2741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be taking 1st place in 2020? on: March 05, 2020, 11:52:52 PM
Ethereum has been steadily on the rise for a good while now, and this first half of Q1 2020 has proven that they have brought that same energy into the new decade. They have started 2020 with a bang, more than doubling in value in just 2 months.

There are quite a few factors that have come into play to make this a winning year for Ethereum and here are just a few: https://thecoinshark.net/en/5-reasons-why-ethereum-is-winning-in-2020/amp/

What do you think we can expect to see for the rest of the year?

Ethereum is already getting bullish and has its own popularity as a token in the market. But overtaking or surpassing bitcoin is I think not gonna happened, from the past years Ethereumstill have bad records.

This 2020 bitcoin is getting a very good start compared to ETH, at some point bitcoin is still profitable because of the volatility of the token. It is possible that Ethereum could surpass bitcoin when it comes to market price but it doesn't mean it is going to happen when it comes to cryptocurrency or blockchain the first thing that comes in mind is bitcoin, not Eth. Popularity makes bitcoin get a lot of demand in the market and its own technology making it superior compared to other cryptocurrencies.
2742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: March 05, 2020, 11:38:24 PM
On the off chance that you intend to put money/Funds into Alts, kindly do your own examination and know that deceitful advertising sensationalizes pretty much every altcoin projects. Altcoins, and the organizations behind the projects are additionally helpless against guideline, Bitcoin isn't.

Bitcoin is the far superior investment for 2020. Not exclusively is it seen as a place of refuge resource, but at the same time it's the first digital money and consistently leads blockchain advancement through it's BIP procedure

If you must hold altcoin because they always bring better profits do not go too deep and make sure your altcoins are top altcoins
Profit in this 2020 is really difficult comparing it to the past years when it comes to trading in the market. I think I don't really recommend investing in altcoins since it could be really difficult to gain profits in many tokens.

I think some popular altcoins could really be profitable like ETH, XRP, BCH, etc. other than that it will be a hard profit. Still, I think bitcoin still the number one when it comes to profit and surely you are not going to lose money when you invest in bitcoin (there will be no losses if you are not going to sell your bitcoin). Also volatility the market price could easily recover from dump since the demand in demand is already high.
2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: March 05, 2020, 11:27:11 PM
Hello crypto lovers,

I have written this article on 5 ways to earn crypto without investing or mining, I think this is very important as it is the best way to introduce new people into the cryptocurrency. The article link it below. Please feel free to share it with anyone who is looking for ways to earn crypto.

https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-101/5-ways-earn-crypto-without-investing-or-mining-xozwx?a=GELe3POa69

Do you know any other ways outside of the article? I am always looking for more ways to earn crypto to educate people. Also I would recommend that you look at the blogging platform the article is written on, it's one of the ways you can earn crypto for free.

You create content for people to read, similar to Steemit. There are two ways you earn crypto.

1 - Creating content - Users tip your article, you receive those tips.

2 - Tipping articles - When you want to tip an article, you choose how much of the tip you give to the article and how much you keep. You have to tip at least 20%. You get a certain amount of daily tips.

When you tip it rotates currently between HYDRO, Bounty0x and DAI. In the future, they will be adding BAT to the tokens you will own, i don't know if it will be added to the rotation, or they will tip more in BAT.

I really like the platform, and i would recommend it to anyone who likes to read / create crypto content or who wants to earn some established tokens. Remember that all these tokens are listed on exchanges and CoinMarketCap, so they all have a value, you don't need to worry about the bounty paying out or the token being of a value.

You can sign up through the link in the thread, and its free and easy. Hope to see you guys there!

P.S. If you like the article and sign up, give a tip for appreciation  Smiley
You could indeed learn cryptocurrency even if you don't invest or do mining. For sure this forum is already enough to get a lot of information, learn how to invest, learn what is cryptocurrency or bitcoin.

But surely until the time you really invested in cryptocurrency is the only time you could experience how really trading works. Not all of the information is you could apply since some of them are just speculations in the market.
2744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: March 05, 2020, 11:09:27 PM
What is your story of not being able to access your Bitcoin wallet with Bitcoins in them.

What have you tried to retrieve them?
It was in poloniex exchange where I invested (for long term investment) I'm not really aware that investing in a exchange for a long term investment is not really a good idea or not advisable.

Back in the days, I love trading since I trade daily and sometimes I could make 20$ in a day just in trading my tokens alone. For one to two years I invested my bitcoin there, and I get a lot of issues when it comes to the transaction and withdrawing my investment where I lose some money. And then my phone broke and I couldn't open my account in poloniex because of the 2FA authentication and there is no backup and pm the support but they are not really active(or do anything that really helps). I already forget that investment until last year when I try to open my account again and suddenly I can now open it with some verifications.
2745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it have volume ? on: March 05, 2020, 11:01:47 PM
Sometimes, as a trader or an investor. you wonder why you miss out on tokens that does 400-6000 % increase.

