Everyone praising the effort of Ireland, but I still need to remind that they need to actually win matches. What matters is the point in ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. Ireland lose all three matches in the series and got 0 points from 3 matches. Now they have just 68 points from 21 matches. Just three matches remain, and they need two wins to secure direct qualification to the next ODI world cup. It doesn't matter if they lose the match by 1 run or 100 runs. In the end, they need points to advance their position in the Super League.
They are trying and they have also come close to winning a match. Ireland have played excellently but they need to play better than the NZ side to win a match, which I feel is not that easy for the Irish side. If they cannot get points this time then they will qualify next time because they are gaining experience which they will utilise next time |

The Indian Cricket Board wants Virat Kohli to play in the T20 World Cup. Although his day is not going well now. Most likely some more matches could give him a chance. However, in this case, there are more players, combination new and old, they should be given a chance. But now it is understood that India is doing its best to keep the whole T20 World Cup in front of it to do better. However, it is not yet clear whether the player will change in the T20 squad.
India needs experienced players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma on a platform like the World Cup. Virat Kohli is now going through the worst time of his career. He has been consistently performing poorly, and the BCCI is still keeping them in the squad. Because BCCI now wants Kohli to perform in the World Cup. But in the next two series, if Virat Kohli fails consistently and cannot perform well. Then I don't think BCCI will keep Virat Kohli in the World Cup squad. Aren't there any other good players in the team? why is the Kholi the only option. Kholi is now in many other campaigns like WLM and Clean Air. I think he is now more into the bollywood - than in his career. The BCCI is just concerned about Kholi not about the national image. No, he is not into Bollywood but his wife is into it. He is just not able to play no matter what he tries on the field. If I am correct Sachin Tendulkar went through the same phase in his career too. He at that time blamed it on captaincy pressure and after leaving the captaincy his performance improved a lot. Kohli also did the same thing but he was forced to leave his captaincy because he sucked both as a captain and as a batter at that time. Till today he is struggling as a batter and I think he will be chucked out of the team after the world cup. |

New Zealand VS Ireland
The third ODI between New Zealand and Ireland is going on now. Despite fielding first in the first two matches, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat in the match. New Zealand's collection is 126/2 in 19 overs. They are scoring over than 6 runs in per over. If this continues, they will be able to give more than 300 targets. Though this is a batting-friendly pitch. So New Zealand will not be able to win if the target is below 300. In previous matches we have seen the extraordinary batting of the Irish players.
Newzealand already scored 316 runs and lost only 5 wickets. They still have 4 overs more and it is possible they might cross the 350 marks. I am surprised we are discussing this match as we all know the result will be not so different. This is just a practice match for them and a real test for the Irish team. I doubt they will be able to chase such a huge score. |

Both the teams are in good position. Sri Lanka have the home ground advantage. Already in this same ground won the test match by an innings and 39 runs. Chandimal made his 200+ runs in the match. Anyhow this series will be very interesting that we can't easily get into a conclusion on the winning of the team. The betting odds were also close.
The battle will be basically between Pakistani batsmen (Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Azhar Ali, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Fawad Alam.etc) against the Sri Lankan spinners (Prabath Jayasuriya, Dhananjaya de Silva, Ramesh Mendis.etc). And then the spinners are going to get a lot of advantage from the track. For their credit, Pakistan has announced a very experienced squad, and the majority of the players have played >50 test matches. Compared to that, the Sri Lankan squad is relatively young and inexperienced. After watching the previous test match between Australia and Srilanka I think in this test series we will see the battle of bowlers than batters. Both team have got good bowlers especially the srilankan spin attack can create problems for the top Pakistani batters. I am also sure that the SCB will create pitch that will help spinners more. |

After winning the toss and choosing to bowl first was a bad decision for Rohit Sharma. Reece Topley took 6 wickets yesterday destroying the Indian batting order. I am still not sure why the Indian management still giving chances to Kohli. They could have rested him and given someone the chance to play. I hope they rest him in the next match.

