1901  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: October 19, 2016, 05:40:42 AM
Bitcoin is not as popular as the US Dollar. US Dollar has been there for a long time so people have talked about it ever since. Before most of us were born, people already know about US Dollar and it has more value than most currencies.

Bitcoin, on the other hand, is relatively new. As we approach a more and more digital world, Bitcoin is also arising. People are starting to talk about Bitcoin but I don't think it will come to the point that Bitcoin is more popular than US Dollars any time soon. But it will, eventually.
1902  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: October 18, 2016, 12:52:27 PM
Go out and look for a job because I can guarantee you that Bitcoin is never going to give you a steady income because it just does not work that way and never will.
With a job you make sure that you will earn money and doing Bitcoin as an extra is way better.

Good suggestion to find a real job and get regular as you are going to work with it. But base on your saying that bitcoin is never going to give you steady income.

I am against that even though I am not earning steadily with bitcoin but I know some businesses and people who are earning steadily with bitcoin.

Just like the owners of exchange sites and as well as the gambling site owners.
Then I guess to have a steady income in Bitcoin, we have to establish a business that is going to be used by a lot of people. It would be really hard to compete with those established business today because people already trusts those websites and don't want to try a new website unless that new website has something that the established website doesn't have.
1903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 18, 2016, 12:19:09 PM
No bitcoin can't make bank disappear because both are different thing and our old guys will never use bitcoin because they will think bitcoin something else. And due to generation gap they will not accept bitcoin.
But humans actually have the ability to adapt the change in society. Back then, if you give somebody a computer and say that use that to earn money, he'll refuse. But today, if you give somebody a computer and told the same thing, he'll be happy to do so.

Those people that are very old might not accept Bitcoins, but we will come to a point were all those people are already dead. At that time, the people that are "young enough to understand" when Bitcoins took over are the "older" ones and the next generations will be using Bitcoin as well because that's one of the primary currencies when they were born.
1904  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: October 18, 2016, 12:13:21 PM
Possibly yes in the near future but not entirely. Fiat I think would still be the main currency in the coming decade or more though I think other currencies would be accepted, especially bitcoin as some countries are already supporting this right now. But for the question if it can actually replace the current monetary system? I don't think I'd be able to see that in my lifetime
I don't think bitcoin will be able to replace money, from the amount itself, bitcoin won't be able to support half of the world wealth, and then for now the transaction speed still become number one problem why some store doesn't want to use bitcoin, so I don't think bitcoin can replace money
The number of Bitcoins in circulation is enough. If all the people in the world converts all their fiat into Bitcoin, it will just inflate Bitcoins. Bitcoin doesn't have to be billions in number in order to support the wealth of the world. Actually, even if the number of Bitcoins in circulation is lower, it would still be okay because as more people convert their fiat into Bitcoins, it will just continue increasing its value.
1905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used for Good? on: October 18, 2016, 12:06:50 PM
Ofcourse yes, it can be used for good.
Or your question rather say so "advantages
when using bitcoin", maybe its other way around.
Anyway, people who uses bitcoin used for good
in instance bitcoin used for trading currency, use
for payment online, used in investment were people
wants to make earn profit for a living.
People who knows how to used bitcoin really used for good
were they want to earn money.
To be honest bitcoin can also than with illegal things and if you are going to configurating out there are such people who are using bitcoin as illegal money and then buying drugs using bitcoin this is one of the intension of people who really uses bitcoin not only good people yes they saying that using bitcoin has so much advantages payment onlines.
Of course Bitcoin can be used in illegal things too just like how people use fiat in illegal stuffs. I don't think the selling of drugs is mostly done online because you can leave some trace online, thus, having the risk of going to jail. Whereas in real life, when you buy drugs in fiat, it's quite safer especially if the dealer is your friend and trustworthy.

No matter how good is the intention of the creator of anything, it can still be used in a bad way.
1906  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: October 17, 2016, 02:01:21 PM
Yes, I do have multiple Bitcoin wallets but I didn't do it specifically to store my Bitcoins. The first Bitcoin wallet that I'm using is a local one and it allows me to buy this and that from services that is available in my country. It also lets me top up my phone, the conversion into my local currency is also shown.

