2741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short-term profit altcoin! on: December 20, 2017, 12:32:56 AM

Small bursts of profits are usually found from smaller coins like Ripple, Stellar, Cardano and IOTA.
They have proven to be very profitable over the last 2-3 weeks.
None of those are really small anymore. Tongue
2742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: December 20, 2017, 12:32:29 AM
Personally, I didn't have any issues buying NVST multiple times from counterparty, It took a little time for the transaction to be completed each time, but It also worked perfectly each time.

It's just very cumbersome, as you first have to buy BTC, then XCP and then NVST.
cumbersome, really ? it only takes a few clicks  Grin
To be fair, crypto is usually pretty much instant. Meanwhile having to three exchanges almost reminds one of traditional bank transfers. Cheesy

It's cumbersome, but if you want to take the cumbersome route you'll end up making out a lot better in the end. Now would be the time to buy, before it's easier for people to invest. Once that floodgate opens there will be many people that where on the sidelines waiting, that will want to buy up what's available. I'm in for the long term, just like a lot of investors.

Obviously, lazy people are always behind...  Roll Eyes
if you are not able to transfer XCP from Bittrex check out TUX exchange, I use it whenever CEX won't let me move it.

Can't you just trade BTC for XCP on the Counterparty exchange? Bittrex limits are way too low.
2743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: December 20, 2017, 12:29:20 AM
$1 is a sure shot in next few days.

Every coin including some shit coins which does not have any technology behind it have taken off, but not SONM, just because the product was not launched.

On December 25th launch, they are giving a free access to their fog super computer for the early birds. We can even do the mining in their testbed. It is like a trial, once people started using it, they will start buying the tokens and it will definitely reach around $3 within a month or so.

The $1 and $3 estimates are targets for next year. $1 right now would be quite big. I wouldn't complain too much if it happened (a little bit since it'd mean buying up fewer coins Tongue), but it's pretty unlikely. Maybe around Christmas if the testnet comes in with a landslide.
2744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: December 20, 2017, 12:24:40 AM
I began to search bitcoin in early of august. I have been following its fluctuations since then. Maybe because I am still a newbie in this cripto world, still amazed by its situation now.
We're just getting started too. Hope you've got a seatbelt.
2745  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 20, 2017, 12:23:57 AM

Every time Coinbase has a chance to retain or regain my respect, they lose even more.

Pretty soon they'll just be a Cryptsy 2.0 shitcoin peddler. Brian Armstrong obviously could give two shits about the Bitcoin movement as a whole.
Makes me glad I don't use them.
2746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: December 20, 2017, 12:20:40 AM
You're disillusion if you think DOGE will reach $1 within 3 years. The giant supply should be enough to tell you that. From today's price it would be roughly a 200x to reach $1.
Once BTC goes to 500k or even 1000k it wouldn't be that far fetched to see Doge at $1. And BTC at >500k within 3 years doesn't seem impossible either. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

Can bitcoin really reach 500k? With the trend now, as bitcoin had been doing price correction I don't expect to reach 500k in 3 years.
Yes, it actually can. That price would just start putting it close to the market cap of gold. And gold can be mined and created indefinitely, which Bitcoin can not. Nevermind its utility factor as a currency, or the fact that it's the gateway to the new paradigm of venture capital.
2747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 20, 2017, 12:18:10 AM
Through bitcoin futures, investors in the traditional finance sector have started to enter the cryptocurrency market. Primarily because of the massive success of some decentralized applications such as CryptoKitties and EtherDelta, and the fact that Ethereum is the only cryptocurrency in the global market that can compete with bitcoin in terms of developer activity, usability, fungibility, liquidity, and scalability, Ethereum has garnered the attention of investors in both the cryptocurrency sector and traditional finance industry https://www.ccn.com/ethereum-price-achieves-new-all-time-high-at-850-explosive-growth/
Waves is much more efficient than Ethereum right now. Ethereum broke down with 7 tx per second from crypto kitties. Waves can handle over 100 per second and can easily scale up to around 1000 tx per second. It's just missing smart contracts right now to completely overtake Ethereum from a technical point of view (due Q1 2018).
2748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: December 20, 2017, 12:16:50 AM
like theese topics is harmful ı thought why you asking theese ?
How is there anything harmful about this topic? There's nothing wrong with discussing anything.
2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves hold for longterm Good or Not? on: December 20, 2017, 12:15:00 AM
I totally agree that 1-2 years is not enough to see how high this will grow. This needs some time for development in all aspects of it.
All the core features will be ready next year, so we'll see a climb similar to that of Ethereum in 2018 and a price of $100 to $400. Beyond that nobody knows since no roadmap has been revealed for 2019.
2750  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 20, 2017, 12:05:35 AM
To be fair, people quote a lot of weird stuff as 'fact'. I'm not even fully convinced that unmutable facts exist whatsoever in this world.

Not only that, but 98% of society takes so called 'facts' given to them from the MSM as gospel. It blows me away when people just blindly believe what they are given at face value.
It's usually impossible to even begin a conversation with such people too... even if you make it abundantly clear that we're just talking hypotheticals as an academic exercise.
2751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔥Tokugawa Coin 🔥 Japanese Masternode 🔥1000% ROI🔥Buy in ICO on: December 20, 2017, 12:03:10 AM
Too much ROI lolol
It's gonna be dump
The ROI is in TOK, not USD. So it's just a way to lure fools who don't understand what they are buying. Just another ponzi/scam. Wink

ROI is always made in the token/coin you are investing into, you are talking stupid. Because of inflation/deflation of crypto/currencies the only solid point ROI can be made around is the initial investment made in that said token/coin.
Nobody in their right mind gives a shit about a ROI pecked to a scammy shitcoin.
2752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 20, 2017, 12:02:07 AM
Off Topic, but should be of importance to everyone, really.

