Since we have like NO interest... I'm gonna #FAIL on this thread, and re-invest these 100 BTC into some other projects.

Well if you would like you can throw a couple of BTC my way and I can pay you in interest?
If not and you want to donate head over this thread and send your donations to the address in the post

2742  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Wallet file gets uploaded to jailbroken iPhone with Linux OS? on: June 08, 2011, 04:41:42 AM
So is there a shell script that would upon plugging in my iPhone that my wallet.dat file gets copied and possibly encrypted with a shell script?

Im so pissed that everyone bailed on this Tongue
2744  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Mining Pool #2 Needs your webdesign skills | Send in your resume. on: June 08, 2011, 03:24:37 AM
Sadly I have no examples but I could do this in php or perl easily assuming you can give me the algorithm to calculate next block ETA from GHash and the scripts to generate the graphs.
ehhhh what?
Who was it that stated I know how to calculate the next block from Ghash/s? or anything of the like?
2745  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to get an accruate Mhash rate based on number of shares on: June 08, 2011, 02:37:26 AM
I'm using s.th. Like this (got some hints in the Pushpool thread):

NrOfShares / timeframe * 4294967296

That should be hashes per second if pushpool is rewriting difficulty to 1

But due to the nature of shares, I wouldn't call that accurate. It will always be more like a guess

Is this the current difficulty?

2746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: June 08, 2011, 01:43:40 AM
Hi i have some problems with my new mining pool.

OS= Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Terminal.

I got this in the client.
2011-06-08 01:44:43: Listener for "pengar": 08/06/2011 01:44:43, Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC

I got this in the pushpool.
[1307490305.141689] client host 78.73.80.189 port 50768 connected <--- mass spam.

But when i run the bitcoind service like this

./bitcoind -server

nothing happens, is it loaded or what?

my bitcoind.conf

Code:
rpcuser=hello
rpcpassword=hello2

My server.josn
Code:
{

Why wont it work for me?

If your getting alot of connected ports and no connected miners then your most likely connecting on the wrong port. When i use poclbm I specifcly have to use the -p flag and write the port number and not type with the --host flag, other wise it just dosnet connect at all for some reason. Hope this helps!
2747  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religious Orientation on: June 08, 2011, 01:41:06 AM
Don't mean to double post but im skimming over a couple of posts on this thread and it seems like some people know what im talking about filters, and different experiences; awesome. Glad to hear that we are all closer then we think in differences
2748  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religious Orientation on: June 08, 2011, 01:39:27 AM
Although ones beliefs aren't important to anyone else or possible to relevantly talk about beliefs with out confusion involved.
My belief is that everything in front of me is there, was there, and always will be there.
Maybe not in the same molecular structural patterns as my past might once perceived it but its still a fact.

Personally to me there are 6 billion people on the planet so that must mean their are 6 billion ways to perceive one thing or subject(but there are a million things and subjects!).
So my conclusion is that everyone has the same god, it just goes through a their brain or filter as I like to call them differently.
I've seen some interesting things happen, miracles maybe. They say that those who are in awe or think they see miracles happen don't understand the processes that are happening behind the Curtin. I beg to differ that I realise that the universe has rules that was, is and always will be, and if there is this infinite thread holding it all together that some like to call God I would hope that man in the sky would stay true to his word and keep the rules how they are, and always will be.
If the universe was chaotic such as one day I get up eat my cereal gravity is in place, then the all of a sudden "Just be cause the universe feels like" it and no particular cause and effect all the molecules start to disperse at high speeds in multi-dimensional directions then I die instantly because of actions that were out of my own personal control, I'd say there is no god and there is no laws or rules of invisible thread of infiniteness holding it all together.

Hope you guys and gals, liked my interpretation on the infinite vastness of creation and decaying....
2749  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We've come to the point where we must protect our mining pools on: June 08, 2011, 01:19:30 AM
Wont the network say HEY!, nobody is connected so I must lower the difficulty after "X Amount" of blocks, the difficulty would become incredibly low enough for solo mining to be profitable again.
So with that in mind
1] Attackers must have money to get enough botnets to attack the miningpools for 2 whole weeks(defiantly plausible)
2]After the two weeks are up difficulty goes down alot where solo mining is profitable
3]attackers stop attacking difficulty goes back up, everyone joins the mining pools, all solo miners made alot of bitscoins and the attackers helped them

I say... Attack Away! Anything that dosen't die was meant to survive!
2750  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you going to pay taxes? on: June 08, 2011, 01:13:42 AM
Just jumped in the thread thought i get my 2cents in,

I've thought about it and yes I think I will pay my taxes just like I've been reporting my taxes with all my other jobs. Sure its easy not to pay taxes but worth it... ehhh?
2751  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Is it possible to get an accruate Mhash rate based on number of shares on: June 08, 2011, 12:49:18 AM
Believe me when I tell you, I know it sounds like a stupid question but seriously is it possible to get an accurate Mhash rate based on the share data pushpoold submits?
All my formulas come out accurate at first but once there its more or less workers they go off the charts in accurate!
I've seen other pooling services make this mistake of inaccuate hashing scores mine are usually at a ~20 Mhash/s error rate, which might piss some
new combing miners off when they come to find that they "Might" be making less Mhashes then their minors are reporting.

