1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: April 2024 recorded the lowest amount lost to hack. on: May 01, 2024, 11:46:23 AM
I don't know if this is because people have learned or there's a big crackdown in hackers or something like that but it's a welcome that this is the case, I guess we would see less and less innocent people getting affected by these hacks. I do hope though that coupled with this good news, we see the people that became victims of this attack get the reparations and justice that they deserve, there's no way that it's going to be fair for everyone that they're going to be set aside. I guess we just have to hope for more things and that we should continue preaching vigilance to the crypto community so newbies won't become a victim.

Have you checked the bonus page under your account, as my experience when I received free bet, I need to activate it under my account but since I have never participated in this prediction contest so I'm not sure how they credit the free bet into winner's account. If you have checked and you have not found it under the bonus page, maybe there is a delay on the free bet distribution.
Checked it and no there's nothing there, only the bonuses when you do your 1st deposit, 2nd deposit and so on, that's all there's in it. I would check it later as I'm not on my computer, thanks for giving me other possibilities. I guess there's a delay but I did have some delay in my part too since I've got myself have a hard time putting an initial deposit since the transaction fees were outrageous at that time.

Cheesy
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: May 01, 2024, 06:02:25 AM
Usually that's not where my mind goes whenever I gamble, I like the idea that most of the time that I would be gambling without worrying where I would get my next food, that's how I want to do things though, if I become that desperate I hope that I've got someone on my side to tell me that I'm doing too much and that I need to stop it. When you do this, I see it as a pitfall that would lead you to more misery that would lead you to nothing but ruin, it's probably a good idea to just hold on to that last amount of money you've got and get something for it that would benefit you more than take anything away from you. Some might think that trying to gamble that money away might lead them to something but that's not the truth, it's not going to be those stories that their last dollar turned into millions, you're going to be disappointed.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football/Soccer Winning Strategy on: May 01, 2024, 05:09:22 AM
That actually does make sense about the first team to score is the likely winner of the game but I'm kind of on the fence with this one because I want to make sure that this is true because there's the factor of comebacks and underdogs taking the wins, it's a devastating thing to jump in with this really good advice if you don't know what you're talking about. I might've just found a new thing to do, watching matches and seeing if this is true to some level, might not post my result though as I'm not yet sure if this will work. Most of the time that I do bets, I almost always go for the lowest odds since they're most likely to win, safe gaming has been my thing so I'm not keen on trying something new.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: May 01, 2024, 04:25:38 AM
Not really, whatever they say is a distraction to the fun that I'm getting out of gambling not to mention that when I get the win that's significant, I'm 100% sure that they're the ones that will come back to me and try to ask for some part of the wins or something like that, the big wins don't happen that often but I've done my observation that in those times that I did, they're in there with their palms open asking for alms, it's a really funny feeling that they do this though, the one's who hate on you are the ones that will try to benefit the most from your success. Don't be too hard of hearing about people who says something about your gambling habits though, some of them are right because addicts don't see themselves getting addicted unless someone states it to them to make them realize things.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: May 01, 2024, 03:01:25 AM
Agreed, gamblers need to change their mindset to win more eventually gambling addiction will leave gamblers in the dark from which they will not be able to recover easily. Once you lose in gambling you have to try to prevent yourself from turning the loss into a win which will lead to losses. Due to this mistake of gamblers they cannot win. Don't be in a hurry to do all the work you have to move forward with a steady mind for gambling.
As if that's an easy thing to do, you got to remember that if someone doesn't want to change, no matter how much you want to say you do want to change, they're never going to change and it's the sad thing about this, if there's no will for that person to change for the better, you will end up with nothing but groveling and complaining from them. It's easy to say that with a change in your mindset that you'd be able to do all of it but the reality is that you're battling against something that gives you pleasure and you are an addict and you're going to have a hard time letting go of that pleasure giving activity, if you do try it for yourself and see that you get depressed, you'd understand why it's difficult to rehabilitate.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does meta education actually mean? on: April 30, 2024, 05:06:49 PM
I'm a little bit old fashioned when it comes to education so I have to say that I do really like the idea that it should be done with a physical contact with other children, you don't want to grow a kid that's a loner and would only talk when they're being talked to, it's not a good idea to disconnect them physically but connect them electronically, studies have shown that early technology like phones and tablets can cause impairments to the development of a child so even if the intentions seem to look good, you got to remember that they said the same thing about the Internet, that the information here is true and can't be lies but now we still got the trolls and the fake news peddlers even with all the knowledge in the world, we still have to look out for those people my point here is that we might see it now as a good thing but in the long-run, it's what's going to ruin you.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i earn from NFTs and Game on: April 30, 2024, 04:32:36 PM
That depends, because where there's money, there's also people that will try and dupe other people and take that opportunity to steal from others, it's been the game for a long time and I don't think that you would want the short end of the stick on that one. Best thing to do when you go for this risky thing which are NFT games or NFTs, do your due diligence and do the research, probably for the best that you're going to be able to know a thing or two about the program that you're getting into right? Learn about the people behind the game or the NFTs, some of them don't want to do it for the sake of doing it, most of them want to make money from suckers who don't do their research.

