2001  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run in Bitcoin on: February 11, 2022, 02:27:27 PM
As long as the manipulation is still happening, I don't think it has already matured.

Please do notice how volatile the market is, it's still highly volatile and for me, it doesn't show some maturity. Bitcoin now is still the same in the past in terms of volatility, the market could dump a significant amount today and will also recover the next day, so it really tells that there's no high demand yet for bitcoin usage for daily transactions but more for trading and investing purposes.
2002  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need Help!!! on: February 11, 2022, 12:55:16 PM
Honestly speaking, I want to take part in the signature campaign. But I have a little doubt about the bitcoin payment address. From where should I give my recipent's address? May I use a centralized exchange to take payment? Thanks in advance for the answer.  Smiley
It is not wrong to use an exchange's wallet if that is from reputable exchanges but you are also aware of the risk that you might lose them as you are not in full control of the said address. But if your concern is to have a secure wallet address and have the fullest control, a custodial wallet is the best choice, especially if you are planning to store them in long term.

I use a custodial wallet before since that was available in our country but as I know about the Electrum wallet, I decided to switch and now I use this from receiving payment from the signature campaign.
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My crazy plan for 2025 on: February 11, 2022, 12:08:51 PM
snipped~

Coins memes are hard to guess, look at the biggest profit or loss trending on the coinmarket, which is always dominated by coin memes, especially for long-term holdings of up to 5 years, of course, it is very risky, I prefer to hold long-term coins that have a strong reputation such as BNB or Ethereum.
Even we think that meme coins are shitcoins in the other words but we are still not sure if these coins will survive or will compete the market. Perhaps, even Dogecoins still exist despite its low market demand until now. But, I am not really confident that these coins, the choice of OP makes him profitable. Coz just like you, I'd rather invest into projects that we see some assurance (at least) than these projects where our chance is very slim.
2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 11, 2022, 07:45:12 AM
I mean, Casimero still have those speed and strength needed to take down Butler but Casimero's enemy is himself now. Aside from that, IMO Casimero needs a bariatricians or nutritionist to watch him while his training for the fight.

The strength maybe but the speed? I think he is not fast enough, he could not even catch Rigo.  Smiley

I see Casimero successful because of his great timing in the ring, if he maintains his coolness and worth smarter, then for sure he will win the fight, and who knows he can score a knockout that would make people be interested more in him again.

And why would Casimero chase Rigo for his running antics? Lol.
Rigo was surely fast enough but only to outrun Casimero and that's the only thing he can boast because he can't keep up with Casimero if they were to fight very closely, toe-to-toe. He's too obvious that he only wants the money and not to entertain people especially his fans. From that day forth, Rigo was lost his fans from his shameful behaviour.

Prior to the fight, Casimero said that he will knockout Rigo, and Rigo said that would not be possible, and he was right because his strategy was very effective and no boxer could knock out an opponent that will just run in the entire fight, he was good in running but he forget to score, that's why he lose, I'm even surprise that it was a split decision, should be a UD.

That's not new, most boxers are overconfident before the right, some even talk too much but less action in the ring, that was the case of Rigo, he wasn't aggressive and most of his activities are just defending himself from the powerful punches of Casimero, that's why the judges made a decision to score in favor of the champion.
2005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 11, 2022, 07:26:07 AM

Good bet, Warriors will win probobly with 15+ points against the Knicks, they are playing at home and with both Curry and Thompson in the match it will be a really deadly attack by them. I think Knicks without Rose are really weak in this match plus Knicks are bad in away games.

Turns out the Warriors was the one who are struggling in the game, that 15+ win did not happen, in fact, they lose this game and they are on their 2 losing streak. On the other hand, Bucks also fall to the Suns (home team) by a huge margin, games last night was really unpredictable, at least on my point of view.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 11, 2022, 07:09:10 AM

Always expect a surprise, that's where boxing is more entertaining because of such a thing. Khan has been a champion, same with Brook, so we can say that both have the skills to shock the world with a great win, a possible KO is what I'm expecting to see in the fight night, not sure who will make it happen.

