2701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under 570 $ we go down again on: August 04, 2016, 04:34:41 PM

I see it as a steady climb upwards. It is $572 now and I see it going up by the end of the day to $580~ish again. It still is time to buy though before it does. Tongue
2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Bitfinex Hacked] So , learned the lesson ? on: August 04, 2016, 04:31:04 PM
Anyone got finexxed here?

Yeah those Cloud mining schemes are notorious to run off with your coins. That's for certain!:-[
2703  Other / Meta / What is wrong with Bitcointalk forum? on: August 04, 2016, 04:03:01 PM
The 502 error for the last 1 hour has been upsetting to say the least and rather frustrating. But has not been seen to this extent before. Could be from that rather long thread in the giveaway section! Tongue

But now getting an 500 internal Server error  Shocked

Does this mean to someone is attempting to hack into this forum?
2704  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ===►[Hot Sale]★Shdvb Buy Sell Exchange Bitcoins★[Paypal/Skrill/WMZ/Alipay+]===► on: August 04, 2016, 02:52:57 PM
Same thing happened when I did the same thing with another one of these sites that want you to buy gamergold or credits then do a paypal transaction. They do these stupid things like this. In my case they tell you : "Oh one more thing... we need you to send in your I.D and photos so we can verify your paypal account you are paying from. This will take UP TO 48 HOURS for us to get back to you!"
What the hell is that?! After you send the money to them they ask you for this information!? What kind of stupidity is that? Now really!
So I cancelled the send and right after...
This had my paypal account limited and my funds held for 180 days without access to them. All because of these kind of sites.
2705  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is http://www.virwox.com safe ? on: August 04, 2016, 02:45:54 PM
Yes it is safe, despite the high rates the site is very good already accomplished several transactions in there and never had any problems.
So after all those accomplished transactions you can confirm that they do charge 50% in hidden fees when it all comes in total at the end?
2706  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is http://www.wirvox.com safe ? on: August 04, 2016, 02:16:30 PM
Virwox is safe. Fees for PayPal to BTC is around 20 - 25% and ~0.004 BTC to withdraw.

Your first deposit and withdraw will also take 48 hours.
yes Virwox safe but fees really huge than this.I had an experience with Virwox.I am going to exchange for paypal to btc.deposit $50 paypal then buy linden after linden to btc got around $25 worth btc.Its really suck 50% can you believe guys.who have legal money they never go with Virwox for exchange.Virwox fees are invisible. Grin
Yes those hidden fees come out to 50%. If the buyer knew this before putting in the deposit they would not have accepted it in the first place. But that is how virwox gets you! Once they have your money then they say oh you must pay this much for it.
Any place that deals with paypal being accepted to make payment for buying btc is 50% of the price of bitcoin from now on. I noticed that on several other sites too. I think for offsetting any loss when the price has been decreased significantly caused by a dump like 2 days ago.
That is the price when dealing with paypal to btc transactions that is the new norm. They make you pay out of your a**h0le for taking it! Angry
2707  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I sell BTC on: August 04, 2016, 02:09:18 PM
^^ ^^
Oh wow scammers are trying to be imposters; a person who pretends to be someone else in order to deceive others, especially for fraudulent gain.

It is getting even tougher to know who to trust on this exchange topic from now on.
They are trying any which way to try and scam people here! Angry
2708  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Will pay double BTC. NEED PREPAY OR SOMEONE TO PAY A SMALL CHARGE On DEBIT CARD on: August 04, 2016, 01:59:33 PM
Now why would you send $500 to someone via paypal Roll Eyes -of all the processors out there- without any verification?
Are you for real bro?  Cheesy
2709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or a gold bar with the same value? on: August 04, 2016, 12:56:26 PM
I like the idea of owning some gold so now I am collecting a bit of gold when I can. I also like the liquidity of bitcoin but gold seems to have a more steady climb long term upwards, bitcoin is getting a bit too volatile again.