You will also wonder how it missed your grasp, but do you bother to check if it has volume ?
Do you bother to check if it has buyers ? Do you further find out, if it a true pump ?

Be patient, and figure out your research functions well.

I hope i was able to present my views. do correct and suggest further opinions too
Before investing my money in a token I really do check the volume and all of the details in the token that I'm going to invest especially if you are really investing a big amount of money in a token.
But if I'm just investing just a small amount of money in a token sometimes I don't check all the details and just invest, we never really know or predict what could happen in the market price of that token.

We cannot really predict the dump and pump of the token because there are just so many factors that affect it investing really is a gamble, but the thing is if you will not sell your token you will not lose(only in bitcoin).
2746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 05, 2020, 04:54:17 PM
It's no more news that many of us would have had some horrible experiences participating in some resources wasting projects. However, my opinion is that, do bounty managers just accept hook line and sinker to manage bounty campaigns for any project without taking some time to look at the prospects of such project?

I think there should be some experienced members of this forum apart from moderators (because moderators' works might be too enormous) that should be in charge of reviewing projects before bounty managers are allowed to create bounty and/or announcement threads for such projects.  If this can be done effectively, I think the advent of these unworthy projects can be mitigated.

To wrap it up, a bounty manager once told me when I called his attention to some unrealistic plans of the project he was managing, he said he is not concerned about the success of the project, once he gets his weekly payment from the team. I want to know if there are some levels of punishment for bounty managers that manage unworthy projects apart from negative trust?
Surely these Bounty managers are also getting hired to run and manage the project when it comes to campaigns. Just like the bounty hunters, they are also getting paid so when it comes to the authenticity of the projects or the ICO surely the bounty managers have nothing to do with it. Most of the ICO's or bounties that are scam most like the bounty managers are also a victim of this the basic job is to manage and distribute the reward.

But there are still some campaigns when the bounty managers are an accomplice in the scam or they plan to scam the participants including the bounty manager.
2747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 05, 2020, 04:25:09 PM
After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...
Share your thoughts, I would love to hear you out
It is possible and happened already several times in the past, both of the bitcoin and altcoins should have the connections affecting its market price but in this day there are just so many factors that are affecting the resistance of the market price of bitcoin and altcoins in this days the delay in the market, etc. Affect a lot and the bitcoin market price and altcoins market price is already affected by a lot of factors this day, the thing that should happen is not happening this day. Delays in the market price of bitcoin and altcoins could easily occur so for me it is obviously possible for the altcoins in the market to be bullish even without the bitcoin getting bullish in the market because of the delays.
2748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: March 04, 2020, 11:57:07 PM
Look at what happening around. The first cryptocurrency bitcoin was invented to reduce the hassle of third party and have borderless transaction. Isn't it true? Now, look at what happening. People are more into investing it than using it as currency.
Most interesting is people are most interested in coin which give more ROI, they are not interested in the currency-ish of a currency.
For example, some people are talking a lot about BSV, but if they have some research, they will never take it as currency, but as this is giving a good return now, it's best for them. Why man? Why don't we look into a decentralized coin? Why do we only take it as investment? Did Satoshi ever take it as investment? Or he invented Bitcoin for borderless payment and solution to the intermediaries problem?
For now, surely the cryptocurrency is not yet tending to replace the fiat currency since fiat currency is still the circulating currency and it is the main currency of all of the countries, circulated by the central banks and already recognized by the community. Comparing it to bitcoin where there is still a small percentage that trusted bitcoin as a currency. A lot of people still don't trust bitcoin afraid that it is just some kind of scam or pyramiding scheme. I think bitcoin was still a great choice for just an alternative for fiat money for online use and also an alternative payment option for everyone, but surely we never know what is going to happened in the coming years I can't really imagine how bitcoin is going to be a currency that the government is going to use as the main currency but I think adjustments could go in the future.
2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: March 04, 2020, 11:49:59 PM
I bought more Litecoin at $61 a few weeks ago, then watched its price rise to the low 80s.

Then everyone started shitting themselves over this Corona Virus bullshit, so the price retreated to $60 again.  If I'd been able to predict the future I'd have sold at $80 and bought back in at $60, but I didn't.

