2741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 10, 2022, 09:15:26 PM
I mean, Casimero still have those speed and strength needed to take down Butler but Casimero's enemy is himself now. Aside from that, IMO Casimero needs a bariatricians or nutritionist to watch him while his training for the fight.

The strength maybe but the speed? I think he is not fast enough, he could not even catch Rigo.  Smiley

I see Casimero successful because of his great timing in the ring, if he maintains his coolness and worth smarter, then for sure he will win the fight, and who knows he can score a knockout that would make people be interested more in him again.

The speed was there but he is not as fast as Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Rigo. However, if Rigo did not just run throughout the fight, it could be an exciting fight and Casimero will be able to show his might and could probably hurt Rigo in that fight, it was a boring fight and it's not expected that he could knock out a fighter who is not willing to take the risk to engage aggressively.
2742  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 07, 2022, 09:58:05 PM
Bitcoin is fully decentralized which is why I think it doesn't have to compete with Fiat at all, those who needs the decentralized idea should just keep using BTC as it is, we all know that CBDC will run on the blockchain too but in centralised form so where thus this leave Bitcoin?

It's been stated in the past that bitcoin is only an alternative currency, even if it will grow its adoption, there's no way it will replace fiat which is widely used by the people unless the government will give way to crypto by legalizing and adopting it which I think is impossible as they will lose their control on a centralized currency.

Decentralized currency provides privacy but it will never kill the centralized currency, not even in my dreams.

2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino KYC how it works and to what effect on: February 07, 2022, 08:39:37 PM
Not all casinos implement KYC, it depends on the set rules. There are still many casinos you can visit without having to go to KYC for withdrawals. You just need to select and sort them according to your wish where your personal data do not want to be given. Back again to one's preferences in dealing with KYC. That is why it is important to prioritize reading the casino rules before betting, so as not to become a complicated complaint, because most people bet in a hurry, when they want to make a withdrawal they are asked to KYC instead end up saying something bad to the casino.
Many are still good and don't apply KYC to their customers, only if they'll be good to their accounts. The casino will step on it if that person has been caught being distrustful.
That's when they will start asking for documents and proof of ownership and identity from that person. Just be sure that you're the person they really are dealing with because when they start being doubtful to you, you really have to proceed what's being asked.
What I did to avoid this problem is I spread my bets on different gambling sites. I understand that when you are gambling with a decent amount of money, you might become subject to KYC in the long run if you keep winning, so that is not good for me as it will defeat the purpose why I'm gambling using crypto casinos because of privacy.
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 07, 2022, 08:10:23 PM
There is especially at those who didn't able to watch Mike Tyson during his prime. The only chance for those people to watch the Legendary boxer is through an exhibition match. Be it against Logan Paul or any, Tyson should do another exhibition match. It's a great chance for those people who didn't witness how Mike Tyson is fighting in the ring.

I don't think that in the current state Tyson is close to what he could before. When I watch old videos, I understand how much he was ahead of his time (at least he was ahead of technical development) because the cameras of those years did not have time to adequately capture his movements. It's like watching hockey on an old TV (if you know what I mean) when you don't see the puck at all. I think that only those who saw those old Tyson fights live understand how fast and strong he was.

Even watching the old videos of Mike Tyson, I can already tell that he is fast and strong. He has bigger opponents but he was able to take him down, the legend really has the talent in boxing, but sometime in his career, he abuse his body and lose discipline that's why he didn't last and he retired early. But still, against a YouTuber, I think he is still too much for Logan Paul.
He wont become popular because of nothing, the only flaw i do see on Mike is on his stamina but when it comes to power and toughness then i dont really have doubts on him.
Even on old age then it would really be still believable that he could still pull some power punches and techniques that he had acquired on years of his boxing career
which even a young man couldnt able to bare out.I do still believe on his power despite of his age but we know that  this fight wont push through
because Mike isnt interested to fight Paul.

He is already 55 years old, you can easily say that his stamina cannot beat a younger fighter, however, he has a good skills in boxing, and he can finish this fight early if his opponent are willing to engage and give a toe to toe fight, so let's see if that would be the scenario.
2746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 07, 2022, 01:35:17 PM

I have to side with you on this. Casimero having the issue will affect everything. Paul Butler might take that as an advantage too. He is more well-prepared compared to Casimero that I think still resting at this point and not doing any hard training and workout.

