10BTC = $4450, would you even trust a stranger that big of a money?
2762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to start trading on: April 28, 2016, 06:14:07 AM
If you want to start trading, than you need first a strategy for what you want to make and trade so you can also calculate maybe your profit later in the future and your investment.
If you dont have a strategy than the chance is really high that you can lose some money with it and that is bad.

Well the basic strategy in trading is buy low and sell high. Too bad 'coz when you buy low, you don't know if the price will still go up.

There's a troll box in trading sites where people gives an "helpful info" about what to buy. Don't trust them, they just want to pump their coins.

Nevertheless, you can always look at the chart of the alt coin to see if it's going up or it's going down at the moment. Avoid buying alt coins that are just steady 'coz you have to wait much longer before that coin pumps/dumps.
2763  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can i invest my 1btc? on: April 28, 2016, 06:11:00 AM
If i were you dont use it in investment try to trade, buy altcoin and sell it high thats only way the best for it.
But for now hold that 1 btc because you can get profit in july so wait it happen only

Yep and after earning some profit out of it, wait for BTC price to go down again and wait it settle. Then start trading. Buy alt coins at a low price and then sell them for a higher price.

there's this halving speculation as well, so you can hold your btc first
by the way, anyone here that can confirm this halving process?

There's a lot of threads about halving in the Speculation section. Roll Eyes You can read about the halving process there.

Ahh yes, if only the alt coin game were this simple.. The trick to making big money in alt-coins is buying before the pump and then timing the dump.. Which is hard as hell unless you are apart of a tit-knit group. Long term altcoin holding and shorting altcoins is a good way to lose btc.

You can join some group chats of YoBit traders in facebook.

Look for a group of expert people on YoBit in your area and you probably can get some advice when and what to buy/sell.
That's the best way to know when it's pumping and when they would dump it.
2764  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: April 28, 2016, 06:02:44 AM
If I could have a fiat to invest for bitcoin, yes I would but not for ponzi scheme and gambling. There are lot of ways how you can make your funds profitable but always remember these, "Invest what you can afford to lose". Just avoid those investments that turns into a scam.

Just do a quick search before you invest anywhere. It might be an obvious ponzi but you just don't know how to identify which sites are ponzi/scam just yet. Well basically those sites that promises fast ROI, and big profit are obviously a ponzi scam. They might pay for the first time, second time, but eventually they will just runaway. Make sure you won't fall victim into one of these sites 'coz instead of earning, you'll just lose all your money.
2765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: April 28, 2016, 05:22:39 AM
If i am calculate for the first time i gamble i cant remember it
but last month i am lost around 0.1 btc on raffle ticket without a win though

The chance of winning in raffle ticket is much much lower than winning in gambling. If you can gamble that much, I suggest that you try sports betting instead. You can get infos about the teams, and people are posting which side are they on. You can find threads like that in this forum and in reddit.

It's not allowed to post referral links in here. Better delete this post, before a DT catch you.

I am doing Alt coin investment in the good coins and ICO coins and when i see profit i sell them, some coins are good for daily trading their also you can do some trading, apart from this if you got some experience with sports betting that is also good.

Altcoins are a good investment but ICo's etc. should be avoided at all cost. The are not reliable and most of the time a clear scam.

Really? Altcoins? Have you seen the charts recently? Everything s red.

I think when everything is red, its the right time to buy some of them then wait till they are up again and I think they are red recently is because bitcoin is going up recently.

LOL when everything's red, then people are dumping their coins. That means they waited for it to go up for so long but it didn't. They started losing their money so instead of losing it all, they just dump their coins. Roll Eyes
2767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: April 28, 2016, 05:03:51 AM
Get a job. Doing faucets isn't very constructive work, though if you're tenacious enough, you might make it.
It is impossible to earn through the faucet because the amount that they will give you is very small even you will work hard for it, you won't earn that much.

Yep considering the rate of 1000 sats per hour. Even if you have a lot of faucet sites, it's not enough. Also consider how big is the fee of transferring your faucetbox money to your BTC address.
And even though you have hundreds of faucet still not all of them give 1k sats per hour and it is tiring to go to all of it for a day. That's why I stopped using it but for newbie it is a fine start.

Like I always say about faucet, the key to earn in faucet is by using the referral feature. If you've got thousands of referrals, you can earn without clicking all day and night. I recommend to create your own website and use that to refer people to the faucet sites you are using.

Having lots of referrals will make you earn passively with faucets. And it also completely removes the need of solving captchas all day.
2768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: April 28, 2016, 04:52:18 AM
low computer literacy  prevents people from using bitcoin so far

Indeed, of course people won't use what they don't know how to use. They wouldn't waste their money buying bitcoin 'coz they'd think it's a scam or smth especially that it's done online.

people will not stop using bitcoin. because everyone is looking for the ease of transacting. bitcoin answer it all. and bitcoin is a technological revolution of the financial system.

Some people dislike the fact that bitcoin takes 20-30minutes before the confirmation comes. It's not a reason why people stop using bitcoin though. It's just one of the disadvantages of BTC transact. If this one will be solved in the future, I think there would be more people using bitcoin.

