How do you feel when someone gives you MERIT?
I don't think it is a necessary matter to be discussed. This question is the same as when you ask someone about "how he/she feels when getting a gift?". It is not a proper topic to be discussed in Meta. IMO

We know people view merit differently. Each person may have a different perception about the importance of merit, it can be an extraordinary thing, a usual thing, or a useless thing. Some people probably think merit as a form of appreciation for our post quality, so they try to improve their post quality. While in another case, people may think merit is only applied to valuable information, so they do more often share valuable information. But there are some people even don't care about merit because they think merit is useless. They never use merit for any purpose, and they assume merit never be a measure of member quality. According to this assumption, we can conclude ourselves how they feel once getting merits. No need to ask the question.

2722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 17, 2022, 11:58:48 PM
Yes, the reason for fatigue is not the right reason because after all, when one player is tired, there are substitutes ready to play. But I'm curious, if Sevilla is tired then what about the teams above it that have a longer tournament to get to the Champions League final for example, then the teams that continue to play in many tournaments will really deserve to be tired. But in any case, as long as they are still in the Champions League zone for next season, for me that is enough because in La Liga we know that Real Madrid and Barcelona are two teams that are teams that always fill first and second place.
Correct. Real Madrid players, Barcelona players, and Atletico players must feel tired as well. These teams have played in many competitions, but they never showed that they are tired. So, the players' fatigue isn't the right reason for a continuous decline in Sevilla performance. There should be another reason, it may be their strategy, player composition or formation, or disharmony between coaches and players, or any other else. It is unclear since there is no explanation from Sevilla management. However, Sevilla is still lucky if they finish in 4th place. They are eligible for UCL competition in the next season.
2723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 17, 2022, 11:47:06 PM
Arsenal is only eligible to play in the UEFA Europa League, In this fact, we can see the performance at the beginning of the match versus Newcastle, some players didn't focus on defense and always missed the balls when fighting to fight with Newcastle players.
I personally think Arsenal deserves to play in UCL. We can't determine the quality of Arsenal squad only based on their performance in 1 or 2 matches only. It is true that their performance was so bad in the previous match, against Newcastle. They even can't dominate the match, they lost the ball possession, and they can do much on shot attempts (only 2 shots on target). But don't forget that they ever defeated Man United, Chelsea, and Tottenham during this season. This surely indicates that their squad actually has good quality and capability to beat strong teams. They seem only to lose focus towards the end of this season, I don't know why? It may be related to the players' mentality or the wrong strategy applied by the coach.

2724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kwik Trip To Install 800 New Bitcoin ATM on: May 17, 2022, 11:34:37 PM
~ to established 800 new Bitcoin ATMs with a 11% charges in fees.
Why it should have 11% fees? This doesn't sound good, people will think this ATM is the worst way to get Bitcoin. Kwik Trip never thinks about "how to make people interested to use Bitcoin ATM", they only focus to get huge money by installing these ATMs. People may try these ATMs once, but then they will never come back because they are disappointed with the fees. I doubt if these ATMs will attract people if they still keep the fees at 11%. People must prefer to use exchanges, it has a lower fee and can be used anywhere.
2725  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 16, 2022, 11:58:07 PM
Saving and investing are two different things, saving can be interpreted by setting aside a certain amount of money to be saved and the money can be used at any time if needed. While investment can be defined as investment activity within a certain period of time with the hope that the use of the capital can generate profits or increase in value.
Sure. Saving and Investing are very different. Saving plans to keep the money without expecting to double it. While investing targets to double the amount of money with a certain way/strategy. That's why OP classified them on a different level. The first level is earning or getting money, the second level is saving money, and the last level is investing money. For me, this means, we only invest money whenever we have extra money. So, if we only have money for the basic necessities, don't force ourselves to invest. Just wait for someday when we already have an extra money.  Wink

2726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: May 16, 2022, 11:49:29 PM
Nothing is available for free bro. You must have to invest something, it could be your knowledge or your labor or money. Now if you don't have anything in it then you have to start acquire knowledge first . Or you can do a bounty campaign and then you can start investment or trading from bounties profit.
Yep, nothing is purely free. Even participating in bounty, we need money to access the internet and we need money to have a bank account as a place to convert our profits to fiats. So, even if you are a poor person, you need money to start your journey in crypto space. But how much money we need, depends on the individual financial capacity and what the target is. If you only have a little money, don't target to have a huge profit. Just start from participating in events/activities/programs that require a little money. There should be some opportunities, just be active to find out the information about them. But yes, before participating or doing anything, make sure to have sufficient knowledge about it. So, don't forget about learning first.

I also think that it would be a big step for Paulo Dybala to decide to leave Italy and join a team that are playing in a completely different league and with a completely different game plan. I also have some doubts about him to adapt Arsenal or some other Premier League team at this point. He isn't too young and maybe he would like to continue to play for an Italian team still. And in that case, Inter really seem to be the best option for him.
So, which one is better, move outside of Serie A or stay there for a new club? You said it is a big step to move to another league, but you assume Inter is the best option. Your statement is confusing, I think you need to make this to be clearer.