Anyone using proton mail?  I've left gmail as my general email provider (kitten pics, boring shit, and log ins for unimportant shit) for too long, and I'm not convinced my 'more secure (obscure?)' providers are any better.  The last straw - I just reset my passwords via webmail, and ALL of my android devices automatically updated and logged in with the new passwords.  This is beyond sketchy.  It screams GET OUT NOW, or years ago, if you have a way back machine.  I try not to use it for anything important anyway, but WTAF.  So its time to evacuate and consolidate.  Anything better than proton out there?  If it's not free, it has to accept crypto.  And of course, be anonymous.
Would like to know this as well. Been getting more and more paranoid with the ridiculous growth rates in the past 1-2 years.
2753  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes Bitcoin to move this fast? on: December 19, 2017, 11:57:42 PM
More people are now investing into bitcoin that is the reason why the price went up that fast in the past days. Maybe right now we are just experiencing some correction that is why the price is hovering in the $13,000 level but I still expect for the price to go beyond $18,000 before the year ends.
Yes, It is just another correction, nothing else. Bitcoin is just getting ready for its next target which is not 18,000 dollars rather 20,000 dollars. I am pretty sure that this coin is going to reach this value by the end of December easily. I think there is no issues in waiting for bitcoin to recover its previous value. This is nothing new for the bitcoin investors to have some light dump before a drastic pump.
We are really just about starting the journey to the moon. I believe this is not fast yet. We have at least seen that bitcoin keeps increasing more in rate and lesser period than we used to experience it before. Demand is increasing daily and we have not even seen anything with respect to demand yet. I believe as we keep going now, we will tend to keep testing new ATHs faster than before.
The magic of exponential feedback loops. Smiley
2754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 19, 2017, 11:57:01 PM
1LTC=1BTC
1ETH=2BTC

2020
ETH won't be 2 BTC, let alone in 2020.
2755  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how to break teenage video game addiction on: December 19, 2017, 11:56:17 PM
Games such as dota, dota2, csgo and much more caused the teenager addiction nowdays. How to prevent this things happen to our teenagers.
Parents or elders have their responsibilities in building a child growth.we should help them educate thereself nor in addiction to this online video games we should let them know that this are not good for their physicall and mental health it will never give them good things
..

To prevent yourself from wasting your time playing games, you need to look for something you love doing, something you can commit to. Bty doing that, you can be more productive and it will boost your morale and self confidence. You can try also learning new things.

You're heavily underestimating the amount of things that can be learned in a playful way through a videogame. I picked up most of Math, Stats, Economics, Business and Accounting through playing various games. Didn't really see anything surprising in school or even university after that.
2756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: December 19, 2017, 11:54:31 PM
on you did not spread the rule that you can not make any public statements about the issuance of the card before your project is approved by the payment system visa?

Have you heard of this?
if you take this into account and if this is true, Monaco will never be able to issue his cards
MonaCo already is a confirmed Visa program manager. If you want to FUD the only reasonable angle is the AC, which as far as I'm aware still hasn't been replaced.

We are glad you asked about AC. Yes, we are working on it.
We've had a meeting with our counsel to cover this topic and we are making progress. Please do not expect news on this right away, as whatever ideas we may have, and no matter how certain we think they are good, they still have to go and pass the opinion of lawyers in at least 5-6 key jurisdictions. It takes time, but it's worth to get it done the right way.
I understand that it takes time. And the fact that MCO is holding its position (e.g. that it sees the AC as a non-vital component of the token price) while working on it regardless is very reassuring. Initially it sounded like an attempt at drowning out interest in the AC. But even if that was the case, the fact that it's being worked on without randomly jumping to a different stance is something that I can live with. Opinions differ after all, so considering what is happening I'll leave the benefit of the doubt for this one and keep looking forward to the cards and more news regarding the token itself.
2757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: December 19, 2017, 11:50:47 PM
not just greddy, but is know nothing!
Why would you be on this forum if that's your stance?
2758  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: December 19, 2017, 11:50:29 PM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.

Government will try to control the amount of bitcoins that can be stored per person, probably they might impose taxes on bitcoins
Except that they can't do that. They can only control some of the fiat gateways, and only to some extent. Taxes on Bitcoin already exist, but they can not be enforced for the first time in human history.
2759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves hold for longterm Good or Not? on: December 19, 2017, 11:48:32 PM
This is one of the good coins that has a good team and active development. The recent pump is unreal going up 3x in just a week! They are making lots of business partnership so it really can be a competitor to ethereum one day. Definitely a long term hold, imagine what the price will be this time next year Shocked
And NG hasn't even gone live yet! Smart contracts are still to come out in Q1 as well, with ERC20 trading not starting until next year either. And in Q4 we'll see Turing-complete smart contracts. 2018 is going to be massive for Waves.
2760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: December 19, 2017, 11:47:00 PM
Next year is going to be huge for serious projects and there will be most of the markets at me all times high. Waves will be at over $50 by the end of next year. If we see investment plan to get this much profit still these markets are far more profitable to get all this is one or two years.
Pretty sure Waves will be well over $100 by the end of next year. It'll be better than Ethereum in every aspect at the end of Q4 2018.
