2741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why more women to trade crypto? on: July 09, 2021, 05:54:43 PM
Robinhood COO: We have enabled more women to trade crypto.
Gretchen Howard described crypto investments "stereotyped as a male-dominated space,” but she has seen significant growth for women during her two years at Robinhood.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/robinhood-coo-we-have-enabled-more-women-to-trade-crypto
First time on hearing out that theres a platform who doesnt really recognized women or doesnt allow women to use up to trade up because of gender?
How come this had become the main factor for them to consider out on allowing a certain gender? It should be freely accessed no matter if you are a man
or woman as long you do know how to trade up and i dont see the point on how gender affects up the way they do trade or simply affect on the business?
This is a free market and everyone does have the will neither they would engage or not and as expected that women are less likely to engage
on risky or adventurous things compared to man.

2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most profitable gambling strategies, what are they? on: July 08, 2021, 10:36:39 PM
I know that strategy will only help us have a better chance of winning something from gambling. But in the end I dare say that no strategy will benefit us in the long term.

Of the many strategies I have used, I have never managed to win more than $200 during a playing session. I'm sure you all have different experiences with me because maybe you have a different gambling style than me. In the short term, can you tell me what strategy managed to make you win over $200 over the course of the game?

The best strategy for me is an the martingale strategy. I made the most money with just doubling up once I lost 1 bet. The good thing here is that you just need to win one time to recover all previous losses. But you need to start with very small amounts, which means that your winnings are also going to be smaller. The biggest winning I had with the martingale strategy was $90, because every time you win need to start from your small initial bet again. It is quite time consuming but makes a decent profit long term.
The problem with martingale is that you need to have huge capital to begin with, otherwise you will get busted quicker than you think. Even if you started small amounts, if you are "unlucky", this strategy won't work.

I don't have specific strategies though, probably you just have to play with the money you are willing to lose. And if you found yourself doubling or even tripling that bankroll, I guess it's time to stop and take home that winnings.
But stopping midway would always be a main problem of most gamblers or simply when you are in profit because you would be definitely thinking next that what if you would continue?
for sure you would be thinking that you can possibly earn more and the result? you would be losing all it again in the platform or casino which the story would repeat infinitely.
Martingale does really need big bankroll and doesnt guaranteed wins if you do tend to use it, doubling bet on loss? thats typically suicide if losing streaks hits your hard.
When i do play then i dont mind about strategies and just play according to my mood and preference and if i do won then its either i would stop or would continue.
2744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: July 08, 2021, 08:50:29 PM
Crypto currency is one of the best investment platform in whole world. Where bitcoin is more profitable and secure investment which we have already proven. So in this pendamic situation those who wants to hold an asset that's resistant to inflation may find investing in bitcoin will be a good idea. Because Where the central banks of any country have the permission to print infinite amount of fiat currencies on the other hand the quantity of bitcoin is fixed in number and limited by its supply capped at 21 million. I think demand is more than supply is applies for bitcoin so in this pendamic situation bitcoin will be a good investment.
Dont think that bitcoin would save you up on this pandemic situation if you arent doing something or anything because this isnt some internet magic money that would save up your ass
if you dont do something but of course its true that bitcoin or crypto could really save yourself on this pandemic situation if you have done something and when it comes to investment
then it is really that appealing for anyone because of the returns that could possibly big but of course the risk would be on equal. So its up to someones decision if they would
make out investment then they should prepare themselves about that matter.
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: July 07, 2021, 11:44:19 PM
Scamming is really normal in a big business, at first they will catch you attention and they will really do their best just to trust them and if they already know that there are already a lot of people that is trusting them and they already have the money that was invested for them then that would be the time for them to scam people, do not fall for it always do some research to avoid getting scam.
and they will even spend big amount of money just to get our trust , sometimes they will build the name for long time and then will break it just for short chances.

And also these happens upon desperation , when the gambling site is experiencing lowering income and they starts to feel the pressure of the business? then they will act inappropriately so they will still make money even if they lose their credibility .

I agree to this.

