2741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 06, 2022, 05:12:44 PM
Bitcoin has made good progress in last two days, we all know that altcoins will follow the same path and some Altcoins like Binance have already started to surge so I feel this would be the right moment to invest into Altcoins like ADA, Solana and ICP which are ready to explode any moments, what's your take on this? Things will be in our favour of we choose the altcoin's wisely and better to invest now rather doing r when it reaches the peak.

But my only worry is what if it's one more bulltrap.

Too early to say it's a real bull run, because it's just a one pump which lead the bitcoin price went to more than 10%. We will see the price trends till the end of the month to make sure this is the right time to invest on altcoins or not because when it is turn out to bull trap, holding alt will get more bleed because the price drop will be more than holding btc
We aren't really sure if this small progress from bitcoin will create a bull run or a bull trap in the end, so investing right now could create bigger risk in the future. But if you have invested in those well established altcoins, even if their prices end up in dips, i think that will not be a serious problem. Those coins with great potentials will always regain their value if bitcoin creates another price surge. But still, always invest on the amount you can afford to lose.
2742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities Embracing bitcoin because of Divorce? on: February 06, 2022, 04:32:27 PM

I thought it's the other way around, they accept BTC because they are seeing possibilities that in the future keeping BTC in their wallet will keep their coins with them and not going to be cut in half to be given to their ex-wife.

If you have BTC while you are still single and you got married after a year yet you still have your BTC in a wallet. Will these coins in the wallet be considered owned by the couple?

It is difficult to explain this and of course it all depends on the marriage laws that apply in a country or on a particular religion, but broadly speaking, bitcoins that are owned when we are single are absolutely our own and of course we have full rights to the assets. However, if we get married and buy bitcoins during the marriage, of course the bitcoins will become a shared right between us and our partners, but I think after the wedding of course we will also share them with our partners even though we have bitcoins when we are single, maybe in this case only we and our children will have full rights to what we have whether we are single or married later.
Assets or properties that you have acquired before the marriage will give you the full rights to own it. However, if you keep on acquiring the assets when you are already married, your partner will get a fair share on it once the marriage ended. You may read it here for further understanding about splitting your assets once divorce is filed.https://www.columbusfamilylawyer.com/blog/2021/february/am-i-entitled-to-half-of-everything-in-a-divorce/
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 06, 2022, 09:28:19 AM

Quote
And I wouldn't be surprise if Ancajas will be the slight favorite. And this could be the another must watch fight for Philippines.
I expect that he will be the favorite, and I also expect that he will win.

Tomorrow we will be in the new month or February 2022, so this means the fight is fast approaching and yet we still have no idea about the betting odds of this fight. Well, I don't know if the information from this site is accurate, but this tells the odds of the favorite sportsbook which I'm sure are going to list this game.

https://www.bettingexpert.com/boxing/fernando-martinez-vs-jerwin-ancajas

I guess we should monitor the top 3 bookies, for sure they'll be the first to list the betting odds. Those are fiat bookies, right? honestly, I don't have an account but I'm hoping we can access the betting odds without opening an account, but a summary of the odds would be enough for us to have an idea of what to wait from out favorite crypto bookies.
^ Yes they are all fiat-based bookies but you can able to use your BTC but not directly deposit to the site.
In Bet365 you can use your BTC to bet by opening a Neteller account, this is a very convenient way to fund Bet365 if really you wanted to use it to place a bet on this match which looks like a very exciting match. I hope there is on the Sportsbet.io soon so that we can able place a bet on those who do have not an account listed above.

I'm not comfortable with that, I want to directly deposit and withdraw my bitcoin to and from the platform without no other 3rd party app, that way it's easier and I can really feel the essence why I'm using crypto in gambling, and that is to maintain my privacy.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 06, 2022, 09:11:54 AM
True, as champion he gets the lion share but it was not that big because of the weight class.

Nevertheless it's time for Casimero to show case his skills again, he is on a momentum run and majority of us doubt that Butler can upset him even if the fight is going to be held in his home town.

So this is just a stepping stone kinda fight for Casimero, the bigger fish is still Inoue and then Donaire.

