2761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: June 23, 2021, 09:39:47 PM
Did you sell your xrp during last pump? It hasn't crossed its $4 ath from 2018 yet and some analysts have predicted that it would reach $10 minimum. I really hope you sold it during last pump to cut your loss and rebought it during dump to recover your losses. From what I can see, xrp price is consolidating right now so we should see a nice jump in the near term.

It should be for the entire market if we talk about consolidation, XRP is one of the coins that has not achieved a new ATH during the recent bull run, and since what we are witnessing is a correction time, I would not doubt that XRP will drop even at the current price.

But of course, we never know, we just speak according to our prediction, and I could be wrong in this matter.
2762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 23, 2021, 09:28:56 PM
Here is what Loma said on choosing a tough challenge on his comeback fight:

Quote
“He is strong, very tall and very long arms,” notes Lomachenko. “He has experience at the top level, as he showed in a (competitive) fight with Lopez and the way he was able to beat Verdejo. This is the perfect challenge for me. I’ve always aimed to face the highest level of competition.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/lomachenko-nakatani-perfect-challenge-me-i-wanted-face-top-contender--158615

As what we've expected from him, he view this as a big challenge, wanted to demonstrate that he is back and will get all his belt back.

@Sanitough - yeah, I know that we can't see an upset, but who knows.  Grin

He might be telling the truth but the bookies have a different view on the fight, they make Lomachencko the heavy favorite and that is more accurate than what he was saying. For all we know, he is just trying to market the fight and make people think that it's a fair match.
2763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: June 23, 2021, 12:26:03 PM
it's still very scary to see Bitcoin price movements on the weekend, yes this is because some traditional markets close,
and make whales unable to contribute to the market, as a result many people do fake buy and sell, and volatility goes up,
of course this will affect the trend of Bitcoin in the market, don't be fooled

Who wouldn't? but if you have the mentality of a holder and been in crypto space for many years, probably you won't move even if you see the price moving this weekends. Not sure though if it goes below $30k or $32k is the low during that time.

However, it seems that we have bounce back a bit again, currently at $34k and hopefully it will stay at this phase and reach $36k at least this week.

Yes, bitcoin bounces back, but I'm sure it will not push through to the uptrend position. Bitcoin is already bearish, so even if it will not dump below $30k now, it will also not gonna break the resistance, let's do short trading, take advantage of this predictable price range movement.
2764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 23, 2021, 11:52:46 AM
^^ Thanks for the tips, I was just looking at the odds before the game, and thinking the over will be a good bet here. Over 222.5 is currently at @1.91 so that's a juicy odd already, so I'm going to go with the same bet as yours.

Although without Kawhi, it seems that Clippers have settled down with Paul George as the leading and then Reggie Jackson as the second option now. I think the key for them to win and stop that winning streak of the Suns is how to stop Devin Booker who is tearing them with his mid jump shot and assists.

That was a low-scoring game as defense on Booker is intense but still, they won via that alley-oop to DA.

Damn, I could not believe that a superstar's knees would buckle under pressure, missing two clutch free throws that could have sealed the win for the Clippers, I think this will haunt Paul George if they will lose the series  Smiley.

They could have tied the series if he makes both FT, there was really big pressure on him that night, not being able to shoot the 2 important free throws cost them big time. Ayton was outstanding from the start until the end, it was a well deserved win by the Suns but I have a feeling it's a long series.

Anyway, Clippers handicap covers.
2765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 22, 2021, 09:12:43 PM
Donaire is kinda old in boxing terms, though can still perform well on the ring and have Casimero wanting to get that win so bad.

If you were able to watch how Donaire gives damage to the monster Naoya Inoue, a first time on his career, you won't consider his age in terms of analyzing the match. Moving forward, Donaire also has an impressive TKO win against Nordine Oubaali last month.

I considered this fight between Donaire and Casimero as a close match with no favorites or so what. Donaire might be the favorite but for me, there is no underdog to this match. Both boxers are having equal strength and it will now depend on how they will execute their respective strategies.

Nice to hear that from you, so if the betting odds make Donaire or Casimero an underdog, then it would be a great idea to take the underdog since they have an equal chance of winning the fight. As for me, I don't see Donaire here being the favorites as they are both champions and the only advantage of Casimero is his age.