Most likely this will happen when a gambling site doesn't have any license, they could do anything illegal since for sure, the people they have used on their team are not even legit, so they have the guts to runaway whenever they feel to do so, like what you have said, when they are not earning good anymore.

But if a certain gambling site do have a licence and SEC registered, I guess their only option is just to shutdown their business if they are not making any good bankroll.
Cant denied that if your licensed or regulated, the users does have the chance if ever they would turn out to be a scam but since we are on crypto world then that wouldnt really give an assurance.
Come to think that there are even good gambling sites now that doesnt have license so that simply means that being legit doesnt really need nor necessarily to have license but having
one in a business is mostly like had some advantage when it comes to public positive impressions but not all the times though.
Reputation cant be build over night and it does require lots of years for you to build one.
2746  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: July 07, 2021, 10:41:18 PM
For me, the definition of wealth is never having, for example you have 1000 BTC or 1 million USD is never enough for the greed of every human being including me. Although I have a lot of money, even though I have assets that I can't use for a lifetime, I never let that money rest, money makes money, that's why everyone wants to get richer, it's never enough.

That sis true that even the billionaire's work everyday to make more money and then it becomes their status to remain that rich and keep making more money than others. Some may have 1 million in life and he/she may consider rich to themselves as their needs are limited and some may be multi millionaire still may not consider rich as they compare themselves to big billionaires.
There would be no equality on this world on which there would be people who would be richer than you and since human beings are naturally born greedy then theres no such thing about having enough in terms of money.
Billionaires or even Trillionaires wont stop on making a business for them to earn more than that they have currently and when it comes on defining rich then it is someone who do have financial capacity on
buying things they do like or investing on things that they do like and since you are financially capable then that wont really be an issue for you to do so.
You can do all sorts  of things as you like as long you do have funds to spend on and this is where everyone do really differ on status level.
2747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: July 07, 2021, 09:17:20 PM
On March 12th last year, I did not have firm conviction. I sold Bitcoin and lost 4 BTC. I have been regretting it all the time.
I was still a novice at the time and did not follow the advice of my friends holding 80% of the positions.
It is too difficult to be a firm holder. Angry
Too bad you did an early decision that made you regret forever. Well, it's still not that late. You can still collect and buy bitcoins until you reach 4 btc or more again.

You're a novice by that time and you got 4 btc? how much you bought those?
He probably has the money that able to acquire 4BTC, and besides, it was cheaper than the price of today. However, it very unfortunate that he is not sure about what he invests and simply gets affected by FUDs and some sort of negativity. Truly, he is a novice in this platform. But don't consider it was a big mistake nor it is very regretting because as new investors in crypto, something bad really happens before we learn.
Think of things like that as part of the learning process because after all it's not easy to jump into the world of cryptocurrency,
indeed we should not be easily influenced by FUD,
before believing a news at least we need to do our own research related to the news
Cant really be avoided specially if you do saw that majority is really having the same impression or reaction towards that certain Fud or news. When you are just newbie then you would most likely react on the same
way and its impossible for you to ignore and to be mindful on verifying things out first before making further step towards your investment. Holding might sounds too easy but due to several
factors that would simply affect the way you are holding which might end up for you to panic sell or selling too early just because you had heard out some fuds or news.
Its not an easy thing and it does require experience for you to atleast aware on how this market works.
2748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 07, 2021, 07:57:15 PM
I am asking this because I do have some short of an answer for videogames and for massive multiplayer games and even for social network oriented games. Videogames require a great design, good difficulty grading, an story that engages the user, massive multiplayer and network oriented are a lot about the interactions and how varied and fun these are. However, for casino games, it would seem that these factors are not really the most important ones. You can see games with very basic graphics and design, simple in the options for the player and not that engaging yet they do "hook" people in them.
What do these games have to have for you?
I would definitely say the opposite thing about UI/UX doesnt really matter for most players? No its not.Its one of the factors on where people do get hooked up but of course the main

one would be talking about the games offered and the perks or bonuses on which do spark out peoples interest but of course those wont really be enough if a site doesnt look good.

