Having some scientific understanding, the King has the words to describe the events but not the way to make sense of it.

First it became as if 7 times more illumine. The King remembered lightnings from his childhood, but this seemed take a longer time (time, as we know, was a bit surreal now anyway...) Then, it was as if the pressure of air inside the buildings became much higher than outside, cracking open the windows (the holes of doors had been shut with temporary doors to keep the cold out, so they could not relieve the pressure - or perhaps it would not have helped anyway) and throwing all the paned windows in the town, as far as the eye could see, to the air, and then to the ground, where they shattered to thousands of pieces, big and small.

The King and Mooo were covered with shards and something red started dripping from Mooo's forehead, as well as the back of the King's right hand. The King tasted - "blood", "that's something I haven't tasted in two centuries!" Mooo fainted.

Things needed to be organized quickly. From a first glance the destruction was total. From the second, the King realized that a few windows below the Throne Room were intact. As were some in the ground floor of the Noble Palace. Also the small holes in Notre Dame d'Armagnac still had their glass covering.

The first general mobilization since 1450 was ordered. (Ask me later what happened then!) The Army Companies were summoned with Aquilas, and in light battle gear, to restore order. It was soon realized that anyone, except the few very ancient (by birth) characters, abhorred blood and decided to stay inside rather. As order was naturally restored, the Army was tasked to clean up every shard of glass found in the town, in all its boroughs.

When the troops had received the experience how to deal with glass (and blood), the work was completed in rather quick order. They brought a report showing that

(1-C) Cathedral Notre Dame d'Armagnac, built 1432, consecrated 1448, Cathedral 1448
(5-C) Basilica di San Pietro, built & consecrated 1599, Church 1599
(1-C) Royal Palace chapel, built 1432, consecrated 1468
(1-C) Noble Palace chapel, built & consecrated 1480
(1-SE) Village chapel, built & consecrated 1510
(1-NW) University chapel, built & consecrated 1569
(2-S) The Prince of OZ North African Palace chapel, built & consecrated 1599

had been spared from the calamity. Every other building from the Throne Room (built in 1432) to The Prince of OZ Multicomplex (barely a year old, and with a great many windows as evidenced by its 1,700 million construction cost) stood windowless in the intensifying cold.

Then a messenger ran to the Platform, which had been made the command post (it did not really matter that it's outside, any more). "Sir," he started, "HE The Prince of North Face had removed the windows from his Palace and the research facilities in 1-N! The windows are spared!"

Many thoughts crossed the King's mind, all at once:
1. Good that we have someone who preserved his windows from the destruction.
2. My, oh my, did nobody else heed the warnings?  Cry Even I should have taken the time from the pressing duties.  Undecided
3. Wait a moment??! If Multicomplex is destroyed, and it was built after the year when the engineers swore that all buildings are earthquake-proof, it means - THAT THIS WAS NOT YET THE EARTHQUAKE.

"Sometimes things have to turn from bad to worse, before they get better," thought the King stoicly, glancing over his sword, his companion since times immemorial.

It is easy to make something to fill the hole in the wall that used to be the door. Inside, people were sitting in the gloomy daylight, many glancing at the windows.

Inside, people were sitting in the gloomy daylight, many glancing at the windows.

Then - the ground started to tremble. Again.

The King was enjoying his afternoon walk and notices Mooo wondering about Zenon. Since Zenon and the King have a special relationship, Mooo started to receive information that was once commonplace but has fallen into obscurity with no appearances of Zenon since 1532, when he paid a visit to the King, perhaps to commemorate the centenary of the Throne Room.

