Their website also mentions that they have S5 units for $199. That sounds too good to be true to me....

They are also doing buy two get one free, just like tins of soup.

Back in the day it was all about investing in games , like when we invested in just-dice or direct or any other place where suddenly we were owners of the casino with our investments.

Now everywhere we look there is a ponzi game , do you guys even know what a ponzi is? Why would anyone proudly say a ponzi game? Hopefully we will get the good old days back so we can invest in trustworthy casinos to become the bank against players.

Nowadays HYIPs (real Ponzi schemes hidden behind fake investments) are more profitable than stocks, just to remind you  Grin

Absolute bullshit.
Profitable for who? The operator?

I was talking about investors my boy, admins usually earn 10x.
With $5k you can earn up to $2k a month, safely  Smiley

I'm not your boy, asshole.
And according to my way of living, getting money by deliberately lying is not 'earning', it's stealing.
So carry on, tell us about how profitable stealing is.

Do you know what the biggest giveaway is that they are not even a British-run scam operation?

Buy it now for $2.299

In the UK a comma is used to denote the thousands in a number, not a decimal point.

I doubt they're British or us. It's a very organized crime, so they know how to hide their tracks.

i wouldnt go as far as to call it organized crime, but rather an experienced scammer who knows how to hide his tracks well enough.

More like disorganised crime. Some of the things they do baffle me. It's like someone's thrown a bundle of money at a kid and said "Go on, show us what you can do."
2706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2015, 10:24:49 PM
Trading between btc/usd market isn't a big problem.
Everyone can do so.
It's just simple buy low and sell high.

This is meaningless, stupid and misleading.
2707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would like to know if anyone has heard of BitClub Network on: August 01, 2015, 09:22:14 PM
And just when my cynic buttons are being pressed, along comes this

Clubcoin POS, where POS doesn't mean Proof of Stake, more Piece of Shit

Quote
BitClub Network is excited to announce the Pre-Launch and Pre-Mining for a new Proof-of-stake coin called ClubCoin!

This coin will be issued to all BitClub members for FREE and will become an accepted currency of BitClub Network.

There are many ways to earn ClubCoin and as a member of BitClub you will have the opportunity to buy it, sell it, trade it, exchange it, or use it within BitClub Network for products and services.

This from http://behindmlm.com/companies/bitclub-network-out-of-funds-clubcoin-announced/ the MLM scam site that I quoted in the previous thread and drew a touchy resonse from BCN.

Huge Red Flag.
2708  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would like to know if anyone has heard of BitClub Network on: August 01, 2015, 08:38:01 PM
tmfp, thanks for the information. I noticerd a few days ago that I could order the card but  when I clicked on the link this is the message that comes up

*****Debit Card Batch #1 Sold Out*****
More Available Mid/Late August

Debit Cards - Batch #1 is SOLD OUT

My Edit:
TOO MANY WORDS TO BE BELIEVABLE. A regular failing of MLM style promotion.

So what's your time to break even on your $500, at current rate of progress?
Or is that $599 including the sign up fee?

EDIT

And shit like this from a shill site http://bitclub777.com/sample-page/fa/

BitClub has s a REAL opportunity for members to purchase mining equipment and various mining contracts that are used in mining for dozens of Digital Currencies (also called Scrypt Mining). We have created our own proprietary software that controls scrypt mining hardware and we are able to mine for the most profitable coin and then convert to Bitcoin instantly.

really pushes my cynic buttons.

2709  Economy / Reputation / Re: Warning for Manyproof on: August 01, 2015, 07:45:41 PM
Candystripes left negative trust with the comment

"Came to this forum to loan-scam. DO NOT deal with."

on the very day, back in 2014, that the ManyProofs account was opened.

What do they say, it takes one to know one?
 Cheesy

Everyone involved in this crap, borrowers and lender, deserves to be painted red.
2710  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would like to know if anyone has heard of BitClub Network on: August 01, 2015, 07:27:18 PM
The blockchain never lies, they say.