So is it possible to get an accruate mhash rate with the following data per share submitted
Fields:
id | timestamp | username

This is the last formula I attempted to use

Most recent share  submitted in time stamp
Minus(-)
First share submitted in round time stamp
Equals = Total Time Connected

TotalTimeConnected
Divided By(/)
Total Shares Subbmitted this round
Equals = Failed horribly at accurate Mhash Rate.

Im not sure but I don't think ATI Stream 2.1 is compatible with 6990 at the moment, like i said not sure... still waiting on my PSU to come in the mail to plug my 6990 in
2753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Pushpool - Tech Support on: June 07, 2011, 11:18:30 PM
I experienced an odd problem with pushpool.

I got it setup, and accepting shares against a bitcoin --testnet client setup correctly with RPC. So, everything appeared to work. I even found a few blocks, and those submitted fine.

However, at a difficulty of 38, and >1000 shares, it had only found 2 blocks.  Huh That's either really bad luck, or something was broken.

So I tried pointing the miners at bitcoind directly, and they found 3 blocks in a few minutes (as expected for the hashrate).

I think you mean it found shares, unless your running a mining farm with a bunch of computers, if you find 3 blocks in a few minutes that should be a problem. but then again a finding a few shares every couple of minutes isn't really a problem either. I run at about 85000Khash/s and i find a share on average 2-3 minutes.
2754  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] Open Source pooled mining platform with web interface on: June 07, 2011, 11:02:45 PM
Yeah I mean for one to download and setup on their own server, like Xenland has provided.
When the bounty is paid.

If some people want to review the code I'll give them access though.
I gave access to Xenland so he can see how I've managed my stuff.

The pool now mines on testnet, blocks should arrive very soon so the block management, and payment splitting mechanism can be tested in the wild after having been successfully validated against my own mined blocks on testnet.

Accounts have been wiped, please register again, you will need to provide a valid testnet address, if you don't have one go here and pick one randomly.

Pay-per-share is not supposed to work as of yet, I still have to code the part that calculates the timestamp-bound share reward according to block difficulty and pool operator configured pay per share fee.

Port : 8337
Long polling : enabled

Follow up question: When do I get access if everyone has been wiped and why did you announce that you gave me access with out notifying me, or was the above the announcement?
2755  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Mining Pool #2 Needs your webdesign skills | Send in your resume. on: June 07, 2011, 10:59:45 PM
Well I don't have any projects that aren't PHP, but I could do this pretty easily.

Do you have work PHP or not that you could show for?
2756  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Mining Pool #2 Needs your webdesign skills | Send in your resume. on: June 07, 2011, 10:51:41 PM
I don't have any coded examples that I can show at the moment, but some images:

I code my HTML by hand, mind you; none of that automagically generated junk you see coming straight out of Dreamweaver.

"But you're a new user with no reputation!"
If you're worried about me scamming you, then don't pay me anything until you're (completely, utterly) satisfied. I'll be fine working for free for the first couple drafts.
That's great I like the idea of someone coding by hand. I really need simple, simple, simple HTML tag structure so any n00b can be like OH! i want to change the logo So then they'll look through the HTML source and find class="logo", then they head on over to the Logo class in the CSS code and they find that everything is right there to change. No need to look through thousands of lines of CSS or HTML its just all there for plain viewing.

Basiclly it should be is simple structure as my current page http://mp3.fleshvirus.com but it should look like the layout's I've provided, I hope this makes sense Smiley
2757  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY] Open Source pooled mining platform with web interface on: June 07, 2011, 10:24:42 PM
Davout could you please explain to me what test-net and main net is? And how do I access these rights to viewing your setup?
2758  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [v3.2] Mining Pool #2 | Register_globals=off on: June 07, 2011, 08:07:20 PM
Xenland, i want to donate you a couple of btc, can you give the adress?
All donations can go to the address that was supplied with the package.
or my personal Donation Address: 12QY5HYbiT5Nx6fek8ss5pAywPsV3kqdu3
Thank you for your contribution, All donations from here on out will go to a web designer
We really need a good mining pool interface, I'm really sick of this "WHITE!", bland and boring look
to every mining pool service.
2759  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Mining Pool #2 Needs your webdesign skills | Send in your resume. on: June 07, 2011, 08:27:40 AM
So no php? 0_o
no php, I just need everything re skinned for the website link I included, I'll defiantly need a logo done as well now that I think about it.
The HTML/CSS coding should be as flexible as the CSS Zen Garden website, so anybody could make or edit there own style without a ton of
css classes and id's to look through in the coding.

Only jobs:
1]Rewrite html structure
2]Rewrite css structure
3]Must include skins for check boxes, radio, input, and submit buttons(may require javascript coding)
4]Create a main page with a big box that will contain a graph and under it will have a ticker showing simple Mhash/s type stats and worth of MtGox. Under the bix box will have 3 different boxes with areas for different types of interesting news that's going on with the bitcoins or articles

(Select a design to see the flexibility)

Is this the software you plan on releasing? looks pretty solid at the moment
yes, that's because is *is* pretty solid Wink
Lol but really is is.... Is solid
