2721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Touching the life of random poor kids with all my 3wks campaign BTC on: August 19, 2022, 12:55:20 PM
I also want to express my gratitude to the OP. Seeing smiles on the faces of children is the greatest happiness. And if you, OP, bring those smiles to them, they will definitely come back to you in the future. The only person who is never guilty of being poor is a child. Giving them a good mood, giving them direction that the world is not so cruel and there are ways to change their future, will be a good motivation for these children, and maybe those around them. I have great respect for these people, and I understand how many difficulties they have to overcome. And I really hope that the knowledge of bitcoin and the possibility of using it will somehow improve the lives of these people, and indeed of any people who are currently praying not only for their wealth but about how to let their children survive.
2722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to recover compromised account? on: August 19, 2022, 09:17:27 AM

Set your Bitcoin address in your profile is useless. Because if your account is compromised, hacker will be able to change it. Take it off or change it.

It only makes sense if you sign a Bitcoin message from an address you control the privaye key, and stake it in the forum. Then it must be quoted by other members. Then if your account is compromised, hacker will only be able to delete your post but it is not enough. Because there are quoted posts by other members.

If you can sign another message from that address, you can prove ownership of your account.

You forget about archives. The OP's account isn't old enough for us to say the archives can be deleted as well.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3493225
But besides this, you can understand the OP, because of his loss of a fairly large amount, and make a privilege to access his account. Especially since the OP assures that he has evidence in the form of mail.
2723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help needed I got attacked by hacker??? on: August 19, 2022, 07:08:29 AM
If you have access to mail, change your password there too, and also check if incoming emails contain links that may contain virus software. Also, check the phone number to which you registered the mail; a hacker could change it. Ideally, reset all phone settings to factory settings, because your message still says that besides you, someone else may have access.
2724  Economy / Reputation / Re: Account changed hands, neutral or negative tag is more appropriate? on: August 19, 2022, 05:51:19 AM
Let's now set rules for all old accounts that can be sold but must honestly admit to the death of their relatives, and after that, it is naive to believe that the account is not lying.
Why do few people think that account sellers deliberately do not sell accounts with a password change? After all, it has already been proven more than once by the account buyers themselves that they have a rule not to change the password immediately after waking up.

There is a rule that is not to change the password after buying an account. I'm complying so this account isn't locked.

Of course, this account is of no value to the forum, but in the same way, registering a new account takes about three minutes. Why not honestly say that dad died, and I'm the son of this account? Is everything fair? Yes. This topic has already been discussed, but everyone forgets that those who were going to buy an account could also read it. Why does no one think that it is very easy to follow the recommendations in this topic, talk about death, and live in peace with a higher rank than messing around with promoting a new member?
2725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help needed I got attacked by hacker??? on: August 18, 2022, 08:13:34 AM
Are the links in your op not the ones that lead to your attack?

All right. These links should be removed, or at least everyone should be warned not to click on them.
OP, are you still waiting to change your forum password? I see that you didn't. It's pretty stupid to use a computer, download torrents, and combine some kind of financial business. Any hacked version of something can't just be altruistic help for those who don't want to pay. This always carries viruses that will wake up the user at an unexpected time.
O.P. Split your computer into two systems if you can't afford two devices. I will not be smart about antivirus. I think you already understand everything. Let this experience be your only lesson.
2726  Economy / Economics / Re: A Secret to financial breakthrough on: August 18, 2022, 07:26:25 AM
I guess it’s everyone’s choice, either to take the hard process and get rich in the future, or you get rich instantly by taking get rich quick schemes and maybe regret later on and end up poor again. Because the reality is, if you want to get rich and sustain your wealth, you must work for it the hard way. If it means getting out from your routine and embrace new strategies in life, then go for it as no one gets the same opportunities that stays for long.

That's right, we're on the same wavelength. Anyone who can get rich quickly on not entirely correct and moral deeds, by deceiving people, can simply lose everything. I don’t know what to call it, karma or fate, but fast money turns to dust very quickly.

People who have financial education, for the most part, know how to properly manage money and their business, which does not live for one or two years but turns into a life's work.

Therefore, of course, education and an honest business that does not go over people's heads and does not lose its human face will be the right steps.
2727  Other / Meta / Re: How to get 1 merit? on: August 18, 2022, 07:13:55 AM
Looks like the OP got the merit and didn't know about it. Since August 16, he has not entered either topic to implement his plans.

OP, just look at the kind of society that greets you. People are more concerned about your future venture than you are. Being here with such a wonderful, friendly, good-natured community, I do not doubt that your business can grow.

You need to appreciate it. Cheesy
2728  Other / Meta / Re: Possible account compromise on: August 17, 2022, 10:31:49 AM
I think the OP is more interested in finding out how his account got hacked. Based on his story, it was from the hacked account that PMs were sent, after which the escrow realized that everything was fine and sent his money to the seller's account.

On the other hand, all PMs can be deleted in advance. The account itself is quite young to be of any value. It's easier to open a new account.
2729  Other / Meta / Re: How important are you on this forum? on: August 17, 2022, 10:21:55 AM

Whether or not a newbie is intimidated depends on how they respond to other users' comments. If they know how and don't do anything wrong then I don't think they need to feel intimidated and I would advise them to have free speech.

By the way, by seeing how a person reacts to criticism, you can see what they are like in real life. Is it possible to be afraid of a stranger on the Internet? Why does it? Fear will appear when you yourself realize that you are doing something wrong. And as long as a person understands that they are honest, sincere, and really do not harm anyone, they should not be afraid of anyone. Everyone is equal on the forum. I think the admin understands this better than all of us. Everyone's opinion is welcome, no matter how ridiculous it may be. Here, even fraud is not moderated. Grin
2730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is Merit Gotten? on: August 17, 2022, 09:23:58 AM
Tell us why you need merits. Your steps: registration and the third post with the merit question. I'll give you merit if you tell me the really important things and why you need them.

