A great run chase in this IPL season's history against a best performing team. I didn't thought that RR have the ability to chase this huge target. But they did it. Stokes and Samson have made a great partnership.
Before the match i picked RR to win the match in the IPL fantasy but when MI went on to put 195 runs with some impressive power hitting by Hardik Pandya and i thought it is impossible for RR to chase this total but even though they lost the wickets they kept the run rate and then Ben Stokes just proved his worth and i am glad to see Sanju Samson staying till the end.
2722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should we welcome centralized bodies for Bitcoin mainstream on: October 25, 2020, 04:42:00 PM
I understand there are so many merchants that'll allow Bitcoin payments which is great, but I'm not sure it's going to be Bitcoin you'll be paying with. Without full control over the coins, it's just like PayPal created a virtual Bitcoin and allowed you to use it. I'm really curious to find out if the "purchases using Bitcoin" are going to be done over the blockchain or PayPal takes the BTC and gives you virtual ones.
It looks like PayPal will be providing virtual coins and there is not transaction going through the blockchain and with that i really do not want to even it BTCitcoin, they created a trading platform essentially to stay in the business and since they have a much bigger user base they might be thinking that there will be users that will lock their money purchasing their virtual BTCitcoin  Grin.

I am yet to fully understand their business model, whether they will be investing on the behalf of the users because literally it does not make any sense if they are not allowing users to withdraw the coins.
2723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple considering moving to UK on: October 25, 2020, 02:31:11 PM
I don't think that it will make any difference though for Ripple investors, but it will be better if they can find home outside of the US if they think that they are somewhat being harassed and it's hard for them to continue their businesses there.
These kinds of move will reflect on the investors indirectly, if they are in the US and they are facing multiple regulations then it might impact on the price and if they move to greener pastures with less regulatory pressure it will help the company rather than the investors directly, tech companies have always followed this pattern especially in the cryptocurrency space, when China was implementing regulatory pressure mostly all of the companies moved to Hong Hong and Singapore and this freedom to move is the biggest advantage as the business runs on the internet.

Khabib won in second round Khabib forces Gaethje to tap out with a triangle choke finish.
The wrestling pedigree everyone was speculating about Justin Gaethje we saw the levels Khabib Nurmagomedov is and no one would defeat him, i was personally not expecting a retirement by Khabib Nurmagomedov because i am a die hard fan the moment i saw his first fight in the UFC and i was following his career and i was blessed to meet him personally during UFC 242 and he is the nicest person in MMA along with Ben Askren whom i met when he was fighting for One FC and i will be travelling to Sildi when the cornona thing is over and my personal issues is sorted i would like to meet him again in his hometown.

Khabib is the GOAT and for the fight fans he broke his foot three weeks back and never mentioned it and he dominated from start till the finish.
2725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 24, 2020, 10:00:52 PM
Holy shit!
How come KXIP won the match? I didn't watch the match for a while thinking that SRH will easily win the match but despite KXIP make it comfortable. When I watched the match again, I was shocked to see 14 more runs needed from the last over. Damn, despite KXIP's best bowler Shami got busted tonight, KXIP won the match for bowling. What a match it was!
This is probably the upset of this tournament, SRH was on a winning position till the 17th over and they had wickets in hand and Chris Jordan bowled a magnificent spell to take the team to victory and SRH just lost their battle and i was surprised they lost the match by 12 runs as i switch off the match when they needed Need just 20 runs from 18 balls with 6 wickets in hand and started watching the UFC event which i was waiting for a long time.
2726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 24, 2020, 07:00:23 PM
My brain tells me that Khabib will win, but my heart hopes that Justin.
Every cells on my body says that it is hard for anyone to upset Khabib Nurmagomedov, the only issue i have is that he usually does not check leg kicks and taking those nasty kicks from Justin Gaethje could change a fight but he will fight intelligently as he is an avid fight fan and he knows the strength of Justin Gaethje and i am expecting him to circle away from his left hook and his right calf kick and the biggest problem with Justin Gaethje is that he is not versed in BJJ and never used his wrestling inside the cage even though he was a decorated wrestler.
2727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 24, 2020, 03:02:38 PM
DC and KKR seems to be fighting for the 2nd position.
Delhi Capitals lost the match after the eight over Nitish Rana played a good innings and Sunil Narine played a good cameo after a long time and his batting position might help him in giving the team a much needed push that helped Kolkata Knight Riders post a daunting total and Delhi Capitals failed to chase and it is good to see these kind of performance later in the matches while every team is trying to get a semi spot.
2728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Terror Attack Related With Bitcoin - INDIA on: October 23, 2020, 07:48:33 PM
Now this will be an added opportunity to stop usage of cryptocurrencies.
They can use this as an excuse but when i read the article there are many contradicting statements.

