Thanks for this very helpful information, it might not all Ledger Nano wallet users are aware of this but for sure most newbies (or new Ledger wallet users) here probably aware if they will read your thread. This case is similar to this thread, created by @witcher_sense, a fake google chrome extension and now might emails accounts and phone numbers of this wallet users might be breached by the scammers. Probably, if you will receive an email from Ledger Nano much better if you will ignore it. It might have malicious content for the link that they send. Maybe @witcher_sense will consider this thread and belong to his SCAM LIST.

That's great, you helped the crypto community becomes wide, and probably once your friends will fully understand what crypto is, they surely do the same as what you'd did to them. I appreciated people who are willing to spend time just to educate other people that didn't know what is a cryptocurrency, I hope you explain to them very well also the possible risk of investing in either altcoins or Bitcoin and Dogecoin is a good start to invest.
People become greedy if you will talk first about the profit that we potentially get upon investing in crypto, but if you talk about how important and usage of crypto to us, they might understand the function and how will work this crypto so that they can avoid the possible risk.
Anyway, you did a good job here.

OK, let's just say not many of us really believed bitcoin will hit $20,000 this year or this soon.
Probably I belong to those people that believed Bitcoin will reach in the new ATH but the sad thing to know ain't able to hoard a large amount of my Bitcoin due to the fact that I always in need of money since the pandemic was hit worldwide and becomes financial is one of the most priority to those who affected, including me. If there's no lockdown implemented and my small business and job didn't lose, still I have my source of income and it might be I'm still holding a huge amount of Bitcoin until now but unfortunately, I sold them all, and now I was regret that I don't even have Bitcoin in my wallet. And, no matter what, be proud of your contributions to the development and adoption of the Bitcoin phenomenon, because, we won't be here today without you. If you mined you helped stabilized its decentrality. If you sold you helped in its fare distribution. If you held you helped others to believe in Bitcoin.
I tend to agree with your point, all you've mentioned above was right. Engaging in Bitcoin will give a healthier market whether which option you have to choose. Influence is the most important factor which Bitcoin becomes having awareness in many investors.

The question is, can we trust this platform in purchasing 1 Bitcoin for the sake of affiliate and earn only 90 Euros for your $23K plus worth of Bitcoin? It's kinda risking your money with this platform that has negative reviews. Upon having small research I found out that this Ibandirect isn't trusted and there are too many scam reports and reviews based on TrustPilot Reviews which is obviously those who give positive review are dummy accounts. Another factor is I don't know if there's someone willing to disclose their privacy upon purchasing Bitcoin, it seems this platform has AML/KYC verification as I have read on this https://ibandirect.com/aml-policy. Anyway, good luck with the promotions you have, just reminds you that posting referral links here is strictly prohibited.

Current Merit system works same as 'Rich gets richer and Poor gets poorer'. ( IMHO)
In my opinion, there is no perfect system but you have to admit that before the merit system the situation had gotten out of hand with people trying to rank up by literally spaming every part of the forum. Yes, certain good posts are being ignored and other, maybe less deserving posts, are getting more merits but it's better than the previous system. I tend to agree, this is how the merit system works, to eliminate and filtering newbies to rank up if they are here just to keep spamming. I think the requirement of a newbie to rank up in Jr. Member rank is just to earn single merit, just 1 merit need to earn. By that stage, if you didn't even get single merit within a week or let say a month, you're just literally not contributing to the forum. We should be thankful for the merit system that has been implemented, there's no account farming and spamming in the forum. Everyone does their best and contributing to the forum and hoping that one-day merit sources or any merit sender will find their constructive post. In my own experienced, yes, I'm poor and had a bad English writing skill, IMHO, the merit system helped me to improved myself and motivated me to push and do research before dropping a relevant post with correct information and willing to accept mistakes if there is. Your merit will find you if are doing a constructive and helpful post.

