so what if they add ltc on gox. all btc-e ltc moves to gox?
I've said this before, but here it is again: Litecoin is really only utilized by a small segment of nerds who are a sub-set of a slightly less small segment of nerds, though the latter is briskly growing to include average investors as articles about Bitcoin begin to saturate mainstream media. Most everybody who knows anything about Bitcoin, even the casual reader of mainstream publications, is aware of MtGox. BTC-E on the other hand -- what's that? When MtGox makes an official announcement of Litecoin and/or Namecoin support, it's going to open up the floodgates and expose a whole new segment of people to the chains and, in theory anyway, bring in a TON of new money. People are going to want to diversify their eCurrency holdings beyond just Bitcoin and MtGox is going to enable them to do that by offering viable alternatives.

The following is a PM I received from this scammer: please do not on the forum suggest I am a scammer without getting you facts straight! firstly I'm a girl. and just because I didn't get back straight away I live in Australia, so it was late and do need to sleep at night also I have to go through and reply too 101 scammers ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) The PM exchange where I started talking about escrow happened at around 11pm my time (USA), so that would put "her" time in Australia at around 2pm, plus or minus. I guess that's "late" at night over there or something.

I did apologize several times I had the wrong execution of the right idea, but the "attack" did work great in rallying LTC miners and getting some much needed work done in a hurry. Now to be very clear, Coblee did not take part in this other than simply knowing it was a bluff.
All I did was post an opinion and I still think that FTC is not out of the woods yet and this may spill over to LTC.
That's all I am saying. Yeah, I remember that, and it sounds plausible enough. You're still a dick though, but you're OG so I can roll it. And I think your theory re:FTC is kind of weak. IMHO it's being orchestrated by the same people who threw a hissy fit when NVC debuted -- but now they have some hashing power.

I remember Maddox's attempt to crawfish his way out of getting doxxed (MADDOXXED!) by claiming it was some guy who had stalked him for years LOLOL That was comedy.

Would you like a good trust score on Bitcoin talk? If you're so effective at getting people good Trust scores, why is yours -9?

If I had to pin it on a single person, I'd bet money it's ArtForz.

The US Government does not acknowledge the presence of bitcoins... They would probably help you if someone robbed you in person or hacked you...
The FBI, CIA, Federal Reserve and the Department of Treasury, Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice all have extensive knowledge of bitcoin. The recent FinCEN guidance, and DOJ/DHS action against MT GOX and it US subsidiary Mutum Sigillum make this clear and possibly indicate additional regulation and legislation coming. A simple "STFU" would have sufficed ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Is there a min all I got is .04? Don't even bother. A good chunk of that will be eaten up by the transaction fee.

Can I see any references to this please? I like to see the evidence with my own eyes before making judgements.
Maybe the fact that he has a "Scammer" title under his username: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=106297Beyond that, a quick search of the forum will yield some damning evidence.

Wow, what a worthless piece of shit, this Garrott Gardner.
Always remember rule #0: Newbies, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH OTHER NEWBIES, EVER. There are plenty of veteran members to do business with and ALWAYS use escrow. If you're a newbie you're doing business with another newbie, there's a 100% chance that you will get scammed (or you're a scammer yourself).

Goat, if you're looking at Gs, get a 2009+ since not only was that when they refreshed the looks, the chassis was sorted out by then. The LP cars are almost a completely different car from the 2008 and prior (different engine, quicker shifting tranny, etc). If you DO get a pre-2009 (which is going to be easier to do given your budget), try to get a Superleggera.

Litecoin, but not due to any technical merits (other than Scrypt), but because it has started to be accepted by some fairly big sites (The Pirate Bay comes to mind). If you want to gauge only by the technicals, then Namecoin and PPCoin are probably up there at the top of the list.

This thread started by a guy who is begging for a loan for an ASIC, which tells me he doesn't have enough BTC or LTC to buy one outright. So he's desperately trying to puff up the importance of some useless chain that he does have LOL Nice try! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