We've seen the damage done by Donaire on Inoue, but if Donaire was younger, he could have KO Inoue in that fight.
2766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Student Coin Speculation/Discussion Thread on: June 22, 2021, 08:51:17 PM
scammer will always scam people and that is the reality of life in bounty hunting.
That's it. Bounty reward totally depend with the team and that's why we are waiting for a new way for the reward to be escrowed. The only problem this totally depend with the team because they were holding the tokens.
That means if the hunters can do nothing for that. what we can do to make sure the manager hears its hunters.
Escrow is the best way to do it, it will gain the trust of the bounty hunters as they know they can get the reward after the job. It should only be the bounty manager who will determine if the bounty is gonna be paid for a certain job or not, not the team because they don't specialize in it, all they do is prepare the budget and make sure the bounty manager does not cheat on them.
2767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 22, 2021, 08:34:41 PM
If kawhi is play those odds are nice 2.7.  Clips can win (and lose) any of these games they are streaky.  Not a bad bad bet.  I also like taking the hawks in each of the games I think they will keep the series close don't think they will be swept or 5 gamed out.  Especially in Atlanta.  They have been real good and efficient.

That odds would not be 2.7 if Kawhi will play, it might be 2.10 or even lower since the Suns are playing without Chris Paul. I like your idea of betting on the Hawks because they are actually undervalued now despite of the successful win against the Sixers, they'll not be swept I believe but they might not be successful again this time.
2768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 21, 2021, 09:42:19 PM
Speculating about Bitcoin is harder than ever now. BTC plays out differently as there are institutional users are more now. These investor's change with market sentiments, most of them are not a believer of crypto but here just to make money. We might see an ETH out burst when the update is near.
There are more personalities now that get involved in crypto and now there are plenty of companies into it too. We don't know what their plan but as long as there is still room for adoption especially in the future there's nothing to get worried about, soon the market will recover hopefully before the year ends. So as long as we  have extra bucks to invest we should atleast try provided we  still have our own money in us incase the p price will not recover yet.
Social media has even worsen the situation of the crypto market and if things will be just the same in the next months, probably we will have another correction every now and then. This will cause more fear to newly investors as it can suddenly trigger their investments.

But believing that the market will always recover, even how low the market will be, it will still bound to recover. So yes, i still have faith in mine that there are still good days to come and having bull run at the end of the year is probably the most awaited moment of everyone.
2769  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: June 21, 2021, 09:17:42 PM
COVID period can be the best thing happened for cryptocurrencies really. Because so many people started looking for new adventures in this time period. And they came across cryptocurrency market. And now, there are incredible amount of people who have become a crypto user. And the future is coming even faster than ever thanks to that. I didn't t hink that I ngwas going to thank COVID for something.  Grin
There's still a positive effect from covid aside from the disasters it has brought to a million lives of people. And being in crypto is the best decision that i had made this time. Fiat transactions are no longer beneficial today because it will help spread the virus fastly so virtual currencies are definitely taking place. And people even adults and millenials are taking most of their time into internet transactions today so they become more inclined to new technologies that would be very helpful in living more convenient this time.
2770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 18, 2021, 09:25:35 PM
Any thoughts on how many games Chris Paul will miss in the next round?  Will he miss any at all?  Can the Suns win without him?

I'd be curious on results of a poll about how many games Chris Paul will miss.  I haven't followed the news as much as I'd like, but it seems like he's been in quarantine for a while and was already vaccinated.  If even vaccinated people have to spend weeks out of work due to protocol, it sort of makes you wonder how effective the vaccine is in the first place and what the point of it is...
It looks like it still unclear when Chris Paul might be available to play because he hasn't re-joined the team at the moment, and I don't exclude that he might miss a couple of weeks. I guess if the Suns play without CP3, then they probably will lose in WCF, Imho.

I don't think so, especially if they will play against the Clippers who are still missing Kawhi Leonard.

This is bad for CP3, he had some injury and now he is out for covid-19 protocol.
https://www.nba.com/news/reports-paul-in-protocols-status-for-west-finals-unclear
However, I know bookies are smart, and I believe CP3 will be able to play in the WCF as they are still the favorites to win the WCF.

