2741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 3 coins that will make X10 in 2018 on: May 15, 2018, 11:26:48 AM
Growing 10x larger in a year is very difficult to attain especially this year where even bitcoin is not yet showing aggressiveness in the market. Nevertheless, if there's top 3 coins who will grow this year except btc then I'll go for Neo, Xrp and Etn (this is just in my own perspective).
2742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should bitcoin have risen a little slowly? on: May 15, 2018, 09:52:07 AM
Actually, I like this kind of situation where btc drop slowly but rises slowly too (in short, much stable) rather than having a big rise but having a devastating drop too (like what happened before 2017 ends). For me there's nothing to worry about this because btc's price still looks fine Smiley, it requires more patience than the usual for all of us to be honest but I think that's already easy to deal with since it is basically required before entering crypto world.
Going forward, do you think a slow steady rise, rather than a speedy erratic rise is good for bitcoin to get "accepted" all over the world?

I don't think so. Btc is famous for its characteristic of being volatile, if it becomes more stable in the long run then its now nearly comparable to fiat. Investors will not become interested anymore because the opportunity of making profit form btc's fluctuations is now less.

2743  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine breaking news (crypto news) on: May 15, 2018, 06:46:19 AM
Gayunpaman, nakaklungkot pa ring isipin na marami pa ring nabibiktima dahil dito siguro sa kadahilanang hopeless na sila at desperate nang kumita kaya  gina-grab nila agad without even conducting a research on that platform.

Here's my tip, pag ang offer sa inyo na investment plan eh konti lang ang puhunan at sobrang laki ng profit sa loob ng maikling panahon lamang then magtaka na kayo kasi napaka ideal ng mga ganyang scenario. Tama si OP, walang shortcut sa pagyaman.
2744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency/altcoins or token? on: May 14, 2018, 11:57:43 PM
It's okay for me to buy tokens but since I'm not yet a good trader then I now prefer cryptocureencies (btc and eth to be more specific) because I'm more comfortable to deal with them, much manageable and brings me a lot of profit of course.

But to be honest, if ever I'm now ready to become a trader then I am going to buy from the top 10 alts in the market instead of tokens because they are more stable and has greater potentials than the others. By doing this, I think I'll have a better chance of making profits.
2745  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: May 14, 2018, 12:26:29 PM
I definitely agree with the statement of sir Klaus, it will be a bad idea if we will use a volatile currency worldwide because every goods and services fluctuates also in accordance with the current price of that currency. Seems unfair right? Imagine that I bought a food at cheaper price but there's a chance that you can't do the same way due to price inflation or else you are willing to wait to come back in its cheaper price. Grin I'm sure that you cannot wait very long for that one because food is necessary for us.

I'm not saying that it's a bad idea to replace fiat with crypto (btc to be more specific) because it is possible. Assuming that mass adaption happened for btc, it will not become volatile anymore but now become as stable as an ordinary fiat; the only difference is that we now have a much "hi-tech" form of monetary system.
2746  Local / Pamilihan / Re: HOW TO AUTOMATICALLY BLOCK PHISHING SITES AND ANY UNWANTED WEB ATTACK!! on: May 14, 2018, 08:10:00 AM
@OP - First of all thank you sa information na ibinahagi mo sa amin Smiley.

Thanks in advance sir and more power Smiley.
2747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Insurance or cryptocurrency investment? on: May 14, 2018, 07:13:08 AM
At the end of the day, it's your final decision whether you pull out your money or not so choose wisely. But if I were you, I'll just hold my money on that insurance plan because that's basically important. At least you don't need to worry about the expenses if ever you are caugght in an accident or whatsoever (knock on the wood) because you already have a financial support.

I'll tell you frankly that there's no guarantee that you will be able to make profit if you invest your money in crypto due to its volatility. So much better to play safe, do not risk your money from your insurance. But if you really want to invest in crypto then just use your extra money, just remember that do not give it all but only give what you can afford to loose.

Anyway, if you are interested to have an insurance service and engage with blockchain technology at the same time then check this link: https://insurepal.io/
2748  Other / Meta / Re: Captcha /or similar service/ for newbies and jr.membrs, to prevent bots. on: May 14, 2018, 05:47:12 AM
That was a good suggestion for eradicating the bots but how about the low rank accounts who are piloted by real humans? I'm sure they will be greatly affected by this. I know that solving captchas is a very easy task but if you will do this over and over again then you may notice that it will be annoying and tiring as well.
2749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: May 13, 2018, 12:48:50 PM
I think that the cryptocurrency market us unique, because many investors don't understand blockchain technology.  So they rely upon experts on YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram for information, analysis, and advice.  As a result, we have the phenomenon of crypto influencers.  Some are reputable, like Carter Thomas of Coin Mastery, but others are not.  What's your opinion on Crypto influencers?  Are they good for this market and the cryptocurrency movement?  Do you take advice from them?  And who's good to follow?
Hoah! I'll try to search those experts for future reference Smiley.

