2701  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: I will sell 2 Twitter accounts (10k+ subs) on: November 10, 2022, 10:30:18 PM
I will sell 2 Twitter accounts (10k+ subs)
Origin: Personal

https://twitter.com/CryptoCoinsVip - 33$
https://twitter.com/CryptoMillerS - 25$

Payment by cryptocurrency or Payeer

My store in Telegram, where there are more Twitter accounts - https://t.me/storeaccountvip

Write in a telegram for a purchase - https://t.me/lil17_th

both accounts you offer here are more than suspicious. They have 16k+ and 10k+ followers while zero or six followers and 30-40 re-tweets per account.
obviously, all previous tweets have been deleted, as well as a massive unfollow. It seems to me that the accounts are hacked, if they are not, then they are completely fake with bot followers and are certainly worthless.

I would like to see any tweets made by these accounts and their activity, likes, retweets, or comment.

edit: almost forget, your trust page just confirms my suspicions about the reliability of your offer.
2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius, Terra, FTX Crash All Are Prove That Bitcoin Is The Only Trusted Crypto on: November 10, 2022, 08:25:45 PM
Celsius(CEL), Terra(LUNA) And more recently, FTX(FTT) Crash, What Lesson Are We Being Taught?

I would add Mt.Gox to this list as one of the more serious breakdowns in the crypto world. but it is most closely related to Bitcoin, not as the stability of the currency, but the most damaged are the bitcoin holders at that time.
maybe it would be better to reformulate to decentralised vs. centralised.

And yes, I completely agree with you about trusting altcoins.
2703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TOKPIE Exchange - scam on: November 10, 2022, 08:06:22 PM
Thanks, I'll try to fill out the on CG form myself. But I do not understand, if my token is not traded on some CEX and it has no volumes on DEX (but it listed there), it will not be able to get to CG? Nevertheless, there are a lot of scam-projects on CG. It turns out that scammers (like Tokpie) are deceiving other scammers (who use Tokpie) with the help of scammers (in CG)? Smiley

it seems like you started from the wrong side. You want to be listed on CG first, and only then do you look for the possibility of an exchange. it seems to me that the reverse is necessary.
creating a token is the easiest thing today, everything that comes later requires much more specific work. listing on the exchange for all new tokens is a big problem and that's what exchanges like Tokpie and similar use. after all, you still need to achieve a constant daily trading volume which is very difficult to achieve (Tokpie offers artificial trading volume).
2704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FTX Scam : Unable to withdraw on: November 10, 2022, 07:56:36 PM
Quite a mess for those who had their money there.
I assume the USDT freezing was issued by law enforcement in order to prevent a possible exit scam or someone running away with what is left?

Also, I have seen some speculation around social media that this is the work of some hedge fund, looking to make big money by shorting FTT, Bitcoin and even Tether (?).

If someone could please update the status of the withdrawals from FTX, it would be very appreciated I have no idea these people actually have a plan or are actively trying to run away from all this.

on their page, there is this warning that withdrawal is not possible and that they clearly suggest not to make any deposit on FTX. supposedly they should have made a swap option for holders of TRX and a few more tokens, I haven't seen anywhere whether this has worked successfully.

2705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many chickens own BTC. Don't be a chicken, HODL! BE A LION. on: November 10, 2022, 04:42:00 PM
This is the real issue BTC is facing. Chickens get afraid and sell even if they lose their money. They don't even understand how crypto works.

I've never sold a satoshi since 2013. I know BTC will rise back and one day will hit the 100k and beyond. In a way I'm glad this is happening, more strong hands and less chickens. HODL! Hoping to buy more if it gets down to 10k.

you should revise the title a bit, for example "Don't be a chicken, send your BTC to FTX exchange! BE A LION."
Why is everyone urged to advise others on what to do with their money?

Quote
Haven't even heard about FTX until now lol. This shows how panicked I am Grin

the fact that someone has not heard of FTX, does not mean that the problem does not occur. who's HODL on FTX exchange, it is understandable that he panics in proportion to how much value there.
with the current drama surrounding FTX, it is more of a problem that similar things happen often. From Mt.Gox through Celsius to FTX right now.
2706  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Three Big Lessons from CZ. on: November 09, 2022, 10:19:26 AM
Lesson for project owners from CZ
1. Never use a token you created as collateral
2. Don't borrow if you run a crypto business.
3. Don't use capital "efficiently". Have a large reserve

4. never let your direct competitor own a large share of your company's ownership

Quote
Binance has never used BNB for collateral, and we have never taken on debt. .

