2721  Economy / Reputation / Re: JollyGood and his devaluing attitude on: October 31, 2022, 01:33:33 PM
I don't know why, but after the last removing JG neg tag appeal, I expected a thread like this  Cheesy maybe I would have expected a thread called "Announce your inappropriate JollyGood feedback..."
maybe this could be a common thread for all those who feel that they have been unfairly marked by JG, to reduce the number of opening new topics with the same subject. Of course, OP can't be on their ignore list  Wink

Yes, really his feedback is a little sharper, seems to have less than zero tolerance for any hint of abuse. It is also obvious that he has made many mistakes and overreacted through negative tags.
I have actually seen several cases where JG changed the feedback after a suggestion, which in a way is the positive side of the whole thing. (for example, this was not the case for Lauda). now it's more a question for JollyGood himself, why did it happen that he often has to revise his feedback?
maybe he could review all his feedback once more and possibly change it to neutral, purely to prevent any new dramas. but I believe it is too much work.

As for the influence of such tags on participation in signature campaigns, I don't think it's a big minus. most serious managers know how to "read" this kind of feedback.

Recently I am seeing he is leaving neutral feedback to others for low quality posts and as he is taking it as a matter in his own hand. He could just report the low value posts to the moderator and could have a personal note for himself using a plugin created by TryNinja.

honestly, you're getting into a personal conflict here. A neutral tag is fine while it is only informative, but you try to turn his every word as a fact against him.

Quote
All these concludes me JollyGood may need to seek professional advice for his mental health. He do things out of overzealousness and obsession.

His mental illness is, he always wants to devalue others either it's with a negative feedback or neutral feedback (seems a new strategy for him because others are started to talk against the negatives recently*) or even in a dead conversation.

This is a very serious diagnosis you are making, you sound like a psychiatrist.
what is the difference between your conclusion and the one he left on your profile as feedback?
2722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bery simple crypto questions from a new player on: October 31, 2022, 11:55:11 AM
both are 114% raise but huge diffenrece in actuall coin value and market capacity. does it matter? or is it only the percentage of raise and fall.

let's ignore your math problem for a moment and try to understand what you wanted to say.
bitcoin is one currency but you didn't mention what other currency it could be. if the jump of both currencies is like that, then the value must be the same. if we assume that it is some shit token, its current value must be taken with a grain of salt, and it is equivalent only to the value for which you can sell them right away.
For example, some tokens have a $100k daily volume, and it is certain that you cannot sell at such a value on the same day with the given price.
2723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The primitive era had the best Bitcoin could offer!!! on: October 31, 2022, 11:14:25 AM
I believe that the happiest investors are those who bought early and forgot about them or for any reason did not have access to the wallet. someone who bought a lot of bitcoin for $2 I don't believe he kept them and waited for the $60k. I'm sure that much earlier it looked like a great opportunity for cashout.
therefore, I believe that the majority are from zero to hero bitcoin millionaires they actually became that by accident because they couldn't spend earlier.
2724  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance asking for KYC, again on: October 31, 2022, 10:27:30 AM
If possible, I would like to know precisely the reason for Binance asking for KYC again. did you contact their support and ask them?
at some point, the document with which I validated my KYC expired, and they only asked me to upload a new valid document. nothing controversial, I could even use the complete service regardless.

On the one hand, I'd prefer to withdraw all funds from any centralized exchange, such as Binance, but on the other hand, keeping my money in decentralized wallets such as Metamask doesn't sound too safe to me. There are a lot of scams and exploits going on, and you can never be too sure. For this reason, centralized exchanges appear way safer, and I believe that if anything ever happened to Binance, for instance, it would compensate its users.

I don't know the value of your asset, but it's probably time for you to think about a hardware wallet. (upcoming holidays always bring some discounts, maybe you can catch one of them). look at it as a long-term investment, because I'm assuming you don't plan to get out of cryptocurrencies anytime soon.
2725  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TOKPIE Exchange - scam on: October 29, 2022, 10:43:51 PM
I found this topic because I received an offer from TOKPIE about listing and adding my token (SONE) to CG, CMC, Etherscan.
And I have some doubts about whether it meets the requirements of CG. And will I be able to get the services TOKPIE specified in the offer, or after payment it turns out that my project does not meet the requirements of CG and I can not fix it in any way.
How can I be sure that my token is suitable for CG?

they Tokpie just want to take your money. it was discussed in the topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5377380
I certainly didn't trust them or enter into a deal with them.

