Let's talk about Kai Sotto, he is now with the Adelaide 36ers, an Australian team. I think this league is more competitive than Japan's B-League.

As we can see, he is already in the roster_ https://www.adelaide36ers.com/players
(wondering why PBA team does not have their own website)
Smiley

So my question is, will he make a name in this competition and improve as a player?

his first game .
2762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive vs seasonal trading on: November 25, 2021, 09:18:25 PM
Should do both.

Passive and seasonal trading are both profitable if you know the right approach.
It's an active and passive income, anyone would like that.

Personally, I have my long term investment that I will withdraw when the target is hit, while I'm also focus on trading short term as the market is easy to predict when it's bullish, so it's an opportunity for traders to be profitable as it does not require a lot of skills to be profitable under the current situation.
2763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 25, 2021, 02:30:33 PM
Thanks @boltz and @Natalim... I remember, they have this thanksgiving per year and that's the only break of the NBA aside from the All-star weekend. Anyway, I think you are right, we should take a little rest in gambling, relax our mind so we will be ready in analyzing on the upcoming games on the next day which we have 12 games., that's a lot, let's win at least 8.
2764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 25, 2021, 02:02:57 PM
Are you guys excited to see Klay playing again? Well, if you are here's the latest update and we might see him soon back in the court, the number 1 in the NBA now will get back one of the best shooters in the NBA.
Quote
Klay Thompson has been cleared to be a full participant in all Warriors practices.
He isctrending toward return within week of Christmas.
Before Christmas, around Christmas week, or even after it, I am so excited about how much the impact will it be when they insert him back to the rotation.
Iggy had been missing games and they need one more guy who is strong on both defense and offensive end. Klay is that guy.
Some may even say it will be unfair when GSW is already doing good and if with the added Klay Thompson it will be like an edited NBA console game.  Grin
The game against the 76ers is one of the best example of it. Trailing by 20 points and turning it around winning by 20 points. That's crazy.
He already participated in the team's practice, (https://abcnews.go.com/Sports/golden-state-warriors-klay-thompson-participates-full-practice/story?id=81361698)... it's good news for the Warriors fans as it will only make the team stronger with a healthy Klay Thompson.

The splash brothers will once again play together, but this time, they have another shooter like Poole and Wiggins who are consistent in contributing to the team.
2765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 25, 2021, 01:27:01 PM
I'm checking the schedule of the upcoming games but found out that there's no game tomorrow (Nov. 25, 2021).

What's happening? is there any occasion that the NBA will have at least one day break?
2766  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Merits? on: November 24, 2021, 09:58:53 PM
Welcome to the forum mate. To earn merits, you need to contribute to the forum, good posts will normally earn merits because merit sources will likely give merits to post which are deserving to earn. As a newbie, you need to learn more, so start with reading, read, read, then you can do post, post, post after. Good luck, don't hunt for merits hard enough because they will just come as long as you follow my suggestion highlighted above.
2767  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency scam tricks newbies might fall for. on: November 24, 2021, 09:44:03 PM
Good would show everything that is available, whether scam or not. So it's very important to verify the project you are planning to invest in, one way in verifying it is to visit this forum and ask suggestions from active members here, for sure they'll give enough information that is unbiased.

Newbies tend to be so aggressive, as long as they have the money to invest, they'll try it, especially if the offer is very tempting. That's why crypto is called sometimes a place for scammers is because of the newbies that did not educate themselves well enough before they decided to invest.
2768  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: November 24, 2021, 09:15:01 PM
Is it really necessary that banks should be replaced by crypto? For me, if they can both co exist, then why not?
They will co-exist, but if one will only stay, I'm sure it will be the bank as they have been here for so long while bitcoin is still new. With regulations, bitcoin cannot be as decentralized as it was before because crypto exchanges will have to adopt the rules and regulations that are imposed on the banks.

What do you think is the problem why the Lakers are struggling right now? The Coach maybe? or lack of chemistry or the fact that most of them are all star and they want to get the ball and just shoot Cheesy. Either way, I think that the Lakers should adjust right now or they will end up at the lower spot or worse they might not enter the playoffs.

