The legality of Trump's actions are dubious, however it would be stupid politically to try to take action to try to stop it. Trump is redirecting money earmarked for FEMA to pay for the enhanced benefits, so there is money appropriated, which means it isn't a guarantee Trump looses in court. If Trump were to be stopped, Congress would need to sue the Trump administration, which means democrats would own it. Democrats suing to stop the enhanced benefits would mean they would take the blame for the stopped benefits, the lock-downs would be even more unpopular (hurting down ballot elections).

Pelosi and Schemer overplayed their hands in the negotiations. Biden meanwhile is in a tough spot, if he is supportive of Trump's actions, he is praising his opponent, however if he is critical of Trump's actions, he is seen as being against helping unemployed Americans.

The most genius part of all this is Trump holding the press conference at his NJ golf club, with members being able to attend, who are generally his supporters being how much they are paying to be a member there. This meant Trump got laughs, applause and cheering he would not normally get when making this kind of announcement.

I wouldn't be surprised to see republicans put up a fight as well since this is the kind of move conservatives have been campaigning on preventing forever.  A few have already spoken out on it.

Trump is trying to gut social security and decide what to do with the money on his own without congress.  Seems pretty easy spot for democrats to me - nothing they do would really change the view of people who believe they are 'against helping unemployed Americans'.

In the end I think Trump is pissing off the Republicans by stripping congress of power and Democrats for going after social security.

2723  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump is asking for a delay of the election. Should we do it? on: August 09, 2020, 06:57:59 AM
There was no basis for Sessions to recuse himself

Sessions was involved with the Trump campaign for almost a year.  The Trump Campaign was a subject of the investigation.  Republicans and Democrats both called for his recusal pretty much immediately because it was clear: If the AG has close ties to a political campaign that is being investigated, he should not be involved with the investigation.

just as we are now learning that there was no basis to start the investigations in the first place.

You must be talking about the another investigation into the investigators that's about to drop.

Don't forget, we already have all the indictments, the Mueller report outlining exactly how Russia was trying to influence the 2016 election and a bunch of  ties between Russia and the Trump campaign,  the 400+ page IG report criticizing the FBI but ultimately concluding the investigation was legal and not started because of or affected by political bias or any improper motivation, a few senate republican committees that agreed the Mueller report provided valuable information that will help secure future elections, I could go on...

There's actually considerable overlap in the delusional qualities of schizophrenics and those with Paranoid Personality Disorder. Speaking of the latter, here is a list of some of their characteristics:

  • Doubt the commitment, loyalty, or trustworthiness of others, believing others are exploiting or deceiving them.
  • Are unforgiving and hold grudges.
  • Are hypersensitive and take criticism poorly.
  • Read hidden meanings in the innocent remarks or casual looks of others.
  • Perceive attacks on their character that are not apparent to others; they generally react with anger and are quick to retaliate.
  • Cannot see their role in problems or conflicts, believing they are always right.
  • Have difficulty relaxing.
  • Are hostile, stubborn, and argumentative.

It's almost like 90% of somebody's presence on this forum (won't say who) is guided by a pathological state of mind.

I can respect that you don't want to call out Vod by name, and that is a very accurate description of his behavior. Thanks for that.

I think you take criticism very poorly.
2725  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Are They One And The Same: Get-Paid.com and Game-Protect ? on: August 07, 2020, 09:18:20 PM
it has been stated Get-Paid.com has been connected with game-protect in the past

Here's the connection:

Get-Paid.com is the only known person that Game-Protect successfully 'helped'.  (I think Game-Protect basically got lucky and harassed the right casino)

Thinking game-protect was legit, Get-Paid then went on to loan money (about 1k euro I think) to another casino victim in order to pay game-protect to recover their money from another site.  Obviously that money vanished.

So, for a while Get-Paid left the only positive feedback game-protect had, and game-protect used that as proof he was legitimate for a while.  In the end though, get-paid realized he was a scammer and changed the feedback accordingly.

Them being the same person just doesn't make sense.

Glad we found something we can agree on. TECSHARE looks up to you, if you were to reach out and explain to him you to him you don't think theymos is after him I think it would go a long way.  Just a thought.

Do you ever get tired of being pathetic and desperate or does being a belly crawling lying worm just come naturally to you?

Save yourself a little effort next time and just call me those things directly like this:

TwitchySeal is a pathetic and desperate belly crawling lying worm.

Haven't had time to read through details, but I highly doubt they (game-protect and get-paid.com) are the same person and I think anyone with any history with both of them would probably agree.

No.

I’m amazed he hasn’t been blacklisted after his actions in direct defiance of threats to do exactly that.

Do you think TECSHARE might be right about the whole "theymos and the mods made the DT system to abuse me" thing?

No one has ever heard of Karen Bass and Susan Rice was involved in Michael Flynn's partisan investigation. She hasn't been elected to public office either.

The Nat Sec Adviser (Susan Rice) was involved in the investigation into the incoming Nat Sec Advisor (Flynn) who, among other things, failed to register as a foreign agent of Turkey then lied about it on the forms when he did - also lied to the VP and Press Sec (who repeated it to the country) about his talks with Russia before Trump took office.