Actually if we will going to look at the side of the paycheck we can say that it's quite a low cut for Casimero but for me as a fan I would say that he must not just focus on it because if he could win this fight this may help him boost it's career and probably give him a way to have a possibility to fight with Inoue which I bet this man Casimero is really looking up to. This is definitely a stepping stone for him to catch the attention of the team of the big fish fighters like Inoue.
Bigger things are waiting for Casimero if he wins on this fight so better to focus on that than to price reward on his match with Butler. This may not be an easy fight for Casimero and a lot of pressure to him since he puts too much trash talk before I still believe on this guy, I know he can bring more price to Filipinos and finally have a good revenge against Inoue, that's what I'm looking forward with Casimero.  Smiley

If it were up to me, Casimero does have an 80% chance that he could win this fight. And may even upset Inoue if given the chance but I think Casimero will be honored to fight Inoue already even if he loses. It doesn't really look as if Inoue can knock Casimero if you take a look at them physically but we have seen Inoue made fighters kneel by just one liver blow.

The fight is still a month later but this thread have been up last year.  Cheesy

It's because the fight has been postponed or shall I shall move back because of Casimero's condition. He didn't show up in the weigh in because of some medical condition in his stomach.

If not for that then this fight is over, this thread is close and we may have witnesssed another knock out from Casimero. But for now, we will have to wait, the fight is reschedule for April so please bear with all the fans waiting for this fight and for sure this thread will continue.  Smiley

The fight will definitely happen, it will not be canceled due to Casimero's problem again as that would be crucial to his career, imagine getting stripped with a belt of not even fighter over it, so expect that we will witness a great fight on the date of the fight which I guess was already announced.
2745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors overcome ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: February 05, 2022, 09:38:18 PM
I think it is too far and too complicated to understand. Almost all people are really looking forward to something that can make Ethereum back into a positive conversation and no longer complain about, especially the high gas costs.
Ethereum transaction gas will always remain high as long as there are no good upgrades to the Ethereum network, because the real Ethereum has needed it for a long time because Ethereum enthusiasts are still very large and large amounts of transactions are still happening very often on Ethereum now.
On the one hand, it is difficult for ETH competitors to beat ETH because the volume of Ethereum is very high. After that, there are also many supporting communities. ETH 2.0 might be a solution, but it won't be this year.
The most awaited upgrade for ethereum will hopefully solve the issue and create ways to reduce the gas fees, though its still uncertain when will it take place. Meanwhile, while ethereum transaction fees is still not resolved, this will give more chances for the competitors to improve their network so the people will have valid reason to shift to them, and thus a healthy competition will rise. Though its still hard to replace ethereum, but if the competitors have better offers, then why not?
2746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: February 05, 2022, 09:02:46 PM
if newbies won't quit from learning in trading as most of them believe that trading is a secret way to get rich instantly. But if they can be well trained and guided, the potential to be a good trader will be developed. However, trading is a constant learning, and there is not shortcuts from it. But if you are willing to learn with a positive mindset, and a good attitude towards trading, then that will give you an edge to stay ahead from others and making passive profits will be very possible in the future.
Dedication – that’s what a lot of them are lacking. Before you might have started tearing you know very well that there have been people who have been there before you, and it was due to their influence that you decided to start trading, so what makes you think that you can’t be successful like those people?

These newbies will get in the first time, they are forgetting that making money through investment and trading is not an easy thing to achieve, but they will still looking out for quick money. They don’t dedicate themselves to doing what would lead them to that level they wish to reach. Rather they are always in a hurry and wants to get it quick. Just like you have said, if these newbies don’t bend down and learn, then it’s not going to work.
This is why early traders are more successful than new traders because they have this dedication and urge for trading that they always need to fulfill. While these new traders are more confident that trading will always be easy because that's how they want it to be. Lack of efforts and dedication to be exact. But everything can be changed as trading itself will always be learned. With due diligence and right attitude, there will be higher chances for profitable trades.
2747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man who lost 7500 bitcoin in a landfill asks gov't he wants to dig it up on: February 05, 2022, 08:19:45 PM
He should have done something to dig it as early as possible before because he will surely have a hard time digging that hard drive these days. Also, the hard drive might get damaged so I hope that he could still recover it. There are really worst decisions that could lead to regrets in the future so we must always be responsible for our actions.
This is a proof that bitcoin rise will always be unexpected, so we should always take advantage of the market to buy bitcoin while there is still good opportunity on hand. And yes, we can make worst decisions in life that will make us regrets in the end. So as much as possible, we should always be wary of our actions.

