As the core idea of the merger was to acquire more developers. Let's start drumming up ideas how we can onboard new talent to the darkcoin team. There needs to be some sort of incentive or clever marketing to weed out some of the good devs
I'll happily donate half my MN earnings to a developer fund if devs are needed, and I think they are. As long as it goes to professional devs hired/contracted who have real names and real experience, not some faceless cryptognat clown. Ideally, I think, funding for developers (if necessary - though I don't think it necessarily should be) would come from foundation funds. There are problems with relying on voluntary community donations and major issues with siphoning funds from MNs or miners in a non-voluntary manner. The idea with Shadowcoin was not primarily to gain more devs - that we could do anyway. It was consolidation, on several fronts. It's easy to get impatient with waiting for that to happen organically, and I think maybe that's what was driving this idea. It was exploratory at this point, for what it's worth. The fact that it leaked says quite a bit. Better that it happened now I suppose. Nice to see your around bro. Seems like the good old days again... During every cigarrette break at home I wind up shooting the shit with the neighbors, sometimes dark coin comes up. They are all definitely non-crypto folks, and I always assume no one would be interested in it other than us nerds, but almost all of them latch on to the subject and really want to hear about it. We all know what's up in the crypto scene and we're all about darkcoin. It seems like the obvious super-human strength of it translates well to the non-crypto crowd easily as well.

I'm thinking price is being manipulated down so we can achive 2000 - 3000 masternodes then that will take 3 million coins of the market then boom. Only my thoughts tho. whow now that is a conspiracy !!! Can the community, especially whales and coin developers ask the exchanges not use/allow bots? Obviously exchanges have interest in running pots but if the community makes demands and threaten to leave exchnage if they allow bots then we might be able to change something. edit: Not sure if it is a coincident but after Wired Magazine article, the Darkcoin bot on Cryptsy 'disappeared' what today it disappeared ?! might just reboot or something ! but sure we could totally boycott Exchanges into switching off Bots ! that could be an interesting experiment !!!
