2741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder versus Andy Ruiz Title Eliminator on: January 07, 2023, 10:33:30 AM
Deontay is the hardest hitter of this generation we have seen him knock guys with one punch whereas Ruiz needs a barrage of punches before he can knock his opponents down, it's easy to see who's going to win here a guy who can shut the light of any boxer out with one punch with the exception of Fury of course, or a guy who needs five to six punches to down his opponent, Wilde only need one punch and he can get it against the smaller Ruiz.
2742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: birthday of the scammer Vladislav Alimpiev (of the fraud company localbitcoins) on: January 07, 2023, 05:19:04 AM

Asking the costumer service to fix the problem hat no result. These scammers refuse to unlock my account.
What did they say? Please post PM/chat/mail logs of the customer support.

PS: From the localbitcoins website> "Account can get suspended automatically, if our system notices any unusual activities from the profile, or LocalBitcoin support team manually flags it in case they have a good reason to suspect fraud or account hack.".
Check if you're account is involved in any malicious activites.

Through costumer ticket.
They say my account is locked and can not be unlocked. When I ask why, they say they cant say anything, because its confidential.

You're so kind, imagine you've been scammed 1 BTC and yet you're still going to greet the guy who scammed you, if it's true that you have been scammed, then follow the correct format and tell us what happen and the amount that you've been scammed,

2743  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know what is the use of rewards, and since when rewards are given to m on: January 06, 2023, 11:23:15 PM
in this forum I see many people who have positions that have become legends, heroes, seniors, full members and so on. and I'm sure these people are people who have good insight, especially in the field of bitcoin and crypto and has good discussion skills and I'm sure that person is certainly not easy to have a position like that.
Looks can be deceiving don't trust the rank that's on the profile look at what members are posting there are lower rank members that are as good as higher rank, rank is just you achieved something as per requirement by the forum

Quote
before having a high position there must be obstacles and hurdles that must be overcome. but I want to ask everyone when the reward system is given to members who have good quality. and what are the benefits of the reward?
It used to be easy but with new merit requirements to rank up you have to contribute for a healthy flow of discussion it shows proof that you are good in many subjects around here and because you are good that's where merit will come and you will rank up.
2744  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Can you give a clean Chit to Binance after Knowing This... on: January 06, 2023, 10:43:54 PM
Big fish will always be a target now because of what happened to FTX and since Binance is unofficially the number one exchange they will cast doubts on its leader and target its reputation and look for any flaws in their operation, we have had enough of big issues in the industry that will likely affect the market, this one is also serious.
CZ knows that all eyes are always on his personality and his platform so he should make sure that he is transparent and be a gold standard in the exchange industry.
2745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How you can earn money from bitcointalk.org? on: January 06, 2023, 03:17:15 PM
Joining a campaign and always make sure to follow the rules and regulations here in this forum. When you successfully meet your daily qouta, you receive your rewards you deserve in just a week! So ready your basic knowledge on some topics and always make sure you post good quality content. You can also learn here about cryptocurrency while earning.

Which one campaign should a person join to start earning? Signature campaign with payment in Bitcoin? By the time person reaches acceptable rank, he would learn how to earn through investing, trading or in other crypto connected way. Token or coin based bounty campaigns right now looks more like a waste of time. In current reality, the best and only way to earn on a forum is selling your skills aka doing freelance.

Yeah, I agree if you have a skill you are not limited you can make as much as you want, and you are not bounded by rules, gone are the days of rewarding bounty campaigns in the altcoin sections, don't look for Bitcointalk mainly to make money if you happen to become part of a bounty campaign be thankful but do not stop there, you have to learn more, contribute more and enhance your skill there are very few campaigns here that lasted for months or years, glad to be part of one.
Being part of the campaign is a responsibility, a responsibility that you can provide what is being asked of you as a promoter so its not only about making money, there's responsibility behind it.
2746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Online Gaming Tournaments for Gamblers on: January 06, 2023, 12:46:53 PM
Website:https://excess.ga/

Excess.ga It is decentralized game running on the WAX Blockchain

This game uses a completely random system in the prize based on the RNG smart contract

Game is easy to understand

You can make money with your own luck.
Like all the others here this should be moved to the altcoins section, there is a niche for this kind of platform because many altcoins investors are also gamers, one example of this are Axie Infinity and DPET

Quote
I am open to any questions about Excess.ga and WAX Cloud Wallet so please, feel free to post
Like all the others play to earn platforms, you should also create a video for this as an explainer its much easier to understand although reading how it works makes me think that it's really an easy game, a video explainer of the actual game will get you more players after they watch the video explainer.
2747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 06, 2023, 07:07:51 AM
I have reuploaded all the images OP posted so we can see the whole picture of the conversation, the whole scenario has become your words against his words because of the absence of clear evidence because Rollbit like all the other casino cannot just post their tracking system for future exploit by cheaters but at least Rollbit posted in this thread so we can get their side of the story.

