2741  Economy / Economics / Re: LMAO: India resells Russian oil to the European Union. on: June 05, 2022, 01:00:15 PM
The sanctions will never work, because people are too dependent on Oil and Gas..... and if they cannot buy it from Russia, then they will explore other markets. Russia can destroy the global Oil cartel by selling it's Oil and Gas at a cheaper price to countries that are not part of these sanctions.  Roll Eyes

We saw what happened to Iraq and Iran when the Western world sanctioned them after the 911 fiasco.  Roll Eyes (They just sold Oil to "friendly" countries and those companies re-sold that processed Oil to the rest of the world)  Roll Eyes
2742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 05, 2022, 08:42:08 AM
I am one of the weird people that will be excited when there are a Bear market, because it is an opportunity to buy more bitcoins... and by the time when the Bull market hit, I start feeling sad... because there are a high probability that I have to sell some of those coins.

The hunt for the "low" prices are more interesting ... than receiving the reward for the Bull market prices. Yes, it is nice to make huge profits, but you always feel sad when you have to let go of those coins you hoarded for such a long time.  Roll Eyes
2743  Economy / Economics / Re: Food crisis coming? What's wrong about it? It could be good on: June 04, 2022, 06:09:08 PM
I really do not appreciate OP's stance on the food crisis, because I work in a third world country on contract and I have experienced first hand what poverty and hunger are doing to developing children and old people.

I wonder if OP have skipped 3 meals in his live ... or if he goes through the day on one meal that consists mostly of rice or wheat.  Roll Eyes Let's face it... the food crisis will eventually become a problem for the rich 1st world countries ..... in the form of humanitarian support... and this will be funded by taxes or donations. (So, prepare yourself for higher taxes to give social support to the people that are not as fortunate as you)  Roll Eyes
2744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thrives on education and self-sovereignty on: June 04, 2022, 04:41:48 PM
I can tell you from my experience in Africa (I work on contract there) ...that education is VERY important for Bitcoin (BTC) to thrive. A lot of the people in Africa and other 3rd world countries does not get good education...and their government has dumbed down the education system on purpose. (A corrupt government can only thrive in a situation where citizens fear them and where they do not question their rules and decisions)

Bitcoin can look very complicated to a lot of people, but not all people want to know the intricacies of this technology. (How many people actually know how the Banking system work?.... but they still use money.)  Wink   If we can explain the basics to these people and how different it is to the corrupt Banking & government backed Fiat system.... they will see the light.  Wink
2745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought anything with btc? on: June 04, 2022, 07:13:07 AM
I buy food at local food vendors every day with Bitcoin (BTC) ...because I made a decision to use a 80/20 strategy to support Bitcoin as a currency. So for those that does not know what a 80/20 strategy is... here is a short explanation ==> When you buy any bitcoins... split it into 2 wallets... one for spending (20%) and one for hoarding (80%)  Wink

If all of us do that .... retailers / merchants / shops will continue accepting Bitcoin (BTC) as a payment option (Currency) and that will give Bitcoin some utility. (I just use my food budget for this.. but I change it to BTC)  Wink
2746  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 03, 2022, 11:20:03 AM
There are not really a lot that you can do..... the food prices has already increased substantially and I think there are not a lot of people in the position to buy bulk at these inflated prices. Even if you buy in bulk, most food items have an expiry date... so you will have to use those food items within a few months..or it will spoil.  Roll Eyes

I buy certain food items that last longer in bulk, like Rice & Flour & Tea & Powered Milk & Oats & Red Wine ...etc. Most of these products will last a year or longer.... so I am hoping that everything will return to normal....way before they reach their expiry date.  Tongue
2747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what countries have the best / most privacy fiendly bitcoin laws? on: June 03, 2022, 05:39:52 AM
The thing is, every time some centralized service touch Fiat currencies, it has to adhere to KYC/AML regulations. You can trade person to person on this forum via trusted Escrow services or you can find Bitcoin buyers & sellers locally, if you attend your local Bitcoin meetups. (Build a relationship with the people and start doing small trades)

The governments have been closing the loopholes on most P2P platforms ...and even Localbitcoins.com https://localbitcoins.com/guides/verification-guide have account verification now.  Roll Eyes

2748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4.45 million bitcoin untouched for 5yrs,do BTC community can retrieve in future? on: June 03, 2022, 05:29:00 AM
Let's turn the table for a moment....

Imagine that some of those coins was yours... will you like it if someone "touch" your coins, just because you hoarded those coins for 5 years? Do you think Bitcoin will be embraced and trusted by the public, if uncirculated coins are moved, without the owners permission?

The Banks will "lock" inactive accounts, if you do not use them, because they want you to use that money... so that they can charge you fees. In Bitcoin ..YOU are your own Bank and you have FULL control over your own coins.  Wink

Any word on the new weekly bonus calculation?

My weekly was smaller than the week before even though I wagered more, only made sports bets (which is supposed to pay more now) and had overall loss.

Anybody with the same experience? I'm a little bit confused since it was supposed to pay more for sports betting players like me now.