Zenon hardly lives in the town in the usual sense of the word. But he does have a residence, the walled castle next to his friend's, Dr. Choo's (The Prince of Soul) haw. The haw is walled but still empty, because Soul pondered in the 1520s whether to build a palace there or acquire a more central dwelling. As the King had negotiated a lot facing the Central Square, it was deemed better to build a central residence, and the Embassy Tower was thus completed in 1528. In addition to being the most expensive single land trade (after the TIE haw), the Embassy Tower was also the most expensive non-royal building ever constructed so far (beating the Noble Palace with a close margin of 100+ million). It still has the most exclusive private residence in town, with 320% luxury, tied with the House of Magnificence Great Hall, leaving behind the Town Council Meeting Room, The Prince of OZ North African Style Palace Great Hall and the Church meeting hall above the narthex in San Pietro....

The King's blabber had not taken Mooo that much closer to understanding Zenon's whereabouts when something indescribable happened.

It started as an ordinary day...

It is easy to make something to fill the hole in the wall that used to be the door. Inside, people were sitting in the gloomy daylight, many glancing at the windows.

Days went by and the cold intensified. The idea of not having doors for just because some Royal Proclamation was starting to feel stupid for many. Rumors said that the King had devised a ruse to help with his finances. He likes carpentry and has even made elaborate pieces of furniture himself, and some say he was boasting in Arco Di Sergiu Fine Restaurant that the warehouse of doors 20 meters below is worth 10,000 million. (This cannot be true, however, since at the time of manufacture, they hardly cost 500 million in total, and not all architects used them due to unnecessity of paying for something that "does not add value".

Then - the ground started to tremble. Again.

Have you closed hopea.fi store in Helsinki.
Walked by this week... Looked dead...

Not really. You had bad timing, I'm sitting there 50 hours per week minimum  Cheesy

It started as an ordinary day...

Well... day would be a strange expression because they were not days in the normal sense, as if the time had been paused, and people had gotten used to it.

All the doors had been removed from most of the buildings because of the Royal Proclamation earlier. This was done in such a haste that the owners put them in large warehouses and only the information on Anciety (Most Ancient, Ancient) and the size of the door was retained. Similar thing had happened with stone in the early days. The largest collection of old doors was now hosted in the Arco di Sergiu Exhibition Hall, it being centrally located almost in 1-C, and the 527 sqm hall being in the first floor, vaulted throughout to bear the main body of the Arch above.

People on the streets started to feel a strange thing: cold. Nature had not attacked the Kingdom for longer than most could remember. The NPC's born here had not literally felt cold in their lives. Or yes, the kind of cold that afterwards makes you feel warm and toddy taste better. But not the kind of cold that is frightening, the kind that you feel in your bones that something is about to happen.

It is easy to make something to fill the hole in the wall that used to be the door. Inside, people were sitting in the gloomy daylight, many glancing at the windows.

Remove your Doors!

You remember around 1470s or so, we started making good doors in the grades of Normal, Strong, Grand and Opulent. Normal was later dropped as needless. The tremors are increasing and we do not want to lose these Ancient doors in case some of the buildings collapse or suffer damage. We suggest temporary doors should replace these Ancient doors that would be put to safe places for future use in these, or possibly other, buildings.

It is also known to the wise since the beginning, that most of the items we have been using in our normal life during the Ancient era, will start to suffer deterioration, and indeed this has started! Each character can only save what is most precious to him, after which everything that is not written in the Great Book of the Very/Most/Ancient Items will be lost forever.

In a few days, building architects give a free spinoff of ancient grand and opulent doors to everyone who has them in the buildings. Gold features will likewise be listed. Characters receive AIC from reaching certain levels, owning luxurious buildings, and from culture points amassed. They can use this to "purchase" Ancient Items in 12 categories, after which they will not be able to be created in the game.

This will be announced officially when it is the time to act.