Have you tried to communicate with Coingecko about the necessary conditions for signing up for their service? As I know, listing on their service (CMC also) is free.

2727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange platform with lowest fees on: October 29, 2022, 11:45:15 AM
As I know, the FTX exchange has no withdrawal fee for certain amounts in BTC. KYC is also not mandatory for them, it's a good basis to transfer coins to your wallet.
they should definitely be taken into account
you should definitely pay attention to whether a particular exchange allows deposits from gambling sites.

My neutral tag when the loan was taken
Quote
2020-09-08   EdenHazard took a private loan from me.

Oh mate, it has been more than 2 years since he took the loan. why did you leave for so long and why didn't you ask for money earlier?
judging by his other feedback, he actively participated in signature campaigns, Couldn't he give at least part of it to pay off the debt? I would say that he had no intention of returning that money to you.

I support your flag and leave them a negative tag, but I think you can forget about that money.

btw. I remember the Sportsbet promotion and the trip to Dubai, but how is this case related to this and the user himself?
2729  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io SCAMMED for $5000 on: October 28, 2022, 04:32:43 PM
After 3 months they replied nd guess what their verdict was ? "Give us more info" thats their reply to sportsbet.io

They reply 1 time every 3 months only

if you contacted them and stated the problem in the way you did here, I almost understand why you don't get answers.
And guess what we will tell you here? Give us more info about what is happened. Some proof, or anything?

Quote
- Do I think Sportsbet.io is scam? Not sure, because last month I played 2-3 million dollars (Yes Steve, check my September + October history) and they've always paid

Can you prove this with some unedited screenshots?
2730  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for web scraper that copies articles from multiple websites. on: October 27, 2022, 09:15:25 PM
...and posts them on another website automatically and on facebook. pm me with price, i have web template and hosting and all that just need the bot. payment in crypto and escrow only.
Contact forum AI AKA LoyceV :-P

copy/paste job, I doubt that Loyce will want to engage in plagiarism.

OP, I think it's better for you to look for a ready-made solution and possibly adapt a little to it, it will surely be cheaper for you. for similar things, you have a good selection of WP plugins, but I'm not sure how long bot auto-posting can work on FB.
2731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some coins or a hardware wallet? on: October 27, 2022, 07:29:26 AM
Erm. Probably help him correctly set up a software wallet on his phone then send him a certain amount of bitcoin. Not sure why DOGE is an option, knowing that Bitcoin's fees right now isn't even high.

if he is a beginner, and he obviously is, I am not sure how good it is for him to start with any phone wallet. Many things can go wrong there, just out of ignorance.
I worked as an internet provider reseller, and in general, most "beginners" do not have a clear idea of what online privacy means, or the importance of passwords/private keys.

^Of course, if gramps is planning on allocating a decent amount of money to bitcoin/crypto, then probably buy him a Ledger/Trezor.

Hardware wallets are probably the best starting point for everyone who is just starting to learn about crypto and wants to invest.
2732  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] List 800+ scam websites (Updated 27.October '22) on: October 27, 2022, 07:18:02 AM
Bump for October and new update with 40+ scammer sites.
I had the feeling that I found a slightly smaller number compared to previous periods, but I actually collected more of them than usual.
I hope this list will help someone save money.

2733  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reputation of DT members on: October 27, 2022, 06:40:54 AM
Yes. Of course I already told him.

I'm not sure if he can read your PM because of possible restrictions set according to Newbie. I just sent him a link to this thread, I believe he will read the message, it is up to him whether he will answer here.

I see Murat stays online every day even though he doesn't post.
I doubt he is not aware of this thread. maybe he has followed the discussion but has not commented.

many members come here just to do their work, and they are not very interested in "maintaining" the forum.
2734  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Gambling Site Directory on: October 26, 2022, 08:11:39 PM
I'm just looking at this site, it seems that there is a small bug here. On the gambling page, after hovering the mouse over any banner they disappear after that. if I hover over that field again, it appears again temporarily. it seems like some kind of game
For example.