We don't have any update about the Casimero today but we need to trust him. Although in reality, trust is not enough. A healthy and strong is needed as having just confidence can't be applied here.

Butler will surely do everything to make Casimero struggles now that he knows that the latter is having a health-related problem.

Health-related issues of Casimero will definitely going to be an edge of Butler on this fight and I guess this is the part where Casimero should prepared of because for sure this will be his disadvantage on this fight. I am not doubting on the capability, talent and skills of Casimero but yeah like what you did feel mate about him I am too concerned that Casimero issues will affect everything in his career. I know he is one of the good fighter but yeah he should resolve his self issues first to be able to win this fight.

Casimero would not start training if he is not fully healthy now, I guess we should focus more on his training, not on his issue before that resulted in the fight getting postponed, I'm confident that Casimero is 100% healthy going to the fight and he will successfully defend his title.

Inoue would not want to see Casimero to win here as he knows it will pressure him to fight Casimero as people are asking for it.
2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 07, 2022, 12:37:55 PM
For now, I would not touch any game of the Nets, they are struggling but at the same time I also don't want to bet against them.

Good decision,  just watch them struggle, besides, we can still gamble since we have a lot of games on a daily basis.

Early leans, I have the following bets.

Warriors -12
Jazz -7.5
Heat -5.5

I like the bulls but I'm doubtful against the Phoenix Suns

I like the Warriors chances against the OKC with -12.5. Although it seems to be a big spread, but the Warriors is hot right now.

As for the Bulls, they've lost against the Sixers and they are on a back to back games. And they are going to face the Suns who is on top of the WC.

Same here, The Warriors are on a hot winning streak, 8 win streak to be specific, so I'm confident that they will continue their win streak against the OKC which have 3 wins only in their last 10 games. it could be a high spread, but the way they are playing, they will surely dominate the game again and beat the OKC with a good winning margin.
2748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 07, 2022, 11:43:10 AM
Great news for us, though we already know that they will resume in the 2nd week of this month but that official news is important for us to stop speculating. Good opening games.

we have Bolts vs Warriors, and in the 2nd game hotshots vs TNT.
My pick would be the NLEX and TNT.
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: February 07, 2022, 09:40:39 AM

It is reported that Keith Thurman will be out of any boxing-related event for 22 months to heal his injury. He will again at hiatus instead of fighting again in the next 3-4 months. That will contribute to his inactivity on the boxing ring.

He will probably be at age 34-35 on his next fight. Age is a factor for a boxer that is not active.
While it is the Age always matter in Boxing yet the activities will contribute more , the practicing and the actual training is always the concept that a Boxer needs to pursue his career , so i hope even if he is healing injuries yet he needs to be active still with small training .

That is not good for him, he work hard for his comeback and had an impressive win but this happened. I guess his career is not really destined to make him a great boxer, if he comes back and fights a champion, I now have doubt that he could win, most likely he will lose due to ring rust and the age factor as well. Being active in boxing is very important, long layoff could really affect the performance of a boxer.
2750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy for crypto trading on: February 06, 2022, 09:53:54 PM
There's no really best strategy it's all about the strategy of a trader, I've been in the trading world since 2020 and im not quite pro because until now I'm continuously learning more. One of the strategies I'm using is the MACD I created a thread related to it [GUIDE]Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) still this is the one I'm using and next is the technical analysis like charting. Currently, I'm using is the Twin rage filter algo its not an accurate trading tool but gives you an idea of when to buy and sell.
At the end of the day, most of the strategies end up being a bit "wrong" because most of them fail to predict unexpected things. If the market goes as it "should" then there are quite a few strategies that could work very well but when we are talking about something that is dangerously unexpected and sudden then all of them fail. This does happen in stock market as well when crashes happen but in crypto it is much more frequent.

How many times have we seen prices go down without any indication of it? How many times it did it when it was going up? It did it countless times, maybe like once every month averages and that is why it is hard to follow a strategy and assume it is the best one.
There's no really such best strategies especially if you are in long term trading as the crypto market is dynamic and changes will certainly happen from time to time. There can be good strategies but you cannot expect that it will always be profitable as trading strategies need to be improved and upgraded. However, i have provided a link which will make your day trading more profitable by following all these essential factors. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/trading/06/daytradingretail.asp
2751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A little reminder why Bitcoin is necessary on: February 06, 2022, 09:25:44 PM
Most services mention that in their TOS, even those who have nothing to do with financial businesses, such as PayPal, Western Union and so on. Thus, I don't find it a reasonable argument. However, I never faced any significant issue with PayPal or eBay, on the contrary, they backed me up in a few cases of being screwed over, or when I once had my account compromised, while my family and I've been using them for over 10 years.

