"NSA" is not the same as "the banks." Likely the NSA doesn't really give a shit (at all) about the priorities of the banks. Most of them are probably good people who just want to protect the country. Many of them are probably like Edward Snowden -- remember where he was working?

The priority of the NSA is data collection, data mining, and systems penetration. (Not controlling the unit-of-account of our money system.)

There is the random thought that Satoshi is a group in the NSA.

They get a ledger of all transactions in the economy, self selected by the very secretive.
It uses their strengths, cryptography.
It gives more data than fiat does.
It is a daunting piece of work, it boggles the mind to think that a single individual pulled it off.

What is all that computational power really doing ?  hmmm ...

1 BTC + 2 BTC = 19,471,315.5946 ghash Huh

I'll take you up on that offer, bosian. It will make up for the 4-6 orphans I lost yesterday.

Thinking that I may have unfairly judged you and Graincoin, I decided to give it another try. As you can see, my second stint was short lived.

2731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL | Should Gavin decline or accept the CFR invite ? on: January 16, 2014, 05:55:27 AM
I find it strange how he and some others in the Bitcoin Foundation seemingly seek approval from the powers that be. Satoshi's original vision was clearly anarchist or libertarian. Isn't Bitcoin supposed to undermine the current monetary system? Isn't Bitcoin supposed to take power away from the banksters and their lackeys -- the politicians? Would Satoshi break bread with the CIA and the CFR?

An open CFR meeting might be okay, but this one's supposed to be closed.

I decided not to include the, 'accept - if the meeting is transparent', option because an open meeting can easily be staged and manipulated.

Whether we all agree or disagree is irrelevant, he is his own man and he can do whatever he wants.

While that is true, the Crypto community also has right to express how they feel about those descisions.

Main thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412846.0

This poll will remain open until February 6, the day of the meeting.

Please do your own research on the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR), its members and the other groups/ clubs they belong to, before participating in this non-binding poll.

UPDATE

With only a few more days to go before the meeting, I here by declare my opinion poll, a resounding success. Smiley

While it may appear that we, who oppose this collaboration with these indignants have lost, we have in fact won !

WE ARE THE 33% ! .. and counting.. Wink

WE represent the 90% of the world's population who do not have the resources and/or the capability to participate.

WE represent the enslaved, war torn peoples of the world.

WE, the real majority, WILL DEMAND JUSTICE !

So be it.

I'll repeat. Instead of abandoning this junk coin and hiring lawyers, he should donate to his puppet /newb run foundation. I was merely trying to show you where everyone's money is.

I vote that, if you do somehow manage to raise some funds, they should be redirected to the miners and investors who have suffered significant losses, thanks to this fudder'd coin. Kaidev and others have lost billions.

Btw, he knew EXACTLY what I wanted done with Vegancoin. Thus, the premine alone gives me just cause with regards to the refund request.

)Thanks everyone for all your feedback on any wallet issues you may have. I reconvene with Mullick on Monday and have been keeping notes of any problems.

We are currently proposing a change in the fee system in the wallet fix from the current fee (destruction of 0.1 col) to 0.05% which goes into the Development Fund.

Relying on donations alone does not work and is unbalanced, the people who end up paying Developers are the ones who are making the system better so are punished for working on the foundation.

Changing the fee system within the wallet fix spreads out the cost evenly between all users and provides extra liquidity for our upcoming relaunch where fees will be re-adjusted. The proposed blockchain would give us the ability to pay a portion of those fees to investors so they get coins from staking and coins from fees.

Here is a list of the Col donation wallets and all transactions are viewable.

Yup.. lets test the next generation APU on 9 month old drivers.

if u havent noticed.....

theres  a 0 there so its 13.30

the driver ur talking about is 13.3  not 13.30

our current driver number is 13.12 so 13.30 is probly a early alpha beta for the new Apu

LOLz at the junk coin schills !

Translated into Noob : 13.12 = 2013.December, 13.3 = 2013.March

http://www.overclock.net/t/1459109/guru3d-amd-catalyst-13-30-beta

u say what?

So much for the old driver naming scheme... lol

Why does the Bitcoin Foundation want to suck on regulation's dick so bad?

Our developers are turning into regulation puppets by mixing in with the politics.

You forgot to add the 'baited with $1000 BTC' part. Then multiply that by the 10 BTC/day one would make with a 60 ghash asic and a 3 million difficulty.

Lest we forget, the great asic easymine of 2013.

Baron M.A. Rothschild - “Give me control over a nation’s currency and I care not who makes its laws.”

Yeah. I'm not sure what to think about this. The CFR is the top of the pyramid. The group is the promotional arm of the ruling elite (the men behind the central banks - http://www.rothschild.com/banking/home/). I was under the impression Bitcoin's main selling point was not to be associated or controlled by a central banking authority. Yet one of the lead developers is breaking bread with them? The reason why the USA has a national income tax is because of the CFR. It was declared "Unconstitutional" in 1895 and the CFR lobbied to get it passed through congress headed up by Senator Nelson Aldrich.

It's definitely time to start looking at a different currency.. One focused on anonymity vs exposition. I'd suggest Anoncoin, Stablecoin and the upcoming Zerocoin. Those currency developers see what's coming around the corner and are making preparations to safeguard holders not expose them. I guarantee the developers of any of those currencies would of told the CFR to eat a bag of d**cks rather than meet them.

"To be paranoid means to believe in delusions of danger and persecution. If the danger is real, and the evidence credible, then it cannot be delusional. To ignore the evidence, and hope that it CANNOT be true, is more an evidence of mental illness." - Terry Melanson

Ty for that, wise newb. Wink

Very well put.
