I've worked as a Federal contractor and from my experience, Federal workers hate to come in on Fridays.

So my guess, they'll decide early Friday morning then call it a week or not come in at all on Friday then put it off until Monday.

I think you're right, at Monday's they still haven't made the decision... then the ETF will be approved Smiley
2726  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit losing Bitcoin Unlimited winning -> Moon soon on: March 09, 2017, 06:52:13 PM
I think it's laughable that Core supporters won't stop whining about Roger Ver, as if he were really some kind of Bitcoin Boogeyman.

The fact that one side has to engage in personal attacks & smear campaigns against the other side is really, really telling.

It is a sign of weakness if you have to slander your opponent with blatant lies and exaggerations.

Roger Ver is buying up hashrate...just wait untill his ''social money'' runs out. He's also trolling in his latest interviews so i dont blame the ''blamers''.
2727  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit losing Bitcoin Unlimited winning -> Moon soon on: March 09, 2017, 06:44:41 PM
I don't care about attack surfaces, but i DO care about not falling under a PBOC-driven cabal, present company excluded.

BlockStream bankster maffia is no better, so this really isn't a valid argument you have there. If SegWit goes through BlockStream would have monopoly over Bitcoin development. Someone truly being the "Bitcoin CEO" won't be a joke then.

BU is in control of a few Cinese miners, i think this central mining cartel isn't so decentralised, right? How much does Roger Ver pays you to mine ChinaCoin?  While Satoshi's vision is already absolute, the majority of the whole economic infrastructure wants SegWitt, NOT BU, BU miners will eventually mine for a loss sooner ore later. Blockstream ore Core's behaviour is irrelevant, ceo's, Exchanges, walletproviders, merchants etc the all dont care about it, except BU supporters Undecided
2728  Economy / Speculation / Re: SegWit losing Bitcoin Unlimited winning -> Moon soon on: March 09, 2017, 03:04:23 PM
Bitcoin Unlimited is a vote for free markets. SegWit is like a communist centrally planned economy.

More news on ETF: http://cdn.batstrading.com/resources/regulation/rule_filings/pending/2016/SR-BatsBZX-2016-30.pdf

Just showing what was filed as to WHY the delay;  regarding BTC as a "tangible" asset.

what the SEC was analyzing was the BZX Rule 14.11 (e) (4) rule change request. This request was made so that the SEC's understanding of the custody of digital assets, which is something new to them, is accepted. Today the rule says that only tangible assets are accepted as custody and Bitcoin is not tangible. By accepting this change, the Winklevoss Bitcoin (COIN) Shares issued by Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust may be listed on the stock exchange, so the ETF may exist!

Quoted this comment from  Sukoi in Tradingview.

That's a nice change, this is also a huge opportunity for the U.S to regulate/maintain and oversee the whole adoption fase, i go for 75% Yes 25% No.
2732  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1050 2min flash dump anomaly on: March 07, 2017, 06:07:56 PM
A whale probably made a boo-boo (aka sell-order instead of a buy-order) hahahah

Stop analyzing every bump and fart on the chart ....

But that wasn't just a fart, look at the chart! When was the last time you saw something like this  Huh

Everyone has already forgotten that nasty ~$300 dump 2 months ago, this $100 drop is nothing.
2733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Vault 7" (Wikileaks) Discussion. Best Practices for Us? on: March 07, 2017, 05:44:59 PM

2734  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 07, 2017, 01:27:17 PM
So, the BU Chinees mining Cartel Roger Ver are buying hashing power.  Shocked

2735  Economy / Speculation / Re: If we didnt had idiots blocking segwit we would be sittting on 4 figures by now on: March 05, 2017, 02:54:08 PM
We should not have SegWit, never. Instead we should have the following features as proper and clean protocol upgrade:
* TX malleability fix
* payment channels
* fix to signature verification DOS attack vector
* block size dictated by the free market

SegWit as soft fork should be rejected at all cost, it's pure evil. However, all the features in this ugly hack SegWit should be implemented independently of each other and elegantly code-wise.

The only reason Core devs mixed all these fixes together in the abomination they call SegWit is to obfuscate the codebase of Bitcoin so that they would expand their control over Bitcoin even more. And the worst part about obscure code is that it could contain vulnerabilities (possibly deliberately injected). Heartbleed of OpenSSL anyone? Do you really want it to happen to Bitcoin too? It's much easier to review new features that are implemented independently of each other. So why didn't Core add them as such? Because soft fork is so much better? Yeah right, backwards compatibility is false advertising because SegWit isn't really backwards compatible since it requires super consensus to activate. So does a proper protocol upgrade.

The majority of the whole ecosystem doesn't give a shit about that...the most prominent names wants Segwitt because Segwitt is technical better and gives more security.
2736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver - bitcoin jesus going off the rails?? have you been rogered? on: March 03, 2017, 03:12:13 PM

2737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DASH will be dumped, is anyone going to make some money? on: March 03, 2017, 03:09:48 PM
One is certain BTC can't cover all segments of privacy and anonymity. Will it be Dash or Monero or some other coins its not important for majority of us. Sooner or later Dash, Monero will be obsolete at some point, will it be dumped or will slowly abandoned also is not important.

I think a new side-chain ontop of the Bitcoin network will replace all of them.