In my opinion after the T20 world cup he might get dropped, if he continues to perform in the same manner. It has been three years now and I haven't seen him doing wonders with his bat. His attitude remains the same on the field but his batting is getting worst with every match he plays. There are far better players available at the moment who can replace Kohli.
Will BCCI give Virat Kohli a spot in the World Cup squad if he continues to perform poorly? India has a lot of talented players who are doing much better than Virat Kohli recently. I think Virat Kohli will probably be kept with the squad for the group stage matches, but after that BCCI will not give Kohli another chance unless his performance improves. No matter what but he will surely get a spot in the worldcup squad. BCCI will not leave him considering his performance in the past. In the past he had ruined every ICC tournament as a captain but considering his previous batting performance i am hopeful that he will get a spot. |

Sledging in the game is completely different thing because this is happening in many other games as well, but now his behavior is also not acceptable with he is going down in moral day by day which is creating big issue for him and rest of team's moral as well.
There is no doubt he is a quality player, but now it's almost three years and peoples feeling him like a burden on Team India with too many youngsters already in pipeline for waiting their chance in this team, and they can replace him in quick way with some better performance, but backers are not allowing for any change and still hanging him around which is surely a big mistake and can creating more feud around the team it's time for change with something better quality and performance. Selectors already made some big moves when they removed Kohli as the captain. But dropping him from the XI is like playing with fire. He remains as the most popular player in India and if the replacement fails to perform, then the selectors will be under firing line. But the sad part is that Kohli's downfall started when he began giving more importance to activism rather than sports. He antagonized a lot of people with his negative opinion on various subjects. Another year or two with such performance, and it will be difficult to justify his position in the team. Pakistan VS Srilanka
Two test matches will be played in Srilanka. The first one will be played on 16th July. The last test series was tie between Srilanka and Australia. I am hoping this one doesn't end in that way. Pakistan is ofcourse a better test team than Srilanka and they can play spin well than Australia. It would be interesting to watch what strategy will the Srilankan side apply gainst the Pakistani team.

West Indies v Bangladesh second ODI match.Congratulations to Bangladesh team for winning two ODI series in a row. After losing the Test and T20 series, they won two ODI series in a row. Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das won the match easily without any pressure. We can definitely say that Bangladesh team is perfect for ODI series

Rohit Sharma's performance as captain for India T20 team has been fantastic. After adding yesterday's match this was his 14 consecutive win as a captain. He know where to place the fielder and which bowler needs to be introduced when a partnership starts to build. Considering his intelligent captaincy I think this time the performance of Indian cricket team in the upcoming ICC T20 tournament would be far much better than what it was last time.
When team wins then everything looks easy peasy, just saying but yeah Rohit does bring some sort of luck in cricketing field as skipper as compare to our dear panuti. --------------- Ha! India is again going with another 4 more changes in the team, they also made 4 changes in 2nd game yesterday and doing the same tonight. Clearly checking out all the available options and not shying away. Clearly, the changes made in yesterday's match were not good. They should have continued with the bowlers they had in the earlier match. Yes, testing before the ICC trophy is required but in my opinion, they should have done that when playing with a weaker team. I still feel if the same team was playing in the third match India would have won. If they wanted to replace someone they should have replaced Kohli. |

The 2nd Test match between Sri Lanka and Australia is underway. Where Sri Lanka is ahead in their performance. Australia, on the other hand, do not have much advantage. Australia are 117 runs for 7 wicket (Day 4: 3rd Session) at the moment Australia hardly try to stay on the pitch. Maybe their game will be over in a few moments. Sri Lanka get the advantages by their bowling action. probably the match will go under Sri Lanka.
It's all over for Australia. Prabath Jayasuriya wickets in both innings was the reason Srilanka won by an innings and 39 runs. Most of us were expecting a draw but the match concluded today. Marnus Labuschagne was the highest scorer for Australia in second innings as he scored 32 runs. Anything can happen in cricket yesterday this match was heading towards a draw but in just a day the game went in favor of Srilanka. I did not see the whole match as I had a few presumptions earlier and did not have the time to watch the match. I will be waiting for the highlights to come out then only I would be able to understand what went wrong with Australia. |