Only a really shitty Nat Sec Adviser would not be involved.

I don't get why Joe Biden feels so restricted to pick a black woman. Intersectionality is a hallmark of leftist politics but the fact that Biden's so restricted to a woman who is also black means he's going to pick someone inexperienced.

Unless he picks an experienced black female.  Like Kamala Harris or Susan Rice, for example.

"I am frankly appalled by the president's recent tweet seeking to postpone the November election. Until recently, I had taken as political hyperbole the Democrats' assertion that President Trump is a fascist. But this latest tweet is fascistic and is itself grounds for the president's immediate impeachment again by the House of Representatives and his removal from office by the Senate,"

My goal was not to have you removed from the default trust list until now.

That was 5 years ago^^^

You just do the same thing over and over again each time hoping it will end with vod destroyed and you the hero, and then you act all shocked and appalled when nobody really cares because you've been doing this constantly for how many years now?

Think about how much time and effort you've put into this beef with vod over the years.  You're clearly very unhappy that vod isn't getting what you think he deserves but maybe try focusing on something else when you feel that rage bubbling up.  Then go find some old rants and read them out loud to yourself.  You might be surprised at the rabid-yet-insecure pig vibes you give off when you get really emotional.

No one even asks him explain himself? He is literally not questioned in his actions by anyone any more? He is asked once for substantiation, he gives a total non-response, and that's it.
He’s explained himself a bunch of times over the past 40 pages of this thread and other threads. So have you. The people who care, and plenty who don’t care, are aware.
2738  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump is asking for a delay of the election. Should we do it? on: August 01, 2020, 09:07:20 PM
Trump has also faced near universal backlash on both sides of the isle. It appears Republicans are not supporting him on the issue of delaying the election. It appears this was an attempt to get the MSM to talk about the risks of voting via mail, but it also could result in him not getting the nomination next month.

I think it's more likely the tweet was an impulse and he's going to walk it back soon.

Trump has historically played 4-D chess with his political opponents. This got him the nomination in 2016, and the presidency. He lost big in 2018, but this was in large part due to Sessions recusing himself.

Unless Sessions agreed to behave unethically and then chickened out it's really Trumps fault for not nominating someone unethical enough to not recuse themselves from an investigation they had a conflict of interest in,
2739  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 🚫Avoid Bitcoincasino.io🚫 They scammed me with PROOF✅ CASINO CAUGHT LYING LOL🎲 on: August 01, 2020, 06:39:53 PM
Maybe you should be compensated for the first bet you made that was unable to be 'undone' due to the button not working.  Asking them to return the entire deposit, and also the next 5 deposits you dusted off is ludicrous.

When you made those next 5 deposits, did you really believe they would just give you your money back if you lost since the 'undo bet' button wasn't working?
Any casino allowing themselves to get free rolled like this would go broke very quickly.

I was under the impression that the casino was working properly. I have lawyers and either way my money will be returned because the casino confirmed that my game was malfunctioned during the session i was playing. If a malfunction occurred which gave players more house edge over the casino then those funds would be completely confiscated & returned back to the casino correct?
I switched over to roobet and i recommend anyone else to use roobet aswell Smiley!

That's not how it works.  You can't just degen away a bunch of money and then say "the button is broken, in fact it's been broken for my last 5 deposits so give them back right now".

Can't decide if you're just trying to get them to pay you something to be quiet or just inexperienced.  Either way, this is a waste of your time.

Pinning Floyd's head to the ground (via pressure on his neck) may seem excessive[...]
Pinning his head to the ground can be rationally defended, it's what he did afterwards that is the problem.  For almost 7 minutes of Flloyd begging for his life followed by 3 minutes while he appeared unconscious or dead he kept his knee on his neck.

If they were alone together and struggling for a weapon a few feet away (like in the movies) or something, that would be different...but he knew Flloyd wasn't armed and he had his partner helping him with Flloyd while 2 more cops watched their back.
As mentioned above, Floyd first started saying that he could not breathe before he was on the ground. The transcript posted above also reflects that the officers responded to Floyd's claim that he cannot breathe, saying that Floyd was talking (implying they thought he was breathing while talking).

Also, as mentioned above, pinning Floyd to the ground, including his head was not a means to protect the officers from Floyd, it was a means to protect Floyd from himself. Keep in mind that Floyd had apparently just intentionally slammed his head against the glass in the police car, intentionally harming himself.

Yeah, I have no idea how you can read the transcript and watch the footage and conclude that Flloyd was trying to hurt himself and the cop kneeled on his neck for 10 minutes to protect him.  I haven't found anything about bashing his own head intentionally though, it's possible I'm missing something I guess.

He was having a panic attack (it's common to feel like you can't breathe when this happens), he was terrified of the cops, he made it clear he had no intention of hurting them, he asked to lay on the ground and he begged them over and over to not hurt him and then to stop hurting him.