In this case, never say never. we don't know or can be sure about this statement.
2707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of not letting others know about your crypto holdings on: November 09, 2022, 10:12:56 AM
This story is not only applicable to crypto hold. it's a story about criminals who want someone's money, the form of the money doesn't matter.
what is interesting to me, is how the hell your acquaintance considered such people to be his friends. let's be clear, maybe that amount of 3BTC seems big to you, but it's certainly not big enough to risk prison. even if that amount is divided among several people, it is definitely not worth such a risk.
so, they weren't real friends, plus they weren't particularly smart either.
2708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 08, 2022, 11:17:11 PM
Losing money on investing is a frightening proposition. However, you can protect your money and reduce stress in a falling market by avoiding five common pitfalls made by crypto investors.

Panic
Putting in Emotional Efforts
Investing short-term
Overtrading
Mental Health

this sounds like it was written by someone who has never felt even close to such a potential situation.

Quote
Panic

if you have invested a large amount of money or at least a large percentage of personal savings, it is very difficult not to panic. you watch your capital disappear, but you are completely relaxed. Sounds weird, right?

Quote
Putting in Emotional Efforts

it is very difficult to turn off emotions if the current market has a bad effect on your finances.

Quote
Investing short-term & Overtrading

Sounds like gambling out of desperation to minimize loss. That was never a good solution.

Quote
Mental Health

I am not sure how Mental Health affects avoiding bear market mistakes.
2709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Reseter for GPU miners - a collection of $ for the project on: November 08, 2022, 09:18:58 PM
You can buy a wifi power plug for $5-$7 and reset / reboot from anywhere in the world from your phone.  This whole problem was solved years ago.  Ive had 45 rigs on them for years.  Look at Amazon/aliexpress for smart plugs.

This is not hard people.

So and i pay 20$ for a resetter for 16 rigs. i think i have the better deal Wink and smart plugs are no solution. i can reset, shutdown and start my rigs and if i want from all over the world - routing over your homerouter and dns service is no magic to have access to your farm from any place.
It's a pity that nobody is interested in my post again - but in a few weeks there will be threads like this again.

but if your router crashes, you won't have access to that resetter, right?
btw. he supports 16 rigs. Can you manage each of them separately, or is it 16 in bulk? do they have to be physically in the same place?

2711  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance intends to acquire FTX on: November 08, 2022, 07:37:41 PM
Let's hope that Binance doesn't pull the plug on the deal, otherwise FTX is finished.

As they say, FTX asked Binance for help cover the liquidity crunch
https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1590013613586411520?s=20&t=0yfwU2oLZpEaG8_BHcz3_g

therefore, in order to avoid another big crash, we will be satisfied because Binance is strengthening its dominance. I'm not sure if I should be happy with this turn of events.
2712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Notification Pop for Wallet domain name on your trustwallet is a Scam on: November 08, 2022, 01:43:42 PM
Another more likely scenario is that your friend are installing an unverified wallet or entering his seed phrase after getting lured to claim on what at the notification message.

Since op didn't mention anything else as to how this happened I think it was probably that. Being taken to a website that says you have 0 funds and inputting your nmemonic would do it - a notification wouldn't.

As well as installing dodgy software, if you've enabled too many in-browser notifications this could probably happen too. But your funds can't be taken without you signing a transaction or inputting your nmemonic (for most wallets).

I just received one of these notifications on my Android device. (things about the partnership with unstoppable)
it's my old device on which I deleted almost all apps (didn't install anything new for over a year). Also, the Trustwallet app is installed more than two years ago. I don't even use it much, but I haven't transferred it to a new device yet.
I skipped this notification, so I can't track it anymore.
2713  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: November 08, 2022, 11:57:59 AM

2714  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why it's not a good idea to leave your coins on any exchange on: November 08, 2022, 11:52:59 AM
you have not said anything new here, but as this is a tangible topic, I believe that the constant repetition that you should not hold funds on exchanges is not out of place.

I am sure you guys are aware about the commotion that's happening between Binance and FTX right now? Well this is a very good reason why it's not a smart idea to trust any exchanges even if they are the number 1 over other crypto exchanges.

Do not leave your coins on any exchanges all in the name of ' you trust them ' ,this is business, trust nobody, CZ is good today but that's today, we are all humans and change is constant in our lives.

If you have any fund of FTX it's better to withdraw, I heard the withdrawal was stopped but now it's open, be smart because the market can still go lower due to this commotion.