Westbrook isn't the problem (like everyone is complaining about) having almost everyone in the team a superstar and a former one isn't also the issue. They could actually execute a good offensive plays and they can even score in every way they want. Their number one problem is, they are not actually playing some defense.
They can't even sustain a lead no matter how huge it is, because the higher the lead the more the Lakers became comfortable thus making their defense become more lazy.

If they can't figure out how they'll adjust and fix their system, theres no way they're going to the Finals let alone the conference semis.

Still finding the chemistry, I think that is no mystery that with many superstars the coach will have a hard time rotating them. I disagree though, they play good defense, AD and WB play good defense it's that they can't translate their good defense and score points.

But I do agree that the chances for the Lakers to go to the semis much more to the finals is getting less and less with that defeat against the New York Knicks.

The problem is the whole system, they traded the key players and they risk on Westbrook who can't jive well on the old players. We can't blame Westbrook as he is just playing the way he used to play, and the Lakers organization already know that before they acquired him, so that's the risk they take and they fail on this trade.
The old Laker players that are involved in the Lakers-Wizards trade are now happy with the new system. We know what the Wizards are doing right now and we already saw the improvement of Kuzma, Harrell and KCP and how they are playing on their team right now. Same with Caruso with his new team, Bulls and with Schroder with the Celtics.

Many are blaming WB for what is happening to the team right now but I think that he isn't the sole reason why they are performing like this right now. I think that its the coaching system that is the problem because he can't handle that many superstars in a team. Well, that is the risk that they need to endure right now unless they will change something.

The Lakers organization should be blamed because they let the young players go and replace them with old players that are almost past their prime. They added Melo, Howard, and DJ which are already old, they may contribute but not the contribution that would make their team wins, that's why they are still struggling until now.

The Lakers will face the Pacers tomorrow, expect another loss.
2770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tax holding back bitcoin from going to the Moon on: November 24, 2021, 11:55:44 AM
What is the price you think that would convince yourself that bitcoin is already on the moon? That's the first thing you have to determine because in the past people are already saying that bitcoin has already gone to the moon and yet we are still expecting the same now.

The bull run is here, there's no price limit as it could go beyond our expectation, but as an investor, we should be smart and be more realistic with our goal so we can do a timely action to sell for profit, otherwise, we will miss the opportunity.
2771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: November 24, 2021, 11:26:14 AM
Bitcoin will never be regulated because it's decentralized.

What can be regulated is the 3rd party entity or online wallets because they exist or operate to make a profit from transactions. Taxes exist because we do convert our bitcoin to traditional money, with that, we are required to pay taxes especially if we earn profit which we called as capital gain tax when paid to the government.

Regulation is happening already in countries where they accept bitcoin, but for countries who does not like bitcoin, they will just simply ban it and make it illegal for anyone who transact bitcoin in any form or purpose.

Okay, so enough for Lebron, let's take about the Memphis vs Jazz game.

That game was really intense, Memphis was always behind and they keep trying to close and that last shot by Jackson Jr. in the 3 point line made them win. What do you think is the problem with the Jazz here, they seem to struggle against a good team even if they are highly favored to win, and Memphis is not even complete.

That shot was revenge for their loss in the playoffs.  Smiley
I think it was just one of those games in the long run of the regular season, just cannot finish strong in every game. Ja Morant was a beast again, 32 points in 37 minutes. I do believe he has the potential to be a future MVP. Let's see what kind of performance they will show in the playoffs

Dillon Brooks was not even playing, how much more if he will come back and play. Memphis defense and Offense will improve for sure.

Hopefully, we will see him soon as Memphis needs to climb and compete with the ranking.
Brooks was announced out against the Jazz (https://www.cbssports.com/nba/players/2157680/dillon-brooks/).
Let's see if he will be available next game.
2773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 23, 2021, 11:29:49 AM
Well Mike is in His late days so I'm not sure if His strength is enough to put down a Younger and strong opponent like Logan Paul.
yeah he is advantageous in experiences and also skills but this young fighter is thirsty to beat a famous and make His own History .
I'm sure he will give everything in strength to Beat Mike even if this is exhibition Unless the fight will be manipulated again and the decision will be a Draw one more time.
if this happens i will never watch any exhibition  fight again.

