Waves hold for longterm Good or Not?

Does anyone here think price is very high now to get it?  The thing is how many people here got waves when it was 1 dollar and under?  What about when it was 25 cents?  Was it easy to get waves then on bittrex?  At what price was waves available on bittrex?  What about shapeshift?

I've purchased Waves from $5.50 when I was new in crypto to $4.50 and watched it dip as low as $2.80 and I didn't have any more funds to put towards it to average out my price. Waves has been my 100% long term hold and I won't even think of selling until it approaches $100, so no, $11 is not too late, I'd be surprised if it doesn't hit $20 by the end of the month.

Good choice, good hodl. $100 will be considered cheap one year from now.

They are making lots of business partnership so it really can be a competitor to ethereum one day. Definitely a long term hold, imagine what the price will be this time next year

And NG hasn't even gone live yet! Smart contracts are still to come out in Q1 as well, with ERC20 trading not starting until next year either. And in Q4 we'll see Turing-complete smart contracts. 2018 is going to be massive for Waves.

Such a pump just on the news, what should we expect on releases. Very good coin for mid-long term. I'm holding it and it's on my top in "to buy" list when altcoins market will become red which seems to be happening right now.

Yes, buy waves with your 2 BTC. Even though this post was in August, even I know that WAVES is a great platform other people can use to create a crypto on. I think I read somewhere that Russia was going to use Waves as their form of cryptocurrency. Great insight and I hold you will hold until the end of 2018, you will not be disappointed.

I don't think Ripple is better Waves although Ripple is in top 5 coins which have the largest market cap but Ripple is too profitable for investor
For Waves, there is the same technology of Ethereum and i guess the price of waves will soon reach $100 in next year so investing in waves will better.

I totally agree that 1-2 years is not enough to see how high this will grow. This needs some time for development in all aspects of it.

All the core features will be ready next year, so we'll see a climb similar to that of Ethereum in 2018 and a price of $100 to $400. Beyond that nobody knows since no roadmap has been revealed for 2019.

This should be (but unfortunately isn't) common sense. Never go all in on anything.

2 bitcoin is all your investment portfolio? the best is to split it instead of investing all in one thing.

Generally a good advise. With Waves a 10 to 50% position wouldn't be bad though, it's pretty much guaranteed to go up significantly in 2018.

I agree, if you hold that kind of coin for a long term, you gain more profit from it. Actually even any kind of altcoin if you hold for a long term, you can get a profit, but it's depends on your goals and that's my opinion.

It is never a good idea to invest all your money in a single coin if you do that you will be tied to the fate of that coin and if that coin fails you are going to lose all your money and at the current rates of bitcoin that is a significant amount of money.

Personaly I had waves as long term investments can in a long run, but I am also positive that it will really stand up for next year. Maybe waves investments isn't a failure, but rather a success for the coming months specially for the next years journey, so better stay tuned and always keep an eye.

Good idea to hold Waves for a long term investment. Something like 4-5 years or tops 7, then you'll greatly reap what you sow. Get it while its still affordable and young.

Waves can climb 10 to 100 fold just in 2018 alone based on fundamentals.

I dont think is it a good a idea to hold waves on long term, better keep your btc and wait for the bump again.

Both ideas are good. Keep waves long term for good steady returns or get high blood pressure watching your money in BTC bounce all over the place but ultimately end up with a good ROI.

What do people think this coin could really go up to?  Possible $100?  What about $500?


The thing is right now its pretty expensive already if you want to buy it. 


Also to those of you that got it at 25 cents, was it available on bittrex at those prices?  Or not?