BCN appears to have its roots in the MLM industry as I pointed out in this old thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762075.20

I researched it a bit and came away with the distinct impression that it was a scam run by pros, but I have a vehement dislike for "networkers" and their parasitic MLM industry.
Now they are providing many of the proofs that "legit" cloud miners don't, including vids and pool, there's certainly no reason why you shouldn't invest if you feel comfortable with it, but as soon as I see this sort of crap, I don't care what the blockchain says, I run a mile

https://bitclubnetwork.com/compensation.html

Good Luck, let us know what happens and FFS get your stake money back out as soon as you ROI.

This is a bit strange too

I am sitting in the hospital awaiting open heart surgery. I need this or I will die. The hospital requires 0.075 more BTC before they will operate.

Can someone help?

I will repay 0.1btc back in a week. You can trust me because this is a great interest rate.

Send urgently to: 12ugXbnzthJ27qtdkQwV8qcjNj7G31hUCL

Very funny.
The real joke will be when it happens to you for real, and you look back at today and think "What a cunt I was!".
2712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CloudThink.IO removed management pictures after being caught with stealing on: July 31, 2015, 08:14:04 AM

As far as I'm concerned any member with Hero or Legendary status who is willing to promote these scams should be hit hard with -ve Trust.

Although I agree completely with the sentiment, there's two problems with that
1) The actual criteria for leaving neg is "I strongly believe this person is a scammer". Although whoring your rep to all and sundry for some dust is unsavoury, does it qualify?
2) Retaliation from senior members who have usually picked up +ve trust along the way would wreck your trust and cred.
2713  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [non-ponzi] crowd mining (from legit branches) on: July 30, 2015, 04:31:38 PM
I tried it and it was working very well, I dont know what about now, but it was not scam, maybe it is just dead ponzi now. But you can try it.

Stop spamming your copy paste quotes for sig count.

Slightly off topic, but the site's internal search system seems to be behaving strangely for me the last couple of days, unrelated returns.

Shit. I thought this website was legit and was on their affiliate campaigns. I was just about to invest 6- month investment program until i reached this thread from reddit. But many have confirmed that they pay for their campaigns. Is cloudthink a scam, i was just about to invest for 6- month package

Run far far away

Atleast i realised now. Unless someone who already invested in it says its genuine, i am not going to invest

That's sensible, but you also have to verify that the "someone" is genuine too.
There are currently about 20 people on here who got given free "investment packages" (another big red flag) and are receiving about a dollar a day on condition that they post about it.
Other than that nothing, nada, zilch.

This thread is a collection of reasons why many of us think CT is not what it claims to be.
They are many and varied:

No proof of mining
Vague claims of self generated electricity and self developed miners
Continual clumsy attempts at faking authenticity
Use of shill accounts and paid to post media campaigns
A business address which knows them not
Mining equipment supposedly for sale at very low prices (currently buy two S5's, get one free, =$133 each)
Heavy coupon discounting on "investment packages"
Intermittent payments to promoters
Various other unsustainable claims and red flags

Read it and decide whether, on the balance of probabilities, you think your money would be safe with them.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: July 29, 2015, 06:28:17 PM
Even with a legit internet based business there are so much FUD spreding morons creating problems that the owner of the business might think to cash in and disappear instead of heaving a hard life Trying to do its best. It's not easy!

I've seen this argument used before, but don't know of any actual examples.
Most "FUD spreading morons" could be silenced quite quickly by logical answers to reasonable questions.

Hello from India,
i am new on this forum but i have been earning bitcoin from faucets over last year.
i have 0.022 BTC with me , i hear a lot of people saying to join campaign how can i do that , i have 0.022 BTC want to invest to get profit, please help me.

You could hook up with a bogus "Cloud miner and reseller" and pretend that you are a satisfied customer by posting a bunch of easily disprovable nonsense and then lock the thread, no doubt in exchange for some dust (and red ink).

Oh wait, you already did that

Nooooboooody cares. Baby, I love you. Thanks for 0.75 BTC, I will buy some bitches and porn for that Kiss

The Reddit claims of successful purchases were comprehensively exposed as shilling from bought accounts.
The only claim on here of delivery was full of shit, faked photos etc. and demolished and locked.

The supposed reason for the sales of mining equipment is that they have designed and built their own superior units. Yeah, right... Roll Eyes
