I think this is too much change at once.
There are too many new faces as DTs, this will become a mess, there will be too much retaliation between people, too many tags given without thinking.
Look at this discussion. The fact that everyone's list is public brings a lot of drama.
But I suspect this is what Theymos wanted.
I think the criterias should be much more selective.
DT1s :
-Should have earned at least 750 merits (number to raise with time)
-Should have an activity of at least 800
-Should be trusted by one of the admins
DT2s :
-Should have earned at least 500 merits
-Should have an activity of at least 800 as well (no newbies please, they have no idea of the responsibility this is)
-Sould be trusted by at least 2 DT1s
I understand that Theymos wants the merit criteria to be taken into account and I agree with that but the rest is way too subjective. The DTs should be established members who know this place and will take their job seriously, not new guys who will be on a power trip and tag everyone on sight.

They lied me 3 times. The trader said he will send me the funds after i pay 20% commission. I paid 20% - he didnt send the funds explaining professional terminlogy. He put back my paid 20% funds back to trades. He said the cycle will be completed on 15th, he will send the funds. Then on 15th, again he asked to pay 15% commission, about which it is nowhere mentioned in website nor did he explain me. No company takes commission BEFOREHAND. The well reputed company deduct the commission and send pay the rest of funds. Anyways, after heated conversation with the traders of this company, they agreed to get 5% of 15% commission and assured me that they will snd funds. I paid 5%, then again they refused to send me funds. Now they are saying i ahve to pay the rest 10%. They are asking more and more and more and sending me nothing. There are enough scammers (and close friends of scammers) on DT1 that have excluded OgN, and as a result his trust ratings do not show up by default.
I would note that TMAN, owlcatz and lauda were implicated in an extortion scheme in 2017, all of which are now on DT1.
Deal with it, Quickscammer. That shit is all an old waste of time. Nobody was extorted and you just keep up with the lies/bullshit... |

No i havnt . Because i am not that kind of guy to need it or doing something like this ! As i said will take a look at and doing some changes maybe ! I agree - that is why I said "to the outside world". My guess was that you weren't fully understanding how a trust list works and what it should be used for. Currently, you have 4 people on your trust list who have empty trust lists and have only left one positive feedback, which was to you. You can't really argue that putting them on DT2 has another purpose other then increasing your own trust score at the moment. It's perfectly fine to add people who have left you positive trust to your trust list, but putting them on DT2 should have some other purpose other than increasing your own trust. For example, I added Avirunes to my trust list. They left me positive feedback, but they've also done a lot of helpful investigation work and have left many accurate trust feedbacks to others. Note: This is just my opinion on what DT1 should be doing/general ethics. Others may disagree, and AFAIK there is no official forum policy.I agree with you 100%. It's simply about good ethics and good morals above all, IMO.  |