These updates have been applied at the NEW HOME OF THE LIST:

Community Hall of Fame

Wow, that seems nice. My offer concerning the ingame hosting of the list seems needless, but the bonuses I will of course give to everyone who registers in CK in the appointed timeframe!  Cheesy

These bonuses, in total 2,102 CKG and 105 CUL (altogether about 1,000 XMR), have been credited to the 21 HoF-ers! Smiley

The Crypto Kingdom Round Table

- - - nothing this great has happened since the Noble Palace was built 120 years ago - - -

We announce a club for the truest Knights in Crypto Kingdom, forever limited to 50 members, and enforced by the membership token dating back to 1520, the Trust In Economy Gold Bar (1,600 CKG).

The history of everything "TIE" is that the year 1504 was scheduled to be the start of the Online version. Things, however, went seriously wrong and no Online version was there. Confidence was at an all-time low and even the rate of the passage of time needed to be changed, to allow enough time for things to be developed. It was even in doubt whether the year 1600 would be reached at all, being still 80 days away.

There was a fundraiser including many things, among them these gold bars. In the end, all the 50 numbered and signed-by-HM bars ended in Forte Spagnolo's hands, since nobody else had the confidence.

Now we are in the year 1600, and the game is just about to start blossoming in a meaningful way. To mark the start of the new era, HH The Prince Riccardo of Forte Spagnolo, recently nominated CEO, opens his vault to show all these 50 bars untouched, and neatly stacked, as they were 80 years ago...

The Crypto Kingdom Round Table is a club, the membership of which is limited as follows:
- 10 members now (near V.4)
- 20 members From the day V.5 is released
- 30 members From the day V.6 is released
- 40 members From the day V.7 is released
- 50 members From the day V.8 is released

Because the membership, and the seniority status, is based on which numbered TIE Gold Bar (HMB1520) they hold, there will be 5 auctions in total, one starting soon for the bars #3-10 (#1 being saved for Prince Riccardo himself, and #2 he gifted to HM after realizing that for the Majesty to compete against his subjects in this kind of matter is undesirable), and others in ~2 months intervals as new versions of the game are released.

The bars are freely tradable and one character may hold several, the lowest number showing his precedence in the club. Membership does not require further qualifications except holding the bar. (If holding is circulated in an unseemly way, a transfer fee may be added).

The auction date will be announced soon. Bars are auctioned separately starting from lowest number (premium only). A donation of 100% of the price paid is added and goes to the Crypto Kingdom Round Table, a Foundation. One of the early things will be to build a Clubhouse, and possibly fill it with Ancient Items that the members donate.

For the clubhouse, my idea is to find a 3x4 lot in the Old Town and build in a similar, monumental, style as the NP and GH, but with larger facilities and more of everything. It's not easy to find suitable lots, though... Go and check, and tell me your ideas Wink

It's starting to feel 1450-1480 once again!

I mean when will the Crypto Kingdom GAME(with graphics) go online?

Never. According to OP, it is not a graphical game, in any post-1991 sense of what it means.

1980s graphics it has had since October.

We are about to launch a more interactive version, yes, but if you refuse to call what we have now a GAME, you are a little ridiculed by the people who have spent thousands of hours playing it already.
2731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ► ► ► Cryptonic PHYSICAL MONEROj for SALE on: March 21, 2015, 02:32:32 PM
Pre-ordered pure silver Moneroj have been produced and now are prepared for shipment.

One pure silver Monero will be reserved for HM The King if he kindly agree to accept it as a thank you for all his invaluable contributions...

We can force it to be produced before the first one available for sale!

Since the maker of these coins has shown recognition to our Royal Majesty, we find it worthy and expedient to procure the first CKG gold coin ever minted and gift it to him in exchange.

CR1400E-1 history is as follows. The very day Crypto Kingdom idea first surfaced to the King and Earl d'Armacnac, in 1400 A.D. (2014-10-10), the gold started flowing to the Kingdom (consisting of those two noblemen alone, basically, before there was a anyone else, or a street or a building in the town). On the very first year, 10,000 CKG were mined, and the King felt so grateful towards the Earl that he gifted all of it to him. The gift included 20*CR1400E allocated gold coins, the rest being unallocated, of which no items survive.

