no, they're not allowed. 1 and 4 have been removed.

Similar situation...

Thread 1: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1093208.0

Thread 2: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1093345.0

Allowed ?

the first one got locked as soon as someone shouted SCAM ALERT   Tongue so it's probably okay.

if it's not okay then give it some time and a mod will probably delete it. it was just made yesterday

updating your browser might work. similar thing happened to me before on other site and updating my browser seems to fix the issue. I actually need to log out and log in again, not just refresh.

I thought it would take months, maybe years to become a trusted member and right now, I don't have that much time. :/

then heed my advice, don't waste your time trying to get a loan here because no one will trust you anytime soon. not without a collateral.
go and borrow more money from your "close friend" (or "normal person, whatever) or somewhere else.
2746  Economy / Lending / Re: Borrowing 0.1 btc 10% interest [NO COLLATERAL] on: June 19, 2015, 05:19:46 AM
how much is this "loan" of yours, anyway? you've been asking for 0.15BTC, 0.5BTC, 0.3BTC, 0.05BTC, 1.5BTC, 0.005BTC, 0.01BTC, and 0.1BTC (in order. the first one is by PM)... and god knows how many more PMs you've sent.

At first it was 0.8 btc I paid 0.7 btc on wednesday(yesterday) then I have 0.1 btc left to pay

that means you have means to earn 0.7 without being a nuisance on this forum. trying to get 0.1 more won't hurt.
at least you'll have better luck trying to get that 0.1 outside of this forum, where everyone see you as a scammer.

2748  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: June 19, 2015, 04:06:55 AM
I actually miss Vod and his -ve feedbacks. there's a lot of newbie clowns (especially this guy) on the lending section that needs to be taught a lesson of no collateral no loan.   Lips sealed
2749  Economy / Lending / Re: lending upto 0.0088 btc on: June 19, 2015, 03:58:15 AM
the amount is less since I am making a fresh start in this platform. the amount would be increased gradually after a few days.
so , let me know.

I would like to loan 0.005 btc. :S
give me the details
your btc address
repayment time
interest
collateral if any

careful. this guy have requested 5+ loans since yesterday and all of them are ridiculous. check his trust page.
2750  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitcoin Facebook Group 2000+ Members on: June 19, 2015, 03:38:29 AM
How much? PM

just bid 0.01 now and you'll get it tommorow. I don't think anyone is interested on buying this. what kind of facebook group doesn't allow its members to post, anyway? first time I've ever heard of such thing
2751  Other / Meta / Re: Password reset log on: June 18, 2015, 11:03:03 PM
sorry for bumping an old topic, but I have just noticed something a little strange while I was wandering around.

KWH's trust page shows the "This user's password was reset recently." notice, but according to seclog, his password hasn't been changed since May 25th. and I compared him with some other members that had changed their password on that day, but I don't see anything like this.

which one is correct?

for additional info, I noticed that before this appeared on the seclog. "10:36:25 PM - DooMAD - password changed"

I took the plunge. I bought 1 btc today from a coworker who has been telling me about Bitcoin since 2012.
Just wanted to say Hi, HI, and introduce myself.
Is there anything here I need to know, what a stupid question.. I need to know everything.

Is there a good place to go for a all about bitcoin lesson?

welcome to the bitcoin community.  Smiley

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/FAQ have all that you need to know.. well, except the current Bitcoin Foundation politics :p

if you want to know more about this forum, every sub board have a sticky topic so you can learn by reading them.

Thanks Encrypted. I will browse that now. Does bitcoin have a toll free number or a website incase I ever have any issues with my 1 btc.

CT

I don't think we have any sort of customer support, but if you ever have technical issues with your bitcoin core/electrum/other wallet. make a topic here. make sure you've googled around first before asking.

and avoid from using online exchange as your wallet, their site might get compromised at any time and you might lose your BTC in the process.

2754  Other / Meta / Re: Politics on: June 18, 2015, 09:29:53 PM
So why didnt he just ask for a lower price? did he have to put in 3 lines into it, just makes me think he is trying too hard to make his posts look constructive

that's a question that only Quickseller can answer. it's his post. I personally think additional comments like that as encouraging further discussion, but that's just my opinion.
2755  Other / Meta / Re: Politics on: June 18, 2015, 09:15:09 PM
Think someone reported it as off topic. I left/ignored it as it was boderline but another mod must've felt it was appropriate to delete.
was quickseller's post needed? does the fact that it is on topic mean it is not spam?

that's not just a spam. he said that it is too expensive for him. people will interpret that as "lower the price a bit and I'll think about it"

you want to see spam? this guy just made 20 post in less than a hour, and he's not even wearing a sig.

when you see a post that you think is a spam. report them. there's no need to reply to that post without contributing to the topic. or if you did, edit that post and add something valuable

2757  Other / Meta / Re: Staff member dserrano5 promoting scam - should he remain with default trust? on: June 18, 2015, 08:02:59 PM
Its ok if he is a legendary member
Its kind of ok if he is a staff member. In my books its a no no.
Its NOT ok if he is on the default trust list.

I personally don't use the default trust list (~DefaultTrust) so I should not be affected.

it's not ok for any level of member to promote obvious ponzi. and I don't think excluding DefaultTrust does anything cuz I just tried it and I still see greens actually, it seemed to have worked... but excluding dserrano5 alone should do for now
2758  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: June 18, 2015, 07:57:37 PM
Why was your first thought to search for that word in this thread?

because he wants to make sure that no kind of whales have been mentioned previously on this thread?
2759  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.15 BTC for 7 days on: June 18, 2015, 07:50:35 PM
Loan amount: 0.15 BTC
Collateral: Can give this account, domain name, or game keys.
Term length: 7 days
BTC Address: 13DUfaL7NjVDHrPJTyLPiNgLuvYMqumeUV
Amount I can Repay: 0.17

Thansk

put your domain name in your post, please. that way people can see how much it's worth. and game keys and your newbie account isn't a valid collateral.
