If bitcoin goes to 35,000 why is it any better then your local house tripling in price and becoming an unavailable purchase for the younger generation in that neighbourhood. We might view a higher price as a positive but also I think it brings some negatives with it, because the market is both buyers and sellers.
I'm really more interested in the underlying market developing, I know the price is nice to see rise as a positive indicator but revenue and general population of bitcoin users rising is probably a great positive longer term
Assuming a stable purchasing power of USD, 35k BTC will be just as useful money as 5k BTC (except maybe that 35k BTC might be more liquid and less volatile). On the other hand, a house is something that you need. Although there is a certain degree of elasticity, you'll need a certain amount of square footage for you or your family to live in comfortably. If you can buy that house for 100k, you might be fine. If you need to buy that house for 1M because of the market, you might be shit out of luck, and your wellbeing will suffer for it. >_> still useful @ $100  lol |

Is Bittrex down for anyone else or is it just me currently? It always makes me so nervous when exchanges just go down..
Edit: Only had the problem for 10 or so minutes, seems to be fine now.
they will be going offline soon they have stolen/locked legit users accounts ~ early adopters who supported them from the beginning. :\ i hope U.S. authorities act before more people lose there bitcoins....zzz  ~ they definitely cannot be trusted with peoples' personal information. |

I wish spring would hurry up, both for the Toronto weather and for the price of Bitcoin.
I left for Mexico during a snowstorm in mid-March and arrived back last night to freezing temperatures. Winter is starting to get as tedious as 4-digit Bitcoin prices.

Finally got my temporary dentures 3 hours before hopping on the plane and they'll take some getting used to. They feel like I have a mouthful of plastic. Halfway though my flight back I had to take them out.
They look good when they're in though. I'd almost forgotten how to grin. I'm sure I'll get used to them fairly soon but I'll still have to wait a couple more weeks before I can start chewing with them.
By next year they'll just be an unpleasant memory when I have solid zirconia teeth anchored securely in my skull. Being a Bitcoin holder definitely teaches you patience with optimism.

What a great day for all Zclassic investors and holders. This coin maid about 100 % in the last 24 hours. This is very impressing at thes weak days. The coin supply is even very low. I will watch this coin from now on very close.
How can you even say this? You do realize this was trading 40x higher price just more than month ago? It was big scam on many investors where a lot loose money. A lot of money. Here is screenshot from coinmarketcap to help explain what I mean.  Don't bother explaining the trolls. This coin is a massive pump and dump and now used by Telegram/Discord mass pump and dumps, with some receiving huge profits and some receiving huge losses. I just wish Bittrex de-lists this thing from the exchange so that the scamming of it ends. ...and BTW, look at the last day of the graph you provided. There's an extremely small pump of which this guy was talking about. Bittrex only cares about trading volume, but I agree with you that they should delist it. i heard that electroneum community have applied for the listing of their coin on bittrex exchange but it took too much time. I am wonder that why some coins take that much time for adding to that exchange. Can we know the reasons. I am asking it to increase my knowledge so that before investing in any ICO I will be aware that this particular coin will be added to bittrex or any bigger exchange easily or not. Thanks.
If I'm not mistaken, they have an "extensive" way of verifying information regarding the coin itself and its developers. Though I don't know the exact list of documents needed to be submitted or any other criteria that need to be fulfilled by the team, Bittrex tend to communicate with the main devs of the coin and ask thems to make their names a publicly identifiable person. This somehow ensures that there's no anonymous developer that could make shady activities for the coin being listed in their exchange. Maybe this is due to the policies being laid out to them to protect their customers. Believe it or not, it is a very tedious process for both parties thus producing longer times of being added/listed. You have a very interesting case there with Bittrex but if they blocked you in submitting support tickets, try going public by posting in twitter and tagging those who are known to be related to running Bittrex day to day operation. Check the twitter accounts below and send them a DM or post in twitter then tag them. That should get their attention. Below are their Twitter accounts; xchangeRamiRichieI would like to update this post with latest news. I wasn't able to raise support ticket because account was blocked due to password reset. Guy from Bittrex support was very good and we managed to figure out what happened and how my coins went to Nigeria. It has nothing to do with verification, instead, email was compromised.