I don't think there's a reason to compare Bitcoin and services such as PayPal, it doesn't lead anywhere nor is it a rational comparison.
there will never be a real reason to compare Bitcoin and services with paypal, because it is irrational. Because Bitcoin and paypal services are very different. Bitcoin is decentralized whereas paypal has clear rules. the limitations provided by paypal are rules that inevitably must be followed if you want to use paypal.
Still, there are quite a few users who frequently compare cryptocurrencies with financial institutions. It's not only pointless, but incomparable. Whether we like it or not, even if Bitcoin's adoption becomes widespread, such services won't be replaced, and we'll be stuck using them no matter what. To be honest, if I'm making a purchase from a foreign country, I always use PayPal, due to their safety features.

Such arguments are invalid, especially for services that have proven their worth throughout a long time period.
Paypal has always proven its own worth that makes more people become interested in it. A payment network that lets you create a one time purchase and an easier way to make payments with your monthly bills by providing faster and more convenient services to its users. However, bitcoin on the other hand is a decentralized currency that also offers you a vast way of freedom to create purchases on the stores that accept bitcoin. Both of them have their own advantages so there is no need to compare them as people will always find them both useful and secured to use.
2752  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF urges El Salvador to remove Bitcoin as legal tender on: February 06, 2022, 08:52:27 PM
It must require big challenges because it is against the world governments and the centralized system. IMF as one of the centralized organizations must be unhappy if more countries adopt BTC as a legal tender. More countries use BTC as a legal tender, which means more countries are probably to be independent. IMF doesn't want this to happen because they cannot regulate world finance again in the future.
If you really want to hurt places like IMF and big banks and even big nations by using Bitcoin and making it your legal tender then you also have to accept the fact that they won't help you. Why would they help you or give you a loan when you are doing something that hurts the very being of them? This is why we have so many different situations here people do not understand.

IMF is basically saying that they can't stop El Salvador from using bitcoin as legal tender but as long as they do that then IMF will not give them a loan. That makes sense, if the whole world turned bitcoin to legal tender in all nations then IMF would lose power and they do not want that. There is nothing really shocking about this, if my entire existence dependent on El Salvador losing money during this period and not doing great (because it could be example to other small nations) then I would warn them too.
Honestly, IMF may say what they want to say and propose orders but that won't give them the power to contradict on what's the final decision of the president. And i don't think Bukele is taking all these things selfishly and all for his own advantages, but more on for the welfare of the country. I can see that there is a great challenge now on the side of the president as how he can prove that his decision will work despite of the opposition of IMF, as a lot of countries have been eyeing El Salvador from now on.
2753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is the best crypto provider to give you advice on how to trade in crypto? on: February 06, 2022, 08:20:42 PM
Because there are so many crypto signal providers now, it's hard for me to pick the right one. Many of these crypto trading signal providers have a good record of giving out good signals, but some are only in it for the money. This is what you need to know about these people. So, which is the best source of crypto trading signals, and which one should you use to make money?

I won't recommend any crypto signal provider to you because of of them are just scam. Their signals are not reliable and it will lead you to a huge loses instead of making profit. If I were you, just learn trading by yourself, gather enough knowledge and learn from your experience to create your own strategy. That is an effective method you can use rather than relying on those fake and scam signals.Search a good project to invest and study it how it works and how you can earn from thar project.
Its hard to find legit and reliable trading signals providers these days, as most of them are only here for your money. And you cannot say if they have the real credentials that will make your trades turn into successful, because most of them are great pretenders that don't really have the worth. So definitely, just invest in your own self. There is no other trader that can help you but only yourself. Trust yourself because you are capable enough, and you have the skill and good strategies that will make you win your trades.
2754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 06, 2022, 05:12:44 PM
Bitcoin has made good progress in last two days, we all know that altcoins will follow the same path and some Altcoins like Binance have already started to surge so I feel this would be the right moment to invest into Altcoins like ADA, Solana and ICP which are ready to explode any moments, what's your take on this? Things will be in our favour of we choose the altcoin's wisely and better to invest now rather doing r when it reaches the peak.

