are counting on. While you feel sorry for him, he continues to writhe like a "snake in a pan" and use all methods, from impudence to humiliation.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5404539.msg60805776#msg60805776

In fact, using all methods costs them nothing. Some particularly compassionate members of this forum argue by defending purchased accounts as accounts that do no harm to anyone as long as they are not involved in financial transactions. But on the other hand, we can see how real users work diligently to increase their rank. Why should we pity these liars?
2707  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Investigation] Fighting The Account Mafia on: August 23, 2022, 08:07:44 AM
I use multiple languages, so will this account have multiple owners? I humble request you to remove my negative feedback and give me a chance to be active and cooperative on the forum regularly.

I don't think it will benefit the forum. This is a very bad idea. If you just look at those "useful" posts that have been deleted.

In addition, I gave you the wallet addresses that were in the history of your posts. You can sign a message from any of them.
There is no problem with posting in different languages, but something with every move in all your languages is very "lame."

Tesla initially bought $1.5 billion worth of bitcoins and recently said they hadn't sold Dogecoin. Overall, the company's account came with $936 million.Tesla did not specify how many Bitcoins it had initially bought or how many has it sold now, but Elon Musk last year had hinted that the company may have invested in 42,000 Bitcoins. The company even started accepting payments in Bitcoin for a brief period, before discontinuing it, citing environmental concerns. I see a loss here, see what official statement comes from Tesla company

https://www.news18.com/news/business/cryptocurrency/tesla-sells-75-of-its-bitcoin-holdings-elon-musk-says-no-dogecoin-sold-by-company-5594401.html

Online publication Axios estimated the monetary impact of the bitcoin crash at $250 billion. But this conjecture reflects the utility for cryptocurrencies and a misunderstood understanding of the markets. There is already substantial investment in the blockchain, the underlying technology of bitcoin. Furthermore, the price movement of bitcoin suggests that it is emerging as a store of value. Cryptocurrencies are also useful as a means of exchanging value within a closed ecosystem.

That said, it will be some time before their utility is realized within mainstream applications. If bitcoin falls, I'm curious how much the price will fall because it will obviously make many people panic and sell their bitcoins fast. The current rise in prices for most cryptocurrencies is mostly the result of a domino effect from bitcoin’s surge. It is quite likely that a bitcoin price crash will result in a correction in their prices as well. It is also certain that the vast majority of cryptocurrencies that populate the current listings will disappear. Only digital currencies that have defined business models and clear utility within mainstream society will survive a crash.

2711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: In your opinion is this the end for Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency? on: August 22, 2022, 07:02:10 AM
You came to the forum 10 months later to ask us if bitcoin is dying. Where do such sentiments come from? Your account is old enough to say you didn't see lower prices when bitcoin fell.
Whenever someone claims that bitcoin is dying, you will get thousands of replies against it. And each time falling, bitcoin will add the number of people who still change their positions and buy on the fall.
You have an OP, there is still a chance to join the ranks of holders.
2712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to recover compromised account? on: August 22, 2022, 06:39:51 AM

I think the next thing he needs is to bring it to the meta section to get more suggestions or if he already send these sign message to the recovery email then he needs to wait to check if that address is confirmed he owns that account.

It's all already there. He created themes wherever it could be done.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5410156.0

Another thing is that he will no longer be able to improve the situation with his loss.
I have no doubt that the deal was with a scammer, and if you just track how many accounts belonged to the "seller", then believing in his innocence is simply illogical. I showed the first accounts associated with the seller's account, and they have negative tags.

This is wonderful news, unless I am missing something: the first country having its own currency (CFA) and still adopting Bitcoin.
Shame that it's a country with still ongoing civil war. It will give ammo to various naysayers.

Are the rules strict? Heh. And what did you want?
At first, you did not open your personal account. And they used someone else.
After that, you wrote word for word a welcome post, with your admission that this is not your account in two topics. This was written both on the topic of bitcoins and of altcoins.
I reported a duplicate post. Nothing more. Nobody tried to bite you, girl. You came to the forum, but he did not come to you, so you should read the simple rules, no more.

