2761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: May 31, 2017, 09:29:32 PM
The good thing about Bitcoin gambling is that most teenagers won't be able to buy Bitcoin on an exchange or anything.  So if they gamble, it would have to be with money that they had earned, so there's little danger of it being really bad for their family.
They getting there money from their parents or they stelling it hidenly from parents most of teenagers nowadays if they addicted to gamble they learning how to steal money from there prents and buy bitcoin.it may wreck there life soon

Yeah that is the sad truth when teenagers learned and get hooked to gambling.  They will steak even from their parents.  Then when they do not get enough, they will steal from other people.  Since they are young, they have a little resistance from urge of gambling and may commit theft if they do not have money.
i think it is very difficult to prevent teenagers from playing gambling, and specially when they are playing online gambling, because still there is no such mechanism through which we can prevent teenagers from playing online gambling, the only way through which they can be prevent from gambling that the online gambling site are totally banned, and i think it is not such an easy job, specially in such are where gambling s legal.

Most gambling websites actually require some verification, like an ID or something
And some minors don't even own credit cards to deposit with etc.

With bitcoin, I believe
If you can earn your own bitcoin, then you should be able to gamble with it too Cheesy

Why wouldn't you post the bets you're making?

You can hit me up, I'm up for this, I'll confirm the bets you make Smiley
2763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: May 31, 2017, 08:59:05 PM
Yes it's not easy. Although Gambling doesn't seem like the regular addictions like Cigarettes and drugs etc... but it's a heavy physiological addiction and the need for it for some might be the same like cigarettes to others.. You would need serious effort and if possible, some friends help and social activity to leave it.
It will never be an easy habit to give up because gambling addiction is a drug on its own... and stopping this
will require determination and self displine as it can never be fought by our friends or family, its our own battle to fight to put ourselves on the right track.

I think it should be it can be fought with the help of our friends and family even though it's our battle, they will be a big help to us. No man can stand alone by himself if he is a complete gambling addict. Giving up alone will not going to help you because that's why you are addicted, you got it alone and you need some back up on it to make it easy.

Iron clad willpower is needed, only a few can acquire this on their own.
If you know an addict, help him.

Also, an idea is to replace the addiction with virtual gambling (without real money) Cheesy
2764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: May 31, 2017, 08:19:10 PM
I am always going for sport betting because it gives me a feel of secure more that casino games. Maybe it is false secure feeling, but when you have to decide to place bet on team or player, you can have some kind of knowledge about them (team or player). In casino games everything is pure luck.

That is kind of true, but poker requires a lot of skills along with luck too.

So, I googled a lot if somehow I could get a loan or something, seems impossible as I'm a student  Cheesy

At 23rd June we're starting to work at a local McDonalds, which pays around 800$/month

I'm sorry to ask but isn't this the solution to your problem? These loan sharks usually require proof that you have steady income and you can handle your monthly loan payments. Well it seems to me you'll be perfectly able to do so. Don't you think you should try to reapply for a loan in a month or so?

I'm asking also cause I might soon find myself in such a situation and I want to get a better picture about what to expect from the banks. Do they have something against students in personal, even if the student has a job?

I will work over a student contract so I don't believe it will have any effect on getting a ~37k loan.
2766  Other / Off-topic / Making an apartment coin on: May 31, 2017, 04:05:46 PM
Basically, I'm having this idea

I'm currently a student in Pula (Croatia) and I'm living with my girlfriend where our rent is at ~300$
I'v noticed an apartment loan at a bank for 15 years would be at ~300$/month, literally the same amount
So I tried to talk my parents into buying an apartment instead of sending me money to live in one
No way, they always want to have something to rely upon
Girlfriend tried the same thing, but her parents already bought an apartment fr her brother in Zagreb

I find it really idiotic to waste 3600$ a year into dust when I can literally buy an apartment for the same price!
During the season (shore city) apartments like these rent out for a minimum of 40$/night, the whole yearly rate would pay itself during the season (if we weren't there  Cheesy).