So its 9 years has passed from 2013, that makes it very impossible to find the lost hard drive. It may take a miracle to make it happen dude.
2748  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: February 05, 2022, 07:30:39 PM
It all starts with will and belief. I believe if we continue to be consistent with crypto and not have to care about what other people have to say, it will definitely pay off in the future. I look back at crypto which always provides opportunities for them, it all depends on us how to take advantage of it all.

I think more than will and belief, you have to at least back it with concrete data and evidence to fully maximize the potential of earning on your investments. The problem with cryptocurrencies is that most people believe that this would make them instantly rich without even understanding what they are investing on.

If you truly believe that investing into cryptocurrencies may be the key into unlocking the full potential of your investments, at least do your responsibility by providing proper research and data. If you go on investing without even knowing anything, you will most likely end up cashing out your investments before you even reach its full potential.
For some, crypto is only made for quick profits. But when you start to enter the crypto market, that's when you realized that its more than that. And you can't be gaining profits if you are incapable and don't have the right attitude towards crypto. So you have to be very responsible in the first place by making yourself knowledgeable and not fearful when it comes to risks, as crypto brings a lot of risk. Here are the do's and dont's in crypto. 2749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Company on: February 05, 2022, 06:40:14 PM
I suggest you don't give your money to them for trading. There are many sites I have seen, which promise to give you profit when you give them your money. That mostly does scam. So, be careful from these services.
Currently all offers from brokers are not recommended to be followed unless you know yourself personally from the broker itself. good advice from you that do not give your money to them for trading, because they do a lot of scams even though the offers made in such a good way, but there will always be opportunities to commit the fraud.

Of course it is better to do it yourself by learning and doing it with a small prefix and knowing the ins and outs by yourself so as to increase knowledge at the same time.
Though some trading brokers are legit, but most of them are not reliable and viable. These traders often have shady dealings that will make you think these are not the legit ones. So before you lose your funds, stay away from them. Focus on yourself as you can't trust anyone in trading but only yourself. Build your own strategies that will make your trades successful, and not rely to someone who may be a total stranger to you.
2750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 05, 2022, 01:39:46 PM
My early pick.

Game; Milwaukee Bucks vs Portland TrailBlazers

I like the road team here, now that the Portland are in a losing streak, I think the Bucks will be able to dominate them and beat them in a huge margin. The spread is only -8.5 now, but I'm still okay with -10.5, in case the line will move in favor of the Bucks.

The better team will win and the Portland will continue to struggle, that's my vision in this game.

Tailing you on this one, yes, it seems that Portland is going to struggle without Dame, similar to what the Nets is going through without KD. -8.5 at 1.89 is already a good single bet to me.

I will also bet on Phoenix Suns, they will have to get back and bounce back after a ugly lost against the Hawks. They are well rested, and the best road team, -7.5 at 1.89 as well.

Phoenix Suns will likely bounce back, after their winning streak was broken, they will surely start a new winning streak again and I think they'll start it by beating the Washington Wizards on their homecourt. Good luck, I trust the Phoenix Suns to win and get that spread covered.
2751  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 04, 2022, 08:51:52 PM
~
Yeah, I wasn't looking that much in the current Bitcoin price lately and was just surprised that we're now back in 40k. Kind of slow but hey we're getting there. Previously, I was eyeing on Bitcoin to be around 100k by the end of the year, but it won't matter if we don't reach it just yet.
In the end, a lower price was my opportunity to buy even more. I ain't whale though Cheesy.
Even myself i was not expecting this $40k now, but i'm glad bitcoin has reached another price resistance level. But honestly, this is not my focus at this moment as im still enjoying buying from this bearish market. I think if we can take more advantage with the current market condition, seeing the prices are still in dips, then we can make huge profits by then by the time bitcoin will hit another new ATH once the market starts to become stable again. And $75k will be realized soon.
2752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: February 03, 2022, 12:36:07 PM
Very interesting turn of events for Canelo, he went to the WBC convention and challenge the CW champion and then when he win his fight, suddenly Canelo doesn't want him anymore.