2748  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Roadmap] Making the first buck in crypto? on: January 05, 2023, 11:58:14 PM

However, when it comes to making the first buck with crypto,  I haven't settled on any one method. I have heard people trade, hodl, and do all sorts of other things yet, none seems to be the kind of thing you can do to make a living.
If you cannot make out of it while others can then its not for you

Quote
Well, what I mean is, none of them seem to provide the potential of freeing you from 9-5. Obviously, there are many things that I might not be seeing. So, this is the main point of this post.
You cannot see it because you do not have the skill yet of the others who are making money here, check your interest first, and don't force yourself to make money here, because you can't

Quote
What would you recommend is the most secure way to make money in this world of crypto/blockchain, web3?
There is no secure way to make money in this world of Crypto its a fantasy others preached.

Quote
Also, what are some of the things that I should learn first perhaps to build up a foundation? some sort of roadmap.
Because I sometimes get confused in all this and have a hard time connecting the dots. Having a roadmap of some sort would allow me at least to understand that it is not something that I need to learn but this is what I was supposed to already know. you know, as if I was learning a new programming language.
Check your interest and ask what can you bring to the table, the industry is huge and there's always demand for almost everything if you're a writer then bring it here if you're a designer then show us some of your works for your potential clients.
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with PSC on: January 05, 2023, 10:57:28 PM
First time I read about this Paysafecard I checked the internet for casinos that accept Paysafecard and I got these results
casinos that have an announcement here are not on the list be sure to check the reputation of these casinos if you want to play here and use Paysafecard.

Casinos Accepting PaySafeCard
2750  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcointalk is the best forum on: January 05, 2023, 03:16:30 PM
Bitcointalk has been active for over a decade and is still getting better everyday
They are the best forum when it comes to Cryptocurrency and Blockchain but there are other popular forums that are popular and still existed before Bitcoin was created, some of these are Reddit, 4chan, Quora, and many more

Quote
So my advice for we Newbies is start thinking of a way of improving this forum first before earning.

You can do both by helping this forum to improve and at the same time make money, if you are a designer or a writer you can offer a service, you need not rank high to offer your service, and you can start as a newbie while working your way to rank.
2751  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 05, 2023, 01:58:22 PM
You're still young at 47 to do anything and invest in anything, especially Bitcoin, please age is just a number age is the least issue when it comes to investing in Cryptocurrency, and to motivate you further my neighbor who's already 75 years old invested a big portion of his wealth to Bitcoin and planning to make it as part of his inheritance, because he believes Bitcoin will eventually reach $1 million in the future and he wants his family to reap the rewards in the future.
2752  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM rollbit $737.00 on: January 05, 2023, 12:28:32 PM
Rollbit support are very sure that you have multiple accounts which are permanently banned, the rules are strict about opening multiple accounts especially when you are suspended for any reason. Why didn’t you ask for what proves that Rollbit know surely you are using multiple accounts, is it the same IP address or the same documents you submitted for confirmation. If it was the IP address i don’t think they would ask you for KYC verification but who knows.
There’s much missing informations from you so i hope Rollbit see your topic and clarify things more and if it’s confirmed that you are using multiple accounts that’s your fault.

Rollbit can deny your withdrawal even if it's $1 only, it is not the sum but the action of the player, Casinos don't want their name here in scam accusations but an offense is an offense if you want to have a case then better post the whole screenshots, there's something on those screenshots that did not tell the whole picture, Rolbit can post the whole screenshot and if it is in their favor your accusation will be busted, so if you want to show more show it now and don't hide anything with your incomplete screenshot.
2753  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 04, 2023, 11:41:52 PM
I am still waiting for the « video call » which seems to never happen and I have asked the support to clarify what I am accused of doing exactly. Will revert back when I get an answer