You dont need a lot of punching power to knockout a person. You just need speed and land a punch in a proper place in jaw. All what Mike need is to find a place in Logans defense and sting there. The question is, if Logan goes full defense, will Mike have enough stamina to punch him nonstop for 8 rounds.
Mike Tyson is known as a knockout artist, so he has the power in his hands that could KO Logan Paul.
For sure, Logan Paul knows Tyson's power and his strategy is to drain him and just counter in order to win.

I also dont like exhibition fight, specially if they are manipulated. But I will watch it anyway, because this is a rare opportunity to see Mike in the ring. I think people must cherish moments like this.
How would we know that the fight is manipulated or not? I think an exhibition fight from the name itself is already understood as manipulated.
2774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 20, 2021, 09:58:05 PM
Yes, once you play abroad you should follow their rules and respect your contract and as an import you must show respect to everyone. With Romeo the way he played in local games, should not be our basis to judge him especially with the skills that he have. Though, there’s no final announcement yet with this one, I don’t think it will push through since Romeo is still under contract and its up to his management to allow him or not.

With the breakdown of the contract that he will get an increased salary per year, he would not make a bad decision messing up as he might not be able to come back to the PBA anymore. So I think Romeo will behave, he will set his patience to the highest level and play like a real professional or a real import.

All these things would only happen if he will accept the contract, so let's hope he'll grab it.
2775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 20, 2021, 09:32:06 PM
In my opinion, GGG has a better chance of winning.

In my opinion, both have the same chance of winning. GGG is deadly by its name but he has already passed his prime.
Not sure about that, but let's just see how the bookies would rate this fight. I believe that GGG will still be the heavy favorite here, even if he is old.

I think the one that will trigger the 100% GGG is if he will have a chance for a trilogy with Canelo.

That's what he wanted before retiring and not this match. But since Canelo doesn't have an interest, GGG should prove that he's still a worthy opponent for Canelo by defeating the Japanese Champion Murata.
The Japanese champion had most of his fights in Japan, which means he has not faced the best fighters in the world yet, this is probably his first time and though GGG is already 39 years old, this man is built with steel too, he can destroy his opponent with his power punches like Canelo.

As for me, I'm also hoping for GGG vs Canelo III, but I have to be realistic that it's unlikely to happen.
2776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 20, 2021, 08:52:36 PM

Now the loyalty of Romeo will be tested here. Will he accept the offer and eat the words that he said that he has a life debt to SMC or it will be the other way around.

Lets see how this one goes. Its starting to have an effect already. Many are expecting I think that this will have a domino effect not only for young players but for professional players in the PH as well and we don't know when this will end since it seems that Japan likes to get Filipino Imports Cheesy. He can accept this offer but his name might get affected but either way, its his decision to go there or stay. It will just be harder for him since he spit those words like "he has a life debt to SMC therefore, he will not accept any offers from there".

He doesn't need that loyalty; he needs the money Grin Roll Eyes with how things change in his life now, better to think for a much better future, his career will be more effective if he will play outside the country, I used to remember when the call for him to play for Gilas and the coaching staff just take it for granted, not saying that it's not SMB alone but for sure if that said offer is for real, he should grab it now.

He already gives SMB his best from the past games that he played. I'm sure seeing his teammates leaving will also affect his
decisions.

We will know once he or the SMB managements will announce anything about this rumor,.

Romeo should take that offer now that he is still healthy, once he is prone to injuries, that offer will be gone and he will stay in the PBA for the rest of his life, and just like Cabagnot and Santos, he will also be traded because the team will never be loyal to him, all they do is for the interest of their business, not their personal relationships to their players.