In any case, I'm still looking for articles that might give weight for a GGG vs Alvarez trilogy. This is the right that we all have been wanting to see. Although Charlo is undefeated and could be a good challenge for Canelo, he still lacks the experience and even power to crack Canelo's chin.

That's what I see, Charlo lack of experience will be an advantage for Canelo, but if Charlo will take the right, then that's a good treat for us, besides, a fighter doesn't need to be undefeated in order to be called as a great fighter, Canelo is not undefeated but he is a great fighter.
2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 03, 2022, 11:17:33 AM
I have started seeing Nets' chance for being the champions lower than before from now on. Because there is a very visible drop in their performance and the losing streak is getting bigger by each one of their games recently. Nets weren't this bad actually but something is really odd about them these days. Whatever the problem is, they need to solve it before the playoffs. Otherwise, we might not even see them in the conference finals. And this would be a big disappointment for the Nets fans and people who have big expectations from them.
KD is out for weeks and the team can't be carried by Kyrie or Harden. The thing with them is that they are totally reliant with their big 3 and if one is absent, then it's hard for them to take a win.

Although others have been stepping up, but it seems that is not enough. Blake is old and way past his prime, and so is LA. Only Claxton and Mills are really there, but they too are inconsistent. Maybe they can still make it to the playoffs, but it will be very difficult for them to be the Eastern champs.

They can't win without the support of the other role players.

I see the Nets now in a similar situation with the Lakers, they are also struggling when AD was injured and now the same thing happens when Lebron was not playing. These two teams (Lakers and Nets) were supposed to be the favorites to win the championship this season, but it seems like their struggle is real.
2754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 02, 2022, 02:35:29 PM
I went to buy a phone with my friend today. Going there, Iphone 13 pro max became my favorite phone.  And arouses interest in buying. But I did not have enough money to buy that phone in my pocket. I laugh and talk about Bitcoin to the owner of that showroom. I was surprised to that the owner of that showroom want to sell his phone to me  for Bitcoin. And I asked him again, "Are you kidding me?"then He immediately gave me a bitcoin wallet to pay him. I paid him bitcoin and bought the Iphone 13 pro max.

Since the price of Bitcoin has come down a lot now, it has become foolish for me to buy the phone with Bitcoin.  Because for that I have to spend more bitcoin.  But still I am very happy to be able to do it.  Because in my country Bitcoin is still declared as an illegal currency.  Nevertheless, I got this advantage
at least you have your favourite phone now because of bitcoin and at the same time you make the owner happy as well because he's now owning a bitcoin at the very dip level wherein for sure he will become profitable soon because of you..  Cheesy  by the way i wouldn't be surprised why the owner has bitcoin wallet since bitcoin it's very common now, infact even drivers nowadays were accepting bitcoin so how much more that store wherein selling gadgets. Cheesy

I have not yet experienced paying my fare with bitcoin, i guess its not that usable here. You still have to convert your bitcoin into fiat so you can use it as a payment. However, i'm glad to hear OP that you have used your bitcoin at your own advantage and pay directly to the owner. Its a good feeling that you have finally enjoy your hard earned bitcoin through buying your dream phone.  I must say you're not being dumb when you use your bitcoin to buy it, even if you use it just for fashion or whatever, you have all the rights to spend your bitcoin. Your money, your bitcoin, your choice how to spend it.
2755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best tokens for arbitrage trading? on: January 31, 2022, 08:46:12 PM
Hello friends
I have heard that there are people who earn income by trading arbitrage. I am very inexperienced at this. Which token or coin do you think would be suitable for arbitrage trading? Thank you.
I think it's not on the token but on the exchange, you need to find an exchange where there's a gap between other trading sites so you can find an opportunity to trade, it is existing though but you need to be active in monitoring to find such opportunity, some uses a programming tools in order to find that gap or opportunity because arbitrage trading has no risk, it's just that it's not easy to do it.

I find it similar to sports betting arbitrage, possible but not easy to do.

