2741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: September 30, 2023, 06:33:05 PM
Some months a go, I was thinking altcoins may favour me since bitcoin is still unpredictable. I decided to invest my last cash at hand on luno, Eth, buying babe doggy, peg token and tron. I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
First what do you mean by Bitcoin is unpredictable,  don't you know that altcoin is more unpredictable than Bitcoin and in fact bitcoin is the best choice of investment among all other cryptocurrencies and for me, altcoin is only for the gambling and nothing more,  anyway the coin you trying to promote may give you 10x returns who knows.

But also know that you can lose all your investment in that coin if it turns out to be a scum shitcoin in the market tomorrow so yeah risk.l risk anyways is either you lose or you gain.

2743  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 30, 2023, 12:27:38 PM

Casinos may ask gamblers for KYC verification for various suspicious activities. Now in this situation a gambler has nothing to do. Casinos create their T&C in such a way that they are in a position of maximum advantage in situations where gamblers cannot opt out because they are trapped in the T&C. But it is also true that there are many gamblers who use the casino to do illegal activities like money laundering, and then it would be considered a good step if a casino asks for KYC verification to catch users involved in those illegal activities.
Yes I agree with that also,  casinos demand kyc from gamblers for various reason and not limited to deposits and withdrawals alon that kyc is demanded,  in fact left for withdrawal or deposits,  the casino already have a standing law that guides and cover that aspect of the kyc,  since no casino will request for kyc on either deposits or withdrawal that is within the set trench holds.

$5000 is the most casino base amount on transactions before KYC is demanded and as long as it goes if the gambler operates within a set limit he will not have KYC demands.

So if you are in within the deposits and withdrawal trench hold and kyc is demanded it means there are suspicious activities from the account.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 29, 2023, 11:19:46 PM
We should not avoid gambling but rather avoid having thoughts that this activity would give you wealth or an instant way to get rich ‘coz there’s no such thing. As we all know, once you’re caught up with idealization of winning that jackpot no matter what, that is when you would be having problems to quit. Best thing is to have discipline however, it won’t be simply implied to oneself. Gambling has indeed its own risks but the one who gives weight to that risk is no other than ourselves. We are too fascinated of instances wherein some players are winning big time without considering how many have lost huge amount of money from gambling.
Why shod anyone actually take such a risky adventure as a means to earn a living,  gambling that is as risky as hell should be avoid by all means and for such anyone that should ever play them should do so based on the fact fhat gambling is just for fun and to ease pressure in form of entertainment and shouldn't be done at regular basis this is because a lot of those that have hard issues from gambling all incurred such issues the moment they begin to build a castle in the hills.

Chasing an unrealistic aspect is not true gambling but rather tha  gambling abuse on yourself.
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 29, 2023, 11:11:28 PM

For me horse racing is not very popular because of modern high technology nowadays and also some country which is only few people have horses so they can't participate or they can't make and event such horse racing. But actually there are still countries who has the activity of horse racing but not too much popular. Maybe  some people didn't know that there's a horses racing or else they don't want to see it.
The unavailability of horses also have limited the popularity of horse racing,  when I saw this game last was when I was young that my local communities use to organise festivities and games and one of the most played games then was horse race and most times some of the horse owners will even avoid participating in the game due to the impact of the game on they animals and what the level of damage will be for them if they horses sustain injury in the causes of the games?

This and many more have contributes to unpopular nature of horse racing both in offline and online casinos,  because before an online casino will consider developing any game on their site,  they first of all check to see how gamblers patronise them in a physical casino first.
2746  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much pressure on the male child on: September 29, 2023, 11:01:44 PM

Now the training in the home has shifted to both genders,  now you see a boy child doing so well in the kitchen while handling other tasks allocated to them by the parent, The same goes for the female child whose father gives her all the training needed to survive life pressure where she need to play the role of a man because we have some single mothers who are 100% responsible for the kids so the financial burden falls on the woman who is a girl child,  so society is changing and the world is beginning to view things in a different dimension.

Yeah quite alot have changed in societies and countries because the only thing that is permanent is change and because change is transient, the forces of change must act upon it and modernity as one of the agent has really changed the gender and even duties based on sex. These days women are bread winners and even feeding the men or supporting them to take care of the home front. We don't need to be stagnant and gnash our teach on the hardship from the government, we need to give equal opportunity to both the boy child and the girl child because roles have really been altered and a female can turn out to be a bread winner. In the past in Africa, you only see male that are professionals in career like engineering, medicine, law etc but today the female are even more in all those professional fields of life . So the only thing that is constant is change, we can change our lives to the angle we want it to be driven to if we believe and make an effort towards it.
Yes, so many people are beginning to have a different perspective on things and beginning to also start thinking out of the box,  this is most important if really we want to realise our individual part in prosperity and self-discovery,  because, in the past,  a lot of people believe is a line and pattern of thoughts,  believes and acts that have really not been fair on some set of the gender of species of human,  which some time degenerates into discrimination and pressure from the society.