What makes this exciting is they are two of British favorite boxers when they are still in the prime of their career, both fighters have legions of fans on that country, it's not years that they are still in the prime of their career so we can still expect the same skills that we've seen in their prime, they are not in a long retirement they are on semi-retire and this fight an push their boxing career again.
And I still believed that there are still a lot of fans inside UK that wanted to see this fight to happen even if both fighters are no longer in this primes.

The odds might be close though during their prime and I think Amir Khan could have been the favorite. But now it's a complete shift, Brook is the favorite to win, but nevertheless still one of the best fight for British boxing fans.

That's for sure, otherwise, this fight will not happen as no promoter will waste their money to spend for the promotion. These two are exciting fighters, it's just that they are not the best in their division and they got expose on their weakness later in their career, but overall it should be an interesting fight.
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: February 10, 2022, 11:45:09 PM
Shiba Inu is now as popular meme coin as Dogecoin and maybe the time will come when Shiba Inu will overtake Dogecoin, so we need to constantly monitor Shiba Inu and of course, the most important thing is to have Shiba Inu in your portfolio, because at any moment this meme coin can start to grow to new heights, also I believe that in the future the price of Shiba Inu will grow very much because a huge amount of money has been invested in this meme coin from big investors, so we just need to wait for the moment of growth of this meme coin.

I am not a fan of meme coins but still I have bought some  shiba inu at 5000+ sat price.  Sad At that point, i thought the same that the shiba inu will out perform dogecoin but the reality is different.  Shiba inu dumped hard and is still a little over 3000 satosti. My experience with  shiba inu is not a good one and i plan to sell my coins at a break even price.
yes, even other people are saying Shiba Inu is profiting but sometimes we also base our experience. I'm also not a fan of these mem coins that is why I feel bad about them, but not that, I feel bad just like you and it was because they don't have the potential for long-term investment. And besides, they are in decline right after their hypes and find no sustainable market demand. That could tell that they are not performing so well unlike the leading altcoins.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 10, 2022, 09:24:57 PM
The speed was there but he is not as fast as Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Rigo. However, if Rigo did not just run throughout the fight, it could be an exciting fight and Casimero will be able to show his might and could probably hurt Rigo in that fight, it was a boring fight and it's not expected that he could knock out a fighter who is not willing to take the risk to engage aggressively.
No one in boxing beats manny's prime's speed, so it's a bit meh comparing any boxers to manny regarding the speed.

The fight is not boring though, at least for me, its just not the typical boxing fight you see. It all means of strategy, casimero get that he will be counter punched always that's why he mostly wait until no punch was thrown.

Rigo was good with timing as well, however, he doesn't have the power to KO Casimero, and in order for him to throw a strong counter punch, he will be at risk of getting open when he do that. If you saw the early rounds, Casimero hurt Rigo but it was not scored as knock down, and after that, Rigo was already playing safe which I think the fans get bored that's why there were some boos in the fight.
2009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 10, 2022, 08:41:39 PM
What are the next few interesting boxing matches in the coming days and weeks?

The most recent i can see is the one between Jacobs and Ryder on this Saturday, day after tomorrow. The next one is between brook and khan on Feb 19 but the most awaited one will be on April 30 between Taylor and Serrano.

For this month I just want to see brook vs khan and Taylor and Serrano and nothing else.
This is still what I'm waiting for, especially the match between Brook and Khan, I'm really looking forward to this because we already know that this is a reputational gamble and can be said to be a revenge duel.
Apart from that their Psywar is quite interesting so I would like to see the two trade blows in the ring

No doubt we will see a great fight on Khan vs Brook, both boxers are still entertaining though they are not in their prime it's still worth our bet. I guess Khan the underdog would stand a chance against Brook as the latter is not also winning fights in his previous fights.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 10, 2022, 08:19:31 PM
^^ Yes, I watch the first few minutes and they were perfect, and I think the score of Jazz is just 2 points and they have like 13 or more points.

But they went on a shooting slump, 2nd to 4th quarter, it was not good to watch the Warriors losing this kind of ugly game as they have been so hot. This could have been their 10 win in a row, Curry only 16 points.

Very poor shooting for the Warriors while Jazz took that advantage, they play well and we have seen that from the game outcome.