First of all, no, earning nfts isn't anything cool. 2nd, it's not unique, literally any NFT game advertises that they have a player-driven economy but they fail to provide failsafe for instances where the game economy could potentially slide down one-sidedly that it'd have no worth or value anymore.

Honestly think it's just another sht game that couldn't be released in the competitive market so they released it as an nft to have some chance lol.
I wouldn't agree with that though, I think earning from it is somewhat cool because you sold a jpeg to someone that basically doesn't know any better and they think that there's a value in it. I think the part where you convince others that it's a good investment and sell it to them is the cool part, you get to be the opportunist even though you got duped too for buying that NFT. Totally agree with your assessment about the game though, most likely that they're generic assets and frameworked the same as any other stanky NFT games out there that's designed to get your money to their pocket.
13  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan Request on: April 29, 2024, 03:02:06 AM
Requesting a loan of 0.0005 btc directly sent to my CoinRoyale account, will pay in ETH because I don't have a bitcoin in my Electrum wallet and the fees are so outrageous. I don't know if this is the right format so correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't see any interest rate, repayment date, and of course collateral... Roll Eyes
So sorry, I didn't add it, it's my first doing loan requests.

It seems that you need more than one "doing" to understand how loans work because there is still no collateral. And no collateral = no loan.
Btw, fees are not huge anymore. Cool
I'll collateral 0.02 ETH.

If you want, you can just send ETH here and put your Coinroyale BTC address as an output. You will receive your BTC in exchange of a 0.5% fee: https://exch.cx/?from_currency=ETH&to_currency=BTC&from_amount=&to_address=&calc=1&&aggregation=any

Or on the forum, you can maybe ask in Currency exchange.

But in any case you will have to pay the BTC transaction fee, nobody will pay it for you.
If the transaction is the issue, as long as it's not a lot then I won't mind adding that to my payment for the loan.

Interest: 5% or whatever is preferable to you
Payment due: ASAP that I receive the 0.0005 btc in my CoinRoyale account.

Resolved 😁

18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the least risky gambling game at online casinos? on: April 27, 2024, 06:53:09 AM
For me it would be blackjack, it's against you versus the odds depending on how many deck of cards you're playing, you'd be lucky to play in a single deck blackjack as that's the one that's going to give you the most chances of winning, it's a rare sight to behold though because casinos are trying to win against card counting players that seem to be more rampant as the technology of this day and age continues to upgrade and get more sophisticated, that's why a lot of people that are playing it online or offline and they're winning the game more than they should are escorted out of the premises or banned from the casino depending how severe the wins that you've got that they don't want you to bleed their money anymore.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are Nassim Taleb's ideas useful in gambling? on: April 27, 2024, 05:16:07 AM
There's no way a gambler will have full control of the gambling outcome. However there are strategies which could at least increase your chances of winning; card counting and card predictjon on card games and making your own analysis with a fighter or sports team. These things won't make winning certain but at least you'd have a better result. The discussion questions whether Nasim's idea is useful in gambling. With that, then I'd say yes. Most of his contents are about risk management which is in the first place beneficial to a gambler especially ones who eaily gets frustrated and greedy. One way to come up with profit is to lessen your loss. Maybe it just depends on how a gambler would handle things on his own. Aiming to win is a normal thing but having that needed discipline is on another level in this industry.
You'd be surprised with how many people that aren't thinking that and are thinking otherwise, I guess some people just really want to do something about how they gamble that they find it hard to believe that they can't control the outcome so they lie to themselves so they have the ability to ease their worries about this kind of things. It's really difficult to lessen the losses though, it comes with the game after all, the losses and the only way that I can think of that is if you play less or you do it the hard way and gamble and hope that you can win more but that's close to impossible.
20  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance being banned in the Philippines in a few days on: April 27, 2024, 01:46:26 AM