But in the contemporary society,  people are beginning to know their rights and also giving their observations on matters that concern their well-being be it as a male child or a female child,  the parents also have a significant role also to play in the role allocation to the kids and at the same time teach them values instead of prejudice.
2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: September 29, 2023, 10:54:29 PM
[ author=alinknila link=topic=5468181.msg62904958#msg62904958 date=1695739729]
Let's settle this! Based on your experience which game is more likely to bring a big win - slots, table games or crypto games?
Which one is  crypto games because I have not hard of such games before,  but then,  you may want to add sport bets to the list because a lot of us here have won a significantly huge amount from sport

What was meant as crypto games means online gambling games that gamblers can stake with cryptocurrency,  this have become popular terms since after the covid-19 when the online gambling industry hard a surge in demands from many games lovers who were locked down during that period and left with the option to fine out alternatives at that point.

So crypto games in unconnected with NFT games even though they may both belong to the same category as I-gaming but NFT is more at an advance level.
2748  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Supreme court of Nigeria on fire - nothing we no go see for Naija on: September 29, 2023, 10:43:59 PM
Let me first say that ive not heard or known about this incident until now, for the past week, I've been so busy and didnt have the time to look or listen to the news..

This is really heartbreaking, most especially for those of us who still believe in this country and it's judicial system, this all goes to prove that politics in Nigeria is a do or die affair, and it's a game that only the strong willed and hearted individuals play, I really fear for my dear country even as I pray things don't get worser than it currently is.
God help Nigeria my country.
For me I have lost faith in our institutions in this country because is the lack of the frimness of this institutions that have allow for the widespread of corruption and all the ugly situations that we are experiencing in this country today,  and just as you have rightly said,  we have lost can't in the country system and the judiciary at large.

When I saw the news of the fire outbreak on the court some days back I already know that that will be some form of stage play and fowl play in the fire outbreak,  so this is Nigeria,  anything can happen.
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 29, 2023, 10:39:45 PM
Horse racing is so unpopular due to the fact that not many people have the idea of how to ride a horses because the fear of riding a horse could limit people demand for the game most especially when you have to play them I a physical casino where you must ride the horse in the real sense of it,  most of the time because of the dislike for this game in physical casino or game field.

It has made many gamblers to also avoid horse racing in online casinos and this has been one of the major recorded limitations that has been recorded over time.
2750  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What else should we call this on: September 29, 2023, 10:25:44 PM
Bitcoin bring about total financial freedom of the citizens,  but government is a seizure of that freedom and financial power,  so the government will always be against bitcoin since bitcoin tend to undermine their existence and level of power as much as we can see reflected in contemplating governance,  but already we have a few country who have realise the role bitcoin play in the society being an alternative currency,  most of the countries that still have anri Bitcoin laws and policies are all being mislead by their central banks chiefs who are also exploiting the commonwealth of the country.
2751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: September 29, 2023, 10:19:03 PM
If it is highest chance or probability of winning then I’d choose sportsgambling (none of the given choices) ‘coz first of all analysis works on this gambling game; you may check previous matches and the players or fighters to help you with who are you gonna bet your money with. But if it is which one brings the most profit? i’d say slots but as others have mentioned pure luck games won’t make it easy for any gambler to win especially if you are unlucky for that day, week or month. High risk, high reward as most of us say.In my experience, I could win straight games with sportsgambling but I rarely win with slots and dice games.
For the fact that one can easily analyze sports games through preview pf previous matches makes sport bet the most favorites in the gambling market and also for the love majority have for football and other sport games like table tennis and the rest,  this make them to give high priority to sport bets and football have been the most favoured among all.

So for that assurance of possible winning,  most gamblers settle for sorbet more instead of relying on luck-based games like wheel spin or slot including dice also.
2752  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 29, 2023, 10:11:16 PM
Yes before you choose a casino to play on,  you need to have a settlement of mind before you consider them,  for instance in making the choice either to do KYC or not and this should be the determinants point of choosing the site.

Casinos have no right to not ask for customer kyc documents since they have to comply with the government rules on anti-money laundering and the rest of the laws attached to the licensing,  those that do not want to comply with kyc demands have to look else where fhat doesn't demand kyc such as decentralized casinos.
Some casino adopted with KYC because government regulation, protecting from money laundering make them have to require with KYC or their operation will stop by government if mustn't for all casino user have verifying their document. For the future, not difference or worry when verifying casino account because our document have been publish early with exchange market account. Why must aware when some casino have regulation for verifying document ID if want withdraw amount in casino account?
Don't be blame when CEX exchange make regulation for all user have to verifying account there are not any complaint, its risk when active in casino site have allow what rule or term of service in casino site.
I can't seems to figure out what you are saying and the only thing that I can frame out of your comment is how gambling and exchange collect customers data to comply with government regulations,  but you failed to add your own contribution to the discussion and at that it has limit my limits of respond otherwise I could have have other things to comment on from your own opinion.

But one thing for sure is that, CEX casinos or exchanges will forever ask for KYC, which is their right and the customers have to settle with that first before any other thing.