The worst part about TDS applicability put in by the government is that even if you are an individual who is not involved in any kind of business and profession and is just doing cryptos for investment or even fun has to deduct TDS while buying/ selling the coin and deposit it with the government. In case of exchanges it was easier as the burden to comply with all the statutory norms was on the shoulders of the government but in the case of individuals, it will be on people which will obviously reduce their enthusiasm to do crypto trading. I feel this law can be crypto killer in India.
If you do the research you will find that the government of India are bringing these laws towards crypto so that they can discourage crypto trading/investments in India. First they bought the 30% taxation law and then they bought the 1% TDS and rumors are there that they are about to bring 28% additional tax as GST on crypto. So all of these are steps that the government of India is taking to eliminate crypto from India. Yes, after Bitcoin fell to its new low many traders have already halted their trading activities and after July there are others who have stopped due to the TDS. To an extent the government has be able to discourage trading an investment officially. I think they will also implement GST shortly to complete and that would destroy whatever trading and investment left in this country. One thing I am sure that many community members have now found out multiple ways to avoid tax and TDS. |

I was expecting a 3-0 whitewash, unfortunately it did not happen. Great batting by Surya Kumar and Malan. Again Kholi out for just 11 runs, his contribution as batter now days has been like this on any format of cricket. Now, his contribution as a fielder can also be questioned an easy catch was dropped by him. Still enjoyed the match thoroughly. The wicket was flat and any team batting first would have an upper edge. Spinners were in effective but I was expecting the Indian pacers to be strict.

Ireland vs New Zealand
The first ODI between New Zealand and Ireland will be played today. The two teams will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches in this series. And undoubtedly New Zealand will win all the matches. The Irish team is not strong. There are no experienced players in the team. But there are some talented batsmen in Ireland. So New Zealand's bowlers must play well. Only then will New Zealand be able to dominate and win all the matches.
Overall it is a good opportunity for the Irish team to gain experience by playing against a team like Newzealand. Newzealand most probably will win all the matches but they will certainly enjoy playing on those small fields. They are the second big team after India who are visiting Ireland. India played only two T20 series but Newzealand has scheduled more matches in this tour. |

I was happy if Kushal Mendis and Dimuth Karunaratne were able to score centuries. But they returned with 85 and 86 runs respectively. Now Sri Lanka's collection is 280/4. And Sri Lanka is behind by only 84 runs. Sri Lankan batsmen are batting very carefully. Probably they have a target to bat all day today. My guess is that if Sri Lanka bats all day today, there will be a draw in this match.
This match is heading towards a draw as it is already day 3 and srilanka still trails by 30 odd runs. They will try to utilize the whole day but will also try not to lose any wickets. They will also try to build a considerable lead but if Australian bowlers are able to take quick wickets then this match might not end in draw. |

We all agree that Virat Kohli should take a break. However, I think we also know that Virat Kohli is too stubborn to take a break and it is eventually going to hurt him in the long run.
While it is true that he is currently on the team, he is simply taking up a spot that could be filled by youngsters who can really contribute. Who knows? After a break, he will probably be able to perform a lot better than what he is doing right now! And I don't understand why he has not been removed from the team years ago. He can't stay on the team just because he did well in the past even when he doesn't perform at all.
I think his time is over now. In yesterday's T20 match against England, he only scored 1 run. This guy has lost his touch and apart from being a batter, he is useless to the team. If he is unable to contribute then he should allow someone else to take that position and contribute to the team score. |

Jasprit, Bhuvneshwar and Yuzvendra are the best bowlers that India can have in this time of Indian cricket. I also need to mention Hardik Pandya, if he is not contributing with bat he does that with the ball. Series win for India in a T20 match held outside of India. The team under the intelligent captaincy of Rohit Sharma has shown an exceptional performance. Sir Jadeja has suddenly become an all round batter than a bowler with his experience. England did not play bad in both the matches but they were not better than the Indian side.

Good fight back from Sri Lanka. At this point, it looks as if they may be able to take the lead. The Lankans are trailing by 180 runs and at this rate, it should be possible for them to take the first innings lead. Australian bowling was disappointing. Mitchell Swepson excelled once more, but received no support from others including Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins. Nathan Lyon was also expensive today. However, Dimuth Karunaratne got out before he could get to a hundred. That gives a good opportunity for Australia to put some pressure on the Lankans.
Again I would repeat the sae thing, this match is a waste of time. Australia would win this match comfortably. Srilankan batters are very weak, they think every format of cricket is a T20 match. I am also concerned about the security of Australian players as there are reports of massive unrest happening in Srilanka. I hope the government is able to provide ample amount of security to them. |