The game started and went on for 200 years (until March, 2015). During this time the CryptoTown was founded, other Boroughs were opened, more people submitted themselves to the rule of the King, and the Kingdom now has 93 Ancient characters and 1871 NPC's. Hundreds of buildings were constructed, 10,000s of XMR were spent on beautifying them, etc.

Then the gold mining stopped and it was the time that people became interested in what they have. The records from 200 years of gold transfers were opened and the current owner of about 5,000 gold coins was meticulously found out. Each of the 20*CR1400E that were minted from the first gold existing, still belonged to their original recipient, now His Grace The Bishop, Marquess d'Armagnac, MG-3, AOK-K, AOD-Maj, etc.

Since gold coin collecting had become big in the Kingdom while the game was paused and under preparation for the transfer to the Online version, and many wanted to get their hands in these coins, perhaps the most valuable there is and will be, HG The Bishop has distributed 18/20 of the to the market and the coin now has a float of 8, meaning that this many of the coins belong to people who have more than 1.

HM The King has bought back, at a full price, some of the coins he originally gifted. This was determined to be the first one of the mint run and will now be given to Cryptonic. It will reside in the game.

Collector's Gigapack has now many rare coins (as usual). Among some of the 24 that you get by buying the pack, these may be the most valuable in the morrow (mintage in paraphrases):

Most Ancient coins:

CR1460E (20). With a float of 12 currently, this coin is still affordable enough to be included in the Gigapack. Only 3 more will be distributed and then the value will be determined by the market.

CR1478E (40). A developed coin with 18 owners and 22 float. Older than the Noble Palace (built 1480).

NF1500E, NF1500J, NF1500Y (60-80). These coins are a complete set that NF minted 100 years ago recently after ennobling and before becoming one of the top nobles in town (before becoming "NF" in fact, since North Face is his Earldom, given only in 1514!). This coin set is a clear pick for a winner in the future (who knows if NF will become King?  Shocked - j/k of course .... ).

BF1500Y (50) An almost rare coin from 1500.

Ancient coins:

CR1510E (40). A coin with limited mintage from the time of populating the East (1-E).

CR1528E (20). With a float of 13 currently, this coin is still affordable enough to be included in the Gigapack.

CR1537E (20). With a float of 17 currently, this coin is still affordable enough to be included in the Gigapack.

NI1600E (50). An almost rare coin from 1600.

And the price for the whole 24 coins is still 40 million... So three (!) solid gold most rare 20-mintage Ancient CR-coins, a complete set of young Jacket, etc valuable and common coins, for only 40 million...

Churches and Chapels

As a piece of information, we have compiled a list of sacral buildings listed according to seniority:

(1-C) Cathedral Notre Dame d'Armagnac, built 1432, consecrated 1448, Cathedral 1448
(5-C) Basilica di San Pietro, built & consecrated 1599, Church 1599
(1-C) Royal Palace chapel, built 1432, consecrated 1468
(1-C) Noble Palace chapel, built & consecrated 1480
(1-SE) Village chapel, built & consecrated 1510
(1-NW) University chapel, built & consecrated 1569
(2-S) The Prince of OZ North African Palace chapel, built & consecrated 1599

The Church has plans to build a Church in 2-C, since the Borough is tightly inhabited especially after the recent construction of the Triple Towers.

Culture & Science totally lacks any sacral buildings, though the PofC&S has 2 rooms very fitting for such use.

Other new construction projects are less urgent, although in principle every inhabited Chapelry should have a chapel...

The actual HoF will be hosted elsewhere, as was later decided.

But bonuses here will remain! I decided to update them myself, and it is now done! Smiley

Results:
- 2,102 CKG total was gifted to the 20 recipients. This gold is worth 897 XMR at today's rate.
- 105 culture was created to the 21 recipients. The immediate effect of this culture is that it gives a 10 AIC freebie. These item creation points may be used to create for example:

* ~2 silver coins
* a piece of furniture, a carpet, or another small-medium custom item
* up to 5 custom copper items
* any book

It is achievable that the resale value of these ancient items will reach up to 5 XMR, so this means another 100 XMR worth of donation.