All of those qualities on a certain gambling site is important and not just focus only on one factor because that wont surely be enough.
This is true! When i do saw a new site then the primary thing on where most people do make comments about is mostly on design. You would be seeing those feedbacks that design is mediocre or like a school project or something like that and that would be leaving bad impression in the end of the day so it does simply shows or means that it do surely counts. Its really one of the things that do hook up people on playing or staying on a gambling site because who would be the one who do like to play on a site which isnt beautifully designed?
2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: July 07, 2021, 06:59:27 PM
DOGE is an attractive coin
Prices will rise again in the fall
At that time, with BABY DOGE

Really with baby doge.  You do know how stupid that sounds right.  All of these clone coins will disappear as soon as we are in full bear mode.  Wallstreetbets got people money and in a couple moments wit will all vanish because of these stupid doge clones.  You missed the doge run its over.
Missed  out ones doesnt mean its already over since there would be other chance but the question is on when? Chances or opportunities like on what we had seen on Doge did really need lots of years and i agree
on what you said that once you had missed out then consider it as a missed opportunity but doesnt mean its already over for you to make investment.
Clones would be surely dead once the bear market comes or even not, there's no sustain into those kind of coins and would be just good for pump and dump which
it is something not surprising into this market.Once a hype had been built then expect a barrage of similar clone coins hoping that they could get some marketshare.
2750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some interesting ways you've introduced bitcoin to your friends? on: July 06, 2021, 11:31:06 PM
As I remember way back then, after learning what Bitcoin is from some of my other friends that have introduced it to me, my other friends got curious to know also about Bitcoin then and some have started asking me what it is really all about and the thing that I have done is like explaining it like we were in an economic class for I have introduced not just Bitcoin alone but the whole crypto market as well for it is better to expand the learnings rather than just keeping it hanging with regards to information. I have introduced the benefits, importance and usage of it to them while doing a talk in a way possible to be the easiest way they could understand my point.
Stick with the basics and dont go to complicated ones since your friends are just newbies then its normal that they wouldnt able to get the key points on first explanation, majority of them would
really be just in concern on how to make money and doesnt really mind much about the accompanied risk with it this is why when you do explain then also include on the possible risk
so that they would really be aware and just like into those previous years when i do start and get some basic learnings and experience then i do share up with other friends and now
we are earning here on crypto together because sharing up knowledge is always been good not only on your relationship but also into the entire community.
2751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: July 06, 2021, 10:35:23 PM
Rich people don't spend too much time online, this is a big challenge to casinos to keep the VIP players from staying with them.
Agree, that's why I said they belong in the different market. If the goal is to move VIPs from land casinos to online, I don't think it's possible in the short run. It's like forcing people who like smoking tobacco to smoke e-juice.
But nowadays most of the rich people are making money from online, the internet changed the life style completely in the last 5 to 10 years even millionaires are born simply earning from internet world so the business people are not only rich nowadays who doesn't have enough time to spend online but others who spend their all time being online can simply open a tab and enjoy the same feeling.

Times are changing! As Semobo said, nowadays most of the rich people come from online businesses! That said, the majority of people enjoy online activities now more than ever before! I guess many people like land-based casinos more, but there are people who give advantage to online casinos, especially crypto casinos... like in my case! So this is probably a matter of taste, what someones prefer more... we can't generalize and put "rich people like to hang out in land-based casinos, and poor people are more for online", it's totally individual what someone like!
Actually depending on someones preference or choice because there are people whom do really much like on experiencing physical perks and stuffs personally which means they do really
like to engage or experience it on a physical casino but of course it wouldnt count nor give you some perks that you could really get the same on online casinos. There are differences
between the two and if you do have experience on both offline and online then you can really tell on where they do differ and when your interest do much prefer offline then its your choice.
Competition about perks isnt really that much of a concern though.
2752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: July 06, 2021, 07:34:24 PM
The sentiment around here seems kinda mixed.  WO thread seems slightly bearish but I see people in other threads that are slightly bullish.  So..  for the bulls out there, do you guys think BTC will break out of its recent high of 65k USD this year?  If yes, please explain why.

