2761  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 06, 2023, 07:07:51 AM
I have reuploaded all the images OP posted so we can see the whole picture of the conversation, the whole scenario has become your words against his words because of the absence of clear evidence because Rollbit like all the other casino cannot just post their tracking system for future exploit by cheaters but at least Rollbit posted in this thread so we can get their side of the story.

2762  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Roadmap] Making the first buck in crypto? on: January 05, 2023, 11:58:14 PM

However, when it comes to making the first buck with crypto,  I haven't settled on any one method. I have heard people trade, hodl, and do all sorts of other things yet, none seems to be the kind of thing you can do to make a living.
If you cannot make out of it while others can then its not for you

Quote
Well, what I mean is, none of them seem to provide the potential of freeing you from 9-5. Obviously, there are many things that I might not be seeing. So, this is the main point of this post.
You cannot see it because you do not have the skill yet of the others who are making money here, check your interest first, and don't force yourself to make money here, because you can't

Quote
What would you recommend is the most secure way to make money in this world of crypto/blockchain, web3?
There is no secure way to make money in this world of Crypto its a fantasy others preached.

Quote
Also, what are some of the things that I should learn first perhaps to build up a foundation? some sort of roadmap.
Because I sometimes get confused in all this and have a hard time connecting the dots. Having a roadmap of some sort would allow me at least to understand that it is not something that I need to learn but this is what I was supposed to already know. you know, as if I was learning a new programming language.
Check your interest and ask what can you bring to the table, the industry is huge and there's always demand for almost everything if you're a writer then bring it here if you're a designer then show us some of your works for your potential clients.
2763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with PSC on: January 05, 2023, 10:57:28 PM
First time I read about this Paysafecard I checked the internet for casinos that accept Paysafecard and I got these results
casinos that have an announcement here are not on the list be sure to check the reputation of these casinos if you want to play here and use Paysafecard.

Casinos Accepting PaySafeCard
2764  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcointalk is the best forum on: January 05, 2023, 03:16:30 PM
Bitcointalk has been active for over a decade and is still getting better everyday
They are the best forum when it comes to Cryptocurrency and Blockchain but there are other popular forums that are popular and still existed before Bitcoin was created, some of these are Reddit, 4chan, Quora, and many more

So my advice for we Newbies is start thinking of a way of improving this forum first before earning.

You can do both by helping this forum to improve and at the same time make money, if you are a designer or a writer you can offer a service, you need not rank high to offer your service, and you can start as a newbie while working your way to rank.
2765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 05, 2023, 01:58:22 PM
You're still young at 47 to do anything and invest in anything, especially Bitcoin, please age is just a number age is the least issue when it comes to investing in Cryptocurrency, and to motivate you further my neighbor who's already 75 years old invested a big portion of his wealth to Bitcoin and planning to make it as part of his inheritance, because he believes Bitcoin will eventually reach $1 million in the future and he wants his family to reap the rewards in the future.
2766  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM rollbit $737.00 on: January 05, 2023, 12:28:32 PM
Rollbit support are very sure that you have multiple accounts which are permanently banned, the rules are strict about opening multiple accounts especially when you are suspended for any reason. Why didn’t you ask for what proves that Rollbit know surely you are using multiple accounts, is it the same IP address or the same documents you submitted for confirmation. If it was the IP address i don’t think they would ask you for KYC verification but who knows.
There’s much missing informations from you so i hope Rollbit see your topic and clarify things more and if it’s confirmed that you are using multiple accounts that’s your fault.

Rollbit can deny your withdrawal even if it's $1 only, it is not the sum but the action of the player, Casinos don't want their name here in scam accusations but an offense is an offense if you want to have a case then better post the whole screenshots, there's something on those screenshots that did not tell the whole picture, Rolbit can post the whole screenshot and if it is in their favor your accusation will be busted, so if you want to show more show it now and don't hide anything with your incomplete screenshot.
2767  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 04, 2023, 11:41:52 PM
I am still waiting for the « video call » which seems to never happen and I have asked the support to clarify what I am accused of doing exactly. Will revert back when I get an answer

This is still an open accusation and still an issue, it's on them not on you, and this will remain a reference to Rollbit having bad support.
I'm sure they are busy because Rollbit is not a new and small casino they have built their name here already and an accusation like this will have an impact, I'm sure they will reach out and will try to resolve this issue.
2768  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prepaid visa card, no kyc on: January 04, 2023, 10:58:08 PM
Things are looking good for this project they started on the right foot by having a good domain name and they are funded by companies on their homepage

