2721  Other / Meta / Re: Strange problem with Bitcointalk website. Have anybody experienced this same? on: October 20, 2019, 07:09:55 PM
This thread might answer your questions since the forum downtime lately and theymos even had made maintenance earlier.

...Ah, Last of the V8s edited his post, links are posted there already for reference.
2722  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to recover Ledger to other online wallet? on: October 20, 2019, 07:01:05 PM
Since I have not done this before please bear with me, since I have both bitcoins and ETH in my ledger, what if I use my recovery phrase for a bitcoin-only wallet like Electrum, what happens to my Ethereum, or I can actually use the same recovery phrase on a ETH-only wallet like MEW and also get my ETH.
Yes, it will probably work and your coins will be recovered the same thing with some coins (BTC, ETH, LTC, etc..) you have on your ledger recovery phrase once imported on some wallet that supports the same format as ledger.
2723  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Aegis Authenticator, isang maganda alternative sa Google Authenticator/Authy on: October 20, 2019, 06:34:24 PM
Nice, yung backup feature (export as .json file) yung reason why I installed the app which is wala ito sa authy I'm not sure sa google auth since di na ko gumagamit nun. Since nung nawala phone ko at on that time parang walang backup feature din yung google auth kaya daming account yung di ko ma access included coinsph account ko kaya I moved to authy at baka mapalipat na din ako dito.
2724  Other / Meta / Re: Database Error and slow forum on: October 20, 2019, 03:06:31 PM
I just got access to the forum again after some tries earlier, seems the distress and maintenance is over?

Taiwanese electronics giant HTC has launched its new smartphone Exodus 1s, enabling users to run a full Bitcoin (BTC) node on mobile.

This sounds common for smartphone manufacturer makes a new smartphone related to crypto or blockchain, but running a full node in this phone is quite a twist.
2726  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is smartmixer.io legit ? on: October 19, 2019, 07:19:25 PM
Old ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2815450.20
New one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5172400.0

Both had some pending issues. So its clear that it isn't really safe to deal with this mixer.
Smartmix.io is obviously different from SmartmixER.io, the link of the ann thread was already posted above by some user.
2727  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is smartmixer.io legit ? on: October 19, 2019, 04:16:11 PM
Can't see any major issue regarding their service but won't recommend them since there are lots of better alternatives besides them. The link of the thread was posted above, and will only recommend using chipmixer,. So far, chipmixer keeps rank #1 for best tumblers. Since the bestest were shut and closed.

2730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fair bet on: October 17, 2019, 02:02:09 PM
Hello friend's.
We introduce Fair bet game.
You just need to guess the last 4 digit's of Nonce in the block containing your bet. If not, then the bet goes to the bank.
If you guessed right, your bid is doubled and sent to the address from which the bet was made. Guessing 6 last digit's of Nonce for takes the bank. Minus 2% service charge.
Example: Your Bet 0.00012494 BTC to 3BX3DKC3Ljf8TdritnhFup4L9FVyNhyWYx next block Nonce 928232494
Gain X2 = 0.00024988 system return on address of Bet.
Use 3BX3DKC3Ljf8TdritnhFup4L9FVyNhyWYx  or scan QR image link
Do you have a website to work with this? If you don't, I'm afraid that no one will do and will just ignore this. You need a trusted man to work with this since your account is nothing and cannot be trusted with that address of yours.
2731  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow Service of Bl4nkcode [Active] on: October 17, 2019, 01:55:14 PM

2732  Other / Meta / Re: 3 Years Ago I Lost 5 BTCs from a Scam Sent From BitcoinTalk.org Official Email on: October 15, 2019, 11:32:50 PM
Sorry, I got my date mixed up. It was Aug 26, 2014. I sold the website with the email address I was using in 2017. I don't have access to that info anymore. I found this in one of my old computer drives. This is what started it.

https://imgur.com/a/pThEAAx
The price of BTC was around 500 on that date, so now tell us the:
TXID of the transaction if you really send the BTC on forum's address.
Website URL you want to advertise on bitcointalk.

[Edit] Now you might been scammed by someone who used email spoofing. Because of that time of receiving that email which aug.26, 2014,
The current auction it should be included was round 130 or the round after that round 131 and any auction run here doesnt have any instructions that you will receive any email related on advertising.

All instructions and communications are held inside the forum. So, the chance of it came from scammers/hackers is 99%. Now, its for you to decide.
2733  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Use your BTC on your Lazada Purchase (coins.ph>gcash>lazada) on: October 15, 2019, 02:41:02 AM
Been using this since na ma accept yung gcash sa lazada.

