2741  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ( IMPORTANT ) Scam site sportbet.io stealing money on: March 09, 2023, 09:00:53 PM
If you believe they acted unfairly, you can file a complaint with the Curacao regulator. But take some and compile a professional looking email and not the unreadable text you posted in the OP. Nobody with any self-respect would want to read that.

You can find the page to their license at the bottom of the Sportsbet.io page (btw, the name of the site is Sportsbet.io, and not Sportbet.io like you call it). The complains button eventually takes you to https://www.curacao-egaming.com/public-and-players/complaints-landing?domain=sportsbet.io. Read it and take it from there.
2742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Volare Project Going to cheat on: March 09, 2023, 08:38:45 PM
It's 2023 and about time that people stop participating in worthless bounties where the reward is even more worthless shit tokens that will never amount to anything. Begging on the street is more profitable, plus you are on the fresh air. Bounty campaigns paying crap rewards and cheating bounty participants has become such a normal thing that no one cares anymore. Don't play their games.

Nekoliko dobrih preporuka, zahvaljujem. Happy-Go-Lucky i Missing ću sigurno pogledati. Knock at the Cabin možda ako ne nađem ništa pametnije u tom trenutku.

Grin
Izlazi The Vikings film ili The Last Kingdom?

Electrum doesn't operate the servers that displayed those messages and attempted to phish people. Individual users did. I can operate a legitimate server and you can operate a malicious one using the same software client. Those kind of messages can no longer be sent, but I am just saying.

My client broadcasts transactions normally > You configured yours with other motives.
If people who connected to malicious servers paid attention to the what they downloaded, installed, and from where, no money would be lost. If the signatures were verified, they would notice something was off.

Jel to niko više ne gleda filmove ovdje? Smiley

2746  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DuckDice io Scam my deposit on: March 08, 2023, 07:19:37 PM
The best thing you can do now is to wait. DuckDice is aware of your case and their casino representative has responded to you publicly. Many sportsbook platforms don't welcome arbitrage bettors. If it's true that they have many similar cases, it might take some time to get to the bottom of things. Keep your calm and patience.
2747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: March 08, 2023, 06:54:07 PM
You claim to be one so prove it, there is an allegation of cheating from a cheater so Coinplay need not show proof  Cheesy
It doesn't work like that. In no normal country or venture can it be enough to point the finger at someone and say he did me wrong and that's all that needs to be done. Maybe in North Korea if you didn't applaud your dictator or in Iran if you are a woman not wearing her head scarf.

But I understand what you were trying to say with this:

I can invite a guy here who knows nothing about gambling only logic and common sense to read the topic and they can conclude that you have to prove that you are not a cheater on this one when you have a long list of casinos where you got ban or limited for alleged cheating, I think you're missing Coin_play post here, they can easily verify you as breaking their rules because you have a history of that.
It's like with ex cons. A criminal remains a criminal long after serving his prison sentence. It follows him in his social interactions or when he tries to get a job. If you were imprisoned for robbery and something big goes missing in your vicinity, guess who the police will come talk to and ask where you were at the time of the robbery?

I am not comparing OP to a criminal and ex con. I am just saying your history and actions follow you around.
2748  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Coinomi wallet hacked, all funds stolen on: March 08, 2023, 06:40:17 PM
A lot of more information could have been added to the OP.

- Was it Coinomi mobile or the desktop version?
- What activities is the device with the wallet used for?
- You said you were retired. Can we assume you are +60? How good are you with general online security, and do you know how to protect yourself?

But did you keep your seed phrase in a safe location, how sure are you that only you have access to it.
The questions were already answered in the OP. He/she said that the seed is kept in a safe and only OP can access it.

My advice is that you should create a new wallet and this time use a much stronger password.
I hope you don't mean a new wallet on Coinomi. I wouldn't use any software wallet for money I consider my "retirement funds". Go for a quality hardware wallet or an airgapped system. Sadly, it's too late to do anything about it for OP regarding the coins that disappeared.

and Electrum is the answer, more secure and free and Open Source.
That depends on how you use it. The mobile app or Electrum on desktop as hot wallet are still vulnerable software wallets. Its open-source nature isn't going to protect you from getting hacked if you make a serious mistake. However, Electrum as a cold wallet is one of the best options there are.
2749  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet software security on: March 08, 2023, 05:56:32 PM
Anyone who uses coinomi, does that also have the same way as trustwallet to access seed phrases?
I still have Coinomi installed on my phone from needing it several years ago. If you want to view your recovery phrase in Coinomi, you need to enter your password. Otherwise, you can't see it. I don't think the software has a biometric feature. I don't see it in the settings.

The wallet features two more privacy features:
- One disallows the phone to take screenshots while the Coinomi app is active. And it works.
- The second one is silly and makes little sense. It hides the balances in your wallet. The silly thing is you can enable/disable this feature with the click of a button. It doesn't ask you for your password.

Everything you said matches with what I just saw as well. When you activate the 2FA, Stake sends you an email where you need to confirm the activation. That's not the case when you want to disable it. I see no reason why they wouldn't require email verifications for both actions, but it doesn't matter now.

to confirm, they have updated it a day after my money was stolen, they now send an email when 2fa is deactivated.
They don't do that, no. Only when you want to activate it will they send you an email.

Also thats not even remotely close to what I said lol. I said there was no notification when 2fa is removed, no secondary email, no alert from the company nothing> I never said it can be removed without inputting a code.
From the way you explained it in your scam accusation thread, I got the impression that you meant to say that 2FA can be deactivated without entering the code. We misunderstood each other.

