So far I don't think a coin is that popular than bitcoin but last year or early this year there has been some pump at CMC website pushing some altcoins as the first over bitcoin. Yearn finance (YFI) that is now $32.865 was topping bitcoin then and that was a source of concern cryptocurrency ethusiast whether bitcoin was going down from then but bitcoin came back as top coin. Also around such time there was something looking like bug in cmc that another coin was placed above bitcoin if that was bug or whatnot but apart from all those, bitcoin has occupied the top position a longtime and don't see over take any time soon. I don't see any much concern towards its position in the market knowing that YFI is just a hype alt and even if this surpass the price of bitcoin still it will never replace the position of it at the top and also it will never replace the number two or the other listed lower down on it. And guess what happen now the hype end up and almost all of the people forget about YFI now. |

So I've migrated to FTX basically because my impression is that the counterparty risk is considerably less... ie SBF seems less sketchy than CZ. Not sure if my instincts are right about this, but I am willing to hear any opinions about the matter.
But I have to be honest, I MUCH prefer the Binance trading terminal layout, especially for margin trading. I have yet to do any margin trading on FTX, but it looks like you have to open an entirely new window to see your liquidation price. And what about the Repay feature? How does it work with FTX, do they just automatically repay when the trade hits your Take Profit?
Why choose one if you can trade on both platform? both of them is good exchange and for sure there are coins listed on FTX doesn't been listed on binance yet so maybe its good to explore on good markets. But if you like binance more than any other exchange then better stick on what you believe since its undeniable that binance is the top 1 exchange and we can really trust them in terms of technicalities and in security aspects. |

I don't know the motive of the OP here. But I do agree, we can't compare gold to most of these coins. Gold has established physical uses and a lot of industries are relying from it. Just take for example, the electronics industry. Gold is considered a vital part in most of their gadgets or equipment. Even if some coins are expensive than gold, but gold has significant usage that no coins can provide. Gold play a good role in the economy so its not comparable to any types of crypto and its just a crazy though for anyone that some crypto coin who's more expensive in price surpass it since in reality the use case really matter the most of it. And even bitcoin didn't defeat it yet since there's many things we need to look to and bitcoin need to prove more since adoption of it is not yet spreading like wild fire around the world. |

Actually it's quite normal for him to have to pay a fee to recover that . He messed up , apparently 10000$ isn't enough for him to make sure that he sent to the correct address. Theoretically most exchanges wouldn't even give him the chance to recover that , since recovering them would mean access to the private keys , which is a big no-no. So yeah , having to pay 500 $ to make up for a mistake he made himself , isn't exactly scamming behaviour . So do you think its fair for their costumer to be ask such huge amount for recovering their funds? if its ok to you then you are tolerating a corruption happening if that one is a legitimate support of that exchange since they can work with it legitimately without asking any amount to their costumers. But anyways hopefully OP can solve his issue since its not small amount which easily to forget then move on. |

It's okay, there's still a month for the announcement once everything they have to set has been already set. With all of the news and rumors about the possible date.
Then that would be by December and there's still enough time for them to market the match and for sure that it will be easier for them. Because there are a lot of fans that are waiting to watch some good boxing matches and this match of Nonito is included and worth the wait.

They will have to train for the fight, and that would likely require them for over a month to be very fit, so there's a little time left as in the next 2 days, it will already be November.