OP, even if you're new and don't know how to use the forum, it would be helpful to just click the links. Take a look around. Find out what this forum is. And why do you care about merit more than knowledge about bitcoin? Merit questions are very popular, so try to be original, and your merit will come to you very soon.

2732  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Massively fraudulent Escrow Transaction! on: August 17, 2022, 08:32:23 AM
Here's my topic on Best practices for Bitcointalk escrow providers, with links to the case where $50k was scammed.

@OP: any chance you entered your password on a phishing site? Chances are you got a link by PM before your account got hacked.

This is the most likely case.
OP, look at the accounts your opponent owns.

This person most likely hacked you, OP, because his reputation suggests a dishonest person. Check all links sent by this account.
At the same time, it is not surprising that you were contacted by an account that has been in a dream for three years, although its second account lives safely on the forum.

2734  Other / Meta / Re: Btt logins on phone browser on: August 16, 2022, 09:02:36 AM
That is why I always advise people to use a password that they can be remembering even when sleeping. Use something that very familiar which contain numbers, alphabets and signs which can not be forgotten. Those who forget login details for important sites are not serious even about their life. Someone even forgot his username for BTT. lovesmayfamilis, tranthidung and others I have you the way to create and secure a strong password through you to your friend and I also believe these information are also helpful to you as well. As Charles-Tim said, Memory is not a best place to keep password, because many things enter the brain in every second so if you keep keys in your memory you might lost it. I remember when I lost my mobile anti-theft password. That thing made to format the mobile phone and I lost everything in the phone so I have to download and installed all the apps all over again and videos and pictures were permanently lost out. Since then I have taken my caution.

I received a mention of my nickname in telegrams. Agbe, I do not quite understand what you want to say? Someone forgot their name on the forum? Do you recommend remembering passwords or not? A continuous stream of thoughts that do not unite logically together. And where am I in your post and trathidung? What's wrong with us?   Huh Shocked Shocked
2735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be aware of private key thief’s on: August 16, 2022, 07:36:19 AM
He learnt his lesson after that. He said he was embarrassed by his compliance.

It is difficult not to trust such a teacher. Smiley

But it can also be concluded that as long as you receive knowledge, advice, and lessons, it all comes from the giver, and this does not pose any danger. A person can promise you profit and show examples. All of this indicates that he is giving you something to one degree or another.

The red flag is turned on at the time when the moment comes when something is demanded or asked of you. This also includes passwords, seed phrases, transactions, and more. In other words, pay close attention to what you are about to pass on to the other person.
2736  Other / Meta / Re: A Possible Improved DT1 System Proposal. on: August 14, 2022, 04:57:01 PM
I would prefer the current system with some more additional requirements like-
1. To be eligible for DT member, you must have sent 100 feedbacks, otherwise, you are not eligible regardless of how many inclusion you have.
2. It would be great if all the feedback has the same system as current flag. If the feedback has net positive score of correct/wrong, only then they will be eligible for being in the DT member provided they have met the above #1 criteria.

You can imagine the number of new reviews that will come from those who want to get into DT. After all, before you understand whether they are true or not, a person needs to write them. I think it will be quite rubbish, and will not bring any benefit to anyone. In addition, opinions will still differ, and writing reviews for everyone is very fussy.
In addition, it’s not enough to modestly put yourself forward in the DT, because this is the opinion of those people who trust a particular person, and not their own desire, isn’t it?
2737  Other / Meta / Re: merit point release on: August 14, 2022, 04:10:52 PM
kasunrandil, I see that you participate in bounty campaigns and that so far you have not shown interest in participating in other forum topics.
You have been on the forum for several months and now you suddenly started asking questions about merits, I wonder why?

Here, another fact is much more interesting. The OP has a neutral tag that says he's violating the rule of ban evasion, but he's so naive that he just doesn't care why this happened to him. Why was his first or twenty-first account banned? And why shouldn't he be on the forum at the moment either?

But a cheater cannot go unnoticed for a long time. If they do not pay attention to him, he does it himself.

2739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Finally Helped My Friend Invest $50000 Into BITCOIN for Retirement. on: August 14, 2022, 03:34:08 PM
Being a skeptic, I'll bring a bit of skepticism to this pleasant conversation topic. Having 50 pieces of bucks, a person does not know how to dispose of them? I don't believe it. Did the money fall on his head? Maybe five thousand, I would believe, but trusting such an amount in a business in which you don’t understand anything and are just starting to take the first steps is unlikely. Even if a friend recommends it. Or maybe your friend is some kind of millionaire who just throws money around?

Moreover, everyone has long understood that in any random or non-random situation, if something goes wrong, you will be to blame. The fact that they attracted, and in my opinion, persistently attracted him to investments

For a forum, the post is a nice story, but why don't I see the merit? Or maybe it's just self-praise. Lots of "I" pronouns. And people pretend to believe you?
2740  Other / Meta / Re: Btt logins on phone browser on: August 14, 2022, 10:37:33 AM
Now, after the tips above, you and your friend have a lot of guides on handling and storing passwords. Remembering passwords means having very vulnerable passwords that can be easily guessed. Use strong passwords, don't trust the Chrome browser, and don't save cookies in your browser. The fact that people temporarily trust saving is very easily broken if spyware is somehow installed on the phone.
Therefore, treat the resources vital to you on the network very carefully, namely, always have a backup copy cut off from the web.