2715  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need Community Feedback About Exposing Old Accounts on: August 21, 2022, 06:14:08 PM
If you look at the signature of a company such as Stake, then there are similar accounts that can be found through one. What's the point? If the manager accepts such accounts for his company, then everything suits him. In addition, you are wasting your time and that of the DT, as they will check on their own. And in the end, even by proving the change of hands, you achieve a neutral tag. For those accounts who bought, stole, or something else, getting a neutral tag does not play any role.
But if you find such accounts that participate in signature companies with more than one account, then you can catch them and punish them with a negative tag. This, if you are attracted to this type of activity, is more interesting fishing.

By the way, you can reveal your account. Follow the speech. Cheesy
2716  Economy / Economics / Re: Effect Of Delayed Gratification On Investment Outcome. on: August 20, 2022, 05:37:22 PM
The realities of today's life and the realities of today's economy in all countries say that it is simply necessary to put aside all our pleasures for a while and prepare for a life without the pleasures that we allowed ourselves a year ago.
And today, if anyone has the opportunity, the right step will be to think about tomorrow. Today has already passed. Feed the family, clothe and warm the children, and enjoy life slowly.
And it is investments that will help us (at least I want to believe) that we are acting correctly.
2717  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What the pressure for success comes with on: August 20, 2022, 05:04:10 PM
Anyone who expects that the forum owes them something will undoubtedly be offended. Many, having seen enough YouTubers, who in 2017 churned out batches of videos about how they managed to get rich with the help of the forum, are still hoping for such a freebie. Although, to be honest, even then there was more boasting than actually successful "rich people".
But smart people just can't wake up without coffee and reading the forum. For many, this forum has become part of their routine. You can also add to all those offended after that, wasting time in the hope of making quick money, they harmed only themselves.
Reading the forum can not be called a waste of time. This is the future, and the better and sooner we are prepared for it, the more successful our tomorrow can be.
2718  Other / Meta / Re: Merited Banned Account on: August 20, 2022, 03:47:50 PM
I will disappoint you. This account has not created a single quality post. And perhaps you will be very upset that even the post that seemed to you of high quality was not written by him personally. Therefore, just get used to the fact that not all people see plagiarism and rush to check it. Because of this, such posts are marked with merit.
But you don't have to worry that your posts will be invaluable at a time when such bad guys, just by copying, earn merit faster than everyone else. Enough merits for everyone.
As you can see, this account regrets its actions. I think that he will deserve his ban with dignity, and he will realize that, in fact, he only deceived himself.
2719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Somewhere in Nigeria, Bitcoin's touching lives on: August 19, 2022, 01:26:49 PM
Needless to say that the community is going to enjoy the 'clean water' provided by this project, but what i am not so sure is if they will be interested in the network that those behind this project are trying to promote and bring the knowledge of to their doorsteps, i feel that is our biggest problem concerning adoption in rural African communities, they have many problems with daily livelihood, and they want it solved and that is that, but can they think about 'freedom with bitcoin', i don't think so.

Man, they don't even have clean water to drink. Should we even talk about 'freedom with Bitcoin' in such a setting? 'Freedom with Bitcoin' is not the most important thing in life. In a poor small village in rural Africa, what does 'freedom with Bitcoin' mean? It's nothing. It's the least that they actually need. They need the most basic of needs. First things first. 'Freedom with Bitcoin' may be important but it can't quench a thirsting kid.

It's a pretty scary problem when we know that somewhere in the world, people are suffering from water shortages. The most essential things in life are water and food. I immediately want to compare the problems of those people who complain that their half-new car or phone is becoming unbranded. The injustice of the world is cruel.
But as you say, other survival problems are important for these people. But knowledge and interest do not require money. The first step is to just learn. General education has never harmed anyone. And maybe one day, everyone will have one or another chance to feel and use bitcoin in their lives on their own.
After all, it often happens that "when the student is ready, the teacher comes himself."
2720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Touching the life of random poor kids with all my 3wks campaign BTC on: August 19, 2022, 12:55:20 PM
I also want to express my gratitude to the OP. Seeing smiles on the faces of children is the greatest happiness. And if you, OP, bring those smiles to them, they will definitely come back to you in the future. The only person who is never guilty of being poor is a child. Giving them a good mood, giving them direction that the world is not so cruel and there are ways to change their future, will be a good motivation for these children, and maybe those around them. I have great respect for these people, and I understand how many difficulties they have to overcome. And I really hope that the knowledge of bitcoin and the possibility of using it will somehow improve the lives of these people, and indeed of any people who are currently praying not only for their wealth but about how to let their children survive.