Good thing is that the offer is still on, I heard that rumors before already about a huge contract but Romeo did not take it, maybe he would change his mind as we have a lot of Filipino players already playing in Japan for a greener pasture. Romeo has to be smart, if he plays at least 3 years in Japan, he can retire early because the salary is huge and with the money he'll receive, he can already secured his future after retirement.
Romeo is good but his attitude in court might be a big problem if ever he plays on Japan. Look what happened to Thirdy where he get sanctioned from his own team because of his bad behavior, well Romeo didn’t accept that for a reason most probably his management didn’t approve that. If Romeo will play on Japan, I hope to see a younger Romeo where he plays with a lot of motivation and with a good respect to other players as well.

It's very different when playing in his native land compared to playing abroad, for sure Romeo knows that and he will be careful because his contract is huge and he doesn't want to risk that. During international games that we saw Romeo is playing, he is just cool and plays his best, so I am expecting the same if he ever play with B league.
2777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 20, 2021, 08:11:46 PM
LeBron is having a great game but the Lakers are getting destroyed in the paint. They’re being outscored 2 to 1 in the key and outrebounded by 10. All this and Dwight Howard had as many rebounds as anyone with only 1/4 of the minutes played… This is painful to watch. I think Vogel’s days are numbered. He might not be coaching the Lakers in the playoffs if he can’t figure out how to take this roster to a better than 500 record.
Honestly Lakers needs to do something about their situation or they are going to be humiliated again during playoff time. I get that it takes time for a team to build chemistry and learn how to play together, and I get that they have a lot of old players who are trying to learn their ways and its harder for them to change their style to fit the systems mold but this is getting horrible.

Now, they are under .500 and that is a horrible look for them, this team was built to dominate the league in mind and right now let alone dominating they are not even looking good, they are below average at the very best case. This needs to change for them to actually do what they were expected to do.

If they can't figure out how to build chemistry on the current roster, maybe the best decision is to trade Westbrook as he wasn't really the Westbrook that we saw in OKC, Rockets, and Wizards. There's a big problem with Westbrook is playing with many superstars, he can't blend well as he used to carry his team on his shoulders.
2778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 20, 2021, 12:59:37 PM
It's weird though that Porter is all smiling in this official weigh-in.

Actually, that's not weird as he always like that at most. He really needs to be confident or else, his momentum will be spoiled. I'm sure he is well-prepared for the fight and will show his 100% as he is against all odds. On the other hand, Crawford will also do the same.
Porter winning the fight will make him a champion, and he could have a big fight after beating Crawford, probably a rematch with Spence (if Available), Kell Brooks, or Thurman. I'm talking about the guys who beat him.

Crawford by decision: 1.76
Crawford by KO: 2.55

If no choice but to bet on Crawford, or should I say, I really don't like to bet on Porter, I will bet on Crawford by decision @1.76. Hard for me to bet on a KO win by Crawford as even he's the clear dominant on that fight, I think Porter can stand strong until the final bell rings.
Porter gave Spence a tough fight, so we might see the same scenario here. Just like the Spence vs Porter fight, in ended via split decision.

2779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your betslip here and inspired the gambling community. on: November 20, 2021, 11:23:14 AM
I guess not all gamblers are willing to share their bet slips for various reasons such as privacy and security. Privacy means gamblers do not want to share how they bet and how much they bet/win/lose while security is to prevent something bad like hacking and phishing attempts.

Yes, most gamblers prefer to keep their winnings in private to keep their security safe as well because we all know that flexing our assets or winnings could only attract hackers and criminals. Based on what I've experienced, keeping things low key would be better rather than boasting though for some people, it could inspire others.

You can hide the amount you bet and the betslip ID, that way you'll be untraceable if I only win a big amount or maybe just a decent amount. I would not hesitate to share my bet because when I was still new to gambling, particularly in sports betting, I am easily inspired by bettors sharing their bet slip.
2780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 20, 2021, 11:02:33 AM

Height different doesn't matter, Porter has fought a lot of taller guys in his career and his chin is still intact. But maybe this will be the first time that it might crack.

Not with Crawford,  Porter knows how to play his game to still survive. While Crawford is finding a way to KO Porter, I'm sure Porter is also planning to do the same, so if Crawford will underestimate Porter, then we might see an upset here as one punch could result to a win by Porter.