Behind all these awesome features, the wallet website doesn't let me sign a message with my address. We tried talking to them about this and they only said something like "Sounds cool!" so me and my fellow Bitcoiners had to create another wallet on Blockchain to sign a message.

I think secondstrade conducted that judgement without using any sort of bot like the one that you've shown. The main reason why you have an 84% post quality is because you have posts like this which have a very long quote. The bot based your score on how long your reply is including the quotes but your posts aren't constructive at all if you manually take a look at it.
1908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tipping Uber drivers with bitcoin on: October 17, 2016, 01:40:18 PM
I started to drive with Uber on my spare time and I am trying to come up
with and idea that promotes customers to tip with bitcoin.

Other drivers say they put a sign in their car that states tips are not included in
fares and are appreciated based on your experience. Maybe I can make
a QR code and post it for them to copy? Any ideas?
You can do that just in case somebody that owns Bitcoin gets a ride from you and to let people know that "Bitcoin" is actually a thing. But if your customer have no idea about Bitcoin, don't even try to lecture them about Bitcoin because they might find it annoying and leave you without paying at all. There's not that much people who's using Bitcoin right now so I guess even if you put that sign, you'll still get tipped with fiat.
1909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: October 17, 2016, 12:35:59 PM
In Bitcoin, we aren't actually anonymous. We're pseudonymous. We can have a lot of names online and act as different persons. We can register as much accounts as we want online to any website except to those that has a one IP one account policy, of course. Nevertheless, since we can be two or three person online, all those individuals should have their own Bitcoin wallets. The accounts shouldn't have a joined Bitcoin wallet so you can't be easily traced.
1910  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 17, 2016, 11:03:06 AM
There are some people that do know Bitcoin in my country but I believe that more people do not know what Bitcoin is and that is just because it is not as popular where I am from.
Maybe that it is going to change with in the future but I am not sure about it.
I think in almost every country, Bitcoin isn't that popular. Some people might have heard about it, but didn't get their attention or they weren't just interested about it. To be honest, those crazy trends and dumb dance moves are far more popular than Bitcoin. People are just so pre-occupied by the 'trend' and are so busy looking for attention and validation from other people that they can't even afford to pay attention if something like Bitcoin comes up as a topic.
1911  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: i want start cloudmining !!! on: October 17, 2016, 10:51:42 AM
How about no? But since you don't want to hear that a comment like that, then go on. Do what you want to do. Just don't come back here saying that you shouldn't have invested your money. Cloud mining always had a bad reputation because of the scams going on. You can still invest in cloud mining sites but don't expect to find any cloud mining site that has been running for a while now and pays well at the same time.
1912  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is any new way here to earn bitcoin very fast? on: October 15, 2016, 02:18:21 PM
I don't see any "new" ways in making Bitcoin today. It's still the same methods from 1 year ago. Signature campaigns, waiting for new altcoins and investing in it, maybe even joining it's signature campaign to get some stakes before the launch. If that new altcoin is successful, then you'll surely make a lot of money. There's also money lending, you can also exchange funds from one website to another, like Paypal to Perfect Money, to Bitcoins, Skrill, etc. All of these aren't new at all.
1913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: October 15, 2016, 01:33:35 PM
no i do not think so that bitcoin can help poor countries because poor countries have no facilities of internet and computers.
Maybe years ago, poor countries doesn't have Internet and computer, but today, even third world countries have Internet and almost everyone has a computer. If not, they have a smartphone, which is enough to connect to the Internet and start earning Bitcoins. I think the countries that you were talking about are countries that aren't civilized. Even India has an Internet and a lot of Indians can actually be found on the Internet.
1914  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: October 15, 2016, 01:22:42 PM
I seen few of people earning a living with bitcoins in this forum, Some like Stunna and dooglus as well as Vod and few other members, As well as those running exchanges "And the full exchange staff", Gambling website operators and staff as well.
I think those exchange and gambling sites staff/mod can only earn enough money to make a living if they will do it full time. I don't think their earning is that much since all they do is watch out for any problems that would occur on their website. Maybe while doing their job online, they are also staking altcoins or mining Bitcoins just to add some more earnings while they are still online.
1915  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you help with bitcoin? on: October 14, 2016, 01:53:03 PM
Today, the people around me knows that I am doing Bitcoins and that's one way of promoting Bitcoins. Although I don't teach them about it, atleast they are informed that such thing exists and it allows us to earn money without leaving the house. In this forum, I'm also updating the table of signature campaigns (See here) so this community would function even more efficiently with signature campaigns. I think even though it is not that much, a little help is still considered as help. It's much better than not helping at all.
1916  Economy / Speculation / Re: It took only 11 days to go from 639 to 1148 last time on: October 14, 2016, 01:39:57 PM
Well, we can always be optimistic and hope that the line "History repeats itself." will happen. November and December is coming up, we're already in mid October. We just have to wait a few more days to see if people would be investing their money into Bitcoins instead of just buying things that they want. It is usually at these months when people spends a lot of money. I already dumped some of my coins just to make sure that I'll get some profit just in case the price goes back to 600$.
1917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: October 14, 2016, 01:05:48 PM
We have been in the price range of 600-610$ for a while but today, we are above 630$. I don't think that it's good move to wait and see if the price would still decrease in the future. I think it would be better to gamble and buy some Bitcoins now. There's a possibility that the price of Bitcoin will increase more sooner.