From the title of this thread it looks so missguiding but what attracted me to the thread is because I thought you where seeking and asking for ways to earn $50 on the internet when I opened the thread I saw that you were redirecting us to join a link that may take us to and external apps which is not safe for anyone in the forum unless for the gullible and greedy ones.

Because,  whatever detail you want to share in what so ever group you shared it link,  can also be shared here for all to see instead of involving another external link or app.
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 29, 2023, 10:00:25 PM
You know gambling is actually interesting if you aim for a simple entertainment, but if your reason to gamble is beyond that, that's when gambling becomes bad for us. We all know that any one who risk gambling will certainly experience thousands of losses at first before they can make winning profits, that's how uncertain gambling is. So if you think you are not ready to lose, then always be responsible not to enter gambling.
Yes gambling os originally meant for entertainment but a lot of forks have hard a misunderstanding around it and have taken gambling to be a means to earn a living,  this has made matters worse over time and a lot of them already have cases of loss that they may possibly not be able to recover from in a long time to come,  but also a lot of other who at some point took gambling for the sole aim of entertainment but when they start winning big amount then charged the mind to take gambling as means to earn passive income all failed in the attempt.
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: September 29, 2023, 09:44:36 PM

Yes mate, Gambling on sports betting has much higher chance of winning than the lottery. If one bets on football and takes a double chance, that would be lower odds and a higher probability of winning. But there is no such possibility in the lottery. Although the amount of reward for winning the lottery is very high, many people do not show interest in the lottery because there is no certainty. If a certain amount of money is spent then have the probability to gain something. From that point of view, gambling is definitely better than lottery.
Sports bets are easier to analyze than other games in gambling and at. That football most especially has become the most popular sports bet among others since football is most loved by male fans and at that we have to give it the most accolades at some point,  we have seen a lot of huge winnings in sports in the last month hard the story of a guy who won 38 million of my local currency from stakes he made in some football games from the premier league.

Lottery sometimes have the higher rewards but their winning doesn't easily come by and sometimes you will need to choose tons of ticket numbers before you make a small win.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 29, 2023, 09:33:18 PM
Seriously, gambling has turned many people into something that they never expected. Many people were living fine when they never got themselves involved in gambling, but now is another life of stories, and I know too that gambling has changed some people's lives from bad to good because I have also witnessed a few of them win big amounts of money from gambling. So let's just know that anything that has disadvantages also has advantages.

There is a warning that I give to each person that ever ask me for help with gambling I always stare to them very clearly about the danger of gambling and how it can ruin the life of the victims and this is why most of the gamblers fail to keep in mind and have affected the total well being in some cases,  but much as that be,  we should also consider a lot of other factors that makes people depends on gambling as a means of earning a living even though that is a bad choice.

Gambling for fun and gambling with only the money you can lose is the best way to go on gambling and at that anyone that do otherwise could have a bad resultant effects on several things because when you take gambling as a way to earn a living,  that mentality will push you to gamble more and in that process become addicted at some point.
2757  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 29, 2023, 07:10:02 PM
This is a clear example of the problem of centralization. Earlier, the guys correctly noted that the casino and the company that created it are licensed and officially registered in any country. If the user violates the law, the casino may also be held liable before the law. Until there are truly decentralized casinos (similar to DEX), we will be faced with the requirement of KYC/AML.
Because of this KYC verification, many gamblers have to think a lot while selecting a gambling website. There are many gamblers who try to do various illegal activities using gambling websites, due to which other gamblers also have to do KYC verification due to this problem. It is a brutal fact that when a gambler wins huge on a gambling website, that gambling website will try their best to find any excuse to block the withdrawal of that gambler. So a gambler then has nothing to do but wait for the decision of that gambling website, because KYC verification is then forced on those gamblers.

2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: September 29, 2023, 07:00:19 PM
The reason why I prefer centralized casinos is for the fact that they have to regulate the activities of the casino and trying to limit underage gambling which have become one of the prevailing issues and cause of gambling addictions in contemporary society.

So aside from the licensing that they get,  they always set the limits to their gambling and the underaged that is why their placed a 🔞  age limit on gambling.
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: September 29, 2023, 06:41:08 PM
The problem is not gambling the problem is you as a gambler because you guys already have a wrong conceptual belief that gambling is going to change your financial life by winning an amount that will settle all they financial problems and setting them up for a world of financial freedom.

So this is the wrong mentality that is affecting both you and those your neighbours because from the look of things you also may likely slide back to your addictions if you don't avoid going to the betting store or just build a mentality of just taking gambling for fun.
2760  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much pressure on the male child on: September 29, 2023, 06:07:10 PM
Hey mate brace up develop a thick skin about life pressure and move on,  regardless of your gender be it male or female the fact is that,  as a human, your chances of escaping life pressure are limited regardless of your gender,  there is no doubt that in some society the male child I made the breadwinner meaning he has to earn a living for both himself and the family respectfully and the inability to meet that demand makes you irresponsible.

That is not how it ought to have been but the older generations have set this limitation,  but now is left for us the new generation to change the societal norms that give and train the male child to bear all the loads of the family by providing the basic needs of every other member of the family.