You are obviously biased because in this case you only accepted what CZ had to say, and you actually take care only of funds on FTX.
why do you think CZ is good today? they are the biggest manipulators of the crypto market and it is not good at all if they help in the collapse of the nearest competitor.

I don't want to defend FTX here, but Binance currently has too much power, especially for a decentralized system like Bitcoin.
2715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RebelMiners.com Polygon Matic Mining ( ERC20) on: November 08, 2022, 11:40:29 AM
yes i know. its a ponzi.  well  70% of crypto run in phonzi ehehehe .. do you agree? hehehe

you know it's a Ponzi, but you still started it and promote it here. Even if your percentage is correct, why didn't you stand aside from this 30% and start an honest service?
now you are negatively flagged and you have a flag on this thread, I hope enough that no one interferes with your business.
Do you agree? hehehe
2716  Economy / Services / Re: BitSwapNow.com Review Campaign on: November 08, 2022, 10:43:59 AM
Afterwards i tried to interact with window to exchange crypto. While there's warning about minimum trading, there's no warning about maximum amount. It's not that surprising though since few similar have same problem[2]. At very least, there should be warning the website might not able to completely process big exchange.

It is for coin exchange.
If you try to buy/sell, there is a limit for the maximum amount, the notification is shown only when the amount is exceeded (at the moment it is 0.1004637 BTC)

2717  Economy / Services / Re: BitSwapNow Review Campaign on: November 07, 2022, 03:40:02 PM
He uses the Changenow widget added through iFrame on the WordPress site. Nothing is illegal because they Changenow consciously allowed it. anyone can put it on their site or page. Check here https://changenow.io/embeds/widget
but that can open another problem over time.

I realize that it's not illegal but when both the widget and home page look similar, some people might see it that way. I think it'd be wiser to change the frontend a bit.

Yes, you're right. it can seem confusing.
if it doesn't change the appearance he can write somewhere that he uses an external service for that. taking some affiliate percentage is quite ok. but still, they suggest that it be evaluated on Trustpilot, although it has no influence on the exchange service itself.
as I said in the previous post, this can be like gathering a positive reputation by using someone's service to later perform with his own untested service with fake feedback.
2718  Economy / Services / Re: BitSwapNow Review Campaign on: November 07, 2022, 03:09:04 PM
OP, you need to make a final decision, what will be the main topic of your page?
is it an exchanger or a blog site, price ticker...? first, this scrolling bar with the current prices of some tokens and coins is entirely useless and tiring. has anyone done an analysis, are there any people who use it and want to see it?

Next, someone is already writing this, but again why do you have news on your front page if you are focused on coin exchange? you can have a blog section if you want to improve SEO for your site, but news that has already been published elsewhere will not contribute to a better ranking of your site.

finally, since you are now using the Changenow widget, if you gain confidence over time, do you plan to switch to your own service? it could be complicated because you will gain your trust using someone else service, not yours. the possibility of abuse opens up here.

- The site is very similar to Changenow and I'm guessing you're using their API and you're one of their partners? You should probably change the site's design, this can be seen as a phishing attempt.

2719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin a forgotten cryptocurrency? on: November 07, 2022, 01:35:06 PM
What do you think about LTC? Will it die soon? Or will it last? Do you think it'll go sky-high sometime in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Litecoin has "lost" mass popularity only for the reason that it is not an overly volatile coin. as you can see, you yourself are interested in whether it has the capacity for "sky-high".
After a long time, it has certainly proven to be a confidential and reliable coin. It does not offer excessive profits, but certainly not large losses. And in the end, it is almost mandatory on every exchange. Because of this, the low withdrawal fee and the speed of the transaction, it is excellent for moving within the account on different platforms. It is certainly not a dead coin, nor will it be.
2720  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Canaan scammed me for 6000$+ on: November 07, 2022, 12:40:13 PM
As far as I'm concerned, case closed. Thank you for being professional about this.

Nice to hear everything ended well. Might want to create a flag for CanaanScammers so new users that find this thread see a red banner on top of the page saying:

"Warning: One or more bitcointalk.org users have reported that they strongly believe that the creator of this topic is a scammer. (Check their trust page to see the detailed trust ratings.) While the bitcointalk.org administration does not verify such claims, you should proceed with extreme caution."

I think this scammer already abandoned his account. I am glad the truth came to light.

but in an online search, "Canaan scammed me for 6000$+" will come up as a result at some point. for those who did not participate in the discussion or are too lazy to read the whole thread maybe that will be enough so that they don't decide to buy in the Canaan Online Shop.
it is necessary to put a red flag on the OP account.
