2702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC only for middle and upper economic class? on: July 03, 2017, 05:13:55 AM
hello..Please your opinion.

As we know that Bitcoin is being discussed right now and people hope in their country Bitcoin can be ratified as a legitimate transaction tool. But in my country, only about 3% are familiar with bitcoin. Is this because only the upper middle class knows the bitcoin, or is there any other cause? What about bitcoin in your place?
I don't think so, because most of the time even poor people has their own gadgets so that they are updated. Just to say that they are one of the people that is updated. Poor people can also make their way to have their bitcoin and to have their extra income but I think they are also the problem maybe they are not interested on it.
2703  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet vs Exchange on: July 03, 2017, 05:00:58 AM
Ok,

my question is, how much coins you keep in wallet and how much on exchanges?

Is it like 50/50 or more like 90/10?

I am more on saving to wallet than to exchange because I don't still have enough knowledge to exchange more than 50% of my bitcoin.
2704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remote desktop on: July 02, 2017, 02:09:35 PM
Well i don't use the same apps as you.

But you can use Teamviewer like me and it works like a charm to remote control my rig, unless Internet goes down.  Grin

Looking to have remote access to my rig as well.  Any cost for Teamviewer?  Just checked out the site really quick and can see it has what I'm looking for...windows support as well as android.
Teamviewer is really good you can just install it and use it into your computer desktop, but I don't think that it can also use in android.
2705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: July 02, 2017, 02:02:19 PM
I really like Pacquiao but he is getting old for this. He should retire boxing and concentrate on politics. He is already rich and he does not need money from boxing anymore. He might get serious injury if he keeps pushing it. I will go for horn in this one.
I agree that pacquiao needs to retire in boxing, he already have everything and he really has a lot of properties so I think he doesn't need to fight at all since pacquiao is old enough to retire. I thinks he needs to concentrate with his family and it is better that pacquiao open a business for his family so that they will have a future even if he gets really old. I’ll go Horn for me too.
Oh my gosh, if only I put some bet into this. I actually won!! I just don't know where to bet online and put some of my bitcoin, I really think that Horn will actually won because I think this fight is just only for money now.
2706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: July 02, 2017, 01:52:25 PM
When it is a card game you really need analysis, and when also betting in sports, this will also help for you to win because when it comes in color games it is pure luck. I think it is really depend of what game do we play when we are in gambling sites or casinos.
Sometimes even in a luck base games you also needed to use analysis theres some better ways in order to win against the house if you have a better strategy that you can use analyzing the possible outcome or yet much better to say predicting things to happen aince you already expecting possible result due to your analyzation.

yeah, you also have a point, but it is also depend on us if we really need to do some analysis because for me when I know that it is just pure luck I know that I don't need to analyze I just need to wait for the result of the game.
2707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: July 02, 2017, 12:45:40 PM
the price regularly increase/decrease by %5 or more daily on an even regular base, so you can consider it as risky as stocks (high risk ones), only investing what you can afford to lose is the smartest choice.
Even if there is risk in investing I think it is worth it when we already get our earnings. It is really good in our feeling if we earn with our hardwork ang with our strategy and knowledge. If taking risk can make you earn money, well, just take risk until you meet your own quota. 😊
I do not support risky ideas. I like well-designed and not a risky operation. Let it be a small income, but are guaranteed. Therefore, I do not trade on the exchange. Guaranteed income on the stock exchange has a broker.
yes, we have our own desicions in life. We can make our own desicion on how much should we need to invest. That's true that it is guaranteed if we have a broker. I've also known a lot of investor that has their own broker and now they are already rich people.
2708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 02, 2017, 01:40:11 AM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
The number one reason is because of greediness. Of course as a gambler, you don't want to end the game when you lose. You always aim to quit gambling once you have won. However, if you didn't meet your expectation, addiiction could trigger which is not good as a player.
I agree, because once you start to play gambling and at the beginning you already aim for the prize but you lose the game, you will have a trigger to play again because you really want to win, sometimes that will be the start of losing money because we have no assurance in winning in gambling.

Yes its true that one cannot assure you that you will win a big prize. You may try a hundred times and gain a negative profit but some other lucky dude can just win the jackpot in their first bet. It all depends on luck and that luck is hard to foresee - in fact it is impossible to foresee. Hence one must not play EV- games too much where the odds are against them.

I agree with you mate that the game of luck is really hard to win most especially in gambling because the odds are really against you multiple times. If it involves lots of money, then it is not wise to do so but if you are only using a portion of your money that you can afford to lose then that is perfectly fine.
So, when we play gambling we need to limit ourselves at the beginning, we should know our limit so that if we already lose what we can afford, we already know if we needs to stop the game.
2709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: July 02, 2017, 01:35:58 AM
I honestly think Bitcoin isn't decentralized enough considering that government still controls the Internet and can easily censor or shut them down (is this even possible?) anytime.
The move by government to make us go cashless by gradually phasing out cash is even more worrisome, could make them have absolute control over us.
We need some sort of decentralized "physical Bitcoin" that doesn't depend on the Internet and can be exchanged for online Bitcoin.  It is too risky not to have offline alternatives to Bitcoin to act as backup plan for online Bitcoin in case something big goes wrong.