2735  Economy / Reputation / Re: About My Red Trust (Remove Request) on: October 26, 2022, 06:02:55 PM
where can i find who give me redtrust sir help me.

On your trust page https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=3437384 and click Untrusted feedback > Show ratings.
There you will find one red tag from Little Mouse

Little Mouse    2022-10-26    Reference    Dishonest. Copied other people's work and submitted it as their own work to get bounty reward.

but this is a thread about a completely different user, we are going off-topic now. maybe you should open your own topic and be interested in your trust rating.
2736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit]It's almost 1 year being a Hero Member (Also Celebrating My Birthday) on: October 26, 2022, 05:47:07 PM
I know that celebrating my birthday here in Bitcointalk forum is off-topic to start with. So, to make this thread belong in Beginners & Help. I decided to give or reward smerit (I won't tell the total of smerits I currently have) to Newbies up to Member rank.

I'm glad about your progress here on the forum. I don't want to ruin your business here, but...
You should know, everyone can check your profile on BPIP https://bpip.org/Profile?id=1726595 and determine that you have earned a total of 582 merits so far while you sent 267. with simple math, you had a total (582/2) 291 sMerit to spend. when we subtract those you have already spent (291-267) we arrive at the result that you have about 24 sMerit remainings. maybe even less if your profile is not completely updated yet.

maybe we'll agree that it's not too much of an amount to start this kind of initiative, there are already several similar threads but started by members who are merit sources and who constantly have a significantly larger amount of sMerit.
For example, [Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank

btw. happy birthday to you and be well.  Wink
2737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what happens to bitcoin if the electricity and internet goes out.? on: October 26, 2022, 12:56:50 PM
I'm a newbie in bitcoin, and I want to ask everyone, what happens to bitcoin if the electricity and internet in this world goes out? whether bitcoin buying and selling transactions are still running or not?

if that were to happen, the world would be left without electricity and the internet, how do you think other things would work? 2Banks for example? all monetary transactions are made over the Internet. at that point, money would probably no longer have any value, many things would change.
So, any loss because of holding value in bitcoin would be insignificant.
2738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Posting on: October 26, 2022, 10:59:01 AM
The idea is that  pictures uploaded by other users have the same size as mine. It means that the problems lies not in the sizing.

maybe you should still write the whole procedure, what exactly you do when you try to put an image in a post.
What is image size in MB? Do you try properly to use third-party services for uploading images, like imgur.com used by example from your first post?
2739  Economy / Services / Re: I am looking for a person from Nigeria to help with small payment fee on: October 26, 2022, 10:22:26 AM
Hello everyone!

I am looking for a person from Nigeria (possibly someone with a bank account / bank card there) who will pay a small fee (around $12).
Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay this fee from outside.

I would suggest you go to the local Nigeria thread. quite an active community, and there you will find several members with a good reputation here. you will surely find adequate answers to your requests.

And yes, using escrow is certainly a good condition for safe trade.
2740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining ban in Europe on: October 25, 2022, 11:05:39 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2022/10/18/eu-countries-must-be-ready-to-block-crypto-mining-commission-says/
EU Countries Must Be Ready to Block Crypto Mining, Commission Says
"The European Union's executive arm also wants blockchains to show energy-efficiency labels and to end crypto tax breaks.
Europe represents 10% of global proof-of-work mining"

Can this affect the price of bitcoin or is this another anti-mining statement?

There will be definitely impact on the bitcoin price if it happens in reality. However, that will be temporary for sure! who have already invested millions of euros to setup their mining operations, they will simply move out of Europe and set up in a crypto friendly nation. It's very similar to what happened in China.

So I think a temporary impact will be seen in the market if the EU decides to go ahead with the ban but we should be able to come back on track within a short period of time.

I would rather say that the reason for this energy-efficiency "concern" is the current energy crisis caused by the war in Ukraine. shortages of gas and oil certainly raise the need for electrical energy.
ideas about saving energy are being encouraged more and more, decorative lighting is being turned off, and sometimes even street lighting. of course, bitcoin mining, which is always labelled as a big energy consumer can't be ignored when is a discussion about energy saving.