2770  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: April 28, 2016, 04:35:36 AM
You should hold both BTC and gold. 1/4 of your money goes to gold and 3/4 goes to BTC. In months, the bitcoin's price will shoot up. So you have a good plan already when to sell your BTC. If gold's price goes up, too in the future, then you can sell it as well. Even if gold's price goes down, you wouldn't lose a lot of money 'coz you already earned a lot from trading BTC. Smiley
2771  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: April 28, 2016, 04:25:12 AM
These type of people wondering "How to get rich" and "How to make tons of money real quick" are the type of people who are endlessly falling victim into scam sites. There's no certain way to get rich. Of course, if you've got a lot of money then you surely are going to be referred to as 'rich'.

But we all have different lives. There's no certain answer to this question. We all have our different ways of doing things, we also have different roads to take. So noone can tell you "How to get rich".

but if here there are someone rich and want to share the knowledge of how to become rich. I think people will learn from it. so there is nothing wrong as long as we work hard to do it.

Some people work so hard but still end up being broke. Because of family problems, and some emotional stuffs. I'm pretty sure he can't learn how to fix his family by that "How to get rich" book.

2772  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: April 28, 2016, 12:48:34 AM
It is impossible bitcoin can replace fiat, country need the people to used fiat more often so they have a balanced and better economics condition, if bitcoin replace fiat then the fiat of the country wont be useful anymore and then that country economics will be having huge impact

But in the far future it's still possible for bitcoin to replace fiat. Imagine worldwide transfer without (or with low) fees. If everyone has their own wallet, I don't think it's hard to adapt with bitcoin 'coz our world is currently full of technology. We will be filled with high technology sooner or later. Well, that's what I believe, at least.

When we rich that digital age, when everything's done on the computer including transactions and stuff. I believe there's a chance that most people will use bitcoin instead of fiat. Thus, eventually making the world not using fiat. Smiley
2773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 28, 2016, 12:43:07 AM
I believe most of us gamble for fun  Cheesy

We all know the house has an edge, so yes xD

Just not big amounts, we don't want to stop being rich  Grin

If you're in the casino, you can't actually say that you're just going to bet small amount of money. The pressure that's going on there is on a different level especially if you've got friends that knows you're rich. Roll Eyes

Clicking faucets all day and night isn't a good decision. Just consider the power consumption and consider how little you get from faucet sites. I think you'll consume more power than more than you would earn from faucet sites. Better look for other methods of earning 1BTC a year, I don't recommend doing faucet sites. Roll Eyes
2776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country does NOT use Bitcoin? on: April 27, 2016, 03:16:14 PM
Most of Asian countries dont use Bitcoins publicly. I have  never heard of even one country in asia.

Where did you get that info? Well here in the Philippines, there are some people using it. Philippines is in Asia. Now you've heard one country in Asia that uses bitcoin. We can easily withdraw our bitcoins in ATM machines by 'cardless' withdrawal which is offered by a local bitcoin wallet website. Roll Eyes
2777  Economy / Services / Re: WWW.GAMEBET.GG Signature campaign, (OPEN) New members paid in GBT. on: April 27, 2016, 03:13:31 PM
I heard OP told it is closed?
Can you please confirm it ?

Don't increase your post count by posting some obvious questions like this one. Why does anyone have to confirm it is closed when the campaign manager himself said that it's closed for new participants?

Just to quote:
Sorry very busy at the minute and for the rest of the day. We will not be recruiting anyone until I return. For now the campaign is closed to new members. Thanks
2778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: April 27, 2016, 03:10:35 PM
Bitcoin will always be king of crypto in my opinion

Bitcoins the daddy of em all

I think that you are totally right about it, other coins are just for fun. And if btc is daddy they are all kids, but many of them will not grow up for sure. Sad but truth.

And the kids will grow up to be a daddy and their dad will die eventually.

This isn't a solid proof that some alt coin will one day replace bitcoin. I don't think ETH will replace bitcoin in the near future. Considering their price difference right now as well as their popularity and use.
2779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which country does NOT use Bitcoin? on: April 27, 2016, 03:04:24 PM
I think that many countries do not make use of Bitcoin like third world countries where most people do not have internet. But not all of the first world countries make use of Bitcoin. But I am not sure witch countries specifically do not make use of Bitcoin.

I beg the differ. I'm from a third world country and a lot of people here (usually those people who have nothing to do in their life) are using bitcoin. They have nothing to do everyday so they figured out a way of making money out of their internet connections.

But still you're right, if the third world country you're saying doesn't have an Internet, then they don't have any access to any info about bitcoin. They wouldn't be able to use bitcoin if they have no internet in their country. The establishments wouldn't accept it as a payment too because there would be no one paying with bitcoin.
2780  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 27, 2016, 03:01:49 PM
I think I'd try to learn how alt coins work. And use that 10BTC for that new alt coin if that's enough. Otherwise, I might just gamble some of it. Donate some from charity, to feed kids and some stray animals. I would basically do good to others and to me as well. Roll Eyes
