The easiest way to identify a pump and dump scheme is when an unknown coin suddenly rises substantially without a real reason to do so.
That's for sure a pump and dump and as much as you can, you should avoid it. I avoid those projects that have pumped without any reason and I don't want to get stuck in between of it. The chance of an investor chasing the pump and get profit on it is fairly low. Those who have been there at the start, they're the ones that's making a lot of money because they've been there as the lowest since its inception. And as a trader or investor, I won't recommend chasing those pump and dump projects because instead of profit, you'll lose. wrong , don't avoid that on the spot instead ride with it but never too greedy to seek for too much , best to buy and wait for small pump then sell. we have seen many of pump and dump. and I am also one of those who rides when there is something similar i found specially when the pump is just started? i will take the opportunity to buy and wait for at least 5-10% growth then leave , that is what i do lol. You can ride on it if you're too good in riding these pump and dump coins. But not everyone is good in riding it especially the newbies and that's why it's better for them to just avoid it. Just because there's a chance that you can make big money from it, it's not wrong to just be safe and avoid it if you know that you might just get losses by riding it. exactly , that is what we both meant here , as we can ride but of course with risk because there are no profit if there are no big risk . Bounty is one of the medium used as a means of creating awareness about a project. As the name implies it is supposed to be a "paid to perform" task. If you're so new to bitcointalk forum I mean those task where you will be asked to perform some task to in order to get rewarded with some tokens. My main concern is the mode of payment. I've realised that upon all this task they are told to do which in one way or the other help boost the project in question, they end up being paid in cents. Some of them pay with tokens that are not listed which means you can't sell it anywhere. Seriously it's not funny. At least people should be treated fairly for their time, knowledge and energy. Bounty distributors should also know that it takes resources(mobile, data subscription, electricity) to perform those tasks. There should be a fairer reward distribution and not meagre tokens that is not even worth a dollar.
What do y'all think about this?

Insurance is going to be big I feel coming year/years. TOP 10 cryptos is more suitable for me to divide funds for. Now investing in any coin or token would be risky, Because now Bitcoin's position is not stable and its value has dropped a lot. So I think we should wait and see if the price of Bitcoin goes up. I understand your frustration but when you’re dealing with an exponential technology like BTC it’s always difficult to predict.
Many people get their hopes up of where BTC should be valued at this particular moment in time and they get disappointed.
Just be patient, look at the consistent growth and understand that BTC will inevitably hit over 100k.
In this market, the more you eager to take your slice of cake is the more losing you may have , because in desperation you will make a wrong decisions and will bring you to losses and not so worth investments. I have learned this the hard way in the past when I keep seeking for big profit and in the end what i get is dumping season. if you think there is enough profit in your capital then best to let it there and just buy in the next chance when the market subside . |

Hello,
I am planning on staking an altcoin to earn kind of an additional income to my salary.
Since I will be putting lots of money to earn a worthwhile return, I'm worried I'll put it in a crypto that won't be relevant in 3-5 years. The safest bet of course is to stake ethereum, but I don't like the indefinite lockup period they got right now. I like the Atom coin, but I'm not sure how to evaluate whether it has strong fundamentals and if it will be relevant in a few years (the top 10 cryptos now are very different from the top 10 a few years ago). Same with MATIC and a few other apparently strong cryptos at the moment.
I know it's impossible to predict the future but what would you folks advise someone in my position?
Just check Binance staking mate , you can find more project that has safer option but of course not having too much profit but at least very safe and reliable . I have tried couple of times and yes i made a profit and still doing it now mate. Just make sure that you are willing to wait for 1 month or more to see your profit lol. |

Three months has passed, and still no updates. Maybe they still need some time to prepare whatever it is that they intend to do upon relaunching. And that being said, maybe this relaunch would be the time for the implementation of the improvements with their site and services. Nevertheless, it is highly appreciated that even with their closure happening, they kept the withdrawal process continuously open.

I think they will just be undergoing maintenance. I've read that this is just a temporary closure. Perhaps it is because they have to enhance and improve their site and its content for the existing users and to garner and encourage more users as well in the future. Although I advise those people who still have funds in their account to withdraw it as soon as they can so that they won't be in a hassle and rush when its near the maintenance. And it's also better to be sure than sorry because I have seen few sites that claimed to just be in maintenance and then decided to never come back.