For example, these are from the article

Quote
Cryptocurencies such as Bitcoins leverage a technology known as blockchain, a decentralised, distributed ledger that tracks transactions. These are anonymous and nearly impossible to track, and are commonly used in dark web transactions.

They say that it is a distributed ledger that tracks transactions but in the very next sentence they say it is nearly impossible to track  Cheesy.

The fact is, it cannot be both because it tracks transactions and hence it is possible to track every transaction that is made.
And in the article it says that millions of BTCitcoin are confiscated by the authorities that are used for funding terror and that cannot be said about fiat currency as it does not have a paper trail.
2729  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 23, 2020, 05:08:30 PM
It took years for people to believe that earth revolved around sun and not the other way around.
It took decades for people to get used to the idea of science.
Everything in the solar system revolves including the sun and science changes with time as new studies comes in Wink.

Even though we are living in 2020 people still take time getting used to the idea, we have not yet Solved the problems of the real world.
Hunger
Poverty
Lack of electricity
Lack of education
Lack of employment etc...
Education will sort hunger and poverty, employment you need the complete support of a government to open up new jobs.

If since 2009 ,this forum was built to an extent that it hangs every once in a while due to overcrowding. I believe we have somehow succeed to grab the attention. There are millions of users ! Literally, millions !
Server issues can be a reason for hanging  Wink and i doubt this forum has hundred thousand users logging in simultaneously at a time ever. Most of these accounts are dormant and mostly created by bots and many of the people i know from the cryptocurrency space are not even in the forum and the once that registered are not active, so this is not a benchmark.

Right now only the restrictions by the government is holding the cryptocurrencies back.
We have seen billions invested by financial fund houses inBTCitcoin and the government is not holding back anything. There are countries that banned the cryptocurrency space but anyone who wanted to invest have all the options available including decentralized P2P markets.

~
I actually think he can take down Khabib. I don't remember anyone doing that to him.
If you want to remember what happens when someone tries to take down Khabib Nurmagomedov just look at the Abel Trujillo fight, in the opening sequence he took Khabib down and that poked the ego of Khabib and then after that all Khabib did in the fight is to take Abel Trujillo over and over again with single legs double legs and different kinds of trips i have never seen before in MMA and that became the UFC record.

Just for all the fight fans on the pure wrestling credibility of Khabib he can go toe to toe against Ed Ruth who is a three time NCAA Division I national champion but what is interesting is that Justin Gaethje faced Jordan Burroughs during his wrestling career and he was able to give Jordan Burroughs a tough match up and even took him down and was able to scramble twice from the bottom and everyone should understand Burroughs is known as one of the best wrestlers US ever produced.

All these said, the major difference is Justin Gaethje moved away completely from wrestling and concentrated mainly on striking and Khabib Nurmagomedov drills wrestling on a daily basis against high level opponents and Dagestan produces the best wrestlers in the world.

I don't see this going 5 rounds, and I don't see this ending by a submission. I believe Khabib will either knock out Justin, or Justin will knock out Khabib. Khabib has shown in the past he can throw punches.
The game plan is simple, Khabib is going to take Gaethje down and when ever Gaethje goes for the calf kick i am expecting a take down which will hesitate Gaethje to throw further kicks and if Khabib can pin Gaethje then he will make Gaethje work hard that will exhaust the opponent and i am expecting Khabib chocking him out in the third or fourth round.
2731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: October 22, 2020, 10:20:54 PM
Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently using Signature campaign to promote their private sale.

Being a newbie, I would like to know your thoughts through experience.
The credibility and legitimacy of the project is not determined by the campaigns they organize, if you look at this forum two or three years back you will see many scam projects that were heavily promoted here using signature campaigns and other social media campaigns and reputed campaign managers at that time were involved in those and some even tarnished their reputation helping out the scammers.
2732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't PayPal decided to use xrp than Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2020, 07:53:39 PM
Hope this message get to PayPal team for appropriate actions.
If you want PayPal to add XRP in their platform it is better to request them in their platform rather than hoping that they will visit this forum and make the necessary changes like you wish Tongue. I do not care if they explore the cryptocurrency space and update their business model and they are adding Ethereum, Bitcoin cash and Litecoin but not XRP  Tongue.
2733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 21, 2020, 09:33:27 PM
What happened in the last game? I missed it everything. Did RCB really bowl that well or KKR's batsmen shit the bed one more time? Mo. Siraj is man of the match so bit confuse, his figures looking juicy tho.
It was domination especially from Mohammed Siraj who took the new ball along with Chris Morris who was consistent with the ball when he got a place in the team and now RCB looks like a strong contender as they have the batting talents and now the bowlers are backing them up and if they can improve their fielding and take the catches they can win the tournament.