Always happy to give Smiley

The Most Ancient and Wise Community of the Monero House

The first organization character created to the game, Monero House, is feeling the renaissance.

The organization was established and the House was built in 1-C-A3 in 1450, almost 14 decades ago. The House was designed to be 2-story with 2 mezzanines, but due to the haste in constructing it for the Golden Jubilee, only HG The Bishop and the King were contacted for donations. They split the cost of construction and the lot was donated by the Town. Only the lower half of the House was constructed, and it stands to this day.

The House has a Monero Info Center, a Tavern with a cabinet, and some offices/hotel rooms. The Monero House hotel was the first hotel in the town, closing after 100 years of operation in 1550. The Monero House is proud of its shrewd manager (MGR-5) who is currently leased to HM The King, and is administering the Royal Household, one of the largest households in the game with a 10 NPC strong management and 67 million annual expenditure.

What is happening now is that the Hall of Fame, formerly residing in BCT, will be transferred to CK with all its prizes and privileges. The people who have a rank in the BCT HoF, will be credited an equal rank in the CK HoF. To make the transition possible, the holders of the ancient titles from the BCT era, will have to register to CK. Well, that is as easy as contacting the nearest administrator. For the ones that register during the Ancient era, approximately 10 real-days, the following bonuses are credited:

- 1 CKG (currently valued at about 0.3 XMR) for every 10 XMR donated during BCT HoF, + 10 CKG directly from His Majesty
- CUL points based on a formula tba
- CUL points spawn Ancient items later in the game
- Titled Ancient in the game + the rank gained in the HoF is Ancient

So yes, based on your earlier donations, you now get bonuses, valuable items that are soon listed to an exchange. That's how Monero works! Smiley

It's good to update every once in a while...

pre-pre-ANN: Concerning the changes that shall happen in A.D. 1600

New gold will not be generated to HM_The_King after there is 1,000,000 gold in the game. This ends in 1598.

Happened.

Quote
The online version gold generation will not start until the 1,000,000 gold is first generated. From then, new gold will be generated prorated to the playing time at a rate of $0.025 per hour. No fractional gold, rather it is some kind of a lottery. (Currently about 1 CKG == 90 minutes of play.)

Will happen, although the rate is now 1 CKG per 10 hours of play.

Quote
Stone will not be generated as a result of gold staking in 1600 or later, ie. 1600.1 is the last year to get stone. Quarries will continue operating as before.

The remaining stone staking was paid as a lump sum long ago. New stone will be able to be generated in V.5, or perhaps V.4.1 if the existing supply dwindles fast.

Quote
The passage of time is slowing. This is not yet fixed, but one option is that 1 real-day will correspond to 1 month (probably a month having only 24 days for ease of interface). Therefore, one real-year will be approximately 30 game-years.

1 real-hour will be 1 game-day, but game-months have only 24 days. This will make 1 real-day equal to 1 game-month, and 1 real-year about 30 game-years.

Quote
Any bonds that extend to over 1600 are given such that their payback is in real-days. The loans the bank will give expire at 1600 the latest, until more information is known.

Will happen as promised.

Quote
The online version schedule is changed so that Economy (subgames, pools) comes before Sandbox (user-customizable trollboxes, casinos). This bridges the gap between online and googleDB that is currently quite wide.

The V.4 will have most of the Economy, and also many aspects of Sandbox.

Complete Items management (coins in 3 metals, gold items, other items) will be implemented for the Ancient characters but will be hosted in a google DB as an owner registry only, with no ingame effect. (If payment for trades is not in kind, it must be done as a "gift" ingame, for the DB will not have moneretos balances, which are transferred to the game).