By the way, Dybala is an experienced player and he didn't play in Serie A only because he also played for Argentina national team. So, he must have the ability to adapt well to any team or any league. What he needs actually is a new motivation to play better as he has no longer this motivation in Juventus. I think he should consider moving to EPL or La Liga because he surely has a new motivation if he plays in another league. He may feel to try a new challenge in the next season.

There's a rumor that he 'will' join Arsenal if they qualify for Champions League.
So, he will refuse Arsenal because Arsenal won't play in UCL competition for the next season.
They already missed it after NewCastle defeated them.
2728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 16, 2022, 11:11:03 PM
I wonder why Sevilla did not do everything to take advantage of their chance to finish second in La Liga. The only explanation I can think of is that they are tired after the whole season. The situation was similar in Barcelona, when they lost the entire series of matches.
I don't think the reason is the fatigue of Sevilla players. Sevilla performance has decreased much since the middle of this season, how can those players feel tired very quickly? Doesn't seem to make sense as the reason. They may have an internal problem, or they have a problem with the tactics or player formation. So, Sevilla players cannot play comfortably, and hard to develop their game. While Sevilla has a problem with their performance, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid started to improve their performance in the second half of this season. So, they gradually can overtake Sevilla from the 2nd place. Well, it is very unfortunate that Sevilla wasted the chance to be the runner-up, they may no longer have the same opportunity in the next season.

2729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 16, 2022, 10:52:37 PM
Arsenal lost their only opportunity of qualifying for the UEFA champions league next season, the Gunner's really lost their big chance of securing a place in the top 4 with their lost against Newcastle. Tottenham is now above them with a different of two points, and it's remaining one match for the both teams and I don't think Tottenham will be able to lose against Norwich.
Yep. Arsenal has missed the chance to finish in UCL zone this season. Now, Tottenham has 68 points, leading 2 points from Arsenal. On matchday 38 (the last match), Tottenham will play against Norwich City (the weakest EPL team) which will have no reason to win the match. Tottenham must get full points in this match, maybe win with big scores. While Arsenal has a harder match, they will play against Everton which needs 3 points to stay away from the relegation zone. They must play all out to win. According to this situation, Arsenal simply has no longer the opportunity to be back in UCL zone, they even may lose points in the latest match.

The invention of the crypto currency backed by blockchain have bring about many questions and debate If bitcoin is a currency or an asset or just a virtual currency that can be used as a payment system it is very difficult to decide which or contain both features
It is not that kind of difficult.
Bitcoin can be both, used as a currency for payment method and also can be used as asset that is traded or ivested.

The problem is now laying on every country's regulation related to Bitcoin and other crytocurrencies.
There are countries that legalize Bitcoin both as a currency and also an asset.
There are countries that legalize Bitcoin and cryptocurrency only as assets, but illegal if used as a currency (as in my country).
And there are also countries that ban cryptocurrency for all.  Grin

But aside from the rule and regulations of every country, Bitcoin can be accessd by all people in the world and we can use it both for whatever it can be if possible

I converted all all my altcoins to btc and eth and solona and stop listen to youtubers.
The youtubers can ruin your life. make your own decision and you will be fine.
BTC and ETH are the most recommended cryptocurrencies so far, safer than others and more promising. The chance of being crashed until zero is very small because they are likely the father of crypto and mother of altcoins.
Btw, I do agree so much not to believe influencers and YouTubers so easily moreover to invest in certain coins, moreover new coins.
always DYOR every time we are going to put our money for investment, if you want to check some updates from YouTubers or influencers, use the information to gather as part of the consideration, not for the decision.

I'm only 15 years old and I'm Brazilian, I want to know which is the best long-term investment.
Glad to know younger is concerning with this.
But please remember that investment may require risk. Be wise in spending your money for investment and understand at first about cryptocurrency and its risk before investing your money here. Ensure that you are not in panic situation in buying the crypto or in hype or FOMO

Btw, for me, the most recommended crypto to buy for the next halvingwill be Bitcoin only. This  is volatile, but so far, this is the most recommened, worthiest, and also most promising. Although it doesn't guarantee 100%, Bitcoin has that experinece after halving to rise up

Tottenham deservedly won this match with a good team game. Tottenham start the new season much stronger with three or four person transfers. Conte brought Tottenham back.
Start a new season? This season doesn't finish yet, how can Tottenham start the new season?
Yes, Tottenham seems stronger and they have a better performance after they are managed by a new coach, Conte. We are also often surprised that Tottenham can beat some big teams lately. It shows good progress made Conte, and he surely deserves to get appreciation. But I don't think it is enough to make this team more competitive, they need more new top players in the next transfer window. Let's hope Conte stays in Tottenham and he plans to buy again some big players.

Any footballers need practice to stay in the game tone and no training will replace it, so it's quite clear to me why Ancelotti released these players. The most important thing is not to overdo it with this practice, so as not to get unnecessary injuries and I think one match a week fits perfectly into this idea.
Released them in the game is no problem as long as they didn't play a too long time. However, as I described above, all the main strikers of Real Madrid played for a long time in that game. "Rodrygo: 62 minutes, Benzema: 75 minutes, Vinicius: full time", I think it is simply unnecessary and too risky. Although Levante isn't a tough opponent and they didn't play aggressively, it is still possible to get injured. Since Real Madrid will have a UCL final against Liverpool, it will be a big problem if there are main players who get injured. And Ancelotti must regret it if it really happens.