Pls I need to know something,  Is it possible to exchange Bitcoin with other people without being connected to the Internet?
Let say the government bans the Internet and you have your Bitcoin offline(in cold storage right?), can you exchange the Bitcoin to the next person by simply transferring some Bitcoin from cold storage to his/her computer, phone or even data storage devices(like SD Card, USB, Hard drive etc)?
If this is possible then no need for the "Physical Bitcoin"

I don't think that it's possible for the governments to shut down the Internet. To shut down the Internet, they will have to give up a lot of benefits themselves and there're a lot of online service they're providing so if they shut down the Internet, they will take more disadvantages than advantages.
That's true there will be more disadvantage than advantage if they shutdown the internet. But maybe we should also learned how to put our bitcoin into a cold storage for our safety purposes. But for me it is really impossible that governments will shutdown the internet.
2710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: July 02, 2017, 01:18:19 AM
The revenge thinking is what makes us play again and again even after loosing. I would stop betting right away if I cover my loss, this is what every gambler thinks at least.

Recovering our losses is a very normal attitude of gambler, first it's hard to accept defeat and you won't be able to have control on that feeling on the easiest way. And also fear of wasting your chance to win is also a reason why we keep on gambling even we lose all the time. But if you are an experienced gambler, you know when to stop.
You are right, recovering our losses is normal for gamblers, but it is also good if they think that, it is just our paid of our having fun. Playing again and lose will also another loss if we continue playing we will just lose another and another bitcoin/money. Maybe losing money that we can afford to lose is enough to stop than wait until you lose huge btc/money in your wallet.
2711  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this right time to buy bitcoin?? on: July 02, 2017, 01:10:59 AM
Today is always the right time to buy bitcoin. When we wait to increases the bitcoin for sure you can also buy bitcoin in a high amount, like today it increases. Don't wait until you cannot afford to buy bitcoin because I believe that bitcoin will really have a great value after 5 years from now. Smiley Like when 2015 is the best time to buy bitcoin. Is it like today, that it will never too late if we start today.

Are you kidding me man? Today's price is at $2700, do you think people will be willing to buy that in that high price? They won't. And there will be a news about network splitting this August so I think they will be waiting for the price dump before August and buy bitcoins. The price of bitcoin is different than it is in the past, you don't need to compare those two.
I also heard that news too, maybe they can wait until august if that is true. But I am just saying that if we buy bitcoin today, I didn't say 1 btc, Maybe they can buy .010 btc only is enough to start or to buy. Or it is also good that wait until august if bitcoin value will dump then start buying bitcoin in that Month.
2712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: July 02, 2017, 01:06:52 AM
Sure it can but only if you as a person can accept this as lesson in the end, no matter if you loose or win. Gambling is something that is treated now as disease and if we can control this then it can be good for you life lesson, maybe one of the biggest ones.
Agree, lessons can also be depend on a person if they can accept the lessons in the end from it.  Sometimes people can't apply the lessons that they've learned from their experience.
2713  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: July 01, 2017, 01:13:06 PM
Well, i also want to be one of them. Well, I want to be rich because of bitcoin, and I guess there are some people who have become rich by using bitcoin. I hope I become one of them next year.

I Know a lot of people becomes rich because of bitcoin and sadly im not one of them but still i believe that bitcoin will help me to achieve my goals in life and makes me rich in the future, just need to hold and wait for my target price before i sold bitcoin.
I also want to earn money for the future, being rich is not easy. So I think I just need to work hard for my family so that I can save more money for us.