But my only worry is what if it's one more bulltrap.

Too early to say it's a real bull run, because it's just a one pump which lead the bitcoin price went to more than 10%. We will see the price trends till the end of the month to make sure this is the right time to invest on altcoins or not because when it is turn out to bull trap, holding alt will get more bleed because the price drop will be more than holding btc
We aren't really sure if this small progress from bitcoin will create a bull run or a bull trap in the end, so investing right now could create bigger risk in the future. But if you have invested in those well established altcoins, even if their prices end up in dips, i think that will not be a serious problem. Those coins with great potentials will always regain their value if bitcoin creates another price surge. But still, always invest on the amount you can afford to lose.
2755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities Embracing bitcoin because of Divorce? on: February 06, 2022, 04:32:27 PM

I thought it's the other way around, they accept BTC because they are seeing possibilities that in the future keeping BTC in their wallet will keep their coins with them and not going to be cut in half to be given to their ex-wife.

If you have BTC while you are still single and you got married after a year yet you still have your BTC in a wallet. Will these coins in the wallet be considered owned by the couple?

It is difficult to explain this and of course it all depends on the marriage laws that apply in a country or on a particular religion, but broadly speaking, bitcoins that are owned when we are single are absolutely our own and of course we have full rights to the assets. However, if we get married and buy bitcoins during the marriage, of course the bitcoins will become a shared right between us and our partners, but I think after the wedding of course we will also share them with our partners even though we have bitcoins when we are single, maybe in this case only we and our children will have full rights to what we have whether we are single or married later.
Assets or properties that you have acquired before the marriage will give you the full rights to own it. However, if you keep on acquiring the assets when you are already married, your partner will get a fair share on it once the marriage ended. You may read it here for further understanding about splitting your assets once divorce is filed.https://www.columbusfamilylawyer.com/blog/2021/february/am-i-entitled-to-half-of-everything-in-a-divorce/
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 06, 2022, 09:28:19 AM

Quote
And I wouldn't be surprise if Ancajas will be the slight favorite. And this could be the another must watch fight for Philippines.
I expect that he will be the favorite, and I also expect that he will win.

Tomorrow we will be in the new month or February 2022, so this means the fight is fast approaching and yet we still have no idea about the betting odds of this fight. Well, I don't know if the information from this site is accurate, but this tells the odds of the favorite sportsbook which I'm sure are going to list this game.

https://www.bettingexpert.com/boxing/fernando-martinez-vs-jerwin-ancajas

I guess we should monitor the top 3 bookies, for sure they'll be the first to list the betting odds. Those are fiat bookies, right? honestly, I don't have an account but I'm hoping we can access the betting odds without opening an account, but a summary of the odds would be enough for us to have an idea of what to wait from out favorite crypto bookies.
^ Yes they are all fiat-based bookies but you can able to use your BTC but not directly deposit to the site.
In Bet365 you can use your BTC to bet by opening a Neteller account, this is a very convenient way to fund Bet365 if really you wanted to use it to place a bet on this match which looks like a very exciting match. I hope there is on the Sportsbet.io soon so that we can able place a bet on those who do have not an account listed above.

I'm not comfortable with that, I want to directly deposit and withdraw my bitcoin to and from the platform without no other 3rd party app, that way it's easier and I can really feel the essence why I'm using crypto in gambling, and that is to maintain my privacy.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 06, 2022, 09:11:54 AM
True, as champion he gets the lion share but it was not that big because of the weight class.

Nevertheless it's time for Casimero to show case his skills again, he is on a momentum run and majority of us doubt that Butler can upset him even if the fight is going to be held in his home town.

So this is just a stepping stone kinda fight for Casimero, the bigger fish is still Inoue and then Donaire.