Actually Gabriel Jesus really not happy as substitution player with his level, maybe looking for new club and Arsenal have interested to get him on mext window transfers. I think Gabriel Jesus can play not only as  entral forward but also as left and right winger but Manchester City have many player on that position. Better for Gabriel Jesus leaving Manchester City and play with new club give him regular player.
Yep. If he doesn't feel happy to sit on the bench, surely he will leave in the next transfer window. Arsenal is interested to sign him because they need another top striker for their front line, especially for the winger positions, they only have Pepe and Martinelli. If Gabriel Jesus wants to play as a winger, he should consider joining Arsenal for the next season. Since Arsenal only has 2 wingers, it is very possible that Jesus will be the main player in Arsenal squad. He probably plays regularly as a winger there. Let's see how the response from Gabriel Jesus related to the interest from Arsenal.
2736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: May 13, 2022, 09:35:26 PM
Luna will never recover. The market is already on its way to vanish.People will stop trading now. many exchanges have already suspended trading. Binance Exchange may soon suspend.Recovery would have been a long time ago but now it may not be possible.
OP didn't ask about the possibility of Luna recovering soon (now), he only asked whether it is possible or not to recover.
As the founder and the team don't give up yet, I assume it is possible for Luna to recover although it may never reach its ATH again. Regarding the market responses, it is normal to happen now because they are afraid about the current situation in Luna. But if the founder and the team of Luna project can show good progress in recovering Luna price, people are probably interested to buy Luna again. And the exchanges will reopen again Luna trading then. So, nothing is impossible as long as the founder and the team want to make serious efforts.
2737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading courses on: May 13, 2022, 09:21:42 PM
Of course, you can understand trading on your own and it will be easier to do this if you already have a special education and understand the basics of trading and business in general. If you start self-education from scratch, then it will take you a lot of time and you will make a lot of mistakes in the learning process.
Surely the first step to understanding the basics of trading, we always learn anything from the basics, right? Regarding special education, I don't think it is really necessary. It may be very helpful, but it shouldn't be a must. So, it is actually possible to learn trading in our own way, without joining any certain course. We have a lot of sources both from articles and YT videos, we just need to choose which one looks trustable and deserves to be our learning source. I myself never joined any course, I know how to trade. Although I ever made some mistakes, I think it is something unavoidable.
2738  Economy / Economics / Re: Looks like markets are crashing ! this is it ...it's the big one ! on: May 13, 2022, 09:08:19 PM
Looks like we will soon leave the negative trend and head for the bull market, a few hours ago the bitcoin price was around $27k, and now it's more than $30k, I'm sure tomorrow or the day after the bitcoin price will reach $35k soon, and what we worry about hopefully not happen Again, the trend for 2018.
How do you know we will be heading into the bull market soon?
I don't think this little pump is a sign of a bull market in the near future. I assume it is only a temporary pump, it is normal to happen after we have a big dump lately. The dump may stop temporarily, the Bitcoin price is in consolidation phase, and we may see a temporary sideways then. So, the crash won't stop permanently, it will continue again after a few weeks. If you learn the price history in 2018-2019, the price of Bitcoin may drop below $15k. So, predicting the price of Bitcoin will be above $35k and we will leave the bearish trend soon, is very doubtful.
2739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 12, 2022, 11:22:47 PM
I was surprised to see Madrid playing their key players because of the Champions League match at the end of the month still have 3 weeks, even I think playing today has no impact in the next 3 weeks , I can't guess what the coach is thinking.
I am also surprised, I don't know why Real Madrid must release their best strikers (Benzema-Vinicius-Rodrygo). Rodrygo played 62 minutes, Benzema 75 minutes, and Vinicius full time. I think this is very risky, how if these strikers got injured, especially Benzema. Real Madrid has no other CFs that have the same capability as Benzema. Luckily, Benzema and those two wingers (Vinicius-Rodrygo) have no problems during the match. Since the final UCL is only 3 weeks left, I also hope Ancelotti doesn't release them again in the next match (vs Cadiz).

After the arrival of Erling Halaand to Manchester city, there was bad news for Gabriel Jesus, he was increasingly disturbed and threatened to be replaced as a substitute because the main thing was of course Haaland who was brought in.
Rumor has it that there are 6 clubs interested in Gabriel Jesus but the newsstands out that Arsenal are ready to sign him even though Gabriel Jesus still has one more season to go with Mancity, will this make him leave sooner?
If Guardiola plans to use the formation with 1 pure CF in the front line, Gabriel Jesus is still needed as the substitution. Haaland won't always be fit to play during the season, he needs to take a rest sometime. Now, it depends on Jesus whether he wants to be a substitution player or not. If he refuses to sit on the bench, he probably will leave Man City as soon as possible. Moreover, if there are some interesting offers from a top club like Arsenal. I guess he may leave sooner if there is a serious offer for him as no player wants to sit on the bench.