Not sure at all for this year can reach $65k bitcoin price. for now there is no news or cases that can trigger the king of sleep, so bitcoin bounced back in such a short time. but above $35k - $45k it could possibly go up and breathe again.
Would really hard to determine because we know that news could just pop out from nowhere on where everybody wasnt expecting and this had been done or happen for how many times.
This is why i dont mind that much when it comes possible price in the future or just simply within months or even in the  end of the year since its always unpredictable.
You cant tell on when news specially hype and fud would happen where it is the greatest factor that could led to change of market trends.
So you should be prepared no matter what situation you might fall into.
2753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: July 06, 2021, 06:29:36 PM
This often happens when people are placing too much hope and overestimating their risks. I myself got into similar states when I lost 80% of the deposit on stupid mistakes, it was killing me.
The most offensive thing is that such things are done on emotions, in a swagger, not according to the plan, but if I went according to the plan I developed, everything would be fine. In part, all of this is related to risk assessment.

And that all would be gained through experience because this is the only thing you do need because you cant get all things in one go on first try or being just new and committing mistakes is just normal and this is why
when you do gain experience you would really able to lessen those risk and trying to sustain yourself in the market for too long.Fear and anxiety would be part and just like been others saying that those mistakes are
stepping stones on your progress as a trader, you wouldnt become any better if you dont learn from your mistakes but instead you do turn back and never came back.
If you do pursue as a crypto trader and really target or does have a goal on making profits then you should accept these kind of possible scenarios.
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 05, 2021, 11:27:02 PM
About on that cancelled fight.I totally agree with Donaire on his words.

"We’re two Filipinos. I want an apology from Casimero for disrespecting my family and my wife. I don’t want to be involved in a circus. We called off the fight the other day. We’re in a professional sport. We don’t need these personal attacks. If Casimero has nothing to hide, then he should get tested, that’s all it is, and I want that apology. Remember, we made this fight happen in the first place.” - Nonito Donaire Jr."

2755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB burn 16th. Now BNB is worth $312. Will you buy or not? on: July 05, 2021, 10:33:18 PM
Binance coin or known as BNB coin will begin their 16th token burn on this month (around mid-July 2021), last year, they have running BNB burn for 12th on July 17, 2020. Will you buy BNB now or just wait and see because market still looking not too good?

If the amount of $ burn similar with previous burn, it's mean they will burn around 2 million BNB coin worth of $600million
Usually i would wait after the burn for me to buy on the dip because on pre-burn news or events on where hype is usually created then it would really be resulting into those high prices which means
you would likely make yourself get caught on the peak in that case because accumulation would really happen when people do really hear out these burning or listing events which are mostly
been eyed for and investors will typically be getting in before the pump happens without knowing that this isnt always the case because pumps do usually happen first and then dump
after and thats the right time to get in when you are aiming for cheaper BNB.If demand would retain or increasing then expect value would rise up.
2756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a true decentralized currency? on: July 05, 2021, 09:36:10 PM
The whale manipulates its value and is so easily manipulated. Is this decentralization?

Do you have a proof that whales are manipulating the crypto market? This can very well be a popular belief and may be far from reality. Till date we haven't seen any legit proof where the whales have manipulated the market. Obviously Elon Musk did and now his company's bitcoin holding is running in negative.

I don't think we have any other assets available which are greatly decentralized like bitcoin.
Come to think that if Bitcoin was decentralized in the first place then e wont really becoming this big. Government had been trying for years on to control Bitcoin literally on technical aspects
for manipulation in terms of price or value but same as you said it cant be proven out but we can presume that its there even on traditional markets like stocks and forex where these
manipulative actions can really be obvious for sometimes and thats a centralized market, how much more on a decentralized market where funds could easily flow?
Bitcoin is decentralized and its demand and support is the proof.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Casinos to allow Cannabis Lounges. on: July 05, 2021, 07:26:07 PM
Drug and casinos go hand in hand, I guess the casino with cannabis lounges is built in response to players’ demand. If the government permits that then the trend will keep rising but it is left for the casino customers to control their drugs habit in other not to hamper the chances of winning.
From  neutreul perspective, I also think this is a smart move if the state laws allows the cannabis consume; Someon addictive to gambling would surely be an easy victim to other kinds of addictions, and i can guess that casinos owners know very well about the habits of its clients so if some of them leave the casino to have a join then it becomes easier for them not to leave their sets and do whatever they want.
However, i don't expect cannabis addictive gamblers not to smoke weeds during their stay in the casinos (we all know how this happen in the spaces where consuming is forbidden by local laws) .