This is still an open accusation and still an issue, it's on them not on you, and this will remain a reference to Rollbit having bad support.
I'm sure they are busy because Rollbit is not a new and small casino they have built their name here already and an accusation like this will have an impact, I'm sure they will reach out and will try to resolve this issue.
2754  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prepaid visa card, no kyc on: January 04, 2023, 10:58:08 PM
Things are looking good for this project they started on the right foot by having a good domain name and they are funded by companies on their homepage
Quote
We've raised ~2.1M with about 21% coming from awesome members of the Bitcoin Community.
The only thing missing is marketing and reaching out to the Cryptocurrency community I expect them go full blast when the market is steady, unlike those ICO we are seeing in the altcoin section their team is transparent on who they are and they have the expertise behind them.
2755  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hackers steal $8 million from users running trojanized BitKeep apps on: January 04, 2023, 12:14:11 PM
I never heard of this wallet before but I guess this is another inside job which is why I don't use a random wallet that I never heard. And look play store or apple store they always verify the app if it's from a real developer and the bad thing is how the hacker has control of their user's wallet. It means your coins/token there is not private and they also have full control of your wallet what is the purpose of their mnemonic phrase backup if they can see and control your wallet? It is more likely a centralized wallet.

If you are one of the users of this wallet better switch to another wallet that is known and open source or better buy a hardware wallet.

The inside job is just a speculation, they have the plan to refund those users and also asked Binance to freeze the accounts of those hackers after they traced it, they should extend their investigation on where did those users download the wallet, I'm sure after this some users will transfer their wallet to another more secured custodial wallets, a new custodial wallet with issues like this will have their reputation crumble because its the second time it happens.
Users will still forgive them if this is the first time.
2756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 06:55:47 AM
Free alcoholic drinks, ease of withdrawal machines and ease of which to fund betting/gambling site wallets are serious contributory factors to addictive gambling.

I think there's nothing more serious than beginner's luck I have a few friends that experienced this and they actually believe that they can really make money from gambling and they have luck in gambling, they keep this belief and mindset for so long until they realized that they are already losing a lot of money and time and they are hanging on the false hope that they are lucky and they can make money from gambling, beginner's luck could become a scourge on people who started to gamble.
2757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 03, 2023, 02:01:28 PM
I'm a lone bettor but I do check out other people's opinions this is to verify that I made the right decision or I have to correct something, there's nothing wrong with being a part of a team or group from telegram of a Facebook group, there are sports that you are knowledgeable and there are sports that you need people's help to bring you a good result, sports betting analysis is a learning process and there are times you need other people's guidance and help.
2758  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 03, 2023, 11:15:58 AM
They do use the word manipulation twice. So that’s how I understood it. And other time say « exploiting a vulnerability », so which is it?
That is why this is interesting we don't know how it becomes manipulation, we all know exploiting a vulnerability and we have players guilty of that, but these are two different words with two different meanings so we have to hear their side because it's something new to our ears,

This is the latest update after posting here they suddenly want to review my case and have a video call (lol?) :
https://pasteboard.co/byaWjk3WufhF.jpg

Been waiting for more than 48hours though since the first message.
Since they are the ones who offered it better wait to have it scheduled, just be ready for what's to come, there could be some surprises coming.
2759  Economy / Reputation / Re: It sucks that 1xbit still runs on: January 03, 2023, 01:32:25 AM
We are in to 2023 now and 1xbit is still showing no signs of going away any time soon. I wonder what sort of impact they will have in this forum and beyond in 2023. They will most probably run some sort if signature campaign throughout the year (and in some cases maybe even multiple campaigns) that will cause friction between members. As for the number of accusations being made against them, will remain stable, will they increase or will they decrease?

They will continue to run campaigns, multiple campaigns they already build an army of shills and promoters just waiting for them to launch their campaign, these are people who value money more than their reputation here in Bitcointalk, they cannot get in other campaigns, so they become dedicated to promoting 1XBIT campaigns, right now all the campaign are paused but expect them to kick their campaign anytime soon.
This 2023 we will have more of 1XBIT they still need this forum to promote their platform.
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 11:45:27 PM
I voted mix on my gambling activity, sports betting is profitable if you know the sports very well, and playing on a luck-based is exciting and thrilling and more entertaining of course you can also win money if you're lucky,  so if you're gambling it's good to have a combination of both, both have an element of luck, in sports betting you can't never be so sure sometimes upsets happen or things didn't go your way because of miscalculations.