If gusto niyo, you can use this voucher if paying gcash through lazada , 10% less pag ordinary buy lang, 20% naman pag special sale at 50% pag every 18th ng month ata yan, pero syempre may cap yan.

[Edit] Ito yun https://www.gcash.com/gcash-on-lazada
2734  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Discussion on Philippine crypto wallets/apps on: October 15, 2019, 12:17:40 AM
@Everyone, speaking about sa hardware wallet.
Any the best way and tipid way para maka kuha ng authentic/original na mga hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor?
Kasi parang pag sa website ka nila mag oorder, hindi ma mataas ang fee like sa shipping fee or mga ganyan? Tapos yung mode of payment pa nila, na parang credit card pa ata kailangan?
If gusto mong maka tipid, with less shipping fee but with less security din ng bibilhin mo then dun ka sa mga retailers nila, dun ka sa singapore based para mas malapit at try to see if may voucher or sale sila. OR somewhat may nakita akong seller sa lazada which madami ding 5s review though like ng sabi ko less secured ito kase it can be tempered, or much worse may backdoor planted galing sa mga masyadong techy na retailers.

And recommended pa rin is dun direct sa shop nila, cannot remember about sa fees, basta alam ko walang charge dun sa mga binili ko. Sa payments nman, they can accept paypal, mastercard/visa whether its credit or debit card, and ofc BTC.
If may gcash or paypal ka you can use their virtual card.
2735  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Singapore Dollar Coin - ⚠️SCAM⚠️ - Stolen content from Weriz App, Fake team on: October 13, 2019, 11:04:06 PM
And look at there progress bar, they already reach $5m lmao which is an obvious bait to lure someone that they are legit which they are in the opposite one.
By looking at there team, those faces looks familiar lmao, those faces are used too many times on those ICO websites.
2736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: aliaksei on: October 13, 2019, 10:34:33 PM
So, your withdrawal request never been processed on that site?
Question, where did you find that site? And why did you use them instead of some reputed sites.
While searching sistemkoin.com review site:bitcointalk.org on google, most on top result are scam accusations against that exchange.
2737  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Wallet] Do not use SAFU wallet on: October 13, 2019, 10:22:40 PM
Google chrome store on spotlight again over hosting Malicious browser extensions... It really makes me wonder, doesn't google a procedure of first vetting apps and extensions before they make it to their stores?

I mean just small back ground checks would at least keep such malicious extensions from making it to the store.
Much worse if it goes up in the play store, and many people downloaded it and used the wallet. This just tells that google team behind the vetting and checking these apps are very incompetent compare to apple. They're too strict of checking before an app get published on appstore unlike in playstore.
2738  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: as a publisher paid for with bitcoin? on: October 13, 2019, 06:33:22 PM
I used A-ads.com before https://a-ads.com/, that's how I discovered Bitcoin and probably my very first BTC transaction comes from them  Grin
I tested many before and I liked how the site works. I was receiving payments daily and automatically, I did decent money with them.
If you have a decent traffic it worths to give a try.
I used A-ads back then but didn't think that I get more from them, what I understand is they just paid publishers from actual click (CPC back then) of the ads that shows on the website not with impressions (CPM), since visitors are unlikely will click some banner ads on the website so revenue is not that high. But applying a-ads is still good afaik. Lots of publishers still use them.
2739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin address reuse concerns apply only to spends/outputs? on: October 13, 2019, 06:16:58 PM
Wallets with a large amount of bitcoins are usually target of hackers and of course you are in danger if you dont know how to combat such schemes.
Just follow the basic principle of securing your wallet (which is don't save your recovery seed online, use HW if possible, use different strong passwords on every site/exchange) and you will be fine.

then use blockchain.info wallets since that web-wallet host website usually changes the wallet address every time you make transactions.
Where talking security matters, and blockchain.info/.com is out of the context here. Mobile wallets are way more secure than web wallet for sure.
2740  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Access wallet addresses easily, without storing private keys or security phrases on: October 13, 2019, 05:59:13 PM
All I really wanted to was keep an address book to help pay certain vendors and also make deposits into my own accounts.
I'm pretty sure mycelium do have an address book, where you can save your previous or future wallet to use in sending funds, there's an option will show once you're trying to send, from your clipboard, scan qr, and address book. Though it only accepts btc right now.