Maybe that's the reason why GSW was the underdog and whoever take that handicap for the Jazz, wins it very decently.

Moving forward there are many games to watch out, best time to assess each games and find the best one to bet.  Wink

Klay Thompson was out, that was maybe the reason why they are a slight underdog. I guess everyone was on the Warriors, the boat did sink and we lose our bet. Anyway  moving forward, I guess we will be seeing a rematch of the NBA Finals today, we have Bucks vs Suns, I'm with the Bucks here though they are on the road, +3 should be enough to win.
2011  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading on: February 10, 2022, 09:43:04 AM
Trading has turned out yo be something very risky due to the level of professionalism it requires of any one interested or dares to come on board. Having little knowledge of it and feeling you could win would be a very big mistake on a beginners part. Except for one who is ready to loose everything in order to gain experience and then have another go at it again.
The sad truth is, there are chances that you can loose everything and still learn nothing if you aren't smart enough or your not someone that is open to accepting new things.
Even I was ready to lose my money but I'd never think that we suppose to think before trying traders, perhaps we have to gain. Being new to trading this (gain/profit) is not the thing we should think about but to pursue learning first as next to it will be earning a profit. Well, losing is very certain upon learning and we can never ever avoid that, and in fact, even those who have a long experience in trading still suffer losses, how much more for the novice.
2012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if crypto mining is outlawed ? on: February 10, 2022, 12:03:12 AM
always think positively about the progress of bitcoin, if you believe in bitcoin, avoid FUD about bitcoin because it will make you always think that you are not comfortable investing.
because FUD aims to drop the value of BTC at its base, so close your ears and eyes for a moment for peace
It makes us distracted and even influences us to think negatively as well. This happens to most of the people 12 years ago, what if and what if? We probably have that in our mind before, to think negative is somewhat normal but can't just live it there, we also have to look on the positive side that could make a change. Well, in fact, for many years that some countries are banning crypto but others did not follow as they are not convinced, and this is also the same as mining. For real, people will find a way even how stricter the government is.
2013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 04:56:44 AM
Another disappointing loss of the Lakers is incoming.

They could not handle Giannis and the entire team of course.
The attacks are coming everywhere and everyone is making their contribution, FG percentage of the Bucks are over 50%, which means a lot of defense from the LA Lakers which is a big problem not only this game but on their past games as well.
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 09, 2022, 04:38:47 AM
Things like that could happen, just move on and look for another bet, that's really the risk of high spread as sometimes the team with a huge lead will just relax in the 4th quarter. That's what you called unlucky bet, but you can always trust the warriors to win though.
Thanks. Yes, moving on. 10 games later and there are so many options to pick from. 2 games look fun, 76ers vs Suns and Lakers vs Bucks. The earliest game and the last game of the day.
I'll pick Suns -1.5 over 76ers and Bucks -4.5 vs the Lakers. This is the time when the Lakers could prove something but I don't trust them so I am going for the other team. If the Lakers win then I will still be happy about it.
Another bet is my first time betting for them this season. Orlando Magic. I heard the news on the other thread from morvillz7z that the Trail Blazers traded CJ McCollum to the Pelicans. So I pick Magic -1.5. Good luck.

Wow, seems like you did the right decision, you already won the Suns bet and the Bucks seem to be winning this game too. Already in the 3rd quarter and the bucks have a comfortable lead with 33 points 99-66 is the current score. Easy win mate!
2015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why you will be left behind if you don’t learn NFT. on: February 08, 2022, 11:37:19 PM
There are things that really don't need much explanation, just feel. However, the boundaries of understanding the subject's own problems are also easily forced upon them, narrowing their understanding. Thinking about the process to see results, and just as it takes action is more than just explaining nonsense. The same goes for any trend in any field, it attracts people and gets back in return metaphysical things that we haven't seen, let alone understood. So let's take everything lightly, even monetary goals.
We do have our own will whether we do engage on something or simply skip because we dont like it or we dont significantly see some benefits that it could give into us.
Just let those people do decide for themselves whether they would really be engaging with NFT or not.Even myself considered to be one of those which i dont make out
actions in regarding with NFT projects that we do have now and thats really out of my interest whenever on dealing with digital art or something.
In fact, it was our choice to adopt the new technology or just left behind this advantageous development but honestly, this is very expensive that only rich people could afford it. yeah, but somehow we can't influence the will of other people as now they are more serious about dealing in money than just making fun with these cool games and digital arts.