2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 31, 2022, 12:20:24 PM
I'm not familiar with the attitudes of the fans that are from Liverpool. But by reading the previous posts here, it says something negative and Casimero should be able to show his full blow on this match and just leave Butler with a KO. Because if it doesn't happen, there could be some biased scoring. I'm not worried about the fans, there could be some ways to mitigate that if he's also concerned about that. But about the scoring and judging, yeah, everyone's being concerned on it.
I think not just from UK, I guess in every places where you trying to fight the local boys, for sure you will not be well received by the crowd. And that's what makes this fight very interesting for Casimero as he can knock out everyone, and what will be the reaction of the (hostile) crowd if they see their boy being knock out by an Asian fighter? For sure it's gonna hurt the crowd, so Casimero should be well prepared and expect the unexpected.
The crowd already knows that their fighter is a heavy underdog, so they understand if Butler will lose in the fight. It will only hurt the crowd if they know that Butler is the favorite as they are expecting him to win, just like the fight against Tete where Tete was the favorite and it happen in their own home country.
2758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 31, 2022, 11:47:09 AM
Luka Doncic had another triple double and a close win. His 43rd triple double in his career. Only at 22 years old. Quite an accomplishment. And he was not selfish during the clutch time also, I feel he is much better than the other selfish stars, and for the long run can be more successful. Orlando Magic is not doing so good this season, although they fought strong but couldn't finish at the end. They had a great second quarter, really admirable. It seems like Dallas can hold on to the sixth position in the western conference but how far can they go in the playoffs, that is very likely to be the first round. Still let us see what Luka magic can accomplish.
Luka is the future of the NBA, I think he can break the record of Westbrook with the way he is playing at 22 years old.

There are a lot of upsets in tonight's game, and luckily the Mavs edges out the Magic in a very close match. Bucks lost a huge margin 36 points at their home court.

Luka has just entered the 4th year of his career and he's doing really well as the most valuable player in his team that has the biggest contribution on his team's success. However, he could've carry his team into the Finals or even in the conference finals by now, I mean LeBron brought the Cavs with a bunch of nobodies in the finals in his 4th year. Luka and LeBron has been compared many times as they both are a good all around player.
I know Luka could dominate the league in the next couple of years, let's just see how the Mavericks help him to win a championship.

Remember that Lebron has an easier journey because he was playing on the East team before where the competition is not that tight compared to the West. And please tell me, what seasons are you referring to that Lebron is playing with the Cavaliers with the bunch of nobodies? It makes me interested though.
2759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is available on NO KYC Crypton Exchange on: January 31, 2022, 08:31:42 AM
No KYC is a tempting offer, however I personally would still keep my distance from new exchanges, no matter what features they claim. New exchanges need to prove themselves with time and patience. Not overblown promises.

At the very least we should take a look at the team behind the exchange as well as the investors and partners who are backing this entire website. If we don't have names and trustworthy faces, then that alone would seem like a red flag to me.

I have yet to make my judgement though.
There are more risk today if we get involved ourselves in those new crypto exchanges that have not proved their authenticity and of course, transparency. Particularly for those No KYC exchanges as the security of our asset is more at stake. So i have provided the top crypto exchanges for 2022 without KYC required. 2760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IMF urges El Salvador to remove Bitcoin as legal tender on: January 31, 2022, 07:58:35 AM
What can the IMF do if El Salvador will still continues to use bitcoin as a legal tender?

They made their decision, they already adopted bitcoin and they cannot just easily change it because of what IMF says.
It's their personal decision and before they consider bitcoin as a legal tender, they already had a series of studies to know how it will benefit their economy and their country overall. Besides, it's not only bitcoin that is considered as legal tender in their country, they always have an option.
Honestly, IMF has nothing to do with the decision of El Salvador, but it may affect the relationship status between them. IMF is seeing the threats brought by bitcoin and according to them, bitcoin adoption entails large risks for financial and market integrity, financial stability, and consumer protection. It also can create contingent liabilities. Read it here: https://www.imf.org/en/News/Articles/2022/01/25/pr2213-el-salvador-imf-executive-board-concludes-2021-article-iv-consultation

Nayib Bukele is very firm in his own decision not to abide with IMF, but i don't think El Salvador citizens agree with it since there were 80% of them were totally against from adopting bitcoin.