For us, people that has Bitcoin before this price increase, some of us dumped some of our coins because we wanted to take advantage of this minor pump. If it increases again, then we'll dump more coins. But if it decreases, then we'll use the fiat that we got by dumping the coins to buy Bitcoins again. That gives a little profit.
1918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: October 14, 2016, 12:56:09 PM
It's not that hard to start trading with small amount of money. But if you do have a really small amount of money, then that will be a little problem. Having more money means that the more coins you can invest into and you can buy more amounts of that coin, as well. Having really little amount of money would be very hard because you can only buy small amount of a certain altcoin and if that coin dies, then your investment dies as well.

I think you shouldn't settle with that small money of yours and look for free ways to earn Bitcoins first. Or maybe just take out some money out of your pocket and then use it to buy more Bitcoins.
1919  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Best selling item online for bitcoins? on: October 14, 2016, 12:47:47 PM
What you think about this topic, I wonder what would be most profitable to start selling for bitcoins, and I found out that I have no idea what is happening on the online markets.

https://news.bitcoin.com/top-5-products-openbazaar/

OpenBazzar have a list about top 5 things that people are buying with bitcoins.

1. Food
2. Cigarettes
3. Seeds
4. Comic Books
5. Clothing & Accessories

What is your opinion about this?
My opinion about that is that Bitcoin users are buying the same things that normal people buy. I think the Clothing & Accessories would go higher on the list if the designs were Bitcoin related or if the designs and the quality are really good. I don't think a lot of Bitcoin users have a lot of time to plant trees in their garden so why is Seeds on top 3. Not sure what types of seeds do they sell. It's possible that it's for cannabis because a lot of people buy that online (especially on reddit).
1920  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: October 13, 2016, 10:36:08 AM
Why would people create such thread just like these type of threads? "If bitcoin died tomorrow" : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1630586
And now this? Do you really want bitcoin to die very soon? Don't think about negative things to bitcoin and instead think about positivity so that positive things are going to happen. Look at the price now, it is pumping.
There are numerous threads in this place that are basically identical to each other. And, just an FYI, this thread has been here for a while now. This thread came first before the thread that you have mentioned. There are other threads that are the same as this one but I guess that can't be helped.

If it bothers you that much, then feel free to click "Report to moderator". It's not a direct copy+paste thread and there's still a difference amongst these threads that seemingly the same that's why it's not being deleted by the mods.