So, I googled a lot if somehow I could get a loan or something, seems impossible as I'm a student  Cheesy

Apartments like that go for around 37 000$ or so.
My idea was making a POS Coin with around 40 000 premine and 1% Year stake.
Each coin would sell for 1$, when they are sold I would buy the apartment and each month I'd spend as much as I can to buy back the coins from the market.
Each coin would be bought back at 1.4$ or so.

At 23rd June we're starting to work at a local McDonalds, which pays around 800$/month, from my signature campaign I get around 600$ each month + earning money on other ways like leading signature campaigns, escrowing etc. grants me some at least 400$ or so each month too.

I'd make videos etc. to prove my actual identity and I'd scan my ID to the most trusted members of the community (won't post online because of identity theft).

I wouldn't mind signing a contract with someone if he was willing to travel too.

Do you believe such an endeavour could result in collecting the total to purchasea ~37k apartment?
I'm just wondering about your opinions.

Thanks for reading  Cheesy

I was always wondering which is a bigger gambling resort Macau or Las Vegas

LV is definitely more popular, but Macau isn't far either.

I haven't been there  Cry
2768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is winning at Sports betting actually possible ? on: May 31, 2017, 01:52:12 PM
Winnings were awesome for quite some time, and then we started failing
I just halted the campaign, didn't want my followers to lose money Cheesy
It is true that it is not possible to retain the winning momentum all the time, when it comes to gambling and sports bet, sometimes you win and all of your predictions are true but on the other day you might have an off day,so be careful while gambling and have a control over your bank roll, never wage everything you got  .
All you have to do is to study continuously because winning is sports betting is not easy although it is possible, at first my impression it was easy because I definitely know the game that I gamble but experience tells me that it is not easy as what I thought it should be.
Maybe I am not that skilled to win in gambling but I believe anyone can be skilled enough to win if they pursue what they have started.

I quoted this but I'm replying to everyone who quoted me

What I'm saying it's hard to differ if a tipster is ahead of the bookies with his investigation or he's on a lucky streak
The second one will mostly be the option

Finding someone who can beat the bookies will be extremly hard
2769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you feel when win in gambling? on: May 31, 2017, 01:46:58 PM
How the hell would I feel when I win, happy ofcourse  Cheesy

The intensity of happiness depends on the odds and amount ofcourse, I won't be very happy if I bet 0.001BTC at a 1.2x bet, but if I win a x100 bet, I'll be happy as hell  Cheesy

Full TOR integration here >>

https://github.com/TorCoinProject/torcoin/tree/tor

Windows and MacOS wallets aren't yet TOR integrated but will be shortly.

We finally got one step forward the most reasonable outcome. The founder just admitted that the Windows and MacOS wallets are not Tor-integrated YET  Grin.
Thank you "TheTorcoin".

Again, "TheTorcoin", can you please tell us if you plan to hire some devs in order to get these 2 remaining wallets integrated one time for all ? (supposing the Linux wallet is REALLY Tor-integrated).
When talking or hearing about Torcoin, anybody expects it to be integrated to the Tor network. That f*cking makes sense  Roll Eyes ..
You (We  Wink) literally have a gold mine in our hands . Not every coin has the TOR mnemonic, not every coin has such available supply, not every coin has such potential ..

And it will only work if TheTorcoin shows dedication!
2772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is winning at Sports betting actually possible ? on: May 30, 2017, 10:39:46 PM
Yes, it is possible. I believe there are some people with the knowledge and skills to be able to make a profit at sports betting consistently.

I think they're actually on a lucky streak.

I actually ran a tipster service right on these forums, I had a facebook group too

Winnings were awesome for quite some time, and then we started failing

Honestly, gambling cannot be consider as one of the tools to help us in terms of financials
It can only give us fun and amusement  or something that we feel bored just something like that.

You wouldn't say that if you won the lottery  Cheesy

Depends which kind of gambling and how lucky you were.

only PUMP and DUMP to try make them money

You can see the first 5 wallets still contain the same amount of Torcoin so a dump didn't happen.

Time to buy more torcoin.

Yeah, prices are pretty low right now.

I hope TheTorcoin is going to address further development issues about the coin.
Addressing them would surely spike the prices.

Why not bring this back to 1 post per social media account?

You can make only 1 paid post on each social media.