Quote
The people will start eating and drinking for sustenance, and operating restaurants becomes even more interesting with the new subgames of securing the cheapest and/or best food supplies, with periodical low availability.

This is postponed to V.5.

Quote
Currently all Nobles will need to have their primary town residence in the Old Town. This will probably be relaxed so that the main residence (the main palace in a haw) can be in any borough, as long as a Nobleworthy townhouse (such as Earls' Street-King's Park style) is in the OT.

The King will ennoble whomever he sees fit, but this will be among the criteria.

Quote
Nobles Earl/Countess or higher will receive fiefs (taxing rights) in the countryside. So the produce from there is divided between the King and the Nobles, with the peasants getting some also. Once small farming subgame comes (probably not yet, since it requires lots of commoner PC) they will also enjoy the produce. To get fiefs to work properly, significant investments in the land castles and roads may be needed. In these times, taxes were not withheld from salary but needed to be collected with a (show of) force yearly. Keeping standing armies in the countryside becomes thus helpful in the collection of taxes that each noble is rightfully entitled to, and training them or at least the leaders in the City in advance is not necessarily a bad idea.

This is postponed to V.5. Army will have a subgame with other uses meanwhile.

Quote
The people (PC and NPC) will start to get sick and eventually, die. This is a new subgame including formulas how to get sicknesses, how to cure them, and what kind of living is most supportive for longevity. The physical age of the PC is set to their starting age, and it will advance 30 game-years per one real-year. The Nobles who have access to best food, healthy living and medical care, can expect to live approx. 60-80 years old. The commoners and NPC with no such means die in 40-50 years of age. Both groups may die accidentally in any age, or in wars or jousts.

This is postponed to V.5.

Quote
The buildings will start to be taxed by the town. Borough councils will at some point be opened to spend this tax for the public works in the Borough.

Taxing will happen. Tax will be earmarked for public works.

Quote
Building maintenance

The buildings will also start to require maintenance. The maintenance (unlike tax, or guarding that's already implemented) is a one-time event in a form of a building project. During maintenance, the structural damage may be repaired, additions/changes done, luxuries adjusted, and the whole building becomes "new" for the purposes of some formulas, while retaining the "old" bonuses of the others.

Buildings will have a repair% indicating their state of repair. It will affect the uses of the building. The % will go down with time. With a Renovation Project, it is possible to restore the repair%. Renovation is labor-intensive, no new stone is needed.

Quote
The ancient buildings that have stood for up to 168 years at that point, are assessed for structural damage and given the "repair need" slip.

This will be included in the repair%, with the most unfortunate ones suffering "collapse" event triggered by too low repair% caused by the earthquake.

The collapsed buildings must be built anew. 90% of the stone is recovered.

Quote
Structural damage is caused by the following factors:
- age of the building
- width of the low-arch (la-4 is slightly more susceptible than the harmless la-2/la-3)
- large windows (any windows wider than 1 are more susceptible, also if height is 3 or more, on the other hand, repairing windows is cheap, only the window need to be repaired)
- roof gardens (since these rest on the roof, the water leaks can easily deteriorate the roof beneath)
- height of the building (obviously, the taller, the more strain the lower levels get)
- columns (when done correctly, immense vertical load can be concentrated on them, but one crack can lead to a danger of collapse threatening people's life - if such is found, often the whole roof supported by the column needs to be replaced in the process of changing the column. Only recently the "strong columns" started to be made from solid blocks of stone)
- maybe others
- excessive height of the rooms

The following are not as susceptible, or even helpful:
- Colonnades/arcades (Town Hall) they protect the facade somewhat, and are easy to repair
- High-arch (this is constructed at a much higher proficiency than the low arch. If it is supported by walls and not columns, or if they are good, this lasts centuries)
- Pilasters and buttresses (protruding elements of stone from the facade are not only beautiful, they also serve a support function
- Pedestal (serves in keeping the floor dry, and not only that but the foundations of the walls as well)

These, as well as the building age, are taken into account in the initial "earthquake" grading of the buildings.