We've raised ~2.1M with about 21% coming from awesome members of the Bitcoin Community.
The only thing missing is marketing and reaching out to the Cryptocurrency community I expect them go full blast when the market is steady, unlike those ICO we are seeing in the altcoin section their team is transparent on who they are and they have the expertise behind them.
2769  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hackers steal $8 million from users running trojanized BitKeep apps on: January 04, 2023, 12:14:11 PM
I never heard of this wallet before but I guess this is another inside job which is why I don't use a random wallet that I never heard. And look play store or apple store they always verify the app if it's from a real developer and the bad thing is how the hacker has control of their user's wallet. It means your coins/token there is not private and they also have full control of your wallet what is the purpose of their mnemonic phrase backup if they can see and control your wallet? It is more likely a centralized wallet.

If you are one of the users of this wallet better switch to another wallet that is known and open source or better buy a hardware wallet.

The inside job is just a speculation, they have the plan to refund those users and also asked Binance to freeze the accounts of those hackers after they traced it, they should extend their investigation on where did those users download the wallet, I'm sure after this some users will transfer their wallet to another more secured custodial wallets, a new custodial wallet with issues like this will have their reputation crumble because its the second time it happens.
Users will still forgive them if this is the first time.
2770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 06:55:47 AM
Free alcoholic drinks, ease of withdrawal machines and ease of which to fund betting/gambling site wallets are serious contributory factors to addictive gambling.

I think there's nothing more serious than beginner's luck I have a few friends that experienced this and they actually believe that they can really make money from gambling and they have luck in gambling, they keep this belief and mindset for so long until they realized that they are already losing a lot of money and time and they are hanging on the false hope that they are lucky and they can make money from gambling, beginner's luck could become a scourge on people who started to gamble.
2771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 03, 2023, 02:01:28 PM
I'm a lone bettor but I do check out other people's opinions this is to verify that I made the right decision or I have to correct something, there's nothing wrong with being a part of a team or group from telegram of a Facebook group, there are sports that you are knowledgeable and there are sports that you need people's help to bring you a good result, sports betting analysis is a learning process and there are times you need other people's guidance and help.
2772  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 03, 2023, 11:15:58 AM
They do use the word manipulation twice. So that’s how I understood it. And other time say « exploiting a vulnerability », so which is it?
That is why this is interesting we don't know how it becomes manipulation, we all know exploiting a vulnerability and we have players guilty of that, but these are two different words with two different meanings so we have to hear their side because it's something new to our ears,

This is the latest update after posting here they suddenly want to review my case and have a video call (lol?) :

Been waiting for more than 48hours though since the first message.
Since they are the ones who offered it better wait to have it scheduled, just be ready for what's to come, there could be some surprises coming.
2773  Economy / Reputation / Re: It sucks that 1xbit still runs on: January 03, 2023, 01:32:25 AM
We are in to 2023 now and 1xbit is still showing no signs of going away any time soon. I wonder what sort of impact they will have in this forum and beyond in 2023. They will most probably run some sort if signature campaign throughout the year (and in some cases maybe even multiple campaigns) that will cause friction between members. As for the number of accusations being made against them, will remain stable, will they increase or will they decrease?

They will continue to run campaigns, multiple campaigns they already build an army of shills and promoters just waiting for them to launch their campaign, these are people who value money more than their reputation here in Bitcointalk, they cannot get in other campaigns, so they become dedicated to promoting 1XBIT campaigns, right now all the campaign are paused but expect them to kick their campaign anytime soon.
This 2023 we will have more of 1XBIT they still need this forum to promote their platform.
2774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 11:45:27 PM
I voted mix on my gambling activity, sports betting is profitable if you know the sports very well, and playing on a luck-based is exciting and thrilling and more entertaining of course you can also win money if you're lucky,  so if you're gambling it's good to have a combination of both, both have an element of luck, in sports betting you can't never be so sure sometimes upsets happen or things didn't go your way because of miscalculations.
2775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023 on: January 02, 2023, 02:59:38 PM
Things are taken care of, for now, this is a dilemma for promoters they want healthy boxers in mind and body in the ring, especially Gervonta who is a very special boxer, come January 7 we'll see how Gervonta deals with the trauma I expect Gervonta to fully dominate Hector Garcia but this is supposed to be a tune fight and the big fights are just coming and Gervonta's handlers and promoters should see to it that everything is smooth going in the big fight which is a Ryan Garcia fight, but for now he should dispose of this another Garcia.
After this work, his lawyers and handlers should tackle all the issues and obstructions for the Ryan Garcia fight.

