2721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Comparisation with BTC and Other Payments Methods. on: March 29, 2019, 05:49:13 AM
The comparison is sometimes useful and it would be good to see different aspects, but I think what the friend means is that these comparisons should be done with the right tools in the right time zones.
2722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jihan Wu is no longer CEO of Bitmain on: March 28, 2019, 10:59:14 AM
There has been a new CEO appointment, just as the IPO application officially expired.

https://chainbulletin.com/bitmain-announces-new-ceo-shares-updated-ipo-plans/

What do you guys think will happen next? Bitmain is still a monopoly, they're going to recover and sell a ton of equipment in 2019. But what does it mean for crypto?

Will Bitcoin Cash get dumped into oblivion? Will Bitmain jump to defend BTC against Craig Wright like it did for BCH? Do you expect a change in their corporate strategy?

Monopoly is never good thing. And Bitmain grows quickly. It is not good for any of us. Whatever the reason, this BCH-BTC conflict is very damaging to the market. I think we should break the connection between these two.
2723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future improvements on: March 27, 2019, 06:39:38 AM
I stumbled accross this article and it seemed pretty interesting to me since it answered many of the questions. But it was over technical thus let me simplify it.

There are few things that are going to Mark a jump in our beloved cryptocurrency . They are as following:-
• Bitcoins is going to become more private

I don't think bitcoin needs to be private more than ever. It works on where it is right now and IMO that doesn't need to change. Many privacy freaks could use any other form of money or crypto if they wish.

• It will have better support for the lightning network

This is one of the things I'm wondering about: why would the bitcoin client complement the specifications and technicalities of the lightning network when the lightning network itself should adjust to bitcoin's specification and technicalities? Again, I don't hate LN all in all but being an off-chain, independent solution for congestion, it should have its own ways of addressing what 'incompatibilities' it may have with bitcoin.

• The lightning network will be integrated with mobile( it's still working though )

Does it need to be centered about LN, always, and not bitcoin?

• The block chain won't gain size , it will try and stay small

Impossible, unless someone would come up with a bright solution that would technically render any next blocks to not fill up hard drive storage. It will try to stay small and cram many transactions inside a block but it's a given that as time passes by, blockchain would gain and gain in terms of size.

By the way I wonder if you would have noticed that the transactions are stored in the blockchain and one can easily see any transaction and then redirect to the address it's going to and the fact that this address is usually tied to our personal identities is the fact it's easily trackable.
The reason why our wallet always pops up an option like * use another address * is the reason because if we use the same address at many places we become trackable .

It's pseudo transparent, it still have many flaws when it comes to tracking. Because most wallet companies now require full identification our information is actually stored in the blockchain , every move is monitored and can be taken action against if something happens.

Actually there are some ways of create a untraceable transaction. And these ways not so hard. If you want to use it, you can do it easily.
And todays, Bitcoin adress can connect our information but in future if everyone use it I think it will get harder. We create a real decentralization. Then all problem easily will be solved.
2724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tim Draper Encourages Argentina’s President to Legitimize Bitcoin on: March 27, 2019, 06:35:44 AM
It's not just Argentina. Blockchain and crypto coins are a nice opportunity for every country experiencing economic development. It's very important to use it just right.

Bounty doesn't matter. However, the fact that this system is actually operational is important for the future of the market and BTC. Do you have a chance to see your test results? Or a video that we can watch as we talk about in his friends?

2728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do if the Bitcoin Sending Fee will be super high or super low? on: March 25, 2019, 06:35:45 AM
Do I find out the hard way after I make my purchase with the educated guess that Bitcoin pricing is stable long enough that from my understanding the more popular Bitcoin is worth and the more money each Bitcoin is worth among other factors is what influences the Bitcoin Fee is there an app of some sort I can use on my Cell Phone to let me know the current Blockchain Wallet Sending Fees will be as that is the Wallet I am using for simply Sending Bitcoin into and Sending out of.

Any help explaining how this works would be greatly appreciated as it is frustrating not knowing what my Bitcoin Fee is going to be hence I don't know how much money in Bitcoin more than what I am spending on my purchase that I need to acquire?

Actually, it's simple. It's all about supply-demand. As the transaction supply increases, transaction fee increases.

It's also about the number of miners in the system. As the number of miners increases, the ratio of the demand is increased and the fee falls.
You can still find a great&technical answer in mining section if you want. There are a lot of thread in there.

2729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forums and Social Media Communities on: March 25, 2019, 06:33:23 AM
Do you believe that this forum has provided a lot of important and most updated information? For me, the Bitcointalk forum is the best because it has a good level of information. With various people who already know the crypto world, the Bitcointalk forum has tested the quality and accuracy of the data.

I agree this place is arguably the best place. Because the foundation of Bitcoin was laid here, its development was announced by Satoshi and this was the platform that called the community to this world.

Nevertheless, it does not hurt to follow other communities. Especially on the reddit page there are many interesting things.
2730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest any time? on: March 22, 2019, 02:03:34 PM
Anytime is ok to invest your money as long as you are ready with the risk. There is no guarantee of profit for investment of crypto so you should be very wise to choose which coin to invest. You should do researches then decide when is the right time and the right coin to invest. Do not rely on other's suggestion, it is your money not theirs.

