2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: November 01, 2020, 03:13:28 PM
I just hope that no officer will get that experience in the future, and if there is another raid like that, they need to secure before it happens again. But I think that accident happens coincidentally, and they don't imagine if that can happen. Maybe the police need to prepare with everything necessary and always take care of themselves. I can not imagine if the blade is attached to their body.

Everytime that the police are going to a mission or somewhere in order to raid a cockpit area/ gambling area or some drugs related mission, they are offering their lives and they already know that maybe after the mission there are some buddies from there team might get killed accidentally and I believe that they are already aware of it and they are prepared of what ever might happens on their missions, the thing was just they need to be more prepared when they are going to a deadly missions so that there will be no cases like this will happen again.
2745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 01, 2020, 02:53:15 PM
This is just probably saying that there will be some extra fees to be simple as that. Because of the online casino will be regulated and will be supported by the local government of yours then probably there will be a tax so that there will be benefits to the government, am I right? Then if that's the case then there will be extra fees for that to support the tax that has been need to pay by the online casinos.
As a player this will be just a burden because there will be an extra fees for playing but on the other side it will be also a good because as of now many people are bored and playing online casinos in order for them to support there boredom and if it regulated by the government meaning this is already legal.
2746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 31, 2020, 07:04:36 PM
2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly" Smiley
Just think about it, Mr. Warren Buffet just said it sarcastically but in that manner the real people who are trusting and know what cryptocurrency nor the bitcoin is back then knows that Bitcoin will not end up badly and we are all witness on the bull run of this bitcoin way back 2017, so we are already knowledgeable about what is this bitcoin and we already know that this bitcoin will not end badly just what Mr. Warren Buffet says.
2747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While we're on Halloween, Remember this date! on: October 31, 2020, 06:23:36 PM
I don't think so that the people will have the interest to read the whitepapers even though Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto post it in the date of October 31st and based on my experience it is a holidays where many people are celebrating the all soul's and all saint's day that time, and I don't think there will be an effect if the people will read the whitepaper because I guess they also don't know that this project might go long term. That's probably the mindset of Satoshi Nakamoto while doing this.
2748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 30, 2020, 01:27:30 PM
Gambling always comes with a 50/50 chance and as such, your acquired risk and wager determines what your estimated win would be but then, increased BTC price is a good thing for betting.
The increasing of BTC price is really a big factor that affects my gameplay, because whenever the price of bitcoin is increasing then the gas or the fees of transferring or depositing the btc to the gambling website is also increasing. In that case if you wager a huge amount of bitcoin or btc then probably the high percentage of chance you may win but on the other hand there is also a percentage that you may lose.
2749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 12:42:35 PM
I've also heard and watch that news from the Philippines and that's normal in the cockpit zone because if you know what is the situation inside the cockpit area then probably you also know how the bet game is occurring on it aside from this what so called "Tari" which is a dangerous and sharp object which is putting to the chicken in order to fight and kill the opposite chicken to win the bet game.
I believe that it is not just a "tari" but there is also a illegal chemical that has been put in the sharp object and that's why it kills people.

2751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legit or not on: October 15, 2020, 02:40:32 PM
Its time to hear if bitcoin is legit or not!!
Someone with good and legit reputation need say here if bitcoin is secure safe and legit!!

We Trust USA dollar because its Federal reserve are legit guys!!

So is bitcoin good or not?

Someone like donald Trump should if its legit
I'd not say the Bitcoin is 100% safe but I can assure you it is legit. I think there are several reputable people who have already claimed Bitcoin was legit and as a matter of fact, they've probably been procuring worth millions of it.  Besides, I don't think people like Donald Trump or other members of the government will claim it as legit and safe because it seems a threat to them, the fact that they don't have the power to manipulate this decentralized currency. So if I were you, you don't need to follow someone's opinion especially if they have no experience any of it, regards Bitcoin or Crypto.
2752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: October 14, 2020, 10:39:34 AM
There are a lot of crypto projects out there and those are all considered altcoins. I had two options in choosing projects, one is intended for holding long term and the other is for having less transaction. Top of my priorities are Bitcoin and Ethereum these days, I had already in my portfolio. There's nothing wrong if you hold them all from the top 10 altcoins in CMC, they are all have potential in holding for the long term.