It is not yet decided how this will take effect, but since the matter is of a great financial importance, we give the estimate that on average the repair cost of 50% of the building cost value of the buildings may be assessed (heavily weighed towards the old and/or risky buildings above). The repairs in most cases are not urgent, and given the new rate of the passage of time, they may often wait for real-months, even years. The purpose is to make the old buildings conform to the new scheme of building deterioration.

50% average loss will not be reached due to the following factors:
- Repair does not affect stone, even Collapse affects it only little
- There are few very old buildings in town suffering the most (only 24k sqm from 1400s)
- Buildings 1580 and after are exempted of all damage (28k sqm)

There is no special hurry to repair anything, since the effects will be felt in the formula and when to repair is a normal business decision.

The most skilled Butler serje (BUT-9), of the Royal Palace, remembers well how particular HM is about clothes, including the trip to Rakvere to procure an uniform for him for the upcoming Malla conference, and how he remembered to take a silk pinstripe suit with him for the next one. Thinking that the matters would likely turn from bad to worse if HM is further insulted, he sends the package back unopened and does not notify HM.

The Marquess of Tavastia degraded

"We announce with great sorrow that the conduct of our son, The Marquess of Tavastia, has been unacceptable. Even after years, we cannot accept that he sold his only Ancient Noble Suit, which was made in 1450, an Introduction gift from us. We generally tolerate his profit-seeking behavior but when you are down to the last one (by being just introduced in 1450, when the clothes were first made, and too skimpy in 1500, when clothes were last made, Tavastia did not have but one set), you should not rid of it or face the gameplay consequences.

- The Marquess must surrender his King's Favor Badge from 1480.
- The Marquess sells his Gold Coin collection to the King for 300 million <-note the sum. (The line 36 will be used as King's Gigapack Reserve from now.)
- The Marquess is prohibited from coming to the presence of the King or any other decent person in unnoble clothes, and in general would be best to stay in his palace during daylight hours."

Jack Daniel born

During the years it has become increasingly evident that the Marquess is not high in the list of the suitable candidates to be designated Heir to the Throne. Not that the King was old or anything, but he takes pride in arranging matters beforehand if possible.

The strange time that on the one hand things seem to be happening, but on the other, the cash registers seem to have the same balance in the end of the day, has afforded the King the opportunity to visit his wife in the distant city. Since the boy is healthy and being taken care of, as the King concentrates on ruling, it is now time to announce:

Unlike everybody (including Tavastia) naturally believed, the coin ZE1600T is NOT commemorating the birth of the Marquess (he is 164 years old and the names also do not match) but the new son! He will be recognized Jungherr upon his Introduction when he turns 14 or a suitable age to affirm the duties of a man. Whether he or any of the current or future nobles is designated the Heir, remains to be seen. It takes character to be a rightful King.

Jacob/James Daniel Zechariah John was born 2015-3-2 to be my second child.

(As for the coin, the buyers get to keep them, and Tavastia the money that he so much loves, and trading the duplicates is OK in my books, but the future distribution will be to the select few by His Majesty only.)

The CryptoMuseum is gifted 1*ZE1600T by the King.

CKG:  If you ever wanted a private castle in the clouds, you will need some cloud stones, for which you need Crypto Kingdom Gold.

I just sent my little sister 1,000 gold so that she can play the game. She promised to return it after the ancient era. I reminded that 540,000 stone (5,400 tonnes) worth 54 XMR will still be hers after staking the gold for 90 days... Cool

A snippet from the past. It is already 5 months since this happened, but what originally was a 1,000 gold loan and afaik no further cash injections, has now become Countess Roopatra, and forgive me for opening it up but the information is public anyway:

- 8,150 CKG (3,480 XMR)
- 32 q of land and 2,827 sqm of buildings (2,000 XMR)
- An empty 12 q haw in 1-NE (1,200 XMR, though haws cannot be sold)
- a collection of rare gold coins (500 XMR)
- 320 mil (320 XMR)
- 246 AIC from mainly around A.D. 1500 (150 XMR)
- 209-year old character born in the 1300s, with up to 2 real-years to go (??)