Of course there is also this issue. Crypto investment involves risks in many areas. For example, someone with 10 BTCs in January 2018 can currently have 2 BTCs. Only the FIAT is not in terms of currency, but the value of BTC may be depreciated.
2731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest any time? on: March 22, 2019, 01:48:57 PM
I have read so many times where people keep saying that "all time is good for investment".
Personally, I disagree with that statement, and I believe when you look at it from my prism you will also agree with me.
Take a look at this scenario and judge for yourself.
Mr March is a newbie in cryptosphere and he has $2000 he would want to invest in Cryptocurrency.
He also plan using the $2000 to sort out some financial needs in a months time.
After going through his friends suggestion regarding the coin he should invest on.....he went for April coin.
On checking the market price of April coin, it was discovered that the price is at it's all time high.
The coin was $3 before but $10 now.
Considering he only want to do a month investment.
Will it then be wise to ask him to buy the coin at the present price or wait for the price to fall ?
Do you still believe that all time is good for investment?
Thank you.

It is not good to invest your all money in crypto. It is not good also invest your all money any other thing. People has to share their risk to different investment tools. For example. %30 for gold, %30 for crypto and %40 for exchange and stock. (It is optional, you can create your basket in different stakes)
2732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Used Computer Equipment For CryptoCurrency Unsafe? on: March 22, 2019, 01:46:11 PM
I know many people store their crypto in their hardware wallets.  Some store it on their computers.  Some have a computer solely for crypto to be safe.

I think it is not to keep cryptocurrencies in computer. I think people should think about buying hardware wallet. Because I guess it is the safest way.

First off, is buying anything that used for the computer unsafe if you plan to store crypto in it?  Example buying a used laptop but then doing a complete factory reset and wiping everything?  Or could a hacker still put a virus/keylog in it?

Factory reset can be enough. It may keep you safe without internet. When you make a connection to internet, then it all start again...

Now what about other things?  Like imagine buying a used wireless mouse or keyboard.  What about a wired mouse or keyboard?  Or maybe even a used modem or wireless router?  Is it possibly to get a virus/hack keylogged if buying anything like this used?  I thought modem/router possible because well its connecting to the internet?  Obviously something like a used monitor cannot cause anything like this right?  What about a used usb cable connecting your modem to your computer?  A used flash drive definitely for sure?  But you should never have an issue if its a new one right?

Except flashdisk, none of them has a store capaticy in it. It is all safe. But you have to understand that, computer using carries so much risks. Sometime wireless connection, chromecast, screensharing...etc. can be dangerous. So there are two ways to keeping your investment safe. One of them is hardware wallet and the second one is paper wallet. These two options are safe.

2733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: March 21, 2019, 01:42:18 PM
I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to increase the amount of BTC without trading shitcoin. That's why we all take a hand in this.
2734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Were you able to buy CELER NETWORK on: March 20, 2019, 07:38:19 AM
Things are going well for Binance, but I don't rely on it. Therefore, I did not try to participate in a token sale by Binance. Because nobody's looking at the project. They only deal with the token sale of Binance.
2735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency: Mithril (MITH) to Get Tickets for Ed Sheeran Concert in Taiwan on: March 20, 2019, 07:35:53 AM
I have a question, however it is very good to be accepted in such an organization. Currently we have more than 2000 cryptocurrencies by CMC. And everyone is turning to a different crypto. This can lead to a confusion as payment in the future. I think this is why SWAP projects that are entering our lives will be important. In this way, it will be easy to pay with a lot of crypto money and those who accept payment will be based on that SWAP project. We need powerful platforms like FIAT-CRYPTO-FIAT. At least for this transition process.

I hope that this will give fresh air for DGB to lift the price to a higher price. Besides that, I see the chance for DGB to increase the price still wide open, and it's not just what we saw in almost 2 years ago. But all in all, I still waiting for DGB to increase because I still save some DGB and it's waiting for the higher price to sell Grin

Last summer, I had a lot of hesitation to sell it when there were over 600 sats. I wish I'd sold it. I'm still waiting for the price to rise again.
2737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WanChain is cheap now and looks very promising, anyone buying ? on: March 18, 2019, 10:52:25 AM
As the price went under $0.40 i was thinking of getting some (about 2 ETH)

Anyone else interested in this coin? Looking at their info, it looks quite descent.

https://wanchain.org

There are many crypto currencies that have the potential of Wanchain and so on at the moment. The important thing is to find out which one is in the queue.

Hi everybuddy  Grin

I'm looking for some good masternodes crypto. It looks like the most trusty is Dash, but it requires something like 800k $.

I've look at masternodes.pro but it seems not very upgraded. Can you give me a list of the best masternodes coin?

I was researching for news on BRAIN but I can't even find the website... Then I beg you, enlighten me.

BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

You don't have to complete all the coins alone to build a masternode. Some node pools do this for you. You may look at and join this pool as much as you pay. I'm not sharing their names here, but I'm guessing it could easily be found in the mining section.
2739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major Correction on its way ! on: March 18, 2019, 08:51:05 AM
Bitcoin has so far involved 4 major corrections, including when we are in now. And this correction we're experiencing right now maybe the biggest correction we've ever seen.
2740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10 Blockchain Wallet Supports Ethereum, not Bitcoin on: March 16, 2019, 10:08:46 AM
The electronics bull, Samsung has officially declared that the blockchain and cryptocurrency wallet for its Galaxy S10 phone is at this time compatible only with Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum-derived ERC20 coins. Bitcoin (BTC) and other major cryptocurrencies are not yet supported, regardless of the BTC logo surfacing on previous pre-release presentation pictures.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/galaxy-blockchain-wallet/

Don't take it too seriously. They lose themselves. And if we know anything, they'll eventually get to know the value of Bitcoin and add the Bitcoin wallet.