With all the distractions going into this fight, i don't think Davis is 100 percent ready but i also think that even if a "50 percent boxing ready Davis" will still defeat Garcia but not in an impressive manner IMO.

ML odds for now at my favarite bookies is Davis 1.05, Garcia 7.80, not attractive and not going to bet on that one. Will wait for the "Davis by decision" option as i think it will be 3.XX plus and that would be attractive odds AFAIC.

Yeah, I just check the odds because I was curious, I know that Davis will be the favorite but it seems that sport bookies are not giving Hector Garcia a slim chance to win in this fight.
Neither this forum poll, we have seen how good Gervonta is and there's nothing that Hector Garcia can do that will make him get an advantage over Gervonta, all poll and odds are on Gervonta beating Garcia via knockout
Question:   What will be the results
Gervonta via KO   - 17 (94.4%)
Gervonta via UD   - 1 (5.6%)
Garcia via KO   - 0 (0%)
Garcia via UD   - 0 (0%)
DRAW   - 0 (0%)

Anyhow, we all know that there are distractions on Davis camp and the only way we know if he really is affected by all the negativity around him is if he is not focus on his upcoming. Yes, probably a full 12 rounds and then him winning by unanimous decision will be the best bet as per odds or at least the fight going into distance.
Believe me, Gervonta wants this over as fast as possible and as he could, there are a lot of legal issues that he is going to fix so there will be no distraction like this in the future.
2776  Economy / Gambling / Re: slots.video - reinventing jupiter rising` on: January 02, 2023, 02:12:00 PM
I don't trust a platform that is still incomplete but prefers to launch, there's no FAQ no explainer no TOS the developer should have completed it first before creating a thread, and I remember that this is the same developer that has no budget and experience in running a casino

JupiterRising.xyz | MASSIVE Amount of Games!!

Before opening a new thread about rebranding jupiter.xyz, OP should lock the other thread and concentrate here he can leave a post there inviting visitors to that announcement to go to this thread to explore this new rebranding of Jupiter.xyz.
2777  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PR / Marketing for dApps, Web3 project. Need help on: January 02, 2023, 07:59:28 AM
Hello,

I'm a full-time marketer and PR manager. Due to an unfortunate event in 2022, I had to shut down my small but established agency.

As of now, I need a quick job to make some money before the year ends.

Please suggest, what can be done through this account, and on bitcointalk.

Regards,

We all need money and since you have a skill in PR / Marketing for dApps, Web3 projects why not give it a shot in the service section you can offer a free trial since you have not yet established your reputation here, but once you got few good feedbacks I'm sure more clients will come in, marketing is very a competitive niche, and starting is the hardest part here in Bitcointalk so you need to be fully motivated to keep going.
2778  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: birthday of the scammer Vladislav Alimpiev (of the fraud company localbitcoins) on: January 01, 2023, 11:16:22 PM
Hi, does anybody knows the birthday of the well know scammer Vladislav Alimpiev from the fraud company localbitcoins.com?

Thanks you and a happy new year!

If you have a complaint about that guy follow the right format and just add your question about the guy if you already created a complaint then just post there about your birthday, and it's better to move this thread to another section like the service section or if the company has an existing thread you post your question there, I don't know why you're asking for the birthday of the guy who I think scammed you., are you going to send him a gift or greet him.
2779  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your takes on revenge gambling? on: January 01, 2023, 10:04:45 PM
This is one part of gambling that should be avoided at all costs, it's more like a quicksand you've lost control of your action I once fall into it losing almost 25k on one of the casino-based tokens in their platform, and I still fall into chasing my loss but I have full control now and only limit the amount I use for chasing my losses
It's very hard to control the urge to regain what you've lost, because of the adrenaline rush after losing your bankroll you should have a way to control it or limit your funds in case you are chasing your losses.
2780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 01, 2023, 02:05:35 PM

Most people are not satisfied with their lives and they need some sort of hope for the future to keep going and to prevent themselves from turning into crime, falling into depression etc. However messed-up your life might be, there's still hope that buying a cheap lottery ticket could potentially turn you into a millionaire (or even a billionaire) overnight. That's a powerful tool.

But the reality is, such lotteries usually have way worse odds than any casinos or gambling sites. So, mathematically speaking, you're better off gambling your money there.

Thoughts?
People especially those desperate ones or living on poverty lines, many of us here are like that, need something like a Genie in a lamp to keep their hopes alive, that one day they will escape poverty, and they see it in a lottery they will not accept the mathematical calculations or sound logic that its almost impossible to win as long as they see people like them hitting the jackpot.
Even if it's impossible they just want something to hope for.