So next time when you consider talking to the Noble characters in the game in a disrespectful way, please be reminded that the players take the game somewhat seriously, otherwise they would have sought to cash out some of the value they have ingame - that is more than your car, dude!  Cool

private castle in the clouds

Prophetic.

worth 54 XMR

Lulzy.

James Syme bursts out of the doorway of his house, blinded by the natural daylight he recovers to see residents of CryptoKingdom pulling cartloads of boxes of newly minted gold coins. "What a fascinating new trend" me says to himself."

Later that day he arrives at the bank in a magnificent carriage made of blackened wood and brushed metal pulled by two exotic tamed giraffes with tophats attached to their heads by means of leather straps. The always helpful employees of the bank greet him and take him down to the scene of their startling discovery. "My goodness" he utters. "This is truly an astonishing turn of events". The manager opens the door to the vault containing the coins, however Syme has already wandered over to the wine racks. "I never knew we had wine down here". He cracks the top from a bottle with his sabre and drains it to the astonishment of all present. "They are partially mine after all".

The staff rolled their eyes.

Earl James' difficult-to-follow description warrants clarification.. (Wine is healthy in this Kingdom, but it does make the speech funny)

So he has arrived to the scene, but knows nothing of the missing coins? Is there any idea what to do with the remaining ones?

Hypothecary Bank rumors...

Coin collecting has spread like a wildfire in the Kingdom. His Majesty alone has sold 14 gigapacks, each containing about 30 coins of the 128 listed. The value of the collectible stock of coins (premium only) has been appraised at 11 billion. It consists of 10,000 instances, so an average coin is valued at about 1 million.

CR-coins have found even greater favor than collector's coins in many cases: at least 3 of them have last sold for 20 million! His Majesty alone is rumored to have spent 100 million in acquiring several CR1400E coins, which he believes will become the most sought after coin when the market settles. It is not hard to believe so, because it is among the lowest mintages (20) and the first coin ever minted, and it was minted from the first gold ever mined, in the first year of the game, 18 years before the game started accepting characters (except His Majesty who minted these coins and gave them to the designer companion The Earl d'Armagnac, MG-3, as part of the initial gift of 10,000 CKG), and 30 years before the Most Ancient CryptoTown was founded!

But the rumors concerning the Bank are scandalous to say the least! It is commendable that the Bank has for all these years hosted a Wine Cellar, and is the 17th most cultured character surpassing many Nobles, and ...

WHY is it so difficult to just spill it out??!

The Bank has - supposedly - cornered the supply of CR1569E gold coins, due to the normal rule of receiving 20 of them if buying gold that year so that the amount is divisible by 100, and being the only buyer. That was the year when there was the solvency crisis approaching with Grand Hotel and ABC Corp, and (it sounds incredible now), Grand Hotel was actually put in a receivership, and ABC technically still is. The Bank bought gold with the money it did not want to lend to the overextended debtors.

But they went to the vault to get the coins, and found only 10!! An investigation was conducted, and only then me, the CEO, notified. What's more, they marked the 10 coins with a mint mark, so that the thief (if such exists, and is found) would be caught for having illegitimate coins not having the mark.

Well, it's hard to wrap your head around this. For now, the 10 coins are hosted in the Royal Palace; the security of the Vault-cum-Wine Cellar is seriously questioned.

I don't usually ask for advice from the stockholders, but when I do, I am totally puzzled. The large ones: King, James, OZ, iluvbitcoins, Foreign Investor 1, please?
