SMC will manage multiple funds, the stall is on which 2.0 platform works best and will offer solid DEX solutions.

There could be DAgger ASICs, as the difficulty is rising very fast. But I doubt it has anything to do with  Ethereum foundation.

EeFFFff er Rum

OK hear me out. They raised 60 million dollars in the ICO, and what did they deliver? Shitty, basic code without even a proper wallet, after months of delay. So where did that money go? To R&D/tapeout of Dagger Hashimoto ASIC miners.

Meanwhile, they claim to be moving to POS on X date to discourage any other ASIC development/competitors. Even IF POS goes live, it will be months/years later than they said it would.

This foundation has already proven they have zero integrity, so it definitely would not be beyond them. Such a high hashrate remaining on ETH despite ETC being more profitable during certain periods, and in the face of the many ETH scandals, lends even more weight to this IMO.

So, can anyone find any concrete flaws in this theory?

2710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does no one use the BitShares Exchange DEX? on: August 12, 2016, 05:39:10 PM

Because DEX trades tokens on the bitshares blockchain. People like to buy the blockchains actual token. There is a huge difference.

Liquidity is a the major problem,

after that it is still hard to tell if BTS is not pure BS ... it was build upon a mountains of lies or fraudulent misdirection ... but the Aces in the hole are a nice working demo, all the other vaporwares do not have this.

So old school  blockchains 1.0 actual coins on chains that the average G.I. joe can download are more accessible and less risky than a BS token.
2711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: PAYCOIN XPY Future | Development | Foundation | Roadmap | Community on: August 12, 2016, 05:22:53 PM
If you really love the name, just start paycoin 3.0 over from scratch.

Why on earth would you want to get involved in a coin where there are so many outstanding coins that are probably in the hands of known scumbags that can dump the coins on you if you ever make any progress?

I think the scum has long since dumped and checked out.  If they haven't then bravo for holding the bags, which makes them not arse holes, but idiots.

I would gladly participate in a revitalize program if PAYCON played leader ... cuz irony ... and it facilitates a dual finance/dev fund from the actual "Paycoin" network.

ps .. throw FAIL coin into the mix .. cuz .. even more funny  Cool

Dash the first Cryptocurrency with all of:
Proof of Work (Miners)
Proof of Service (Masternodes)
Proof of Shares (A crypto savings account)

yet nearly all coins can do this
Proof of Work reward Miners ... called staking for TALK
Proof of Service (Masternodes) ... call community sponsored payment to seednodes and B.E.
Proof of Shares (A crypto savings account) ... working on this concept ... sort of redundant for POS since shares equally fast lane to stake 'weight'.

BitShares is the underling technology
Obits distributes the revenue from the ventures related to OpenLedger
BitTeaser distributes revenue from the ad network

Revenues from Obits include transaction fees from OpenLedger, profits from Fun-Casino, etc, if you look into a few articles you should find the ventures related to OpenLedger.
I think a part of the revenues (about 20% or so) of BitTeaser will also go into Obits.
or am I wrong?

It is 10% actually, and we finally managed to come up with a video(fresh from production today) kind of closing the circle of how OBITs is defined as a future ecosystem of the recently defined decentralized conglomerate:  https://youtu.be/DC86cV4vXIU?list=PLkX0EYiQFfkbCv1UFu1Deza-P6zqC39c4

OpenLedger, maybe you managed to read the articcle in Forbes: http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogeraitken/2016/03/10/bitcoin-3-0-tech-bitshares-built-on-decentralized-conglomerate-platform-surges/#2396989439f8, the video connected to OpenLedger - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h44H_Sy7Pf4

Bitteaser and its asset BTSR was also in Forbes: http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogeraitken/2016/03/14/can-bitteasers-blockchain-ad-network-disrupt-pay-per-click-market/#6967d2f64e22 and its recent video created to visualize it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhPJEpcG71M

OBITS more times in Forbes, but here is perhaps the best: http://www.forbes.com/sites/rogeraitken/2015/11/19/bitcoin-crypto-exchange-launches-obits-currency-offering-stake-in-revenues/#606b1cf52fa5

addendum:

i like the fibre client, very well crafted, the specs might be off since the network looks to lock up unless +50 nodes are staking large shares, and it looks like the devs just dropped it hard, complete abandonment even the website is down.

the hope is that it might get some assistance from 'new' bagholders, just needs a few nodes and the b.e., has great market placement, and had aimed to be integral to the nxtSupernet ... plus low coin count ... which i happen to be a big fan of Wink