Actually if we will going to look at the side of the paycheck we can say that it's quite a low cut for Casimero but for me as a fan I would say that he must not just focus on it because if he could win this fight this may help him boost it's career and probably give him a way to have a possibility to fight with Inoue which I bet this man Casimero is really looking up to. This is definitely a stepping stone for him to catch the attention of the team of the big fish fighters like Inoue.
Bigger things are waiting for Casimero if he wins on this fight so better to focus on that than to price reward on his match with Butler. This may not be an easy fight for Casimero and a lot of pressure to him since he puts too much trash talk before I still believe on this guy, I know he can bring more price to Filipinos and finally have a good revenge against Inoue, that's what I'm looking forward with Casimero.  Smiley

If it were up to me, Casimero does have an 80% chance that he could win this fight. And may even upset Inoue if given the chance but I think Casimero will be honored to fight Inoue already even if he loses. It doesn't really look as if Inoue can knock Casimero if you take a look at them physically but we have seen Inoue made fighters kneel by just one liver blow.

The fight is still a month later but this thread have been up last year.  Cheesy

It's because the fight has been postponed or shall I shall move back because of Casimero's condition. He didn't show up in the weigh in because of some medical condition in his stomach.

If not for that then this fight is over, this thread is close and we may have witnesssed another knock out from Casimero. But for now, we will have to wait, the fight is reschedule for April so please bear with all the fans waiting for this fight and for sure this thread will continue.  Smiley

The fight will definitely happen, it will not be canceled due to Casimero's problem again as that would be crucial to his career, imagine getting stripped with a belt of not even fighter over it, so expect that we will witness a great fight on the date of the fight which I guess was already announced.
2758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors overcome ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: February 05, 2022, 09:38:18 PM
I think it is too far and too complicated to understand. Almost all people are really looking forward to something that can make Ethereum back into a positive conversation and no longer complain about, especially the high gas costs.
Ethereum transaction gas will always remain high as long as there are no good upgrades to the Ethereum network, because the real Ethereum has needed it for a long time because Ethereum enthusiasts are still very large and large amounts of transactions are still happening very often on Ethereum now.
On the one hand, it is difficult for ETH competitors to beat ETH because the volume of Ethereum is very high. After that, there are also many supporting communities. ETH 2.0 might be a solution, but it won't be this year.
The most awaited upgrade for ethereum will hopefully solve the issue and create ways to reduce the gas fees, though its still uncertain when will it take place. Meanwhile, while ethereum transaction fees is still not resolved, this will give more chances for the competitors to improve their network so the people will have valid reason to shift to them, and thus a healthy competition will rise. Though its still hard to replace ethereum, but if the competitors have better offers, then why not?
2759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade-in between the lines on: February 05, 2022, 09:02:46 PM
if newbies won't quit from learning in trading as most of them believe that trading is a secret way to get rich instantly. But if they can be well trained and guided, the potential to be a good trader will be developed. However, trading is a constant learning, and there is not shortcuts from it. But if you are willing to learn with a positive mindset, and a good attitude towards trading, then that will give you an edge to stay ahead from others and making passive profits will be very possible in the future.
Dedication – that’s what a lot of them are lacking. Before you might have started tearing you know very well that there have been people who have been there before you, and it was due to their influence that you decided to start trading, so what makes you think that you can’t be successful like those people?

These newbies will get in the first time, they are forgetting that making money through investment and trading is not an easy thing to achieve, but they will still looking out for quick money. They don’t dedicate themselves to doing what would lead them to that level they wish to reach. Rather they are always in a hurry and wants to get it quick. Just like you have said, if these newbies don’t bend down and learn, then it’s not going to work.
This is why early traders are more successful than new traders because they have this dedication and urge for trading that they always need to fulfill. While these new traders are more confident that trading will always be easy because that's how they want it to be. Lack of efforts and dedication to be exact. But everything can be changed as trading itself will always be learned. With due diligence and right attitude, there will be higher chances for profitable trades.
2760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man who lost 7500 bitcoin in a landfill asks gov't he wants to dig it up on: February 05, 2022, 08:19:45 PM
He should have done something to dig it as early as possible before because he will surely have a hard time digging that hard drive these days. Also, the hard drive might get damaged so I hope that he could still recover it. There are really worst decisions that could lead to regrets in the future so we must always be responsible for our actions.
This is a proof that bitcoin rise will always be unexpected, so we should always take advantage of the market to buy bitcoin while there is still good opportunity on hand. And yes, we can make worst decisions in life that will make us regrets in the end. So as much as possible, we should always be wary of our actions.

So its 9 years has passed from 2013, that makes it very impossible to find the lost hard drive. It may take a miracle to make it happen dude.