Yes, my "Weekly" was also much less than the week before and I did not make any Sport bets in that week..when it was more. I specifically concentrated on making more Sports and Slots bets to see if my "Weekly" would be better.... and it was worst.  Roll Eyes

I am testing it again for this "Weekly" to see if it will pay more, if I change my game play significantly. I also lost a lot more than previous weeks, so in theory I should get a lot more for the "Weekly"

They said the new calculation is based on how much you lost in that previous week and how much you made Slot/Sport bets.  Roll Eyes
2751  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Predict the BTC price 🚀 Get a share of 250 mBTC 🚀 on: June 02, 2022, 06:45:43 AM
I think Cassper Nyovest will be a good Global Brand ambassador for Bitcasino, because he gives hope for a lot of African people. He also recently said, ‘I don’t feel my money is safe anymore’, after his bank card was cloned. This makes him a good advocate for switching to Crypto currencies as an alternative currency.  Wink

I think this move is a bold statement that sends a strong message to the Banking system ....to start taking Crypto currencies serious. They ignore the small guys, but when the Big hitters start moving away.. they sit up and take notice.  Grin

Well Done in acquiring such a Big Fish!
2752  Economy / Economics / Re: World has just ten weeks' worth of wheat left after Ukraine war on: June 02, 2022, 06:23:31 AM
Luckily for us.... The United States   exports 26,131,626 tonnes of wheat a year and Canada does 26,110,509 tones, with France doing about 19,792,597 tonnes..... should I continue with all the other countries that export Wheat?

This is a "Storm in a Cup" that are being fabricated to inflate the price of "Wheat" ....so that prices can go up. Like they are doing with the price of Fuel.  Roll Eyes
2753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Computer Scientists say Crypto Industry is Misleading??? on: June 02, 2022, 05:50:25 AM
The whole "Big Pharma" industry are full of experts and see what they did with the Covid fiasco.  Roll Eyes  The government was misguided by experts in the medical industry and millions of people died as a result. The severe consequences of the vaccine was ignored and the long-term affect of the vaccine will kill a lot more people. (amyloid clots)

Let's see the names of the so-called "expert" computer scientists and then dig a little deeper to see who they worked for and who are they working for now. (Even experts can be bought to push a specific agenda)  Wink

Their goal is to “counter-lobby” current Blockchain lobbying groups....... SO, we know what their agenda is. (Question is.. who is paying for this)
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 01, 2022, 12:54:46 PM
My question is..... What excuse is Ryan Garcia going to come up to withdraw from this fight? We know he used "mental issues" and a "wrist injury" as an excuse... so there are not a lot else he can use for this fight.

I hope, if he decides to fight.. that he will be well prepared, because Javier Fortuna has got an explosive left paw and he swing like crazy, so if one or two of those swings goes home, Garcia is going to be in trouble.   Wink

I am looking forward to this fight.... and my bet will go towards Javier Fortuna.  Grin
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFT slot Machine !! on: June 01, 2022, 12:26:43 PM
Yea, I also saw Bitcasino.io promoting "gifts" for new signups in the form of NFT's for I think 50 people. I do not think it is a good idea, because anyone can use the worthless NFT's to attract people to gambling.

I will much rather work out a discount deal for people who wants to buy into the whole NFT thing, than forcing them to own some kind of NFT that has almost no value.

Let the person decide what he wants to buy with the voucher for a specific amount of the credit that was given to him or her.  Roll Eyes
2756  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 01, 2022, 05:57:50 AM
Yea, I also learnt that the hard way.

In the beginning I was very eager to "teach" other people on how to make money with Crypto currencies. I helped a friend of mine to buy bitcoins, but he did not tell me that he used "debt" to fund this. So, the Bitcoin price dropped with more than 70% and it took almost 3 years to recover.

He had to pay off the interest on the debt and he had to sell early... because he could not afford to pay the interest anymore. A few days after he sold his coins, the price started a quick recovery and he lost the opportunity to make 650% profit on those coins.

So rule number 2 ==> Never use Debt to fund your Crypto investments!!!
2757  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: June 01, 2022, 05:39:08 AM
No, guys..... the days are long gone for people to hit the Max multiplier on Plinko with only 10k or 20k bets. I have a much different approach to it, because I will play something else....and when I hit a big multiplier ..I will push some of those winnings into Plinko. So it is a lot like eating an Elephant..... you eat it small portions at a time... not all in one go.  Grin

Also, if you start on say $0.10 .....  you obviously have to gradually increase your bet size... to be profitable or to break even when you hit the Max multiplier. (Lately.... this is not the case anymore, because the bets necessary is much too high to be profitable)  Angry
2758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should I be concerned about the history of bitcoins when buying them ? on: June 01, 2022, 05:29:54 AM
Well, it will be good if you can have some "digital" paper trail for the transaction you made to buy the coins. So if someone ask you about those coins, you can show where you bought it. Most coins have at one stage been touched by criminals, so it is not weird for you to ask this question.

I push my coins through a Mixer services to "clean" them, but if you are going to do that, just make sure that your local Exchange does not have something in their ToS that does not allow that.  Wink
2759  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 31, 2022, 01:24:25 PM
Guys, let's talk Plinko.

Now I know the experience is different for everyone and there are no fixed formula to hit the MAX multiplier, but people what is your experience with it?

1. How many bets on the Seed does it take for you to hit the MAX multiplier? (It was said.... 40k or 60k ...but lately people are saying 100k or 200k bets) - I am currently on 489k bets ....still no MAX win.  Angry

2. Do you increase the bet amount per ball as you push towards the goal? (You obviously cannot stay on say $0.20 for all the bets.)
3. Do you switch Coins? (What happens if you switch coins)

Please share your experience, because my Plinko is a bottomless Money Pit!
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 31, 2022, 11:15:36 AM
I think "greed" kick in when you manage to grind a good balance, so the moment when you have a bigger balance... you want to bet more per bet and that is how the house edge catch up to you.  Roll Eyes

It has happened to me before too... I use the in-house games with the 1% and 2% house edge and I build up a decent balance and then I become greedy and I spend that balance on something with a much worst house edge with bigger bets and within minutes it is all gone.  Roll Eyes

This is why "The House" always wins, because we are greedy.  Wink