I'm trying to incorporate the ether profit formula in an excel worksheet. Does anyone have a formula that works? I saw an earlier post about the formula and could not get results that were anywhere near correct.
Upon having quick research, I found this thread stated about the Ethereum (ETH) mining profit formula, it might this is what you are looking for, and here is a quote that I think is correct and relevant towards your question. I don't think you need block time in the formula. $/day = (hashrateMHs * block rewards *1,000,000 / difficulty) *60*60*24*ETH price.
I also didn't know if I'm right, I just guessing your question of what it is due to its unclear details. Well, good luck with your mining, and I hope you will come back give us an update.

I visited the site and tried to vote without registering an account and this is what I got. " Please re-enter your reCAPTCHA. " There might be an error or something that your site didn't work well. Here I check and add all scam sites. Please contribute.
There are too many of them, when you are talking about all scam sites, there would be a specific category of each scam site that you wanted to list on your site. There's no need to have a rating or voting pool, it's enough to know people that it is a scam site that they must avoid. Knowingly all cloud minings are a scam, no one of them has existed even for years because it usually ends up scamming people. So, all cloud mining sites are a red flag for me. Anyway, you can visit this board if you want to research scam sites, with proper valid proof if you are accusing them of a scam. Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Trading Discussion > Scam Accusations

How do I safely recover my losses, preferably over a short period of time?
Chasing your loss from trading isn't a good practice, you should set first an amount that you willing to put at risk, no matter what happens win or lose you will never chase it. That's why in trading, there's a saying that trade an amount that you can afford to lose and accept those consequences ahead once there's a failure. Just move on and accept your losses, just sit back and analyze very well your failure which should never happen again. That's my personal advice IMO even though ain't a regular trader but I know how to control my feelings and emotions. Anyway, if you were really desperately wanted to recover your losses it will probably take time for you to do that. There's no way to gain massive profit in just a short period of time, there's a process in it.

I dont see any valid proof, it's a totally pointless and nonsense scam accusation.
It's an act of revenge towards your busted scam project? Walk away and move on. I would say, don't feed the troll.

It's now defaulted only for crypto payment and I think, they will no longer accept Mastercard or Visa as a payment processor just because some countries blocking funds to this adult site due to some restrictions. Monero is one of the best payment methods when it comes to privacy, I didn't surprise if this coin belongs to the selection as a payment processor. You can read it here for more information regarding that matter, Pornhub: Now Accepting Crypto Only (NSFW). I think OP you need to add (NSFW) in your title thread.

How I wish to have that amount of money, that's a huge amount here in my country and probably I will live luxurious together with my family if I ever had that amount. That's a huge amount, you can manage to buy a Ferrari car and invest Bitcoin or any stock that you might invest, let's just say, 40% for the car and 60% is just for investment, you can completely split that amount if you really wanted to have a car, but not a luxurious one(I think $70M) for the most expensive Ferrari car and you can buy worth of $350,000 2020 Ferrari 488 Pista Spider is probably worth enough.
Secure first your future wealth, it seems to be good if you have many investments or even have your own business to have a better future. If you believe Bitcoin is a safe have, you can choose this too.

That's true, Bitcoin created for the purpose of having transparency through public ledger, though it's not designed for anonymous instead, it can give you more than enough privacy if this is your concern.
My question is, is your Bitcoin address linked to your personal identity? Then how?
You can use mixer service as mentioned above, mixing method is a process that tries to break the linkability or traceability towards your privacy, and in addition above aside from Wasabi that gives free service of mixing coin. You can also use Bitmix and Samurai Whirlpool to increase your anonymity.

People in trading just come and go, there will be newcomers or old traders who survive in the crypto trading industry. I don't know who are those in 1% but probably they are those people who are willing to risk and spend more time in trading. In trading failed, not all become successful, if there's a winner there could be a loser and that's how trading will work.
It might be the reason that there are always new beginners in trading that hoping they will earn money and thought that it is easy to trade and gain profit. But the fact, that isn't, it is required skills and strategies before you will become a successful trader and probably those who failed can't able to survive and the choose quitting than to survive.