I hate that sense of it being so volatile and why put yourself under undue stress like that?
Love the stability of gold and it is actually a physical item(if you want it to be and not just trading it virtually) so you know it is yours and nothing will change that unless you lose it out of your own doing.
2710  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long you in bitcoin world? on: August 04, 2016, 12:52:22 PM
Having been in the bitcoin environment for 1 year now and the amount of things that you witness in this time makes it feel like a hellva a lot longer then this.
2711  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which exchange does not hold coins? on: August 04, 2016, 12:50:10 PM
Decentralization is the only sure way to know that your coins will leave your sight when a catastrophe like this happen on an exchange. Why take the risk with your bitcoins.
It is like handing over the keys to your house to a complete stranger.
Kiss your belongings goodbye! Kiss

omg! thats huge i need a site with better percentages then, can you suggest any ?

Nope. That's around the price you have to pay until you have a better reputation.

Hmf? I don't think it is legit. The deposit and withdraw tooks so much time before it arrives. The fees are much larger. But not sure, you are pertaining trading BTC/USD. Well mine I use to trade Alternative Coins and the site I use is C-cex. The deposit or withdraw tooks about 3-4 hrs, or even 1-2 Hrs. Depending to Blockchain. The fee is 20K sats fixed, a lot more cheaper right?

c-cex asked me to send a selfie with my id, i was like okaay maybe  later
Thats what cryptsy asked for too when I registered an account with them. Now they have that on file and they are gone. Undecided
I wouldn't trust any of these exchanges with my id and info.
But I think they all do for verification purposes.
Not too sure if virwox does if you don't verify your account. But since they are taking paypal my best guess would say that they do. Wink
2713  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is http://www.virwox.com safe ? on: August 03, 2016, 08:17:15 PM
Those are the fees to do a paypal to btc exchange? That is steep but they are taking on something that many won't want to offer to the public because of all the stipulations that you have to go thru for using the site. But if that is your only option then I guess you have to grin and bare it and eat those fees. Lips sealed
2714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prices are falling on: August 03, 2016, 08:13:16 PM
I will buy as much bitcoins as I can now, and continue to hold, last time I bought at $400 and sold at 775, so my money gained almost 95% in value, I guess I won't make that much this time, but at least I will make some profit.
It might already be too late! Embarrassed The price has bounced back to $570 in the last 3 hours so it is settling back to the way it was prior to report of the breach of security.
2715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Bitfinex Hacked] So , learned the lesson ? on: August 03, 2016, 08:10:48 PM
Anyone got finexxed here?
I am pretty sure there are quite a few here that have had ties with this exchange.
Will they admit it? Probably not out of being too embarrassed to admit that they held any coins in an exchange once their trading session has ended.

2717  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: August 03, 2016, 07:05:26 PM
i want to ask is true or not
is issue bitfinex attack war hacker and lost gone bitcoin
Yes, there are multiple threads here and on reddit. Bitfinex appears to have lost just under 120kBTC due to some kind of hack. Trading has been halted, and the site has been taken offline. According to a bitfinex employee, the incident is under investigation.
Where do you have this number (120k BTC) from?
From this reddit thread. (the number is actually 119,756BTC).
Don't forget that hackers look at personal information -names, bank accounts and SINs as good as if not more valuable then the bitcoins that they stole.
Those tiny characters on the screen are the gifts that keep on giving from a hackers point of view.

Anyone know for sure if they got customer's information as well? The news has still not been completely released on the damage that was caused. I have a pretty good feeling that they won't disclose this information to the public if it has been comprised. That would put them into full damage control mode.
2718  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex. Will they cover the 65 million dollar BTC Theft or just fold? on: August 03, 2016, 06:59:57 PM
I would think they would just cut their losses and just file for bankruptcy to not have a slue of lawsuits that are fourth coming.
You don't think people who lost their coins will just sit back and forget that this exchange allowed their funds and undoubtedly their personal information to be stolen and not take legal action is beyond me to believe. Roll Eyes
2719  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex deposit problem, 5 days no coin on: August 03, 2016, 06:55:38 PM
No surprise there. Roll Eyes
You always hear horror stories about Poloniex and their exchanges from numerous of their customers.
Their customer service is quite poor from what I heard as well.
Why anyone would entrust their coin with them is something I can not or ever will understand. Undecided
2720  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did you try Bitsquare? If not, why? on: August 03, 2016, 06:53:28 PM
I have tried it and must say I am impressed with the level of service that they provide and the features that were available to me when I looked into opening an account with them.
