There's always a big sacrifice for players playing overseas, first they will missed their family and usually the contract is only short term. So if they want to enjoy a good salary, I guess they should take care of their body too so if the contract expires and they will not be renewed anymore at least there's still another home which is the PBA that could potentially sign them.

Good chance for the Knicks to win against the Sixers but honestly I would not bet on this game, I realized that despite the absence of Embiid, Sixers are still winning and they are 3-1 in their last 4 games without Embiid including a win against the knicks (99-96). Lakers. Yeah sixers are a good team without him too so its definately going to be a good game, hopefully the knicks can be on the right side of the score. They need get a decent string of wins together. That 7-8-9 spot in the East is going to be a battle between a ton of teams. Rough game. Terrible ending too, first with the foul that the refs wouldn't let thibs challenge, and then on the other side Randall's shot that went in and out. Shame that would have been a solid win. Knicks is still unlucky, last time they played it's also a close game and they lose, same scenario happen in that game. I'm not sure but from how I recall it rookie have a maximum salary of 150K/month,. while PBA players maximum salary is 420K, though for superstar for sure there are additional bonuses and some allowances that behind the regular contract. That's the very reason why stars are eyeing to land with either SMB Corp or Pangilinan group of companies for much better bonuses. There's really a big difference, so for 3 years this rookie is only getting 150k per month, I guess that's only a small amount considering the inflation now and that he might not receive a lot of bonuses and the like since he is not playing in a championship contender team. |

I think this is one of their retirement plan wherein it’d be easier for them to earn that amount of money without playing the sports they were known for. Some even would run for government officials because people already know them when they were an athlete.

I can’t say it’s pure fate but I think it’s more of strategies and skills because if you know the strategy of the game then you’ll definitely win most of the time. The lack of control though is within you, either you get greedy and play more to get more wins or you stop at a certain amount of wins and just be contented.

What a relief from those two who are just watching and taking a rest. But I'm wishing them to be back as soon as possible to see the full potential of this team as a candidate for the finals.
Yes, both are happy with what Harden did in that game. Actually Pacers were up double digit but Nets rally and in the 4rh quarter they take over the game. Still Harris contribution is consistent, hopefully he will be able to maintain his numbers once the 2 stars will return. I think this is the first time to see that their bench players have shown what they've got.
