I have to come realize that because someone made huge profit from a newly listed coin or a shitcoin doesn't mean it will go the same way of profit for you.

I had bought some few shitcoins and newly listed coins that were making some waves, those coins are currently a shadow of their entering prices. I should have left my money in bitcoin instead of gambling with my bitcoin and end up been burnt. Some of these project have technical issues, which I think will end up killing the project.

We can always play safe with bitcoin/fiat or bitcoin/USDT or just leaving our holdings in good altcoins rather than getting on a rat race chasing shitcoins for possible Lambo, which in effect will lead to  wrecking and regretting.

That's the risk you have to take when dealing with those shit coins. You are at your own expense buddy, you already know that is shit and yet you manage to gamble some of your money into it. Lesson learned the hard way.

At least you learn your lessons here, might be expensive one though. At this worsening market conditions, its hard for shitcoins to survived. They can only stay if they been pump-and-dump otherwise they don't have any value at all. And once they have been listed, well, expect a massive dump and obviously, if you're late then all your investments will loss or have incurred a big loss already that you regret investing on them. I'm sure you will slowly became a Bitcoin purist,  , not a bad thing though.

Pure greed here. You know it , it is/was shitcoin and only reason for you to purchase it, because "someone made profit".
First rule of trade, be guided by fact and do not take emotional decision like this and you will be always fine.

It is just purely gambling to bet on shitcoins yes you could be lucky by some pumpmamd dump but you have more chance to play at casino !

Invest on serious project that deserve their investments, really more chance to obtain payback

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to increase the amount of BTC without trading shitcoin. That's why we all take a hand in this.

Shitcoins will be shitcoins. You can potentially make money on shitcoins though, through trading them. I personally hold a decent amounts of shitcoins, not because I think they will succeed, but to hopefully be able to profit off them to hopefully increase my bitcoin stack. I just make sure to not hold them for too long. But yea, for long term? Bitcoin is still the way to go.

I have some heavy bag of shitcoins which is being accumulated of all the years here on crypto.Shitcoins doesnt really give any usage at all but rather
its only good for side income for those people who do love to risk on dealing with them.Yes, its worthy for some aspect but talking for long term then these
are completely trash.

Just take a look on the entire market on how many coins do exist.There are thousands of it but 95% of them are just total useless.I do only consider top 10-20 which do
really have some potential or real-life benefits when it comes to blockchain tech.

Most of coins are just being created just to make money with noobs out there specially for those who are investors that is just being dragged by the hype of crypto
bubble.They do most likely see theirselves to be able to get rich on faster schemes.

investing in bitcoin is definitely getting a profit, don't invest in a lot of risks by the way If there is a product that will provide lambo with an investment that is not possible. is a shitcoin pattern lures a large return equivalent to lambo, be careful if you find the project tell the others ppl to be vigilant because its real definitely shitcoin

the point is not to be easily influenced by others. no matter if they can make more profit from shitcoin, if you doubt it's better not to follow them.
nothing is profitable from shitcoin even if I get a profit, not necessarily in the future you can still make a profit.

Saying USDT is "safe" is debatable if you're up to speed with recent developments.  It may not actually be backed 1:1 by USD, as was always the previous stance from Tether.  They aren't making that promise anymore.

I've learnt my lesson from having that kind of gut feel of investing to those altcoins that arent really popular. That gut feel influenced by those people that keeps on thinking positive when you invest to a certain new coin with such capital. And expect to have a lot of coins, so what happens my investment pick those bad times was quantity over quality. I regret of doing that and also thought that its better if I just left my bitcoin alone and never used it investing with those coins that lost me money.

Shitcoins are decorative now in my wallet, I have a lot of them but after all, I decided to focus on Bitcoin and put into the top of my priority to invest. Chasing profit make you more worst if you are being greed on this. It is very high risk when you invest in ICO coins which we don't know after listed it will become shitcoin. I won't hold now such as shitcoins.

Nowdays less and less promising coins are created, personally the last one (really great coin) I have seen was Grin coin but not a good choise for investment because it's like Zcash to my mind (I mean price movement). It started with high price from the very first time (maybe 10$ or something higher, can't remember correctly) and then felt down.
Btw for shitcoins, yobit is great place, people make money with dead coins here lol.

I think from last year until now almost ICO projects are turn to shitcoin or some are having exit scam. My guess is they didn't recover from the drastically deep price in the market. Their pool fund budget from investors has huge losses, in my own opinion. It is very disappointing to us as investors or bounty hunters that we didn't earn a profit and we let shitcoin died on our wallet.

I have the same experience, just because everyone in the community said that those shitcoins are potential. So I try to buy some of it and finally I got nothing from it except loss my money. I have learned from my mistake and never do that again, never believe the hype on the community, at least if I want to trade on shitcoins I must be doing it based on my analytics

I hope that you will not make the same mistake. Many people were attracted to buy shitcoins because of the news. They don't even research the project, and they only follow what other people said. They think that after they buy for 0.01 btc for that coin, in one year later, the coins will increase 100x but unfortunately, the shitcoin cannot do that.

I think you only need to invest the coins which already have a good position and top 100 coins list will be a good choice for you to invest. But you can also make a small list for top 10, top 20, or top 50 and then you can select and analyze the coins until you want which coins that will have potential to increase in the future.

This reminds me when I bought a certain shitcoin. Dev made promises that he was opening a casino and he had a license. So people started buying the shitcoin and the shitcoin prices increased more than 100% in 2 days, when Dev showed the casino, it was a big disappointment and the price fell a lot. I had a 5% profit only, that's because I went in late and thought the shitcoin was a good project, but I was wrong. Altcoin are very dangerous investments. I see things that shock me, like hell it can be possible an altcoin to have 300% increase just because the creator of altcoin made a twiter saying that the altcoin will have rebrandi of the logo or that the altcoin was added in binance?

Right, bitcoin is the right invested at this bear market. Those shitcoin will be just used by a lot of bad actors to put their narratives, to earn more money from noob investors.

There are altcoins, specially in the top 5 to be a good investment long term. As I have said, it's hard to chase shitcoins who going to be like x100 or x1000. Just put your money on bitcoin and you will be safe in the long haul.

Because of shitcoins that just aiming for exchange price, the "real" good project will be shadowed by them. Investors will scared to invest in a long term, they just hit and go with the project.
This means bad for new crypto startup to create a trust for investors