2715  Other / Off-topic / Re: What type of music do you guys like?? on: July 01, 2017, 09:38:39 AM
Old but gold. Classic songs in 80's and 90's are my most favorite one. Because it reminds me those people who are with me and take care of me during those times though some of them are no longer in this world i still feel them through those songs.  Though its very hard and sad to face the reality but through this classic songs it bring back those happy memories. Also i do love songs that is something new to hear like pop and rock songs just give me a noise to my ear it helps me to ease the pain 💔
Oh, it also take me to the past and I also hear some musics of 90's, I also misses the past and happy memories when I was a kid, no problem and no worries at all, I just need to study and play. Missed those days. I love hearing music that relaxes me.
2716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to effectively store large number of Bitcoins? on: July 01, 2017, 08:43:51 AM
I use multiple wallets. If you want cold storage then use Trezor.io
I think it is not safe to put your bitcoin into multiple accounts because you can forgot the security questions or code for this. It is better if we only have 1 or 2 accounts. But I think more than 2 accounts is not safe. But I think there is no different between storing small and big amount of bitcoin it is still bitcoin but if we want to save huge amount we can converted it into fiat and save it to the bank.
2717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: July 01, 2017, 08:13:45 AM
There are several disadvantages of BTC. Bitcoin is still developing. It is not yet widely accepted and because of this its price is not yet stable. Its value is not predictable. Another one is you can lost your BTC if your data or wallets get corrupted with virus unlike in the banks, if your atm got stolen you can easily call and let your account freeze whereas in BTC, when you lose it theres no retrieving Smiley
I didn't experience that my wallet gets corrupted because of virus, because I think we can still open our account in other devices, even if our devices gets virus we can still open our account. So we can still retrieve our bitcoin. But you are also right that bitcoin is not yet stable.
2718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 01, 2017, 06:38:13 AM
Gambling indicates either we loose or gains either ways there is risk involved but human nature will depend on the situation whether he win or loose. Here many people are saying that we are gambling for fun and profit but most of them are very serious about gambling in making money.

And that is the truth.
They just say at the start that it will be for trial only or maybe just to try their luck for that day.
But the truth is it could go deeper and they might be serious to win it.
That is how gambling could be. It is addicting at the expense of not stopping until you get the best win.

Of course, everyone will play gambling to win. But there is a difference in b/w fun gamblers and profit players. Fun players will not play more time, and they know when to stop there play. They will not lose hard work money. But those who play for profit they don't have this much patience they only concentrate on profit. If they do not make any profit they will play until there bankroll empty.

They always want to win because that's what everyone wants, don't you agree? For me personally, I don't like to gamble now because I have lost so much and I think I cannot get what I lost back anymore. It's not just money that is concerned, it's the mentally that you have if you continuously play. I suggest having strategies so you would know what you would do when a certain point comes in the games.
Yeah and if we lost there is no such fun thing. And if you really want to just have fun I would suggest that go to the arcade not in gambling because in gambling we can lose money immediately for no such reason. You just waste your golden time, effort and money.
That's a brilliant and smart idea you should go to arcade for fun, but when a gambler finds his comfort through betting games; I guess that arcade games will not satisfy his/her passion of fun. Even if he losses a lot of his money from playing bets for gambling, the fun is still a part after all failures that has been happening and also it's an additional happiness during the time of lucky winnings. So in a practical ways of understanding on our freedom of expressing thoughts, I can really say that you don't waste money if there is such; but if none that's a very serious matter that needs to be corrected.
But if we just want to have fun then we can consider going to an arcade than to gamble. But if you really wanted to gamble because you think arcade can never put the fun in you, you can gamble because some people loves to risk and gambling can only give the feeling that they wanted to felt.
2719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: July 01, 2017, 06:34:26 AM
I think no,  because gambling can destroy our financial because it more leads into looses maybe we can win but looses is always. But if the people is lucky that day he/she play the gambling game. Maybe if he/she has the strategy in gaming maybe they win but not not always maybe today is the lucky day of her/him but not all the time you have assurance in winning.

Well to consider gambling to be profitable at all is quite a bit foolish more so if you think it can be for long term. You're basically throwing away money and hoping for it to grow. And there will be times when it will but never on a consistent basis. So i don't think gambling can't and shouldn't be conaidered as something for long term profit.

From my experience from gambling, it can never be for profit. That's the fact about gambling. It is something for a gambler's entertainment and it is a profit activity for the casinos and gambling site operator. Profit is not the business of gamblers it is the owner's. People see winning as profit but it isn't true. Some people do profit from it but we do not all have the same fate. There are more people that lose than really win.
Yeah,it is more often of losing in gambling than winning, maybe 70% losing and 30% winning, we can win in gambling but not all the time, it is more on losing so even if we win we can still lose money because losing is more often. But when you know how to stop it can less our losses.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: July 01, 2017, 06:29:56 AM
We can all learn through our experiences not just by gambling but also to some other things. But when it comes to gambling, we can learn from it, like we also need to give limit to ourselves, or we need to handle our greed. We can also learn from our mistakes, like when we already losing money. It is good to have a limitations from how much do we need to spend money from playing gambling and many more. It is also depend on us on how we can learn from it.
Self control is the biggest thing that I learn in gambling, I forget my loses and I just accept that it is the fee I have to spend to learn important things.
Now, I am not afraid of taking risk, before I am more aggressive in gambling but now I only do it for fun because I have more time allocated in my trading activities, and actually it is working pretty well, so without gambling experience I could have not done well in trading.
That's true I agree with you, gambling experience is also good so that we may know what risk we are taking from it and also when we do some other activities like trading it is another different risk again but this time more control to ourselves.