I quote:
No they sent no alerts and require no secondary auth at the time to confirm that 2fa was removed. That's entirely the point.
2751  Economy / Gambling / Re: I got frusted please help? on: March 07, 2023, 06:51:42 PM
My bot notified me that someone mentioned my name in this thread so here I am. The discussion is already 4 pages long and I am lazy to read it all.
I have said a while ago that I am planning to recommend only one casino/sportsbook whenever someone asks about it, and that's Sportsbet.io. You can bet on sports (pre-match and live), live dealer games, slots, table games, etc.

1. minimum withdraw amount should be less than 10$ or 10$
You can use my thread for that. Sportsbet's BTC minimum is around $10 currently. Some other coins have higher requirements.

2. no wager requirement before withdrawing
In your dreams. You can forget about that. The best you can find is between 0.5 and 1x your deposit amount.

3. no min deposit amount
The minimum deposit on Sportsbet is around 5$ in BTC according to current prices.
2752  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: March 07, 2023, 06:36:13 PM
What I was getting at is, no offence, but you're not good enough to get limited so how can you pass judgement. Though it's not just you. On this forum, limited means must have cheated. In reality, you get limited for consistently winning.
Fair enough. To add to my previous statement. When I was younger (and this was before crypto gambling became a thing), I had long periods of playing with 3 digit wagers (almost daily) on multiple online fiat casinos. Mostly on odds of 1.70 and above. I wouldn't call myself extremely successful, but there were fruitful months. Never once was I limited, banned, or investigated by any bookies. My priorities are a bit different now so I don't do that anymore.

If bachezy didn't do anything wrong and got wrongfully accused and had his money confiscated, he should continue fighting with a mediator and post the verdict here that proves that Coinplay was in the wrong. That's it. If no 3rd-party agrees with him or accepts to take his case, many will see it as case closed.
2753  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: March 06, 2023, 06:51:54 PM
Pmalek, and bitcoingirlclub I guess, do you bet with real money, not bonuses? Are you up or down overall lifetime?
I don't play casino games and since most bonuses revolve around casino games, I don't use them. I bet on sports from time to time when I see a good offer that I believe can work in my favor. Sometimes it does, other times it doesn't. Betting isn't my profession and I don't look at it as a job so I can't give you any numbers. I don't always bet online and do some betting in my local betting shops. No names, no digital proof, no tracking, and no historical records to check. Even if I had such stats, I see no reason why I would talk about it publicly with unknown internet users.
2754  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: March 06, 2023, 06:08:02 PM
I don't see any mention of letting the OP to withdraw the deposit. Where am I missed?
OP confirmed they can in the OP.
You can withdraw the deposited sum only."

And the casino representative confirmed it in their reply to the player:
You can withdraw the deposited sum only.

Although it's not clear to me what exactly the player did wrong (looks like that was the casino reps intention to not provide too many details), the fact that he is banned or limited on multiple other platforms makes me not want to trust OP. If he believes he was treated unfairly, he should get a mediator involved and see what they say.

Having been banned/limited on casinos 1, 2, 3... doesn't mean he should be on casino 4 as well, but I am starting to see a pattern.

The Lenovo Laptop price has been manually raised to $12k by the supplier due unconfirmed volume on warehouses.
That's a weird supplier you have there. I won't go as far as to call them untrustworthy or malicious, but I am thinking about it.
Supplier goes: We aren't sure if we still have this laptop in our warehouse, but you can always pay us $12,000 instead of $6.000. We would really appreciate it.
2756  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinwix.com Fake Exchange on: March 06, 2023, 05:23:05 PM
Regardless the reputation of this BestExchanger the fact it was labeled as scam by them and other users in trustpilot reviews makes it more clearer that its really a scam.
Maybe, but it's also about who calls you a scammer. Bitcointalk has a 2.9 review on Trustpilot. Over 50% of the posted reviews are for 1-star. If we trust customer reviews, we should all leave this forum right now. But neither good nor bad reviews mean they are true. Those who gave the forum 1-star reviews are probably butthurt scammers who got tagged, ex-members who got banned, and similar.

A question to Stunna and the Stake team.
A forum member alertoriole claims to have had his Stake account hacked and the hackers stole 165k in USDT from him. That's obviously not your fault, and you can't be blamed for players not securing their accounts.

However, the player claims that the 2FA on Stake can be deactivated without requiring the person to input a 2FA code to confirm the deactivation. Is that true and why is that possible in the first place? Can other Stake players confirm if that's true or not? Not only that, but the player's money was allegedly sent to other accounts in the form of tips. We are talking about tens of thousands of dollars. How can it be that such transactions don't sound any alarms on your end and you don't investigate what's going on?

The topic in question is Hacked for 165k STAKE.COM.

Any official stance from Stake and their team on all this?
2758  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacked for 165k STAKE.COM on: March 06, 2023, 05:03:35 PM
No they sent no alerts and require no secondary auth at the time to confirm that 2fa was removed.
If that's true, that's just an awful way to handle the security of customer funds. I use 2FA on many sites and not one of them can be deactivated without confirming the deactivation with a 2FA code entry. I will ask them publicly in the ANN thread why that is. Still, you are the one responsible for the security of your accounts. But it's not like Stake helped you in any way.

Tether was helpful but needs a police report, the company is the one that were robbed, it's their wallets and keys and so on, so I can't file a report on their behalf. They for some reason don't seem to think being hacked and robbed is a good enough reason to alert authorities.
Has Tether told you this, and has Stake confirmed they are not going to do anything about it and file a police report? Technically, they stole from the casino and from wallets that belong to Stake. But it's your money that was stolen.

Don't post multiple posts one after the other. Compile all the quotes in one post like I did now.

Nemoj ih slušat, što dalje od takvih
Možda si me pogrešno shvatio.

Vi ste bili one-time thing Smiley
Da, upravo to.