So I lost some profits.  Farq.
I think this is a good opportunity for you to invest in bitcoin since the market price is dump to 8k$ from 10k $, in my opinion, this is a good opportunity because the price is surely going to pump in the coming months considering there is a bitcoin halving event. Also, the bitcoin demand is already there so for sure your investment, you will not be going to lose profit anyway if you are not going to sell your bitcoin for most of the time people will sell their bitcoin or lose hope in the token if the price drop if you are not going to hold your bitcoin for a long term until the market pump surely this is going to be a profit loss to you.
2750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: March 04, 2020, 11:45:30 PM
Many find it hard to invest any money on bitcoin or altcoin but now that we are in a good crypto year I think its wise if you hold few good top coins but if you don't have any money make sure you hold parts of coins or tokens you earned from bounty, remember what happened to most bounty rewards in 2017? I feel same thing will happen this year, I still see people who hold GowithMi tokens and they are happy holding it, just a piece of advice

But make sure they are good projects, some bounty projects are better dump off than holding them, you have to find that out yourself, example of good bounties was Tokoin, Gowithmi, Sero, TemTum, they are worth holding, thanks
Investors token is not going to fall in the same trick or ICO, That is why the bounty reward this day is not going to be the same the last time in 2017 when a bounty reward was a gold.

ICO's today is having a hard sell because there only a few investors that are going to be interested in investing in that token and also there are already thousands of these token when the demand of the tokens is divided.
2751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best project for investing in 2020? on: March 04, 2020, 11:38:05 PM
Hi guys,
I have one bitcoin and I want to invest it in 3 or 4 projects that have a good potential for return of investments. And because of existing a lot of projects, I hope that you suggest to me some projects according to your visions so I can study them and choose which I can invest in.
Thank you.
I think overall bitcoin is still the best investment in the market even if the price of bitcoin drop today it could easily make a profit also it is a good opportunity to invest in bitcoin because the price is a dump to 8k$.

Other than bitcoin I think Ethereum has its potential to pump since the price is already dumped from the past bullish price, and also XRP could be a great investment since the price is still low you could easily buy a big volume of investment.
2752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 04, 2020, 11:28:46 PM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations
You have your point but it will always be a scam when the team didn't reach the right amount of investment the token will be released in the market since the team or funds needed is not reach.

This is already common to ICO it would be right if you could refund your money if you invest in the token and if the funds do not reach or the token is not successful you should be able to withdraw your money.
2753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go again on: March 04, 2020, 04:24:36 PM
As of today March 4 India lift the ban on crypto, how is this going to affect crypto market? Coronavirus is still out there, is this good or not good enough?

This could affect a lot when it comes to the market price of the cryptocurrency losing 1 country. One country could obviously give a demand in cryptocurrency losing them could dump the market price this could also be the reason why the market price of bitcoin and altcoins in the market today bounce back, Especially bitcoin that bounce back from 10,000 dollars. For me, this is not a good move for India since bitcoin could be a very good asset in their country and could be very useful for a lot of companies there. Banning bitcoin in India could affect the economic growth in their country, even China is starting to see the potential of this cryptocurrency and i think they already started to use it as an asset.
2754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 04, 2020, 03:45:39 PM
As we all know, porn sites are at the top which are frequently visited by people in the internet world. So in my opinion if a porn site accepts
payments with bitcoin it will make bitcoin more popular and used by many people.Because transactions on porn sites we need privacy and
bitcoin can provide a solution. But on the other hand we have to admit porn sites can make the image worse in the eyes of some people.
So in your opinion, if a porn site accepts payments with bitcoin can make bitcoin more popular or will it be dangerous for the future of bitcoin
because it brings negative effects?

In my own opinion porn sites using bitcoin will not have negative effects because this is what bitcoin is, a currency it is meant to be a payment option that we could use even in this kind of websites I think having bitcoin in this websites helps bitcoin to influence a lot of people to use bitcoin. I think the only bad thing where bitcoin has negative effects is in the dark web or black market where bitcoin is used as a currency in buying illegal things like drugs, guns, etc. Don't get me wrong having bitcoin in this kind of website also help in the mass adoption of bitcoin but at the same time bitcoin having a bad image since the dark web is rumor to be illegal. That's is why people having the perspective that bitcoin is illegal or just a big scam in the market.
2755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: March 03, 2020, 11:58:03 PM
SEC fined Steven Seagal for advertising ICO. The actor did not disclose information about the funds received for the promotion of the project, which could mislead investors, the Commission explained.

Since the ICO, the price of the Bitcoiin2Gen token advertised by Segal has fallen by 99%.

do you think celebrities know that they advertise scam projects or they just don’t understand what they are doing? I think this is a big problem for the market

This could be common in a lot of countries or i think in my country youtube celebrities are the most common that is promoting ICO's and different platforms which is I think just a scam.

Since in my opinion that could be a sponsored video, I think they are just a great platform that the scam ICO's could use to promote their token or their platform from a lot of people.
Also they influencers could really be effective for a lot of times since they could easily get the trust of the community but in the end, they are just getting paid to promote but not going to pay for it if you are going to get scam by this ICO or platforms.
2756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is it possible there are altcoins costing more than BTC? on: March 03, 2020, 11:48:00 PM
It is easy to create token that has a high market price in the market what you need to do is create a token that has a limited supply in the market just like what they are doing in an ICO.