The pitch was helping the bowlers and the RCB bowlers took full advantage even spinners were brilliant.
2734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: October 21, 2020, 03:12:15 PM
Paypal officially announced that they are going to let their users to buy, sell and shop cryptocurrencies on their platform starting in 2021adding services such as this will become a domino effect that might trigger banks to do the same. I can feel it already, next year will be another blast for crypto!
The cryptocurrency market is a big challenge for the Paypal market and they are making changes to carter to their business if not they will go obsolete as the number of users keep on decreasing over the years but that does not necessarily mean that the banking system will have a domino effect.

Right now i am able to send my funds from bank account to BTCitcoin exchanges without any fees and that is the only service i look forward as i do not expect the bankers start selling BTCitcoin directly if that is what you are expecting Wink.
2735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: October 20, 2020, 11:25:26 PM
They definitely are going to give a tough fight to rest of the teams now. It looks like a complete team. While DC performed miserably apart from Dhawan batting was a complete failure. I think they shouldn't loose the momentum they were in. Giving unnecessary rests to core players can prove to be fatal.
If Kings XI Punjab can pick the best team then they are a force to reckon, i think Chris Gayle was their lucky charm and game changer he was brought into the team in the last three matches and they started winning and he is making valuable contribution and even though Glenn Maxwell is not in the best of batting form in this IPL they are utilizing him as an opening bowler and he is doing wonders and these changes are helping them big time and they have the momentum by winning against MI and now DC the top two teams in this edition and with the confidence they have now they can challenge the rest of the teams.
2736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 19, 2020, 11:48:11 PM
Chennai Super Kings once again played a wonderful game like they did in the past in this years IPL and the player of the day is once again Ambati Rayudu and Kedar Jadhav. I am confused why they are not able to pick the best team while sticking to players that are not performing and ignoring Imran Tahir who is one of the best spinners in T20 and performed well in different franchise cricket but he is not getting a place in this team.
The problem is CSK does not have the team members to replace any of these players, loosing Suresh Raina is a big factor and they do not have any players that could replace Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson that could boost their batting line up and then there is a limit to play only four international players and Sam Curran is playing well and then the only option is Bravo and now he is injured and hence they picked Hazlewood who bowled really well and it is unfortunate that Imran Tahir is not able to play.

2737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you trust Defi projects?? on: October 18, 2020, 09:27:09 PM
Everyone who believes in a project is directly looking at making profit but if someone already made a substantial profit from it and then ask you to invest in it then you need to think twice. I am not following the DeFi world even though i am hearing many people claiming that they are making a huge profit, the free airdrops and these rallies looks attractive but i am not in a position to take any risk.

If you think that the project is attractive and can benefit you, it is your choice as it is hard to determine whether it will be profitable in the long run.
2738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 18, 2020, 05:39:01 PM
Just like I have said Said Nurmagomedov will win this, Mark Striegl just wants to rush things by going to Nurmagomedov's feet and opening himself to a barrage of hits, I think Striegl should up his game plan and preparations first, this is UFC the level of competition here is doubled than what he experience in his past fights, Still support for the guy for trying out his prowess in the big league.
The level of competition in One FC in lower weight divisions is really high and we know what happened to Eddie Alvarez and the losses he had and Demetrious Johnson who dominated every opponent in the UFC had two tough fights and these opponents are literally unknown to the western world but the level of competition is really high.

Coming to Mark Striegl i am yet to watch his fights and he faced Said Nurmagomedov who has a grappling pedigree and that level of threat will always open the knockout, if he gets to a good camp i am sure he will improve tremendously as 80% is mental toughness and confidence is necessary in a fight game.

But I want to see him fight another one before fighting against a title match.
This fight was a title eliminator and Brian Ortega will be facing the champion next.
2739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of BCH on: October 18, 2020, 01:51:08 PM
Perhaps i am biased, but i feel BCH will eventually get faded because if there's Bitcoin, we don't need BCH tbh
Just like Why needed ETC when we have ETH
You cannot compare ETC and BCH as they both evolved in entirely different circumstances, the fork in BTCitcoin happened because there was a difference in opinion when it comes to scaling and ETC came into existence because it was a hard fork when there was a major hack without taking everyone's opinion into account and hence we have two chains.

I sold my BCH when the price was around $600 if i am not wrong and when i saw the market going down i took my opportunity to profit from the free coins and i still hold a few coins and if it goes higher i will be happy to book my profit, ultimately it all depends upon how they are able to attract the investors and lets see how it will fair when the market goes up.
2740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight - October 17 on: October 18, 2020, 06:09:02 AM
It is going to be the upset of the year, it was a really close fight and when Lomachenko he wanted to go to the distance in the pre fight interview i thought that would backfire as the judges can mess up things, but this fight i am not calling robbery, as the first three rounds was close but i give it to Teofimo Lopez but then Lomachenko started his pace and the championship rounds in my view Lomachenko won majority of the rounds. I have to watch the fight again to score and hopefully we will see a rematch.