But when it comes to investment matters, people were tends to decline as the benefits are too small compared to other projects. Even to assess its market demand, that wasn't good to look at especially metaverse are coming also.
2016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 08, 2022, 10:48:02 PM
The headline is pretty confusing for me, what does "reinvesting into alts" exactly mean here?! You sold and now you are thinking to buy again? If that is the case, you know where you made your profits and you should try the same again with the coins that were most profitable!
I mean, everyone should have some goals, what do you wish to have more, dollars or crypto? What are you stashing on a side?! There are too many factors we should look when it comes to trading and investing, so it's hard to give any specific answers! I have had some alts on hold for a long time, of course, last year I sold many of them, I bought some new ones, it's crypto and I am trying my luck with the things I know, I guess we are all doing something similar!
Indeed, we do buy and sell. That is a genuine strategy we used in many years and to question the right to invest in Altcoins? Well, I'm not sure how OP forgets to buy in DIP and sell HIGH. That probably he is doubts now after all and he thinks for a trap regardless of how many corrections and pumps have been happening before. When in fact, if that will be a trap, then we all have to fall into it, I mean those who invest now. But surely it was not, it was just a trap for those who miss this...
2017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 08, 2022, 12:15:03 PM

That hurts a bit, just 1 more point and the spread could've hit.
Miami Heat on the other hand are winning most of their games and now they are on the top of the East. What a shocking turn of events. Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin are both doing pretty well to contribute to the offensive line of the team. They were underrated before the season starts but now they are back on the trend.
Things like that could happen, just move on and look for another bet, that's really the risk of high spread as sometimes the team with a huge lead will just relax in the 4th quarter. That's what you called unlucky bet, but you can always trust the warriors to win though.
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 08, 2022, 11:51:25 AM
That will be the basis on their next action so that the said incident would never happen again. And also for sure Casimero will be careful on what he do since he might lose the chance to fight Inoue for this if he fail to make this fight happen and defeat Butler on a impressive win situation. We know how strong Casimero is so for sure he take note on things he need to do and comeback stronger for that fight.

You cannot lay down your defense when you are expected to fight a potential legend like Inoue and you will take precautions about your training and diet in any way possible. If he does not take his opponent seriously, he won't have a chance to fight a high-rank opponent and he also loses his chance to climb to the top. Hope that he recovers and has the confidence to build himself again. the fight is now delayed and he really needs to fix his condition if he really wants to fight with Inoue this year.

The fight was postponed but we now know the schedule of the fight, it's going to happen on April this year and I think it's not too long to wait as I'm sure that would be the final date Casimero is going to defend his title.

Is it just me or people are out of liquidity ( money ) ?

From what i see : market , malls etc no people,or if they buy something...they buy basic stuff... in my area ...slow biz ...same in your country ?

I guess the pandemic affected everyone all over the world, except for those people who are really rich. Most of us are struggling, so people will choose not to spend on things that are not necessary as we don't know how far this struggle of ours will last.
2020  Economy / Speculation / Re: Evaluate your Bitcoin for next year on: February 04, 2022, 08:53:37 PM
Regarding expectations this year, I definitely want to see a significant increase in the price of bitcoin, considering that I currently hold bitcoin for sale at the highest price. Honestly, in the last year, I got the maximum profit from trading bitcoin. this year I hope there will be many surprises that we can meet so that we can get maximum profit.

We would be able to get a good profit if bitcoin will break its current ATH. However, if bitcoin will be more bearish this year, the situation should still benefit because we can use that as an opportunity to accumulate and enjoy the biggest profit once the market turns into to bullish trend again.

Just today, we have a decent pump, bitcoin is back at $40k above, if this is a great start of a new bullish run, it's still good because bitcoin dipped at $30k+ and I'm sure many investors has accumulated during the dip.