I'm not sure why Google Safe Browsing wouldn't flag these out though, perhaps Electrum isn't at the top of their priority.
The same question and how many reports before they will take action and then delete the malicious ads. I remember before they had been fought scams and fraud activities and even ads related to crypto they tend to ban from them, but why they can't filter all of these fake apps and sites. I don't know how many victims of these fakes apps from google ads, but all I can say is to have an immediate report to them once we found fake or any malicious links that come from google ads. I've already reported.

To cut the possible high fees on exchange upon withdrawal I think the suggestion of @bL4nkcode was right, just choose here in the forum the P2P transaction on this board, Currency exchange. But once again as he said, beware of a scammer, always deal with those reputable rank members if you don't want to use escrow. I think no one will scam $4 worth with at least full member rank without negative feedback on profile. I have found an exchange but it needs for you to add more BCH just to meet their minimum requirement which is 0.0182478 BCH. Source

It seems like you're late for that news. It was already published on Coindesk a months ago, and explained it here Why This Sex Industry Executive Loves Bitcoin. This will surely bring more awareness to people to engage more in crypto, different business industries are now probably notified that how Bitcoin and other cryptos will help when it comes to a payment system without using credit card or any form of payment that reveals your privacy.

Seeking a way to find an extra income on the internet is not just easy, to tell you frankly, it needs skills and patient before it works. Those options you mentioned above aren't a method to earn quick money, you still need to have patience before you will earn that money and I don't think $1 hourly is easy to target. It might you can apply for this since this is my eldest sister's part-time job online. It's a paid teaching job online, I heard that they pay $1 per hour in every session had per one customer through this company, https://www.acadsoc.ph/. ...and here's more. 15 of the Best Paid Online Teaching Jobs.

2030? Very interesting to discuss, but why think about 2030? is it certain that 2021 Bitcoin will really reach the new all time high?
It might be yes it might be no, who knows. Prediction for Bitcoin price 10 years from now maybe there's a lot of changes since we don't have any superstitious power to know what lies ahead ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Seriously, paying attention to Satoshi's statement. I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume. This means even the person who created it doesn't give a guarantee on the future of Bitcoin either it will succeed, or it will fail. If we will look back on the history of gold, for some reason government tend to ban golds ownership after legalizing it first for they lose control of the properties and assets of their citizens and just legalized it again when they were able to regulate it and subject the gold to their jurisdiction. Bitcoin's greatest opponent is its ideology of decentralization that is against the government's principle. Chances are if the government will continue to legalize Bitcoin and gain absolute adoption then I'm not confident that Bitcoin will reach a million of dollars price for the government itself will create a project that will assist and make bitcoin conducive to everyone. However, if the other way happens then, there's no price we need to predict like what Satoshi mentioned: " no volume at all".

No one can predict the future of Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies price same as we can't conclude if there will be a one world currency or not because currently as I see, no government will be willing to lose control on the market and financial circulation over their citizens. Furthermore, it is far from the reality that all the countries will be united and sovereignty will be dispersed equally to every government.
In simple words like China and the USA, they will not allow that the currency they initially owned will no longer consider as solely and exclusive to their territory instead it will be replaced by a digital currency that is owned by no one and will be used in all part of the world in which they will totally lose control over it. One thing we can be sure of is that cashless transactions will be accepted globally or worse might be implemented as a law in the mere future.

It's an unclear question and OP didn't back yet.
But this similar to if we are talking about transferring your Bitcoin into other accounts then there is a way where you can transfer your Bitcoin to someone if it is already deemed necessary. To be fair with OP IMO we can only cross the bridge when we get there for circumstances may differ from what we are expecting and the advice that we will provide may not be the best one or suitable to the exact situation that anyone of us could possibly be when we are already there.
Another thought if you are talking on the Bitcointalk account as said above, following his suggestion is a good decission. Though as early as possible, for me it wouldn't be too bad if you plan to hand your account to someone by making him aware and get him to familiarize with the thing you are about to have him hereafter, instead, do as suggested above of my post.