Don't be scared, we've seen the worst from the current price, we have to understand where we came from before we reach a new ATH this year. The price was below $20K before the bull run starts, and we are still higher than the price before, so even if will go below $30k, we are still in profit if we bought during the dip, not the peak.  We are not in control of the price, it always depends on the demand, and it could fall like before, so be strong to hold.
2772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 18, 2021, 08:44:09 PM
Imagine, even if you are an underdog, you can gamble here since you can lie on your age when you sign up, and since there's no KYC, you can freely gamble without any problem as long as you don't gamble a lot that would ring a bell on the casino.
Truth to be told this also happens in fiat casinos, after all in my experience you are only asked for KYC information when you want to withdraw so you can deposit as much money as you want and gamble with it but as soon as you want to get your money out of their platform then you are hit with KYC, this means that kids can gamble with fiat as well with no problem and when we take into account that some video games allow you to gamble as well with real money then this is a risk that not only exists here.
This is when you do deal with fiat casinos online where you would need to comply KYC  unlike on crypto online casinos where you cant really be asked for
such information excluding into other casinos which had recently changed up their terms due to regulation reasons where there are such changes where in result into asking out those information and this is where crypto becomes popular due to anonymity on where you can freely play without giving out your information and without minding much that your information would be known but somehow it could really have some cons too.
Crypto casinos and KYC will always be related because crypto on one side offers anonymity to gamblers. But the government wants to know their customer and asking the casino to apply KYC for their members. Some casinos will follow the regulations, while the other casino that is out of that jurisdiction will not follow and will allow people to play gambling without KYC.

Nowadays, a gambler becomes smart. They know that when they are playing gambling using crypto, they will not have to send their identity to the casino and they can hide in their rooms and gamble and make money from gambling. As long as they do not make the alarm sound, they will be okay with playing gambling.

Easy for them to do that but there's always a risk on their side, that's an identity thief or they might not be able to go after the gambling site if they will file a case once the site is scamming its clients because they are not using their real identity. I don't know if there are still gambling sites that will offer anonymous gambling in the future, because wherever they are, as long as they are regulated, the government would always require them to implement a KYC as that is the standard for every government.
2773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see $10k per BTC? on: June 18, 2021, 01:19:55 PM
You can hear the fear developing in peoples minds and in their posts talking about the downward trend of Bitcoin.  Maybe it's for the best if a few people get stung now so that they can serve as a warning to other potential investors of bitcoin who would want to pump the price up to unrealistic levels.

The Game Stop phenomenon is another example of investors not knowing what they are in for when the price tanks.  Not really.

There's no hype anymore so the price is correcting, the money is already withdrawn because bitcoin is not bullish anymore. That's why we only witness a short but continuous bull run because it's the fresh money invested in the market but eventually they'll just withdraw it if they profit or if they panic because the price dumps. In short, it's not really for long-term investment, hence it will only leave a short-term bullish effect.
2774  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will China's crackdown on Bitcoin cause Bitcoin to become worthless? on: June 18, 2021, 01:01:35 PM
Bitcoin is a global currency, China would never make bitcoin worthless even if they will ban everything related to bitcoin. The world is big, we have different miners from all over the world and no regulation could stop bitcoin because it's decentralized. Bitcoin maybe affected with the bad news pertaining to China's regulatory action, but it should never affect the future growth of bitcoin.
2775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin dump below $30,000 this week? on: June 18, 2021, 11:23:35 AM
It's been bearish for bitcoin thus far, and now it slowly going down again. We hit $30k in the past few days and it seems we are going back to that level again. The price is currently at $32,900 per http://preev.com/.. and the price is descending.

What's your take on this, will this dump continue in the next few days or bitcoin will bounce back strong going back to $60,000?
no and will never be , there is no week of this month that Bitcoin will drop below that and what we got is a bottom when we touched 32k.
I would not be too confident on that, bitcoin is very unpredictable, after it breaks $40k, it started to fall down again.
If what we will see is more downtrend, then there's no doubt that the bar market has already taken over.

After Elon Musk's last statement about Bitcoin mining, the price rose again and managed to reach $40k. Now, it is below 40k but I don't think also that it will go down below 30k. And I hope we don't see any big news which can cause the price to go down that much.
Only manipulator that goes with the flow from that statement because look at the market now it did not even progress from 40k.