Well, for me there's nothing wrong to take considerations on what crypto enthusiasts say because they can enlighten you on what the right thing to do. But remember, "too much is not always good" so do not whole heartedly depend on them. You should learn to trust your intuitions and make your own decisions. Don't be afraid if you fail, at least you learned from your own mistakes and you may used this to become a better trader.
2750  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: May 13, 2018, 11:01:40 AM
We see that all the time in some countries cryptocurrencies are banned or in the contrary they start to make a special regulation. It shows that everyone want to do something with it but don't really know what, yet. Maybe you guys can guess, as experts from the crypto community, what do we need for normal living in a blockchain world?
You already point it out dude, cryptocurrency is banned or have a very strict regulation — crypto is lack of Support. Though there are instances we heard from news that there are particular countries now starting to embrace the blockchain technology, this is a good news but still not enough to make a very huge progress. It would be great if all nations now start to support crypto, doing so will able crypto to revolutionize our kind of living and maximize its potentials.

I know that there are also technical aspects need to be considered first but that's already a small thing because I do believe that if someone shows interest and eagerness into something then he can provide solutions in any problems along his way.
2751  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BOUNTY MANAGERS na may negative trust on: May 13, 2018, 08:15:58 AM

2752  Other / Meta / Re: Admins cleaning out the rubbish threads? on: May 13, 2018, 06:47:17 AM
It's good news. I've noticed that some posters are starting to get aggresive towards the unintelligible spammers, and that isn't good for the forum. The next stage will be to get the bounty managers to do the moderation, or get fined for the extra work they create for the mods.

I would like to see if the forum can make an association of  managers where there is a standard and test before you can become a managers, because you know, bad moderation from managers lead to spam.
That was a nice suggestion actually because it will increase the quality standard of campaign managers here in the forum and could be able to eradicate the irresponsible ones.

No offense sir, I disagree a little bit in some part of your statement. I think it's very unfair if we only blame the campaign manager if his participants do a lot of spamming/shitposting. Yeah! He is wrong somehow for not picking a good quality poster, but at the end, he is not the one who did the violation. The one who did misconduct (spammer/shitposter) should be the one who must face the consequences.
2753  Other / Meta / Re: Send merit to friend, is that allowed?? on: May 13, 2018, 01:21:29 AM
~
There are dozens of topics on the same questions, which published before this one. How did this one receive 15 merits? Really ridiculous, right?
Yup, maybe the senders of merit are all of his friends. Maybe I'm wrong but probably right Grin.
Yes but let's be honest! How many of us have one friend on an online forum? almost no one. How many of us have 3 or more friends? Very often the word friend stands for "alt account".
Honestly, I only have few (about 2 to 3) but seems not a lot of help because they are not giving merit points for my good quality posts anymore. It only happened once because we are all afraid to be accused for merit abusing even though it's a fact that we all had good quality of posts and there's nothing friendship involved.
2754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: new to this things on: May 12, 2018, 11:48:33 PM
I'm not saying that being afraid is good but at least you can avoid committing mistakes because of it. I think that's reasonable since you're a beginner so all you need to do for now is to study first. Study everything about crypto trading, it's concept, jargons and some helpful tips also. And the good news is looking for books is not necessary at all (though helpful too) because this forum can already gprovide you lots of informations about it plus personal experiences coming from our co-members which may also consider.

Furthermore, if you also have a friend who knows how to deal with crypto trading then approach him to guide you. And when the time that you are now ready, practice first with the basic coins such as btc, eth or xrp before going to less known tokens.
2755  Local / Pamilihan / Re: your 500php worth of ETH exchange to my 600globe load on: May 12, 2018, 01:42:23 PM

2756  Economy / Speculation / Re: These drops are very bad for newbies and new investers! on: May 12, 2018, 11:30:11 AM
You have a point somehow, new investors or aspiring bitcoin earners will get scared due to these dips which may lead to slow progress on crypto community. I wish that all of them think the way like we do (old bitcoin holders); able to to look at the bright side, not so much scared anymore and stay calm despite of these bad moments. But sad to say, they don't Sad.

I think the right thing we should do to stop them for being scared and discouraged is guide them. Explain to them that this kind of nature (fluctuations) is normal in crypto world, and there's nothing to worry about as long as they are wise in making decisions.

2759  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: May 09, 2018, 11:36:05 PM
To be honest, that's definitely frustrating Sad. I can't also imagine myself in a situation where my losses is now slightly more than half of my input. I understand if their advices about hodling will not sink in your mind because of stress and confusion. But I'm sorry to say, you must do it because that's the best option to do. Just stay calm, be brave and wait for btc to skyrocket again.

Here's a tip, look at your savings in terms of btc not in terms of fiat to at least feel some relief.
2760  Economy / Economics / Re: can you imagine bitcoin as your prime currency. on: May 09, 2018, 10:58:07 PM
Well, for me there's no problem at all, I'll agree with that because now all I need is my phone and an internet connection wherever I go. Even my expenditures if I go to other countries wouldn't become a problem at all since btc is no need to be converted.

The bottomline, I'm willing to use btc as a primary currency but the problem is I don't see any opportunities here to do so. Though crypto is not restricted here in our country, it still not well known and broadly implemented. Nevertheless, i'm still hopong that it will change someday.