Indeed! why owners will let gamblers to quit their games just to take some joint if they can give them space and let them enjoy this habits and go back to play more, this is how  casino owners see this, knowing that in each gamblers they've  got inside the house, there's in need of taking time to smoke out.

By giving the space and let it do legally this action will bring more gamblers to use the platform, can't deny that everything is done for the sake of more money to fow around.
They wont do things that it wont benefit them so its just normal that we would say that this is for the sake for more profits. They do know on how to make their players feel comfortable
and cannabis is something that would do the job.Having some break time and smoking will really ease some stress and for sure if you do still have money in your pocket
then you would surely be continuing to play once your done in smoking and when the time you dont already have money in your pocket
then its time to go home. lol.  Cheesy
2758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis of the causes of bitcoin's fall that is minimized on: July 05, 2021, 06:30:39 PM
I see a lot of issues circulating on social media about the fall of bitcoin, some think this is a big investor control, some think this is a factor influencing negative issues, so bitcoin plummets.

what do you think about this, so we can all fix it?
if bitcoin falls because of negative issues, let's get rid of those issues, so that bitcoin bounces back.
Fix issues? How? This market cant really be controlled even if you are a whale or even government and we know that it is highly reactive to news which its normal that it would be making
significant movement or reaction and also minimizing dumps or completely get rid of it is non sense. You wont able to call it a market if those dumps or price falls isnt present.
It would be always having those kind of directions and instead of minding on getting rid of those issues then better let yourself know on how you do ride with those
issues for you to get in with cheaper coins that you might able to buy and wait for some recovery for you to make profits.
2759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: July 01, 2021, 11:28:22 PM
Cryptsy, MtGox, Cryptopia, Bitpoint etc. - some of these claimed to be hacked which I doubt.

I also don't understand why after being established as a reputable company, scams or alleged hacks will happen then they will get away without giving the right compensation to their users.

Even with the most famous companies today, we should just remember that always play safe as we don't know what will happen next.

Before they can use this as many clients doesn't know on what is the real happening between that incidents but now they can't fool people by using that excuse since this has been used for so many times and now everyone now that if  this excuse came out the exit scam attempt has been done so this must be a good indicators to us that never trust any platform even if they are old and doing such good business since maybe there will be time that they will do a the same exit scam scheme.
Most of those excuses are literally obvious that they are just making alibis or diversion just for them to looked innocent or didnt really make and exit scam this is why its really hard to believe on anytime
a platform or known merchant or any services that suddenly been hacked or simply those exit scams which the public could really be determined obviously because after all the things that we had known
or seen in the past then trust is something that you cant just give on 100%. Reputation can be built but it could really be ruined in an instant when intentions do suddenly changed up.
2760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth investing in coins you believe in? on: July 01, 2021, 10:32:06 PM
but how popular is the cashing out in cryptocurrencies? Everyone seems to be spamming to the moon to the moon, but most people seem to be selling.

They are spamming to the moon so they can sell their bags, these are early birds who accumulates coins in their early stage and their chance to make a profit is for them to shill their coins in high heavens, most of these coins are new coins, on your coins is it worth investing in a coin you believe, the answer is you really have too, you are not going to believe in a coin that you did not do research, if you believe it, show it by investing.
Most newbies do really get victimized on this one on where they do really believe that shilled coin would really go to moon.A classic way of scamming out newbies in the market which do mostly
believe that it would really happen and once they had poured in their funds then thats the time those guys will sell off their bags. When it comes to investing then dont just easily
believe on what you do have in mind, always make some analysis and indepth research in the project because if we do look at on how many projects or coins in the market
then its really hard to determine on which one would really be worth. So you do really need to be careful.