Each crypto coin has different functions and also the pros and cons. I will not choose only one of them instead of using them on their reliable usage.
Likewise, I highly prioritize the coins that are listed on the top such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. I am not the kind of person who takes too much risk because if we will compare other altcoins to Bitcoin, altcoins would have pretty much more risk the fact that they are more volatile. Well honestly, it will depend on how much risk you will take though if you are into quick profit then staking on altcoins would be perfect for you.
2753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and taxes buying goods and items with btc tax free on: October 13, 2020, 02:00:12 PM
so how about taxes you have to pay from btc ?

and is buying goods and items with btc is to way to cash out your crypto tax free?

Fortunately, even though my country was crypto-friendly our government still not impose any regulations upon using it. Hence, I am not paying any taxes for using it and I think that is a good thing for me.
I only pay taxes if I converted it into fiat and buy some stuff. I also wonder how our government cannot think of something to get benefit out from it.
2754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet do you think is the best? on: October 12, 2020, 02:52:30 PM
For my almost 3 years in this industry, the wallet I have been using was MEW for ERC-20 tokens and so far I haven't encountered any issue from using it.
For the Bitcoin wallet, I used a lot of wallets though because I am the type of person who usually diversifies my coins for better security. But my favorite among them was Electrum. I haven't encountered any problems here nor receiving any negative feedback. It can also create multiple addresses you if you don't want to be tracked down.
2755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency for Trading on: October 12, 2020, 02:16:37 PM
Another important reason for the same is the stocks which weren't that supportive to make some passive income. During the lockdown even the stocks crashed, only the cryptocurrency market stood strong. With the lockdown the city has topped third position in terms of cryptocurrency users and trading volume. Probably this widespread could've happened in the global market too.

Source : timesofindia
And that is a good thing with the crypto market. It is decentralized. The value was based on demand and supply, unlike the stock market. And because of lockdown this really hit hard the stock market due to those companies who have no choice but to halt for the meantime. On the other hand, Crypto gained investors because there's a possibility that stock investors move on this market.
2756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 09, 2020, 02:48:33 PM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions even when it faster and easier, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human, Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. Now how come we make bitcoin come to people.
Personally, I don't consider using Bitcoin in my daily transaction either not because I have negative thoughts on it just like other people but I just don't think it would be a good idea to use it as a currency. For me, I consider it as an asset just like gold, I prefer it hold rather than use it for commodities. Anyway, I think one of the reasons why they avoid it is because this has been used in illegal activities that is why it gained so much negative feedback. For Bitcoin to be accepted by people their government must be the one who should introduce it  to them because several countries are still against it that is why they are afraid of using it.
2757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 08, 2020, 11:17:47 AM
It is true that the year 2017 was the best but I don't think we can call it "Golden Year of Crypto" as we only at the beginning. Perhaps, we can probably call it "One of the best Year" because Crypto is still going, we never knew how this innovation will go, there's even a chance that it will set a new ATH. So basically, Crypto is vague, we cannot predict how this will go, it still expanding and growing more bigger. It is more like it has no peak that is why there's no golden year at least for me though.
2758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yeees it's happening on: October 08, 2020, 10:36:30 AM
Do you think that the adoption is really happening? I've seen this picture, a convenience store literally selling bitcoin through an ATM, I know it isn't new at all but this proves the actuality of innovation, something that we are dreaming of since we knew bitcoin. Hail the King! I still haven't tried it yet, I'm still wondering how complex it is.
As we go further, the number of Bitcoin machine is gradually increasing, and here is an interesting fact: According to a Norwegian financial company, the number of Bitcoin atm has surged 87% in the past year. Right now the United States has the leading number of Bitcoin ATM across the world, with more than 7,800 BTMs. Unfortunately, I haven't tried or seen any BTMS right now. Hoping I could use it soon.
2759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 07, 2020, 10:30:28 AM
Bitcoin is a lot different from Ponzi. Ponzi produces profit through invites. Ponzi investors relies on the new requite which is far different from Bitcoin because it can be earned through a lot of ways. You can earn through the crypto market or can be mined. No one is harmed through earning Bitcoin, unlike Ponzi investment.
2760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year on: October 05, 2020, 02:28:46 PM
I’m just genuinely curious to see the sentiment amongst bitcointalk posters. Please no trolling which includes being overly bearish or bullish. Just vote for what you genuinely think, no agendas.

Personally, I’m thinking option 4 ($12,001 - $14,000).

It’ll be interesting to see the results.
I also think that Bitcoin would be around $12k-$14k. I choose this because I based on the current price we have not, and it is more likey hovering around $10k but still, there are 2 months left.
Perhaps we could somehow predict the price of Bitcoin when we enter the last of this year. Honestly, I have no idea what price Bitcoin will hover with that day but for the I don't want to be a pessimist and too much, optimist that is why I only choose in a midway.