Manipulator is here and will stay for long, you can judge by the price movement, it's very volatile, one day it will pump hard, the next day it will dump like everyone will be panic, that has been the nature of crypto, but hopefully it will change in the future.
2776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 18, 2021, 11:02:57 AM
Timothy Bradley say up some words about Pacquiao and Spence Fight.
https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/tim-bradley-reacts-to-crawford-losing-pacquiao-fight-to-spence/179181
https://www.boxingnews24.com/2021/06/pacquiao-sees-flaws-in-spences-game-says-tim-bradley/

Even though he choses up Spence as his boy but still he is rooting for Pacquiao on dominating the fight on giving out some
fast combinations.

Bradley is sometimes wrong, but like to listen to the opinion of the fighters who got beaten up by Pacman badly.

De la hoya sees a win for Manny here, and same with Margarito, I think they know and understand better so regardless of the record of Spence Jr., Manny would still be the favorites of these fighters who he fought before, and I Like that because Manny is an underdog in the betting line and yet many still believe he can beat Spence in this fight.
But in this fight Bradley is correct and this is Manny's Game ..

Domination will comes from the Filipino fighter.'

Like what Timothy says, I'm rooting for Manny Pacquiao when the event comes.

Bradly did not say he will root for Manny to win in the fight, I think he favors Spence to win the fight, unless he changed his mind.

TIM BRADLEY BRUTALLY HONEST PACQUIAO VS. ERROL SPENCE PREDICTION & WHAT IT MEANS FOR CRAWFORD

It's nice to see mixed prediction, not only a unanimous prediction, and this makes the fight more interesting to watch.
Anyway, any fight of Manny is always interesting, except for the Mayweather which we all agree a boring fight.
2777  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: June 18, 2021, 09:24:59 AM
In reality, the rich people are really those who are smart enough for paying fewer taxes, they are good at manipulating their records and adding some stuff to the business to minimize the taxes. They understand that taxes are the lifeblood of a country but if they can find some strategy to lower the taxes they'll do it.

We have regulators to audit their financial reports, if they are not in charge of tax evasion, then I guess they are not doing anything wrong.

By simply based on some data presented, I think that is not fair as we are not accountants and we only saw the tip of the issue.
2778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the most valuable altcoin? on: June 18, 2021, 08:41:56 AM
the most valueable altcoin is ethereum then Binance coin my friend
and there is no big issue on ethereum fees anymore because now as we can see the fees on ethereum transactions getting lower right ?

The fees are really the big reason why some investors are leaving, yes, the fees cool off a bit but because the market is not anymore bullish, so expect that it will rise again as the market will again experience congestion. I agree with you that BNB and ETH is a great investment, but limiting only to this two altcoins, I believe is not a good idea, more investment will help us diversify our investment, hence we can minimize the risk.
2779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 17, 2021, 09:46:08 PM

I don't think that the bookies are wrong putting the Nets as underdog.

Next game will be at Bucks home court and probably that is the reason they are the favorite to win the next game. So let's see if Giannis will perform better, what I mean is that he is doing good in this series, scoring 30+ but he is over shadowed by Durant. And as the season is on the line, he needs to step up here and forced game 7.

Without Kyrie and Harden still not 100%, placing Nets as underdog is fair enough, considering also that they are visiting team and we all witness how Bucks take game 4 from them.

Though if KD play the same intensity bringing everything in his shoulder, the chance still high for them to win, and like what you have said Giannis needs to step up if he wants to push this series into do or die game, Him and Middleton should help each other to keep their distance near from the Nets.

Expect Durant and Giannis to have another monstrous games, player props might good to consider from this game if you are unsure which team to back up.

You are right, but since both are really performing consistently well in the series, you'll have to take a high player props.

Just like the total points per player.

Durant, over/under 35.5
Giannis over/under 33.5.

Do you think it's a great idea to take the over?
2780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: June 17, 2021, 09:25:38 PM
most of the time greed starts to take over people's heads and they stop knowing themselves, and with that the disaster becomes bigger, gambling involves money and nobody likes to lose money, and you need to have a very mentality strong to be able to not get carried away by greed and addiction

Greed comes when people lose control, that's "full greed" and that is not good for gambling since you will be taking very high risk with high greed. In order to minimize the risk, you need to put yourself in control all the time, no one can win with greed their mind as they are not any more objective with their strategy, it's their emotion that would work hard rather than their mind.