If the token only has a limited supply and you created a token that the market price of the token should increase... It is basically what happened to that altcoins list.
But the point is bitcoin has a volume and also demand when most of the altcoins doesn't have, But still, it is not possible that there are altcoins that are costing more than Bitcoin but the post is bitcoin is always the best in investment, investing this token that has a high price in the market could not be worth like investing in bitcoin.
2757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is no different than a fiat currency? on: March 03, 2020, 11:37:45 PM
https://offthechain.substack.com/p/eth-is-no-different-than-a-fiat-currency

I just read the article above and would like to know whats your take on this. For me it seems true that Bitcoin is much more decentralized than Ethereum and so, much different than fiat money compared to Ethereum, still Ethereum aim is to reduce Eth issuance and it's much more transparent than fiat money. I would say Eth it's not so different as Bitcoin but still very different than a fiat currency and more decentralized.

Correct. Ethereum is nowhere near fiat currency. Bitcoin has a small and limited supply compared to ethereum and fiat. Ethereum still has not a limit but the issuance of new coins would be highly regulated after the issuance and transfer to proof of stake. It would still work as a utility token but would not be as effective to use for general day to day transactions.
Still, the word (No Different) is kinda wrong at some point, Ethereum was justs different from bitcoin since Ethereum was just a replica of bitcoin.

Ethereum was obviously just like a fiat currency that is digital because of  "the asset's lack of fixed supply, inflationary supply schedule, and centralized decision-making group".
Still, circulation and inflation, etc could somehow be relatable in ETH and fiat money. Ethereum is still a cryptocurrency or digital money.
2758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: March 03, 2020, 11:21:45 PM
Everybody in our Crypto Community is happy that we are going in right direction with building value of Bitcoin. This is really appreciable how BTC is improving in each single day. No doubt Bitcoin deserve attention of the world due to its features in any means.

But with the bitcoin most of us also trading or Hodling altcoins together in our portfolio which is logical. Most of the time Bitcoin and Altcoin work inversely proportional i mean when bitcoin is moving upward in mean time altcoins start crashing.

But in last bull run jan 2018 we seen every thing was going to the moon. Now i want to know community opinion.

Are we going for a Bull run like 2018, Or this time Bitcoin and altcoins will unleashed separately.
It should be vice versa when Bitcoin goes up the altcoins should go down that's how the market should work.

But if you are observing the movement of the market you could already see that the bitcoin and altcoins are bullish together and also dump at the same time.
I think this is due to delays and also there are so many things that we need to consider when speculating the movement in the market.
But for sure only popular altcoins in the market could pump with bitcoin at the same time.
2759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway on: March 02, 2020, 10:23:25 AM
Pls suggest me legitimate airdrop and giveaway or where i can find list of airdrop.
I am looking for airdrop that listed in exchange it doesn't matter how much its price or at least token from exchange that you can use to trade in thier exchange.
Even twitter giveaway if you know one pls comment here.
Thank you
Most of the time the token airdrops are not yet out in the market but still it could still be profitable overtime if you airdrop a good token in the market. But for me i think this is not worth it since a lot of tokens in the market are dead tokens also scams in ICO or tokens are everywhere so hunting this airdrop might not be worth of the time so spend in it.

Just an advice i think you should spend most of the time in other things like campaigns, works, trading etc. which is i think in my opinion worth the time and could be more profitable than airdrops.
2760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency. on: March 01, 2020, 11:47:48 PM
Cryptocurrency vs. Fiat currency, which of the two do you think better? There so many differences between those two kinds of currency, but what currency do you prefer more, what currency suits your wants and needs,

First things first, let us define the two currencies. Cryptocurrency is all the money we have online, it is decentralized and global, it can be bitcoin, etheruem, litecoin, XRP, and many others. which is a currency that is volatile, which means it changes its price day by day, there is no static price to all of it, so it is outstanding in investing and trading in cryptocurrency and patience is what you only need here. While Fiat currencies are those physical currencies that you can touch and use to buy in real life, such as Pesos, dollars, etc. those are what we called the central government, which has a fixed price at all.
Just like what you said we all like cryptocurrency since it could give us a profit when you are investing in it but you still cannot use it most of the time since it is not yet accepted or trusted by a lot of people or even by the government. It is already a thing to use fiat money because there is circulation on your central bank and we still need to when we are buying things in our country, not all people or stores is going to accept bitcoin so if you wanted to use your bitcoin the first thing you need to do is to convert your bitcoin to fiat money.

Still, bitcoin and fiat money have their advantage and disadvantage but in conclusion, both of the currency is still important to us and has its own use.
